The counter to DS is to go after someone else
-
Can the new survivor be J Jonah Jameason?
-
Why is the killer brought to us by THX?
Not played as him but against him is terrifying. The shape, the pig, carbon monoxide all the silent killers make me soil my pant.
-
Not super long but longer then they were
-
So I play on xbox as leather face with iron grasp, agitation, insidious, and NOED. No addons or offerings.
So you intentionally pick a build and play in such a way to be toxic. You make sure you don't rank up so you can continue to bully new people and people not great at the game. You are a prime example of everything of everything wrong in this community. I hope the devs read this post about your boasting and stamp out this kind of toxicity
-
Here's a tip "stop running immediately at a nurse hooking people in the basement and if you escape leave, don't hang around bleeding and moaning all over the place"
-
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/530/GEIW8TIV0QVT.png And why not apply the same logic to the killer?
Getting bloodpoints as a survivor is a chore. You have4 people fighting for a limited amount of bloodpoints

With Bill, will we as well get the Zoey/Francis/Ellis/Rochelle cosmetics for Meg/Jake/Dwight/Claudette, or the handprint tees?
I've been wondering that myself

Yep. I feel you. I am about a month or 1 from all survivors P3/all perks. This just wastes my time.
It sucks being a completionist.
I don't get all perks, as soon as i hit p3 i move on so none of my P3 people will have it.
-
Great it stays for people, not for me since when i reset to get the last bloody clothing item at P3 and start again on a brand new character

It's good that perk protects you from being tunnelled but if I go to the other side of the map, hook someone, go back, find a survivor and still get DS'ed, it doesn't feel quite right.
Can't say i've ever had that problem, but i will either ignore or slug the person fresh off the hook if i run into them too quickly
-
If people didn't use looping to waste the killers time so that the other survivors could gen rush not every killer would need to use ruin. Games could be longer, more fun could be had and camping and tunnelling would be less common place.
-
I do miss the good old days of DS where you could make your life easier by going after the obsession and watching them dc the second they go down after using up their DS. I do think it's better as they can use it to protect themselves from tunnelling.
-
Yesterday i got to hatches from crawling, the first one the killer let me crawl in. I think he didn't realise that hatch grabs have been removed because he swung at me when i jumped in. The second time the killer was slugging and he zigged when he should of zagged and just missed me crawling away into the tall grass. Luckily the hatch was close by and in the opposite direction the killer went.
-
I can't watch the vid but i assume he was hit with a pallet while carrying someone but didn't drop them.
-
I don't if this has been mentioned but why is ghostface not a scream killer?
-
That's stupid that's person not using a obsession perk can be the obsession. If you don't want the killer targeting you don't use obsession perks. Wasn't the whole point that you get a bonus with the perk at the expense of being a target.
-
I'm stuck at yellow because it's hard as F to rank up.
-
Depends on the last person/the group if i'll give them the hatch, good players get it toxic ones don't
-
You are aware that the ping is higher when you join and if you wait a little it will revert to what it actually is
-
I tend to use 1,2,3,4 & 5 based on my enjoyment. I can have an easy win but little enjoyment so i give that a 2. I had a game against the pig where everyone wiped that was a 4. Would of been a 5 but one of the survivors body blocked me so the killer would attack and chase me. The killer went for them instead and then got me last
-
Camping is not consider toxic but how can it not be toxic when you spawn next to the killer in a area with no pallets or vaults so you get downed and camped out of the game in less time then it took to find the match in the first place
-
"Did you have fun?" I wish the answer wasn't a hard no so often.
-
I don't have a main i keep switching after getting 1 to P3. So far i've done nurse, hillbilly, wraith, trapper, cannibal & and i am working on the shape
-
I was just wondering why can i not see my down votes

The biggest jump scare I ever got was when I opened a locker to restock hatchets - and a Quentin was inside. Those bug eyes suddenly staring into mine as my hand reached out and grabbed him, instead of a hatchet.
I think I dumped him on the ground and ran away.
I've had that to "just going to go into this locker and restock my hatc... JESUS CHRIST! there's a person in there"
-
I use to play the nurse and survivors kept running to multifloor areas so i couldn't keep up during a chase or fall through the floor trying to blink. I know they've fixed that now but i've moved on.
-
Both can be hard in my opinion, as a survivor i have a hard time dealing with bad random team mates, a really hard system for earning bloodpoints and a large number of killers that are happy to just camp 1 survivor.
As a killer i have to worry survivor toxicity, exploits being used and games that last 5 minutes.
Before people gang up on me i know both sides use exploits i just see it way more on one side, like 95% to 5% split. I still see people who attempt sprint burst off of high places to try land on objects they're not meant to get on.

