Mad cause bad. Git Gud.

I agree and they should add those changes you mentioned.
Also, just a question: How were you not able to hook anyone? I despise this map because it's just a big maze, but even if the hooks spawns are terrible I always managed to atleast barely hook someone. Were they very altruistic or something?
Boil over

Divide the map into 2. West wing and east wind, reduce some of the God Pallets and infinites and the map would be fine imo. Also DC, cringe
I wouldn't have dced but I could not do anything. It was the start and I couldn't get survivors to a hook twice just enought to make too many mistakes to win. I handed them their already earned win

I'm ready for entitled survs to complain, killers to agree, and whatever else may come along. Post what you want!

you should probably just quit while your ahead if a teabbag or click hurts your feelings
Let me ask. Why do you teabag? Is it beneficial to you? No. Not at all. There's no point in defending it. Your points aren't constructive at all.
-
Its not respectful to show toxicity in a virtual game. It's a bad influence on new players and only adds fuel to the fire. The game has a chance for a bright future this year, a good start to that would be lessening the bm for qaulity of life.

You think this stuff is “toxic”? Might need to acknowledge it’s a video game…and has nothing to do with real life.
Only you can be accountable for feeling triggered by something in a video game, and if that’s the case, just don’t play it.
But if there is no point in it, why not get rid of it altogether. I have had problems with my ears fir a good 30 minutes after a match because of macros clicking. The same philosophy you have can be acknowledged with toxicity. Touch some grass, it's a video game. That how its been since a long time ago. When a survivor wants to out the cherry on top of the meta cake with teabags and annoying flashlight sounds, not only is it frustrating for the player, but headphone users on a game relying on sound as well as skill will have some trouble. If you feel toxic, play another game, calm down , and come back. The killer did nothing to hurt you or be rude to you, why be rude to them?
-
There needs to be things done to prevent it. I can't say anything for egc when 5hey ban weird words ( the damn letter t was banned?)

@Kurri said:
Is teabagging and flashlights that big of a problem? That wastes time. Wouldn't it better to focus on the end game chat, and other stressful aspects of playing Killer. If Killer wasn't so stressful to play in the first place, would so many even be bothered by teabagging and flashlight clicking? Actions like that are in all online games, the added stress is not.
Yes it is , survivors can click and flash when they want, how they want. Egc is not on my platform so I cannot say anything about it . It's not fun to chase a survivor only to get squats and clicks out of it.

Forgot to put that

I didn't lose anything.
If you logged on before it was fixed , there was the possibility of your save messing up.

I'm not sure about this. Being in dying state and trying to crawl away to hide or be healed is a legit survivor tactic. Built in whispers would destroy the concept of glorified hide and seek by giving the killer too much of a permanent and constant hunting advantage, thus unbalanced survivor abilities to hide when killer is nearby.
I think it makes more sense and is more fair to survivors if they stop afk crows from spawning when a killer is nearby and hasn't left the area the survivor is hiding in for prolonged amount of time.
I am a killer main but have played survivor a lot for tomes as well. This is a constant issue for me as survivor. Terror radius alert, run hide in closet, killer runs circles nearby searching and won't leave area. They probably have whispers perk. I stay in closet cuz if I leave I'm dead. Afk crows spawn in like only 1 minute... not cool.
But there needs to be a way to prevent survivors pushing the limits on hiding. It's not very fun to look fir survivors and by the time you find one the gates are powered . There'd have to be some balancing around it , but deerstalker would be fine at 15 meters or close around it .
-
While buffs to deerstalker would be nice , other perks still would shade it out. It would be nice to have a counter to survivors being too stealthy.
-
@Viamont said:
as in part of all killers basic skills or merge both in a single perk?
If the first option i tink it would be interesting, for the most part ALL killers on fiction tend to have some form of supernatural way to find the people around, so it doesnt sound far fetched, on the other hand being able to se the auras of downed survivors in a few meters away from you should be a must, plenty of times they just literally crawl to weird places and almost become invisible, the first person camera doesnt help.
If the first was implemented i could se wispers have around 24 meters wich sound more than fair, while deerstalker being 24 to imts more than enought, heck i would go for 12 and i would still find it super usefull.
If the second idea its implemented, i feel they would need a slight buff, mechanically speaking wispers its usefull but demands a lot from the player, instead i would make it so wispers have a literal proximity inbuilt mechanic, making so the wispers become louder and louder the closer you are to the survivor, that would make it a far more usefull perk. Deerstalker if merged with wispers could have its range reduced a bit just to compensate for the merging and upgread to wispers
As in , built in to all killers. Crows don't help because survivors can run in the same place and keep hiding. And , I main doctor , but what makes him so special about it? Holding the game hostage by hiding for 10 minutes is not fair or fun. (Replying to multiple messages )

