Discordance is S tier for me

It was some time ago, but now the survivors spilting up on gens and it becomes kinda wothless. From my prospective. If you have great results with it bring it and have fun.

MfT was problem and it's gonna be nerfed.

But now we are getting complaints for SB too...

    What perks we should use

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/PCGXFYSSIEZC/image.png

SB and all the other exaustion perks got allways complains and we would have complaind more if MFT havent brocke the the game. The exaustion perks are annoying to play against, because it feels like no rlly skill is involved. From a Killer prospective. Its like playing against Spirit, SM, Onrio or Knight. (In terms of no skill needed) Thats where the most complains come from I guess. For me I would say yes they can be very annoying, but I dont think they need drastic changes or something. As Killer I played against them to mutch, to care and as a survivor I dont need them to be good.

    tittle.

dont get me wrong , the map changes are great , the trickster changes are (idk i need to play the PTB)

the MFT changes are okay as well , sorta? *still affects slinger , knight and legion the most now*

Im oke with MFT effects knight. He is borring to play and against. Legion will not be effected that mutch, if you manage the power right.

But blights addons I totaly agree they need a nerf, but addon changes are someting the devs rarely do exept one or two here and there. PH, Nemesis and Freddy also need masive Addon changes, because most of them are worthless.

  • @Chocolate_Cosmos said:

Developers put out blog talking about future changes coming on test server next week, so we can test them. Everything and very likely something, will be subject to change.

Now imagine how many content creators, people on social media and here on forums start Trickters apocalypse, MFT dead etc when the PTB is a Week away from now to test. Trickster changes are huge and need to be tested yet everyone seems to allready have access to them and played like 10 games with him.

Can you all stop overreacting and wait for that PTB to show up and then you can seriously talk about this. I am tired, maybe I should take like 48h break after each blog post / major update from dbd media until you guys all chill out and it becomes old news.

True. Trickstar need to be tested befor jugeing anithing and MFT needed that nerf and like DH is now a perk, that need more skill to use and isnt a get out of jail card for free.

Im happy to see that the devs do changes the comunity request or think. Yes some changes in the past were weard, but they improve.

  • @TeleportingTurkey said:

I feel like they should be reverted & made not stack with each other.

Though I'd rather see complete rework of these perks because infinite regression resources isn't very good thing to have

I like that idea of not stacking, but a problem is OC has an decreased regression at the start and a higher later so its hard were to start and end and yes its to cheap to just kick a gen for these regresion.

  • @Astel said:

Hello. Posted this because I just want to know your opinion. As the title says, what is your opinion about these? I personally think they got nerfed so harsh and now they are worthless.

CoB is defenetly useless now. OC is still a good perk for skillcheck builds, but yes these kinda builds arent that good.

  • @TheycallmeLix said:

I’ll admit, I used MFT when it was new and kinda liked the perk, but I stopped using the perk for 2 months now cuz I knew it was gonna get nerfed anyway and I was tired of rocking the same build every game, it gets really stale at some point.

But yeah, I see everyone being really happy about MFT getting nerfed next update. Personally, i don’t even care about it cuz I don’t use it anymore. But are you guys more happy about MFT getting nerfed or when OG Dead Hard was nerfed in 6.1?

I m very happy with this. More happy than the nerf to dh. Resonsons for this are:

    1. Dh was one time use Mft if 50% of the chase.

    2. Dh nerf wasnt that big its still a very strong Perk.

    3. Dh was good against every Killer and mft only punishes M1 Killers.

Since release of mft I have barly played M1 Killers, because it feals so trashy to play against it. Im happy I can play Trapper, Pig and Freddy again. Yeah i know Freddy is borring, but I havent played him for so long now.

Stuff that people refuse to hear/accept.

Survivor UI changes was pointless, most of the time it doesn't even do anything and the issue was never survivor or solo Q being a problem it was just players being bad and refusing to learn and instead relied on highly unfair perk combos to win.

