I have an xbox s and for me the frames are just fine and I was really happy when I found out new maps aren’t laggy, I used to get the occasional very low frame rate trails but since the new patch it’s been really good.
note I only played survivor so don’t really knows what it’s like for killers
I agree. I play on xbox one s and have never had problems with fps.
-
Ever since felix richter came out. Definitely him.
-
Most maps are incredibly survivor sided. I'm tempted to say all but most are.
-
Cause they want yo money. Selfish much, yes, considering theres nothing at all on the free pass portion worth anyones while.
-
Ignore it.
-
I dont feel bad for him. That's how this game is. Both sides do it nothing new and nothing to feel bad about.

Not if you're a professional programmer, it's not. Coding style can be a HUGE issue on mixed programming teams.
Wow love that fast reply and detailed response. Never thought the devs had it in them. If only that ability could be utilized more effectively for real questions and problems.

Most coding I've done in the past 7 years has been in C#, and I tend to follow the MS specification for that formatting. I'm SO glad they use Allman bracing.
This is so irrelevant.

Yeeeeees, and achieve true ascendancy, no spaces, ONLY TABS. (Jokes dead on arrival, forum doesn't let extra spaces to mimic a tab between every word...)
Wth are you talking bout?
-
Well I dont wanna talk to any of yall while playing in the first place. And I definetly dont wanna feel obligated to voice communications ingame so yeah I'm not for this at all. You guys have ya swf that's good enough. Be happy with that lol.
-
Any means necessary.

Pc vs console threads, threads about how hard it is to play both sides, nerfing killer threads, how people are leaving or uninstalling the game cause they hate the game now threads, and threads about how whatever killer is too weak in a player's opinion and how they need to be stronger when in reality they just dont know how to play said killer so they rant about it.

Ok but the time you're spending healing should be focused on a gen first, if you're healing every time you get hit self care is a terrible perk and majority of the people that run it will immediately heal every single time instead of doing a gen first so if you add up self caring just 3 times in a game that's 96 seconds wasted when you could've jumped straight on a gen and got healed by a teammate afterwards in 16 seconds or just run inner strength and knock out two birds with one stone and be healed in 8 seconds for doing totems which you should already be doing anyway so there's really no wasted time considering totems and lockers are usually near generators anyway
In all, a teammate should heal another teammate so selfcare shouldnt be used especially when theres such thing as a medical kit. Selfcare is just a dumb perk.

Self Care is actually more efficient. Heal time is the same: 2 Survivors healing for 16 seconds is the same as one for 32 seconds with regard to doing generators. But there's no time spent finding each other. Self Care's performance with regard to Survivor outcomes is quite good, actually.
It's not always the right play to spend 32 sec to heal, but it's not always the wrong play, either.
I think I should put this response on a keyboard macro. :D
Selfcare is a waste of a perk slot. Even a dev wont change my mind on that fact. Theres medical kits so utilize that one perk slot w/ something that'll actually be worth while I say.

The only time quickswitching is actually annoying is when a "normal" character gets switched to a Blendette with a key. But I'll just tunnel that person as punishment or lead the killer to them with Bond if I'm playing survivor.
Haha, good job.
-
I'm all for this. I hate it when I see a claudette being the switched survivor when I'm in lobby as survivor then I have to quickly get the hell outa there before it goes to the loading screen.
-
Dont use noed.
-
Steve. I'm comfortable playing him.
-
I dont know maybe their just really hot.
-
Why does every other console player have problems with fps and all that stuff. I play on xbox and never experience any of these drawbacks. I've always never understood the differientating difference between PC and console because I dont have these issues personally, or maybe I just dont recognize the low fps when ingame. Just take off crossplay, I guess.
-
Theres no point at all. Believe you me that I've got more head trap kills with just combat straps and video tape on in one day than with any purple or green add one the pig has. Had two head traps kills two days in a row and I was the happiest pig player for those days haha.

Lol, no way! This is the only killer that makes me want to DC!
What?! Haha.

The Deathslinger. I love playing with him it's always so immersive in the gameplay.

It's that whole... 4th guy that's slight unpredictable in this situation. They can either work gens alone or with another. Or work the killer in loops. While 3 swf work together that other you just cant get a feel for.
That said. I'm often that solo player. I do things away from the group majority. I'll only help if it looks dire for that team mate. I'm usually the 1 3rd out or survived. It does get frustrating. Since there's those who crap on the solo and we Are expendable compared to the friend they survive with. But I personally do whatever it takes to survive my own self. Correct any situation the team mate done to me. Intentional or not.
I agree.

It is incredibly difficult to play this game with unpredictable teammates... Playing survivor in a SWF is pretty much a must for anybody that actually wants to rank up. Otherwise, they're just meming, or just happen to be a good set of 4 rank 1's (which is very rare).
Not true. Made it to r1 as a solo survivor. It took a long time but got there and I stay there till this day.

