You queued up, so that's what you are agreeing to. If you don't want to play the full match don't start the game. This is how it works here and I, for one, think the rules should be more strict, not less. I feel that if anyone DCs the negative pip should be removed for everyone. That person should start at a one hour DC timer, then a one day timer, then a one week timer, then a one month timer, and then a one year timer for each offense and it should take 30 days of no DCs to reduce it by only one offense.
If you DC you are wasting other people's time, not just your own. Either stop doing that or go away. Also, if the killer DCing just gave the survivors their 'win' that doesn't account for everything else those survivors needed to do in that match. They could have a daily ritual, a tome challenge, a trophy/achievement that they are working on and had already put some of the work into these things but you selfishly want to leave...

I don't really know. The survey gave me hope of the possibility that they are considering new modes or new mechanics. These are things that could revitalize the game. Unfortunately I am a realist and can see these thing costing new money while also taking away time from making the game we love actually balanced, fair, and fun.

Working with the killer is a very specific thing, they have to be working together for it to be reportable.
A survivor running Bond where the killer is not actively working with them, but that survivor running the killer to another survivor to save themselves is not reportable - this is where the team game becomes less of a team game and more of an individual move.
Exactly how does a survivor work with the killer, then? Nobody has answered that without saying exactly that 'they lead the killer to the other survivors'... What's the difference? If a survivor running bond gets chased and leads the killer directly to another survivor over and over again, how is that not the very specific thing? What exactly is the very specific thing because not even you said what it was.
At the moment the number of people that are playing this outrageous way is so much, that many of us don't want to play survivor at all. It is the wrong move to support these bad actions and could you please bring that up with the team. We have to deal with hackers and gamebreaking bugs every other match, we shouldn't also have to fight our teammates.

I'm sorry you really don't seem to understand. In your example the killer is still hostile to the survivor. That's the key difference. If you can't get your head around the concept I don't know what to say.
So, in your example you think the killer can magically read the mind of the survivor and vice versa to communicate that they won't kill the other etc. That's just flat out stupid. All it takes to be, "Working with the Killer" is to purposefully lead the killer to the other survivors. That's it. Then you are by definition working with the killer, whether the killer gives you hatch or let's you go is always entirely up to the them and you cannot possibly know if you will be rewarded but you will DEFINITELY know that you cheated when your teammates report your stupid cheating actions and you get banned for it.

Sharing the killer's attention isn't the same thing as teaming with them. Running up to a locker someone is hiding in and pointing, or bodyblocking a teammate to purposely prevent them from escaping the killer are examples of teaming. Leading them to your general area, on accident or on purpose, isn't the same thing. I think thats the point they're trying to make.
Edit: Also that teaming takes actually working together, I.E the killer "rewarding" betraying their team. What you're describing sounds more like its akin to sandbagging and/or griefing (which can still easily be against the rules, like the above examples,) teaming would be more symbiotic/coordinated by comparison.
Using bond to lead the killer directly to another survivor to shake the killer off, is cheating, working with the killer, and if you are doing it you are a CHEATER.

Also, allow Michael to kill survivors in lockers.
Unfortunately I think that BHVR is avoiding fixing this because they don't want to touch his power or ability at all. If they were to make these changes they would probably also include changes to Michael's entire kit.

My son started using Calm Spirit because he was annoyed by the Knight's forced screaming ability. Right after he equipped it we faced three Doctors so he got a great deal of value out of it.
He hasn't used it since then. Knight is barely played and the same goes for his totem. For some unknown but very welcome reason we also haven't faced any Doctors lately either. Probably because everyone pulled out their nurses for rank reset.
You get four slots, and to put a perk that nerfs your speed into any of them gives you less value immediately. I agree that it shouldn't have the downside.

Ah yes, caps lock is the sign of a civil discussion.
And no, you're wrong. In the situation you describe, the killer is trying to the kill the first survivor but may decide to switch targets to one more out-of-position after being lead to other survivors. There is no 'working together', the killer is still hostile to the first survivor, the first survivor is simply hoping the killer will leave them alone, and is using their own teammates as bait. The killer may well choose to keep chasing the first survivor and ignore the bait.
When a survivor and the killer are working together, the killer will let the survivor live in exchange for ratting out their teammates locations, and sometimes even purposefully sandbagging them.
I'm afraid they're different things.
You just admitted that I am 100% right. "When a survivor and the killer are working together, the killer will let the survivor live in exchange for ratting out their teammates locations,"
That's what I have said multiple times, yet you still say, "no, you're wrong."