There are only 3 problematic killers currently in the game Nurse and Blight for obvious reasons and Hag (shocking to most of you i'm sure) but her ability to trap an area and teleport immediately locks her from basically any buffs. The good thing about Trapper is that his traps had to be collected so he couldn't just immediately set up a web and sit in it, hag can do so and while NOW she is fine (mostly) she is pretty much stuck where she is and any meaningful buffs will push her over the edge (I didn't include Twins since they're not too strong or too weak they're just boring which is subjective as some people may find Twins fun)

Killer-only players have insanely fragile minds and Survivor-only players are huge babies. Killers constantly complain about survivors being too strong or that they don't get matched properly yet will camp(old) and tunnel and play as unfun as possible to ensure a 4k which will just get them better players instead of taking the 0k-1k and using that as a learning experience then they go vs good survivors or a swf and say they were treated unfairly. Survivors have basically everything handed to them in game and still complain when the game isn't easy but when the game is easy they get mad that it wasn't fun quite literally nothing appeases survivors, nothing will satisfy their ego. If you're playing killer ignore the salt and move on to the next game nothing you say will stick if you try to reason/explain yourself.

DBD is a casual game not an Esport. I know the hardcore DBD players (not you casuals you guys are awesome) HATE to hear this but it is, the sooner you accept that the sooner you'll be actually happy playing a game you hate yet refuse to stop playing. There is no victory or defeat screen there is nothing to gain except bloodpoints. Other than MMR (which is hidden and barely even matters) there is absolutely nothing in this game to separate you (a sweat) from them (casuals) to show you are better. These are things that are included in competitive games and DBD lacks them. If you get 4 kills or 4 people out but I did my archive or whatever else I planned to do when I queued up you didn't win as far as me and the game are concerned you just finished the match that's all

UW is fine, MFT is not. I'm not gonna elaborate on this because of how many threads there are on these two perks.

There are more I have but I am honestly typing this while being tired so I won't bother and i'll just see what happens with this when I wake up.

P.S: IF this blows up for w/e reason try not to get rude/hateful these are OPINIONS

Survivor UI: It mid seem pointless, but its rlly not. The UI gives constandly information what you need to do. I think why you could think its pointless is because not many survivors look at it. My frinds who I play Survivor with messing up constandly, cause they dont look at it and go unhook or something. So I think if used right the UI is rlly helpful and was a very good change.

3 Problematic Killers: Nurse for sure she was allways strong and I dont think, that will ever changes. because she is free to play and she is the strongest. The Nurse is the answer for the devs, that dbd isnt pay to win. Blight baiskit is fine only the addons need changes. Hag is fine I would say strong, but not to strong.

Killer/Survivor only Players: True I would say.

DBD is casual: Hard to say I wish it would be, but you cant say this to every player. Some want to sweat and you need to include them, even if dbd is so freaking borring if you play as best as posable.

UW and MFT: I think both are problematic even MFT is mutch more of a problem, than UW.

And now go sleep again. :D

  • @playhard said:

I play both of them. Twins a little bit more, because MFT has barly an effect on Twins.

I really like the game, it's entertaining. It's mostly the only game I play. However lately I've noticed that I have passed from spending 3-4 hours per day to at most 1-2 matches and then switching to literally anything else because the game makes me bored...

Is it a me problem, or the lack of variety in gameplay is actually making the game boring to play?

You need to make your variety.

    For Survivor

Just try out every perk and dont use meta, because the perks are strong, but they are also the most borring ones like WoO or Adrenalin. You dont need meta to win as Survivor if you are a good player. ( Yes the teammates are rlly bad sometimes so you cant win every time) Its also more fun to make a good play with a weaker perk.

    For Killers

Its the same, but depending on the played Killer you sometimes need meta Perks, but not all four find perks, that work well on the Killers (like iron maden on bubba it feels so good to insta down someone trying to doge a hit with a locker. ) But like I said for Survivors dont bring full meta on someone, thats very strong. You also wouldnt like to play against a pop, Pain Res, plaything, pentimento blight.

Yes if if the killer ...

...is to weak like Onrio (release).

    ...is to complex like Singularity.

...is borring to play like Artist

Xeno is none of that. Infekt he was wished from the community for years. The only reson why he isnt played as much were the tail is very very buggy and maybe cause of the borring addons.