I'm not a fan of SWF; I'm open about my bias. I think it would be fine if they were in their own Que, and something was done to balance the 5th Perk (Comms) that every SWF team gets. I've suggested they need one more Generator to open the gate, and/or a 5th Perk for Killers. All that being said, I'm keeping an open mind and hope the upcoming release (including Blight Perks) will help address the situation. Still, I will fight a SWF reluctantly. I say that I'm reluctant because I've reached a Rank where all I seem to fight are Reds and Greens. There are no casual SWF teams at these Ranks. As the Entity (Nea) would say, "Meh."
But what I hate more than anything is a dealing with a 3-Person SWF that comes into a Lobby and then is joined by some poor guy/gal. Why? They treat that person like a meat shield, and consider said person entirely expendable. I know this is a generalization, and there are exceptions. But after a LOT of games and seeing this, I can honestly say I pity the poor Solo who gets stuck with them. I'm almost to the point of trying to make sure that is the sole survivor that I carry to the damn hatch every time.
I agree with you 100%. Being a solo with a 2 or 3 man swf your looked at as the random which is rude cause your a teammate nonetheless I mean just because someone is solo queuing doesnt mean they're bad players let alone expendable. When in all reality your better than them when going solo then they are as a group which is why people do swf because they dont have abilities as a solo or they think their teammates will suck cause it's not swf. As an experienced and only solo survivor since I've played dbd I can say I've had dream teams numerous times and have confidence in my abilities as a solo survivor. It's a grand time and sometimes not but there's never expectations when I play only hopefulness.
-
The red rank most likely had a bad time cause their teammates were lower than their skill level so I dont know why they would insult you like this and instead understand that they were playing with low rank teammates which led to a lost. Good job on your match though.

Okay. Way to go x gamer otz. Im so amazed and stuff, 50 wins what a real champion.

Dead Hard, Imagine a killer dead harding through a pallet and just not getting stunned and being next to you
That's funny.

Did you get mori'd off your 1st hook? It's always a good day when mori'ing a survivor off their 1st hook. Good times, good times.

Worst: original Mettle of Man, Ormond, Nurse changes, Ruin nerf, removing offerings for moonlight brightness
Best: BBQ, changing brand new parts, graphic/performance updates (2017 was brutal on console), buying killers with shards, hatch changes w/EGC.
Oh my goodness the brand new part change made me mad lol because if I did happen to miss it itll be an embarrassment because others will know. Wow never thought of that I would've listed that.
-
I never play with keys or flashlights when on killer role. However one flashlight is okay. It's their cheapest way to win and those items are just annoying.
-
Bodyblocking. Its not reportable but isnt an okay thing to do still.
-
Pretty sure I just experienced 3 hackers today while playing killer. Either that or just another level of lag I've never seen before.
-
Kindred.
-
If your suggesting make them harder I'm not with you on that.
-
5 best: crossplay, events, graphic update, the cancellation of infinite loops, and the many different licensed characters that are in the game.
5 worst: hackers, swf, flashlights, god pallets, keys.
-
A killer may resort to camping and tunneling because of a challenge they're doing to just make it easier for them to finish. That's what I do if I'm just trying to finish a challenge. It's not always personal. Killers have challenges also just like survivors who would go into a match and not do anything else but their challenge. Killers arent NPCs so it wont always be the same every match.

Combat straps and video tape are the best add-ons. They make the dash much more usable on loops and during chases.
Last will and crate of gears is nice for extra slowdown.
Excellent choice of addons. You'll be wise to use her video tape and combat straps majority of the time because it helps with chases very well. Getting good with her ambush attack at loops will make for easy hits and pressure since they know you know how to utilize her power with pallets and other loops of the sorts.

Shattered Syringe is good as well. In the late game you can just predict that someone is going to run from a loop, but in the early game it can mean the difference between a between-loop hit or a pallet in the face.
Who cares about shattered syringe when you can use the video tape addon. Like that's a last resort if one didnt have video tape along with John's file. Shattered syringe and John's file just makes up for video tape.
-
Combat straps, video tape, and Amanda's letter only are her best addons. The first 2 are brilliant addons for chases. The latter shows auras when crouched which gives easy hits in matches and a 4k, haahaa.
-
Uh, hook them duh. I'll never show mercy to them.

I always get stressed when I play killer, and end up depipping from my own stress, which leads to more stress, and it's an endless cycle. I wish I could just turn off the ranking system and play without effecting it.
I understand you very well it can be stressful playing killer. I would say take a breather after each match to collect yourself mentally hopefully afterwards you'll be at peace and ready to play again. It's going to be okay.
-
Hooray! Someone who loves playing with the deathslinger also!
-
I love whispers. It's great for both beginning pressure to find a survivor before the 1st generator and to ensure that 4k in the end. Also it helps in between of course, it's a go-to perk for killers in my opinion.
-
Huntress cause I love the tantrum she throws everytime. And the pig doesnt make a funny sound when stunned she makes a cute sound. Theres a difference.
-
Yes, I'm an entitled 4k killer and proud. Deal with it.

If an swf squad chooses to stay injured and the best looper with desperate measure, botany knowledge, built to last, self care and an emergency med kit gets chased he could heal himself in roughly 4-5 seconds meaning every pallet or two that you drop means a full heal and if your med kit runs out you can repair your med kit, and if you are running borrowed time the bonus speed to unhooking guarantees that the unhooked survivor can take a hit for you, and if that wasn't good enough if you are playing solo with a team full of potatoes desperate measures can help you hard carry your team, what do you think of this amazing perk?
Although it sounds like a situational perk build, its creative nonetheless despite all the negative feedback. Just experiment and see.

With high quality graphics makes for the highest gaming experience in my opinion. Graphics is actually the first thing I look at in a game before deciding to play it.