Not to mention, there can also be a place for ranked and casual mode.

I feel like the amount of Hex perks is getting ridiculous and there are a few that really shouldn't be Hex perks or it should be more difficult for survivors to find them. I mean anyone who has been playing this game for a few hundred hours (maybe even less depending on your memory) should already know the most common totem locations. Therefore, making it pretty easy to find Hex totems.
Kinda would be nice to have general add ons or something that would allow killers to hide totems for a specific time frame or make it so the Hex totems look like regular totems. I don't know... I just feel like the whole Hex thing needs a rework, especially on certain maps where it seems like the Hexs always spawn in the exact same locations every time.
If they could conceal one , they'd just cleanse it in counter of NOED. Maybe hiding a hex altogether?
-
Hell , they could even add a separate version of the game like a ptb as an extra mode on live when they do it . That's ethical , successful, and beneficial. They can do way more with that.
-
There's really more benefit to using something in stead of a ptb .
-
The other stuff Is excess , just talking about it , and a simple suggestion. If they won't make beta tests instead of a platform exclusive test build , I don't know what they want to do

@DaWeezerd said:

If those Good Players have tons of items, addons and offerings ;
Then they're not using them. Having the ability to spend your BP to gain more is the point. And unless there is someone out there where they have P3 50 character with all max perks on every character both Survivor and Killer with the max # of items, add ons, and offerings, you can always spend your BP. Choosing to hold onto the million until the next chapter comes out is pointless because you can easily make 200k back in a couple matches. It just sounds like bad management of BP.
They are using them , they just have so much they could run 2 unique addons together and then the next uniquw pair for like 600 games.

But there is a point to spend them..... All the add-ons and offerings that aid your character? Something that costs a trivial amount when you can easily get those points back.
Good players have tons of items , addons and offerings ;
Spending more doesn't do much to a large number.
-
Then your not desperately searching for people to hit and extending the game to let them heal for more bp and emblem

Controller is different from pc because of how much longer it takes to level up the bloodweb because you have to drag the cursor around
I do feel like the bp gains should be increased, at the very least they should remove the 8k bp in a category and just cap all bp gains in a match to 32k instead
Yeah, replace category icons with the survivor logo. I like that.
-
It's really the exact same thing , so why take limits over qaulity of life? People are still playing, people are still buying outfits (hopefully not for long , #deadbyboycott) And people are still having a blast. I don't see Any problems .

There's nothing beneficial about saving up bp. There's no harm in more items addons or offerings, and its a negative to save them up as you wont earn any more because youll be at the 1mil cap.
If it went any higher than that, and you wanted to spend it all, it would take an irrational amount of time to do so. It would legit take hours to spend say 4 million bp on a controller for example.
There's just no reason for it, it's not beneficial and doesn't help which is why the cap is there. Get points, spend them, if you don't want to you can save up 1million to have on hand.
Controller Is not any different from pc. It's not " on controller ", it's generally.
Also 1 millions not a lot for 8 hours. I'd be fine with the cap if they increased bp gains per match, but with max 32k and on average 20k max, having no cap is only fair.