  • 1. Clown ( he is just so annoying )

    2. SM (Just dc if she protect gens. Its not worth to put so mutch time in one round.

They just reverted a change from the PTB, that's it. That's not a rework and honestly the buff should never had happened. Having a ranged melee attack that can hit over loops and has limited slowdown on whiff was stupid.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3553619#Comment_3553619

How does MFT do all that? The only way someone is looping you around the map six times is if they are chaining loops together. You don't need MFT to do that.

Yes you dont need MFT for this, but its mutch more easy to do it, even if you arent that good of a survivor player.

    Just a question.

You had a survivor down, and chased the other one. Why not hook the downed survivor? Can't get endurance for healing if you don't leave them the option.

This is meaningless for the disgussion. If he/hooked the survivor, the other would have easly outrun him/her for the time the other is on hook and die. So basicly a free escape or a lose lose situtation.

  • @dbdthegame said:

5 months that this garbage perk is still in the game, unchanged, gifting survivors everywhere a free 3% haste effortlessly. How much longer?

I stoped playing killer cause of MFT. Its just awful to play against. If you play an M1 killer you are straight up useless.

  • @Xernoton said:

    Question is in the title.

Honestly, I see no reason why the killer shouldn't be allowed to see the hook stages. It wouldn't really make tunneling easier but it might help killers, who want to go for as many hooks as possible.

I personally don't have a lot of trouble counting hook stages but I did experiment with it before and made a point out of not counting and the results were an average of 5.4 hooks for the first kill. This is what happens when I do not count hooks and simply go for whoever I can find / down quickly. Now, I don't know about you, but I'd rather play against a killer, who gets their first kill at 9 hooks than at 5.

Now consider what a killer needs to do in order to tunnel as opposed to what they need to do in order to play as 'fair' as possible. Tunneling requires a killer to count to 3. Going for as many hooks as possible on the other hand requires them to count to 2 on 4 different survivors. So it's actually easier to tunnel. Is that really what we want?

What do you think about it?

No a Killer shouldnt see the hook states.

  • Same for Killer wepons. If its not licenced it doesnt make sence.

  • @Grigerbest said:

Hi, I'm not sure if this will cure a tunneling, but... For a first step to fight this...?

    Basically:

    1. First you hook Dwight - no additional bloodpoints.
    2. Second you hook Claudette - this is a +500 bloodpoints.
    3. Third hook on Nea - now it's +1000 bp.
    4. And for the last of a circle, you hook Jake - it's +1500 bp.

It should also work if it's like this: Dwight --- Claudette --- Dwight again.

After that you keep hooking different survivors and make yourself a +500 additional bloodpoints for each hooked survivor. In that case, you basically intensifies a killer to go for different survivors to get a better reward.

It also should include a pip system based on that idea, like you have a better perfomance if you hook different survivors all match. Maybe even depip if you're hooking the same survivors over and over?

Now... Should the killer get some sort of a penalty for tunneling along with this idea? Personally I don't think so, because when you tunnel 1 guy, you basically have no presure on gens, and losing a match rapidly if survivors actually sit on gens. It's a penalty by itself.

But if in need of a penalty... How exactly to...?

Tunneling should still be a thing, but only when the killer have no other choice to secure a kill.

I'm basically talking about tunneling from the beginning of the match (5 gens), which is pretty sad and unfortunate for the guy who getting tunneled...

I dont think this would prevent tunneling. I like, that your fist steep is reword the Killer for not tunneling. 😁 But sometimes you need to tunnel and dont habe time to hook everyone. In these situations BP doesnt matter winning does matter there.

  • @awustzdn said:

What they should do is just bring back the BP bonus on BBQ.

True. Everyone used it and try to get all the stacks. Even on Killers like Hag everyone used it.

  • @Iron_Cutlass said:

Survivor gets unhooked, they use BT to bodyblock for their teammate, and they complain about tunneling in post-game chat.

It does not happen to me often when I play Killer, but if you bodyblock with BT, then I will go for you since you are throwing yourself in my path and obstructing my ability to not tunnel you and go for other players.

