true. its just because the perk isnt about 'learning' anymore. This Perk means EZ chases

you mean the perk that shows you how windows and pallets spawn in a map doesn't teach you how the map works so you eventually stop wasting the perk slot with it?
weird take but ok
No I would say like min 90% of the WoO usesers dont try to lern anything, they can just see everything and only need to run to the loops. It takes the skill componant out of playing survivor. If you nerf WoO all users of this perk wouldnt last 15 seconds in chase.

It's a stupid rule.
Standing by it.
No its not. This rule exits in every comp game for a reson. To stop unknown bug abuses on the new Charakters. Even if on Player has figured out a bug for a new Charakter and he/she dont play comp its still reson enough to let new Charakters looked.

League of Legends has some of the most aggressive balancing I've seen and they still nerf things that only are affecting the lower-end of solo-queue, a direct balance around casuals.
You cant compair these games LoL is very easy to Balance compair to dbd. Lol is 5v5 dbd is 1v4

Game sense, dealing with god loops and main structures, tracking, knowing when to leave hook, etc… I don’t think playing killer is super hard, but it’s rocket science compared to survivor gameplay.
True as Survivor you just need to have in mind what gens need to be done and where you can run next.

I swear a lot of you would not survive back in the way early days of DBD when infinites were a thing. Killer is so easy these days while solo survivor is just miserable. What else do you want?
Yes they existed, but most Survivor didnt know them or simply hides most of the time. Yes if these old infinites would come back in the dbd today. The game would be unplayable. Old dbd was basicly another game. It was hide and seek not Survivor loop Killer.

Which Survivor would make a powerful killer? and why?
In my opinion, I would have liked Mikaela to be a killer; she could have been a powerful witch who gains new abilities using various elixirs.
Let's Talk
Charakterwhise Yun Jin could be a killer she is such a ....... If you look at the Charakter!
And the true Survivor Killer is a Claudette running Selfcare. This perks allone can be the reson for a lost. Also Claudette kills others, if she uses her stealth all the time.
-
I am not hyped. For me the Lizenz arent Import. I care only about the power and the perks, because these are thinks that make the differenz and if its well made Im happy.😁
-
I am also a Killer main and I have to say I mostly have more fun as Survivor. As stupid as it sounds. The reson is as Killer I need to sweat mutch more and Killer is very stressfull. As Survivor I can relax while doing a gen. I dont see it as borring. I use the time on the gens to think whats going on in the round. By thinking of the Positions of the other Survivors I can say what pallets got dropped, which gens I need to focus etc. This helps when I get chased later, because I can run him longer and at better spots. Also what would you do instead of gens. Your mate try to get time for you to do gens, to get progress. Yes you could run behind the killer try to get chased, but this is just stupid, because 1. You dont get Progress in the round. 2. Someone needs to do gens. 3. You wouldnt want, that someone steals the chase from you if you get chased. 4. Most likely you are going to interupt the concentration of your mate.
Thats the long answer. The short one is switch your Perks and bring your team forward.
Have Fun and if you play against me. Dont loop me to well. 😁

Yh but this is a rule compared to a law, they are not gonna face jail time lol. Yes they broke a rule but I am just making the point that it probably slipped their mind. Regardless of that it does not also erase the fact that this should not be a rule to begin with since what advantage does playing Nicolas cage actually give them? lol
Yes there is no problem with nic, but what if another new survivor has sound bugs and not many know about them. In a tournement this would be freaking bad. This rule is important and need to stay.

Nic Cage is one of the loudest Survivors
Did you read my second point? Even if there is no bug or something with Nic some new survs can have some, the rule is important and everyone can read the rules so it was a mistake made by Ethernal. Also if there would be an other not so popular team no one would care about that.

No but this post is about three genning not SM. SM can hold a three gen very well, because her power is very very bad designd.
3 genning is a strategy, that is made possable from the survivors, because they havent played smart. The only exeption is SM so rework her and nothing else.