It is under powered, and not used anymore.
Survivors will DC and find other games to spend their time in until some fun perks are back i think.
Doesn't change the fact that it was still broken and needed changing. It might be underpowered but there are still plenty of decent perks. I can have fun as a survivor without using MoM. I can now have fun as a killer as well now that every survivor isn't using a broken overpowered perk.
-
@jeyers said:
Until devs make survivor fun again to play this issue will never go away. (Bring back MoM)
You still have MoM it's just not broken and overpowered. Can't say if it's under powered because i don't have it.
-
Had a game yesterday where 2 people DC as soon as they loaded in and saw the name of the map. Luckily the killer actually made the time we spent waiting for the game worth it by having us all do a little bit of farming. It would of been better to have had a proper game but at least the offering and item didn't go to waste on a game with little to no play time and points because 2 people didn't like the level
-
From a lore point of view the little background information that has cropped up in recent characters kind of suggests they have died.
-
Just walking around as a killer and having a survivor burst out of a locker because they thought you saw them go in there can be a funny jump scare.

That was the point, he was staring at Premonition not going off and didn't see the Myers standing there
I thought he meant he saw it light up first and thought "who is it", not waiting to see if it lights up and then having myers attack.
-
Isn't myers suppose to be immune to detection perks at tier 1
-
Are adept trophies not tied to getting 4 kills in a single game anymore?
-
My very first pick was jake because i had a daily objective with him. I have since got jake, meg, dwight, claudette & feng to P3
-
I do love moments of terror like that in the game. Not a case of mistaken identity but swinging the camera around while working on a gen to see around a corner and seeing the shape about to round the coner gave me a big scare
-
Lower ranks see a lot of tunnelling and camping from killers so they might need those safe pallets more then then the higher ranks not needing them. Nothing is more likely to drive away players then being camped out of the game after really long match making times and not a whole lot of game time. Also how do you balance around people who purposely de-rank to bully new people.
-
Alright, I am at Rank 3 right now. I am currently in a game with a glitched out Claudette, she cannot die. I have been in this game for roughly an hour.
Was the other player able to leave through the exit gate after they glitch out?
-
I don't really use borrowed time now to know what it's like, i just know they nerfed it and it didn't need nerfing if you didn't camp
-
Bring back old borrowed time, as a killer i never had a problem with. I also didn't complain about DS but i do like that you have be to hooked at least once to use it now

I would leave camping out of this because it's a losing strategy.
OK for a complete rework, I simply think every survivor should go for a chase with the killer each game, long nice games with two hooks each and no toxic bs like looping or tunnelling, insta heals or mori.
Basically undo the toxicity completely, undo the trash that ochido and noob3 brought in
Make it so you can't camp on the first hook, 15 min wait then immediately camped to death because of bad luck is cruel. I've never had too much trouble with mori's or insta heals

Tunneling must also go, like a 60 seconds entity immunity, which expires if you start doing another gen, unhook a survivor etc
With looping gone, tunneling must go.
Camping, tunnelling or looping don't have to go they just need to be rework so they can't be abused to be game breaking or toxic.
Camping someone to death in like 90 seconds at the beginning because they were unlucky enough to start right next to the killer vs camping a hook once all gens are done.
Tunnelling the person recently off the hook when the other 3 are right there vs tunnelling someone who has opted in for an aggressive play style.
Looping a few times to find the perfect time to drop the pallet and break away to hide vs going to a place where you know it's physically impossible for the killer to catch and refusing to leave.
There are legit strategy to all 3 if people don't abuse the mechanic they have. Otherwise the only other option is complete removal from the game.
-
Stealth playing isn't really rewarded in this game, but i'd rather lose to good survivors being stealthy then lose to those who abuse how broken looping can be.
-
Well until the uk government stops screwing over people with disabilities i won't be able to afford him.
-
I tried using my shards to buy GF only to find there is no option to purchase him that way, is that intentional?