I also think you have no room to complain about tunneling either, I was going for someone else until you blocked my path, if you want to avoid being tunneled, you could have just ran the other direction.

I must state again though, that this does not happen often, I think Ive only had it happen like 1-2 times over the past few months or so, I just dont quite understand why people get upset over this.

These are just people, that doesnt think. The want you to play like they want as they call it "fair". If I have these players I always go after the BT guy, because if you think throw it in a logical way it just makes sence. If you get to a hook where an unhook happends, how many hits are needed to down one of them? Both two. If one decides to block you so you need to hit these one, he/she need one and the other two. So why should you go after a Survivor, who needs two hits, if you have one that need one right in front of you.

  • Isnt it meaningless which Survivor you have in your rounds ( exept Claudettes :D). Also if you "love" her you could play her by yourself.

Also an advise if you want to love someone dont pick someone who cant love you back. Love is the best feeling in the world, but only if you also feel getting loved. I wish you the best.

Right from the bat --- Hex: Pentimento + Hex: Plaything.

This is probably one of the most broken hex combo that been existing for 2 years, and probably slept on.

    (Educational purpose)

    Hex: Pentimento:

You can perform a ritual on a cleansed Totem to resurrect it as a Rekindled Totem.

For each Rekindled Totem active at the same time, Hex: Pentimento gains an additional effect:

    • 1 Totem: reduces all Survivors' Repair speed by 20/25/30 %.
    • 2 Totems: reduces all Survivors' Healing speed by 20/25/30 %.
    • 3 Totems: reduces all Survivors' Recovery speed from being downed by 20/25/30 %.
    • 4 Totems: reduces all Survivors' Exit Gate Opening speed by 20/25/30 %.
    • 5 Totems: all Totems are permanently blocked by The Entity.

    Hex: Plaything:

If there is at least one Dull Totem remaining in the Trial Grounds, Hex: Plaything activates on a random Totem each time a Survivor is hooked for the first time:

    • The hooked Survivor suffers from the Cursed and Oblivious Status Effects until Hex: Plaything is cleansed.
    • For the first 90 seconds, only the Cursed Survivor is able to cleanse the Hex Totem.
    • The Aura of Hex: Plaything's Hex Totem is revealed to the Cursed Survivor within 24/20/16 metres.

All effects of the Hex Perk persist until its Hex totem is cleansed or blessed.

How it works: You (killer) hook a survivor, 1 totem for that survivor becomes Hex that they need to cleanse (other survivors can't cleanse it), which means they need to spend time cleansing a totem right after getting unhooked instead of doing gens. You can hook 4 survivors - 4 plaything hexes.

When they cleansed it - you just need to rekindle it with pentimento, which means they need to cleanse 4 hexes again, which means overall they need to cleanse 8 hexes in 1 match, which is an insane ammount of time being wasted just on totems instead of gens.

Oh and btw - it's just 2 perk slots. So you can use your Pain rez and Pop, or other 2 perks with this.

"To counter that you just need to not cleanse plaything" - that is a pretty unreliable counter, since you're gonna be grabbed from a gen by some point since you don't hear killer's TR. But if they do cleanse at least 1 plaything - pentimento is gonna be in play.

I'm keep seeing people complaining about MFT or Ultimate Weapon, but how about this combo?

    Ain't that kinda op?

Its strong yes but it isnt op. If the Killer has it you have two options.

    1. Destroy your Totem remember the position and break it again. (Very simple)

    2. Ignor plaything.

  • @Deathstroke said:

So I have not recently played much dbd due to playing tcm instead and now I came back to play and used cake as reward killer instantly camped me and teammates didn't even try to save... Well it will be last time I use cake for a while. I use them once a week typically but now probably not in months. I still have about 3000 cakes from previous two anniversary.

The cake is meaningless. If the Killer wants to camp you he will do it. Also if your teammates would got camped you wouldnt have made the post. So the post means I got camped. Its bad but happends.

  • @Chocolate_Cosmos said:

You will get tbagged at exit gates if you do that. You think Survivors care you played nice? Nope, eat that Mr Killer! Haha noob ezi match.

But then you don't play fair and you play Seriously and some Survivors just give up on hooks and cry in chat how cruel you are and how bad of a person you are.