Again I repeat, baiting the killer into other survivors, even on purpose with Bond, is not against the rules, it is not 'working with the killer'. You have done nothing to prove it is and BHVR has never claimed it is against the rules. Sorry.
THERE IS NOTHING THE SURVIVOR CAN DO TO "WORK WITH THE KILLER' OTHER THAN PURPOSEFULLY LEAD THE KILLER TO THE OTHER SURVIVORS.
SERIOUSLY, HOW CAN YOU NOT COMPREHEND THIS! You a purposefully trolling. Either get the hint, or face the report for supporting and condoning cheating. YOUR CHOICE!

Just wondering what are your thoughts and why would the 2nd last survivor that gets down loves to snitch on the last survivor when a killer tries to secure 4 kills (excluding those when the last survivor does nothing the whole game or sabotaging own teammates)?
It doesn't matter what the forum 'thinks' this is called working with the killer, reportable cheating, and if reported properly results in bans. If you encoutner this in game, you click the report button that indicates working with the killer on the survivor that did this. Record a video of your gameplay. It is especially useful if you had a friend in the match or if you are already dead and are watching from the survivor's point of view. Post it to youtube, I usually do unlisted. Go to the BHVR website to submit more information about a report and put in a ticket with your video information.
It can take an hour to do, but in my opinion it is well worth it to rid ourselves of cheating scum.
In the case of the other player not doing anything, this is even easier to solve. Why risk cheating just to punish them? Is it your job (do you work at BHVR) to punish cheaters? ABSOLUTELY NOT! A better question here is how do you know they were doing nothing? Were you running around, doing nothing, monitoring the other survivors? Do your part, live or die, and move on. If you give in to cheating you deserve the ban that you will get, because it isn't your place to enforce the rules. Don't become cheating scum. A defense of, "Well the other guy was breaking the rules," is no defense for cheating.

Unless someone has been blisteringly BM, spent the entire match hidden or AFK or otherwise were a deliberate detriment to their team, I'll generally give the last survivor hatch or gate. If there was a quitter, I may even give more survivors gate.
However, this can often lead to either frustrating or hilarious situations like:
- You find hatch. You try to lead that survivor to hatch, but they insist on running away. So you close hatch and let them get gate, only to realize by the end of the countdown that they went AFK in a locker.
- Canadian standoffs (both players trying to be polite, with the survivor trying to be hooked and the killer trying to let them out).
- You give them hatch or gate, only to be accused of 'deranking' in postgame?
So - what do you do with the last survivor, assuming they tried?
Survivors - do you prefer hatch, gate or just to die?
Giving the hatch or a gate is a gift to yourself. You are fudging the numbers so BHVR doesn't nerf the overbalance of killers.
Kill them all! And stop lying to the devs.

Eh...here's how it looks from my perspective when I'm playing killer.
I'm trying not to tunnel, but the only person I find is the Meg who just got unhooked. Okay then.
Meg runs, I chase, but I see a David working on a gen who I haven't hooked, so I peel off and chase him instead. I'm doing an archive that will be impossible if Meg DCs.
Here's how it works from my perspective as survivor. I am the only person that has been hooked. Meg, who has bond, is being chased and leads the killer to my location. The killer drops her chase and chases me to tunnel me out.
Meg is working with the killer. It is a reportable violation of the rules and the evidence showing she has bond proves she knew exactly where all survivors are.
-
I think you are the one that missed the point. You are afraid of the fee. That's the point of the fee! You don't want to incur the fee, so don't tunnel. Don't camp, or return to the hook, and you are unlikely to even see the unhooked survivor again until you have downed and hooked someone else or their tunnel timer has run out.
You did make me think of something else though. In the case of only two survivors left the punishment would have to be shut off as well. Don't want this idea to force killers to slug in the two survivor situation.
-