True the best anti three gen Perk got buffed and still complaining. Three gening is something the Survivors need to play around from the begining of the match.

The bots need to be weak, because the average solo mate is bad and why do you blame the bots. Even if the bots do half of a gen this is more the dced Survivor would habe done.

Team Eternal was disqualified from the Community Cup #8.
In a matchup of Team Eternal VS Wraith, Team Eternal managed to get all 4 Survivors to escape with basically no issues whatsoever. After the match, the Wraith reported Team Eternal to an admin of the tournament, and they were disqualified for breaking the rules. What rules did they break?
Tournament Restrictions
- Anytime a new Killer, Survivor, Perk, or Item is added to the game, they are unable to used in the tournament for 2 weeks from the release date of the Community Cup. This rule exists to give people more time to learn new content that is was added.
According to KnightLight, and other screenshots that were provided. A member of Team Eternal was using Nicolas Cage during the tournament. Keep in mind, they were NOT using Nic Cage's perks, only the Survivor itself.
I personally think this dumb.
Obviously playing with newly released perks is an issue, but this is just the Survivor itself, which is basically just cosmetic and nothing more/less. It is not like the Killer has to learn how to play against Nicolas Cage (the Survivor itself) when they fundamentally work the same as an other Survivor you can pick.
This ruling should be reconsidered and should be looked at since I currently think it will only be used by petty players in a malicious way.
No this rule has a reson why it exists and should stay everyone can read so it shouldnt be a Problem.

Yeh, tbf though I don't think they even knew they were breaking it and it sucks cuz it was for no advantage either since it is just a skin.
They can read so this isnt an excuse.
In RL its the same. Not knowing is not an excuse. If it would be one you could steal what ever you want without getting arestted
-
@Pulsar said:
Yeah, that's a dumb rule.
They should change it. Survivors are skins, makes no sense.
Also, the Wraith seems absolutely uber salty, tbh.
Yes the Wraith was salty, but Survivors arent just skins. The Survivors are different in how loud they are. For Example if you play against Steve you can hear him very well, when he is injured. An Ace you would heal at all.
Also new Survivors can have Soundbugs and the rule prevent the abuse of this. (Even if no one abuse something in this Situation).

You can't use nightlight to extrapolate for general stats.
I don't mind it for personal stats, as I understand it is a compiler, but for general playerbase stats it has too many issues to be used.
But you also cant use the stats from like 8 Months ago. Of course Nightlight isnt 100% accurate, but I think overall better then the original from last year

@LUSHEPPARD said:
Killers are way to overpowered compared to the old days. Most of them have a big a f hit box, nearly every perk includes locking all windows or palettes, seeing the survivors aura like every second. Boba’s Chainsaw attack is like 20 seconds, and all killers do get special powers to actually one hit you. DBD really turned wayyyyy to pro-killer sided
So first of all you shouldnt compare killer poweres to old days, because you shouldnt look only to one side. SUrvivors today also have changed massivly throughout the years. If Killers would be designed like the did in the early days the Killrate would be 20% and looking to Perks the survivors have totaly the upperhand. Windows, Made for this....
I think at the moment 60% of the killers needs a buff, rework, Addon changes etc.
-
@Jacho said:
I'm surviving at almost no game (certainly a 20% or less but I didn't count) and want to know if other people survive more
Because the killer should still have 60% kills, or perhaps it changed
(This is a question but I'm searching for lots of opinions and not one answer so perhaps I should've called that a discussion)
I wouldnt look at these old stats. Everyone still says its 60% killrate, but these are old stats. I look at Nightlight for stats and my stats as survivor say I escape 57,5% of my games and have a Killrate of 87,68%, but if you look at the overall stats the Killrate is at 52,2%.
So to answer your question. Yes I do Escape 40% or more of the games.