Then what should you do then?

Some Survivors will thank you for playing as people call it "fair". If you can see you stomp them go for 12 hooks if they have full meta and op Items play mean.

But after all is your fun your property and there fun isnt yours. If the say gg ez just say gg wp and move on. Maybe they played better or brought op ######### it doesnt matter, because you have a life and have better things to do them write with someone, that just want to mean to you.

  • In terms of these five I rlly like to play Twins. Hag sometimes and the others. Trickstar I just suck at and dont like him rlly mutch wouldnt play him by anymeans. SM just need a rework, because she is borring to play AND to vs. Freddy i dont know he has great perk combos, but thats it. If I play an M1 Killer I would most likely pick the pig just because I love the hitanimation. (Trickstar also have a great hitanimation, but if you hit normaly you do something wrong)

And for others play Twins more would need a reduction for colldowns. 8 seconds from a down to normaly walk as Charlet no wonders everyone sluggs with her.

....Don't u dare compare a elite level chess game from the skull merchant to anything!!!

Yeah ...😂 at least chess needs some kind of brain power, but SM is just knowing where to place the drone to have no dead spott, thats covered and when to recall and when reactevate. For me thats not enough for even thinking starting a chess elite match. The Video where eternal playes against the p100 SM even prove, that there is no brain needed, because the SM hears music in the Background. In chess you would do that at all and with every other Killer also, because you need to hear. 😂

Perks are generated depending on the character

when did downing somebody stop being considered skilled? while the kick itself might be unskilled at least its a tradeoff, you lose distance on the person repairing it in exchange for applying eruption. it takes 1.8s, giving the survivor 7.2m of distace. 7.2/0.6=12 seconds to regain the distance you just gave them, allowing them to cover 48 more meters of ground before you reach them. Its more of a tradeoff than people realize, and only a few killers can regain that distance quickly to counteract it.

at least it requires setup, if we're going to say downing someone isnt skilled we should be complaining about pain res or pgtw, not eruption.

You dont want to kick gens in chase normally. Exept you play Wraith with o kick build. Yes you can kick gens in chase but you better only doing it if you have the upper hand. The only Killer, that also uses Eruption perfektly is SM and buffing Eruption and SM also by doing this is a pls dont do it for me. Btw I m a killer main and probably shouldnt saying that, but Eruption is at a good state and pls delete SM thanks.

  • @Venusa said:

True the skill is the same as needed to play Skull Merchant.

  • @shogoaluni said:

I always play survivor so therefore I have no idea how it is to play killer so I wanted y'all's perspective on tunneling. If you do tunnel, why do you do it? I am not asking out of saltyness, I'm genuinely curious if it is such a needed game strategy. Do you always tunnel, or is there something a survivor does to influence it? If you do not tunnel, why don't you? What do you do instead of tunneling to still have a productive game? I want to understand what's going on inside killer mains minds so it will help me get less frustrated by getting tunneled out some games. I also want your perspective on this type of stuff since I never play killer, i have no idea how it feels to be on the other side so I don't think it's fair to judge until I get some knowledge from the other end.

I do tunnel if I have to, that means if the survivors are splitting and are very efficient at doing gens its rlly hard to win the game without tunneling or without many slowdown perks. This also depends on the killer I play. Killers like Nurse, Blight, Wesker, Xeno, Twins can mostly win without the need of tunneling, because you can delay the game with quick downs, but if even one chase is to long you will lose, if you dont have slowdown perks or tunnel. Means if I rlly want to win I look at the state of the round and decide if I need to tunnel or not.

  • Always in Power (No its up to the survivors to kick him out of it)

Pallete showdown impossible (defenetly skill issue)

bigger hitbox than huntress (the Survivor hitboxes are the same the difference is, that the hatchet hitbox is bigger. The tail is smaller and gets better over something)

    0 skill requirement (No)

most loops are pointless (skill issue)

basically fastest stealth killer (true same speed and same speed = one is faster)

counterplay is pure luck (No it depends on the killers addons, the turret placements from the survivors and the killers reaction time) Yes itsnt the best counterplay (I mean only the turrets), but he is new and the addons need some tweaks

recovers very fast from missed attack so its even pointless to dodge if there is no window (the first point I would agree the buff from ptb to live was deffenetly to much, but as I say it before with the addons he is still new and need some small tweaks )

if you are very lucky and the Flamethrower works-(very rare) and throws him out of the power it takes him only 10 second until he has his power again (thats straight up a lie) If he chase you normaly it takes quit some time. If he goes into his tunnel he, he isnt chaseing anymore and need time to get in chase again.