If somebody wants to save their bp they can, up to 1million. I understand the frustration of not being able to max out a character in 1 go but you have to understand how much more bp that would take, it would just take way too long to level up in 1 go at that point.
If you really want to level someone up in 1 go, youll max out your bp and save your archive challenges as thats basically an alternative to the bp cap.
1 million bp cap takes 8 hours of nonstop gameplay and the cap makes you stop and spend , or playing is pointless. Some people just want to save up bp fir when they don't bye anything to spend it on.
-
Not to mention, by the point bp becomes a hassle , you'd have the skill of a rank 10 , around that.
-
@MyNamePete said:
No, the bloodpoint cap is to encourage actually using them. There's no point in allowing you to "trade bp for shards," most people have thousands upon thousands of shards saved up or they spend them in the shrine for bloodpoints. Having to level up the bloodweb to unlock the teachable perks is to also encourage spending your bp and trying to earn a good score ingame to earn more bp.
I admit the grind is a lot for most people and maybe should be slighty reduced, but if you need a lot of bloodpoints, youll have to earn a lot in game which encourages you to play better, fairly, and to actually help out your team. It's for the best.
You shouldn't be forced to use your bp. If somebody wants to save their bp they can. Nobody wants to get somebody to level 30 with a million bp , they'd rather get to 50 in a single deposit. And people have way too many shards because they don't use them. Why should bp have that limitation ?
-
It's removing the terror radius from your game, not theirs.

Also I don't think their license holders agreed to have their characters modded so it was only a matter of time
But it doesn't affect anything. It's not causing any problems with licensing; it isn't a legitimate character in dbd.

They could've fixed the problem by adding custom skins for characters... sigh, good things never last in dbd .

I actually don't mind the cap, would like shard exchange but it'll never happen sadly, and I like leveling the abilities and don't want them to simply be tier 3 right away
Yes buy you have to dovthar on EVERY character, and if you prestige do it again. It takes at least 2500 hours to get everything for every character, and that's a big grind. It took me a year and a half to get near 1k, (currently 950) and I don't even get the perks on anybody but like one person if I'm lucky. It's an rng reliant system , over tons of characters, and over 3 prestige if you're a completionist, if that's what you want to call it. Some people may be fine with it , but there is more cons than pros.

@BubbaDredge said:
How does a person run out of things to spend bp on? I have all the perks unlocked, all my favorite killers are PIII+, but four times a year a new killer comes out, that's more perks to unlock then then buy for everyone.
And even when that's all done, don't you need to replenish your favorite add-ons? My Bubba doesn't use addons except for BP offerings, but I still have to burn webs to stock up. Bubba likes cakes and bloody party streamers.
Yeah, I guess I am spending lots of BP to get BP, but it gives me a reason to grind. When you get close to a mil, do some shopping.
You're not wrong, it is pointless.
It literally is pointless. You can grind to p3 50 someone instantly, there's no reason why the bp cap is there. They should remove the bp cap and let you trade in bloodpoints for shards, and shards should be able to teir up perks , and all teachables should be able to be unlocked with shards. Also , p3 is pointless , unless you want the bloody clothes. Why spend bp when you get to a million if all there is is addons and offerings ? After you get all the perks there isn't really a lot. There are plenty of reasons to lessen the grind , removing the bp cap doesn't make you take a long time to spend a million points and instead get more.

No attacking , no bashing , it just makes Me die inside

It took around 45 seconds
-
@MandyTalk I can't tell much of a difference, but I don't see any buffers or half a second freezes. The only freeze is the game loading in screen , before the intro screen. Hopefully this resolves loading into a game, that takes like a minute , maybe a minute and a half pre patch. I'm about to get into a game, let's see.
-
I'm gonna go swimming today but I will m be sure to check it when I get home, if you'd like, I can give feedback

Surprisingly, no DC penalty for the crash but I still suffered from double depip

I've also heard reports that calm spirit doesn't work

Either the new perks are bugged, or something in the game is causing it to work poorly.