The build I was running was: We'll Make it, Desperate Measures, Windows of Opportunity, and Botany Knowledge. I didn't get any value from that build whatsoever because the game was hectic. I also had a yellow flashlight which I never used. Out of the entire team, apart from the survivor getting tunneled, I sat on gens the least because I was either getting chased or cleansing Pentimento after Playthings were cleansed. He saw me finish the last gen and assumed I was gen-rushing for whatever reason. I completed the last gen with Pentimento active since his gen pressure was pretty bad. Funny thing is that no one in our team even had toolboxes.
Gen-rushing has really lost the meaning behind it and it's commonly used to excuse bad gameplay now.
You dont need Perks or Items to "Genrush". Genrush for me means the game is like 5 min long. (But I never it Genrushing as funny as that is). I dont think genrushing is toxic or even something you should care about. Is completting the objective as survivor like tunneling is for killers.
-
Youre 100% right. I feel the same way. I mostly play pig, Legion and killers like that and after this perk comes like it is at live servers I played like 50 killer games and now I have decided to dont play killer again while this perk exsists. Against Pig, Legion etc this perk is too strong and a real pain.
On the otherside as survivor MFT feels rlly good. Distance you wouldnt have made before are now reachable on the right map you are nearly uncatchable.

I got a question so i can better understand that post. Given about the same skill, how long should the average chase between a killer and a survivor go, in your opinion?

He would finish this game with 3K but he greeded at end game. So this ended with 2 escape. But he would 4K easily if he had any of gen perks.
Why this killer is allowing to do this? Why Blight is never getting any nerfs, only love?
Its not the Killer sometimes. A perkless Trapper for example can still get 4ks cause to Survivor mistakes. For that reson people use Windows of Oppertuneties its like an ez chase perk and reduces the need for thinking very mutch.

You lost me at the title. It may be really powerful to have the 3% (despite me not having any issues playing against someone who has it as a LEGION MAIN) but comparing it to old dead hard years ago is mental. If Made For This is going to need the speed removed, it should be focused on protecting teammates and be active even when healthy. Powerful enough to counter instadown killers but not broken with the movement speed.
Yeah the title is a little Bit missleading sry for that. My point is that MFT is unhealthy for the game, because its mostly punishes weaker killers. Legion is the best example for that.
I would like a Perk to protect your teammates. Team play is the key to win as Survivor even if most of them doesnt play in a team.

I'm just saying in a perfect scenario to 'fix' toxic killers.
Yeah, but you rlly cant fix toxic behavior. Under Toxic behavior I would understsnd hitting on hook and 4 man bleedout (if the team isnt a four man sabo boil over squad). As Survivor I would say sandbagging teammates, teabagging in the exit gate and using a macro and flashlight klicking. That would be in Game and this never stops cause people how want to be dickheads will act like one. For toxic behavior away from the game would be harrasment in the endgame chat and for this toxic behavior we can do something. Report the players that do this and move on and maybe some day we have a great community.
Exapt the "fight" between Killer and Survivor players. (Whitch wouldnt be there if everyone would play both sides) 😑
But yeah we cant fix that so I hope your rounds get better and you have some fun. 😁

Only when playing fair as a killer is balanced and encouraged to do as well.
And not in a 'survivor has the advantage' or 'killer requires 4k's' balanced, and DEFINITELY not with broken perks.
The anticamp idea is a decent step, but we'd have to see how it effects killers who don't camp.
I would disagree. As Killer you cant go for 10 to 12 hooks every game, because your Survivors Teams will be very differend from each other. Where you had everyone first hook in the first game at 3 gens could the next game be one hook at 2 gens.
You cant expect the killer AND the Survivors playing nice from what i ve seen the Killer players where mostly more kind as the Survivors gameplaywhise.