Overall I would say yes the killer need changes to addons and and coldown times, but I dont think the killer itsself needs a big nerf or something he is nearly perfectly.

  • @Iron_Cutlass said:

Okay, for me personally, I will admit that I am a petty person, I do many things just out of spite.

But, of all things I do, I do have a mini "code of conduct" that I follow, most of it contains obvious stuff like "only BM if they are friends and/or if they BM me first" as per ingame banter.

One of the things I have done for a really long time in DBD though, is if someone is AFK or intentionally throws the match, I will solely make sure that they do not escape and let every other player in the match escape.

Likewise, if someone is also trying to intentionally off themselves ingame (like when they point at the hook over and over specifically), I will make sure that they survive out of pettiness or bleed them out and let the other people go depending on the situation (a lot of nuance with this one).

With the new Alien chapter, there are going to be people who do not want to play against the new Killer, so it has been a rather common occurrence to have it happen.

I got into a confrontation over doing it, a player was not happy that I let everyone go despite the fact that they were AFK the entire match and only didnt play because I was playing the Xenomorph. Of course they called me out and reported everyone for "working with the Killer" despite the fact that they were never actively playing the game anyways.

I think the only thing bad thing I have done is just bleed people out, but as I mentioned before, Ive only done it if they point at the hook, and I normally let the other people go (unless I am doing Adept of course).

The only problematic thing is it is kind of hypocritical since I hate being bleed out myself, but I have recognized that there is a bit of nuance to the topic as to when and when not I think it is acceptable, I try to be a bit more critical as to when and when not I do it.

(If they are the final Survivor, and they are near a hook, I will just hook them. Im not for prolonging the match more than intended. I will only bleed people out if they want to throw the entire match for their team because they are unhappy with something that happened. If you waste your team's time and my time then I will waste your time to put it bluntly.)

Am I a jerk for this? Should I maybe play more "fair" and treat everyone equal here? Im not too sure, I wanted to hear other people's thoughts on this.

I think you are playing to fair at some point. If someone points at a hook I just kill them and if someone is afk I also just kill them. Its bad if that happends in your team, but the round ends faster for everyone. So everyone can move on. If its very early and I feel like it I will farm with them and let them out yes, but these things are your decision. The whole thing of bleeding someone out is also your decision. I only do it if I have no other choise. If the survivor abuses boil over for example or a full lobby of flashlights, where they are swarming the downed survivor.

They are actually fun if you cant get over the 7 second cooldown and being kicked in the face if you fail.

Twins have interesting and unique gameplay that just needs heavy tweaks in my opinion.

true. I also like playing them, but as you ment the coldowns are very bad. Yes you need them sometimes its a very strong power, but the seven second coldown from down with victor to Charlot being able tol walk is so long you rather stay as victor to slug, because its feels more like the way they should be played.

    Youve seen the twins?????

You should buy a lottery ticket my friend.

It was me most likely. I played six Rounds of Twins and in 4 of them the survivors told me I should main them :D

Title. If you could change on aspect of the game, what would it be?

It can be literally anything you want, for better or worse; also dont worry about how the community will receive the change, since whatever you say will go through regardless of community reception, as per this being a hypothetical scenario.

Also by one thing, I mean one thing. Dont put a long list of things you would want. If you want to remove a set of maps; pick a map or realm, not multiple things. If you want to buff a set of perks; pick a single perk. Etc.

    Maps

  • I think your problem is, that you play Legion against MFT. Every Killer without a chase power/movement power has a hard time against a good player with MFT. Im a Killer Main, but I play both sides like 60% Killer and 40% Survivor. I would say I am a little bit above average in both sides. I play every Killer and after the release of MFT I guessed low Tier killers will have a hard time against this perk and thats what we see at the moment. I think the worst killers to play against MFT are Legion, Pig, Doctor, huntress and Trickstar. With these killers you can rlly feel the difference between 100% or 103% movement speed.

So how can you solve this problem, if you dont want to play another killer? I would probebly try to use stealth perks, because at this way you maybe can catch survivors of guard. Monitor is also worth a guess. The smaller terrorradius let survivors think you are further away. You also could try to exhaust the survivors, but I think these Perks arent a real counter to MFT.

But I dont think we should get bonus shards for playing killer. Yes we get very few shards, but let one role get more istn the right way.

And I like playing killer, because I dont need to someone to win.(its 100% my fault if I lose (exept Maps and overpowert Items)) I like it because its not like other games, where you need godlike aim. For dbd you need to use your brain and outplay the otherside. Its so satisfying to outplay someone, that its lets me keep playing killer.

Also I know some killer games are straightup unwinable, but I dont think killers need a very big buff. The only changes I would sugesst are buffs for the weaker killers, nerfs to blights addons and a nerf to MFT. I know it feels great to play but its totally bullshit to play against it with a weak killer.

I wish you try keep playing killer. I wish you, that some day you have no matches, where you feel you couldnt win it.

BHVR need to stop rewarding killers for making a mistake.

Chase survivor for ages, tunnel them out for outplayed.

Lose pressure on gens, camp and tunnel for take pressure back.

Lose gens, get free kill by NOED.

Where does BHVR does anything rewording for the killer there. Its the only option for the killer if its not going well. If he/she would play in an more fun way (for the survivors) he would lose very very hard. So why shouldnt he/she tunnel if its not going well? Also I see NOED as the Exhaustion PErk for killers. You get hit the entire round by exhaustion perks so NOED is just there to get the pressure back you lost from the exhaustion perks.

the funny part... is that all the nerf suggestions would only hurt newer players.

no because newer players wouldnt have the perk or know about it

Id agree with point 2 if you posted this 5 years ago

Game is balanced enough where a good chunk of killers can still hold their own against a group

So you dont think KIllers like trapper, Freddy, Myers, Clown, Legion, Trickstar, and Pig need buffs or reworks

am i the only one who feels bad when the killer loses the match and my teammate or two just start spamming "ez" "noob" in the post-chat? the person that we're going against is a player too, doesn't mean you gotta treat him like trash immediately. or even better, just because we've lost they all automatically assume that the killer's "cheating", and when i do say that it all was fair and might be because of the addons/perks, they all start bashing on me too and i become their main victim, no wonder everyone calls the survivor side toxic. i just try to keep the calm atmosphere by saying "ggwp" even when it's a loss but some people want the opposite, unfortunately.

sometimes i just hate my teammates more than our own opponent, who agrees?

THANK YOU <3. I hate if my teammates or the survs, that I played against are like this. If they go to far in what they write I m reporting them (like End your life or so). I think I encounterd like 30 Players, that where that extrem and players that just wrote 'ez' I cant count anymore.

As you said problem is, that most of them dont see the killer as a normal guy, that just play the game or they just what to be a .......

I normaly feel bad for the killers, if they lose very hard, but how couldnt I as an killer main, but sometimes the killer is one of those. I resondly played against two killers, where my whole team had so mutch fun in the riund, that we all sacreficed ourselfs and after that the killer was so entitled you wouldnt imagine it.

I think you should feel bad baised on what the killer/survivor write in the endgame chat. Dont give him an extra kill for me this would mean I played even worse, than I thought.

But again thank you for your care.

  • YOu cant always know if its an SWF. At the moment I get very good survivors on both sides. If I play solo I ve gotten may very good teamates, that arent in a group. As killer I know if I face a SWF, because the try to safe more, or have the exact same Perks/Playstyles, but I also have seen many Survivors, that where not in an SWF and played very well.