- Weren’t killers just complaining that survivors heal too much. Isn’t survivors being injured what you want.
- 15 secs is nothing which is why bloodlust kicks in nearly every chase. If you get a hit before this then even better.
- It still helps against stronger killers.
- Yes it does, I was saying so does bloodlust
- It is very common in games especially when the killer isn’t the best. Why should they get so much help when being outplayed
- True, but at the moment I see just gen rush and staing injured, because of MFT.
- In my chases as Killer I would say bloodlust kicks in in like 5% and even if the chase is longer than 15 or 30 seconds long no bloodlust, because of game end chase, pallet break etc. As survivor I never see killers bloodlusting at all.
- Only Nurse, but Blight, Spirit, Oni ... dont care at all.
- Bloodlust doesnt reward outplaying. Bloodlust gives weaker killer (not weaker players) a chance in some loops.
- Weaker killers need help overwise they wouldnt be weak. And you say "so mutch help" I looked over my recorded killer games today like 30 games and I have reach Bloodlust 1 nine times, Bloodlust 2 one time and Bloodlust 3 never. How often did MFT progs in these 30 games? 241 times.

Survivors can get good perks, but MFT and CoH are and were complettly overpowert. After CoH release you could play legion and you could be in Frenze for infinit minutes because you can heal faster that the killer can hit, but it was totally fair Right. Also every time the dev want to make changes the killer perks get stomped while the survivor perks are still playable. Like CoB, Overcharge, Ruin are basicly dead and DH, CoH, BK are still very good perks

- MFT is only when injured.
- 15 seconds is nothing, it always kicks in pretty much every chase. If not then ur hits are lasting less that 15 seconds which means it should be an easy 4K.
- MFT is designed to beat stronger killers.
- Bloodlust rewards for being outplayed
- Bloodlust had much higher speeds than MFT
See I can list things too that make bloodlust sound #########.
Theyre either both fine or both need to go.
- Youre nearly the entire round injured so its not a point
- 15 seconds is mutch in dbd, because 15 seconds in chase are 45 seconds on a gen so half a gen.
- No a speed blight doesnt care at all if you are faster a pig will have a misrable time. Its designt to destroy M1 Killers not Top Tier Killers
- You could say MFT rewards you for being bad, because you got hit
- You never reach the higher speeds, because the game ends the chase allways.
Your points doesnt make sence at all. Bloodlust is designd to help weaker killers MFT is designd to destroy weaker killers.
Bloodlust was removed ones. Guess what happends weaker killers doesnt had a chance against good looper at all.
Im fine if bloodlust gets removed, but what need to happen before are maps and buffs to Trapper, Pig, Myers, Freddy etc. or a nerf to the common tiles, main building GoJ, main Swamp etc.

I mostly used that icon because Legion was originally my favorite. I play Slinger atm.
And yeah, Legion will kinda struggle, but that's the case for any M1 who has to play the M1 looping game. They need to run Bamboozle to deal with good loopers who don't allow red stain mindgames to even have a chance of confusing them, as Survivors can position themselves at every loop so they always win every interaction (EVERY loop has 1 of these positions), this has been the case since the beginning of DBD.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3456311#Comment_3456311
You can try actually doing red stain mindgames, running Bamboozle (which is mandatory on M1 Killers anyways to deal with good loopers, don't try to ignore this and go "I SHOULDNT HAVE TO RUN A PERK-" no you KNOW what I mean)
- M1s have weak anti-loop, but not none. The first 4 have ways to interact with loops slightly, Legion and Onryo are the only true M1s. Knight and SM can use their powers, and SM can use insta-downs or insta pallet breaks to force hits (although she needs Bamboozle imo)
- Uh, Freddy and Doctor can do both? Freddy has dream pallets and you position snares around loops, not next to pallets.
- Slinger can shoot through cracks, Huntress can throw over objects, and Trickster is awful anyways???
And LMAO, Slinger having great 1v1 (and the ability to counter Haste people by just shooting over and through objects lmao) and Huntress being ######### god, yet being "weak" is hilarious.
This is the average reasoning + misinformation of DBD forums posters and DBD fearmongers rolled into one, and this is EXACTLY why the devs didn't listen on MTF; they knew you all were overreacting, as usual.
So the first 4 with "slightly anti loop":
- Pig Dash get countert by run away and speed perks like MFT, whitch turns the pig into a M1 only killer.
- Trapper get countert by run away and MFT giving speed can deny the hit because of mutch more distance, that leads to another loop
- Myers has a bigger lunch + survivor has more speed = M1 Killer
- Ghost Face has more mindgames true, but most GF Players dont go nightshroud if the survivor is already injured.
So now to Knight and SM. You say the Knight can use his power. Do you know how his power get counterd? By out run them and with MFT this means out Speed them. Means Knight = M1 Killer
SM i think we all can agree her "Instadown" is totally trash so the counter to her is run away = M1 only Killer
Freddys dream pallets are trash against more than 10 IQ players so I dont say any arguement there.
Doctor shocks and shocks and schocks while slightly catching up. What can we say about this playstyle?
- Every Shock slows the Doctor down.
- while shocking and looping the Doctor is only slightly faster than the survivors
- He cant get Bloodlust, because he uses his power
So know what happends if the suvivor is 3% faster?
The Doctor has no anti loop anymore.
If the Slinger and the huntress can shot/throw over the loop the survivor looping was very stupid to loop there, but if he/she was smart he/she would just run to a rock and run around forever.
Yes Huntress isnt weak I just forgot to write it under all of this. This was why I wrote NEARLY ALL ARE WEAK.
And now to you commant to misinformation. Not thinking about every killer vs MFT and try to argue against someone is kinda misinformation. I put the killers in four catecories, because I thought everynoe would be smart enough to think by themself. Sry that I thought you are smarter.

What about a mechanic that gives 5% haste after 15 secs. By the time a survivor gets to a loop and does one loop bloodlust pretty much kicks in. If mft is a problem then so is bloodlust.
You cant compair MFT to bloodlust, because:
- Bloodlust is gone after a Hit, by breaking actions, by using your power or by ending the chase (whitch often happends mid chase)
- Bloodlust needs min 15 seconds to prog
- Bloodlust is design to help weaker killer
- If a killer needs bloodlust to down he/she will probebly lose, because of the time the survivors get by the killer building up bloodlust
So lets look at MFT
- Get Speed if injured

I understand the point, I just disagree with it - and I don't think even what you're describing is half as broken as Dead Hard used to be. It's a bad comparison.
Yes DH was stronger than MFT, but DH was bad for every Killer, but MFT hurts the weaker Killers very hard and the Top Tier Killers very less. This means the perk is very unhealthy for the game. MFT is not worse than DH in terms of strength but worse in terms of balancing and healthy gameplay.

3% boost during the game (before endgame and hope) and ignoring it's use with other haste perks, you aren't uncatchable. Even with these perks being used together you aren't uncatchable, bloodlust exists and the killer will be fast enough to catch you. I do agree that maybe it shouldn't stack with other haste perks, with 3% by itself while injured I personally think is absolutely fine and does not need to be nerfed. Strong perks exist and this is a strong perk, but not busted. Hate to see perks that are strong but not busted get nerfed because too many people complain about it. I thought we wanted a meta shift? Can we not get new strong perks for both sides without people complaining? I hope bhvr does not listen to this loud minority of players blasting this perk and do not nerf the main aspect of the perk, being 3% haste while injured. They could remove the endurance, the could remove it being able to stack with other haste perks, idrc.
If you arent uncatchable with this perk its a skill issue sry. This perk is totaly busted, because the effect is too strong to be obtained in such a simple way. Nearly no restriktions that rlly matter.

No joke with their decisions lately I really dont think they do.
They think trapper is just fine in their ama... enough said.
They also said in their ama something like theyve had new staff. Explains a lot.
This perk combo is like a constant exhaustion perk. Its the first time ive ever not felt the need to run one.
True. 😄
I love the Survivors that say:"YOU NEED TO RUN ONE EXHAUSTION PERK OR YOU WILL LOSE!" No you not. My favoried build is: Any Means, Aftercare, Fogwise and Guardian. I win rlly often with this so clearly we needed a new speed perk for Survivors.