  • @GHOSTfaceP3 said:

Seriously, how do you expect people to be altruistic in solo survivor? Nerfing healing into oblivion for solo survivors was a horrible decision, make it 50% or a lil higher bc right now it's in a horrible spot

the selfcare time should be like 45s, because self healing is very powerful, if usesed right. My math is like that:

healing takes 16s so if you get healt you and your mate use 32s so Selfcare need to be always higher than 32s. If you selfheal, you are the only one who uses that time, while the others can do things, than the Perk has no limit for full heals so they need to add some time so 13s seams like a solid number. So 45s for a Perk like Selfcare is totaly understandeble.

Yes if Sloppy is in play it takes to long, but than you shouldnt use it anyway.

  • Red if its 25min and after 25min blue

As a killer main, I get about 100k BP per match. I always have a tome challenge going, and can typically clear one in 1-2 matches, and the same for dailies. So I'm constantly hitting the BP cap, and when there's a big announcement about BP (like today's Prime Gaming announcement of 400k free BP) I couldn't care less.

Meanwhile, when I switch to survivor, I'm scratching my head at how little BP I get; survivor dailies are often "get chased for 120 seconds", which takes me 3-4 matches to finish, or "escape" which again happens maybe 1 out of 4 matches, and meanwhile the base BP I get for a match is WAY lower. Tome challenges also typically take me 3+ matches to complete. So I totally understand why survivor mains talk about being constantly starved for BP.

Why is this so disparate, though? Killers get WAY too much BP, and survivors get WAY too little.

The more BP for KIllers is because as killer you get BP in multible Categories at the same time. One Chase BPs for finding a surv (hunting Category), than chasing surv (hunting), useing power in chase (Deviousness), hitting survivor (Brutality and hunting) hocking survivor (Sacrefice). As Survivor you can only do these categorys one by one and if you only doing one thing the whole round you only get in one category something.

I think they should remove the caps, for objectiv and getting chased so you can get more points even if you got chased the whole round.

I don’t really see many people having discussions about Carmina. I’ve loved her since she came out and she’s currently my favorite killer to play as and against, yet she is one of the more rare killers in the game.

From what I’ve seen, she’s not exactly a fan favorite in the community. There are killers that are far more hated but she’s still not universally loved.

So this leads me to the question, what does everyone think of her? Does she need buffs, nerfs, rework? Is she fine as is?

She is fun to play if you snipe across the map, but if survs are smart the go in lockers and than you need to chase them nomaly and normal chasing with 'blocking' loop paths is borring for both sides. (because the counter is run away)

  • @MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:

It's clear her power is so busted and there is no fair counters against her.

They can nerf her for million times but nothing will change.

They can take her all add-ons but nothing will change.

They can make her perkless killer to play but nothing will change.

Because this killer is ignoring everything core game has. No respect to pallets, ignore walls, make vaults unsafe. And ofcourse insane map mobility as well.

You nerfed Dead Hard to ground because obviously it was so op. But yet this killer is still in game after years. I think op things deserves to be nerfed only if survivors has it.

    If they change her they:

    1. cant say dbd isnt pay to win, because the best killer isnt free.
    2. need to buff all other killers, because there is no counter agument against an good swf anymore
    3. need to put time in something that doesnt earn money
    4. they need to think about a new power and addons
    5. they cant deffend they bad map design anymore

They probebly will not change her and to be honest I dont have a problem with her. Its another playstyle to play against.

  • @Dogma_loki said:

If you're going to start nerfing perks basely solely based on pick rates than the same goes for killer mains.

I cannot wait to see all the man tears from the entitled killer base on the forums when all their favorite OP perks get flushed down the toilet.

    😂

Like they did in the past, where the whole killer meta got destroyed and only one survivor perk got nerft. While the survivor mains cryed mutch more about that. Also Killer Perks need to be stronger than survivor perks, because one Killer perk would need to counter four survivor perks.

  • @GolbezGarlandGabrant said:

If pickrate is a valid reason to nerf then do you think Wesker should be nerfed by that logic?

Wesker has a pickrate of 10% WoO has 33% and Wesker is played so often, because he is very fun to play and play against, also there are very many fans from Resedent Evil that play dbd only, because of Wesker.

Also Wesker takes skill to play and WoO takes the skill away.