I think you need to be very careful with stuff like that. I would not want a 25% bloodpoint lose and I imagine I'm not alone with that. So if we say that's how it is every survivor under the sun would know the killer don't want to lose that much points so you would need to deal with a very annoying survivor trying to block you and waste time hitting them
The punishment needs to be hefty or it would just be shrugged off by most killers. It would also need to be obvious to the killer to avoid accidentally incurring it. A timer next to the player icon or something.
Another thing I forgot to mention is to throw the entire idea out during EGC. If you are getting hooked two or three times in a row during EGC that is not tunneling.
-
Killers try to do this nearly every game. This isn't something new that a player figured out recently. I remember doing this in a wreckers map with Michael when hatch standoff was a thing and the gens were in a triangle literally two car spaces apart.
Now the maps are so much better. Gens are so much further from each other.
And guess what, there is an extremely easy solution to solve this complaint. DO GENS. You can wait for the killer's patrol to pass a gen and then get two to four players on it you can usually make significant progress. If you are chased RUN AWAY SO THE OTHER CAN FINISH... Easy. Another method is to have one person on each gen, and if four players are still alive then two on one of the three. You can't ALL be chased at the same time.
Another tip here, if you are getting chased and the killer drops the chase, turn around and follow them back to the gen. Sneakily wait for them to break it and jump right back on it.
If the killer commits to chasing and downing you, the other survivors can use this to win! The killer cannot chase the others off gens while they are hooking you.
If the killer is so good that you still can't DO GENS! then the final option is to admit you aren't as good as them and lose. END THE GAME. Stop making matches that you can't win and are probably getting no blood for playing anymore last forever. Go force a chase or go get pulled off a gen and bam, the game should end soon.
-
Here is my idea I've been bringing up here in the forums for quite a while:
I think if tunneling were punished it would be enough to stop most players. By punished, I mean that if you hook the same person twice in a row to kill them, and there are other players still in game and alive, you get a -25% blood fee, that will be paid to the survivor you hooked twice in a row. If you kill one survivor by hooking them three times straight, you get a -50% fee, which again will be paid to the survivor you killed by tunneling. I think both of these should have a time limit to be considered tunneling and to prevent the survivors that have been hooked from trying to get in the way with a body block. Let's say one or two minutes. However long it would take to heal with self care and do one quarter of a gen seems reasonable.
Also, a player that is tunneled by those definitions will have a guaranteed safety pip, no more -1 simply because the killer is greedy.
Make the killers that refuse to play fair pay for it, and then at least some of them will think twice about ruining one player's game just to gain a huge advantage. Those that don't, well this will fix two of the most important issues that tunneling causes. Losing pips unfairly and not gaining any blood for your time in the match.
For my idea Moris would also have to count as hooking, but I don't think bleeding out would, especially since it would well outside the timer I mentioned.
-
Yes, I started by walking around in a snowman for three gens. They weren't interested so I decided to play nice and only hook twice. I carried a kind survivor's dying corpse over to a snowman and dropped them several times in front of it. They were kind enough to oblige while their buddies opened the exit.

If the guard has direct line of sight to you and you're in the radius, it will jump to you. It also does so if you're in the radius and make a noise notification.
Nobody thinks that's too insane, no, because Nemesis zombies don't contribute in most matches. There's a reason Nemesis has an actual power that can explode pallets and whatnot, he is objectively the better killer. They can only fly when they first detect you, which is rarely relevant. The guards are not really "always relatively fast" either, 2/3 are about as fast as the survivor (whereas the killer is 15% faster).
Yes, Nemesis should get a buff for his zombies, they are total trash most of the time. At the very least they should fix the zombie pathfinding, almost every single match a zombie will somehow get stuck on a wall and not move for the rest of the match.

He isn't good. Holding W does not cause you to die or it wouldn't be counterplay. I understand you keep losing to him, but it's not the killer's fault, it's yours.

Exploiting definitely isn't "excessively using a frowned upon method of playing the game". Slugging is not an exploit.
"In video games, an exploit is the use of a bug or glitch, or use of elements of a game system in a manner not intended by the game's designers, in a way that gives a substantial unfair advantage to players using it."
An exploit is explicitly the abuse of a bug in the game. Camping, tunneling, and slugging are not bugs, and in fact the devs have condoned those behaviors before, clearly proving beyond a shadow of a doubt they are not exploits.
In addition, playing the game in a way that makes you mad is not an unfair advantage.
The word exploit can mean taking advantage of an advantageous situation. It doesn't always mean cheating. In the case of slugging it is clear that I, and evidenced by their plans to change this, BHVR as well, disagree with YOU. It is not working how either of us think it should, and using it is clearly an exploit that needs to be fixed.
Your opinion on the topic doesn't change those facts. You are wrong. Undeniably completely 100% wrong. Slugging can be exploited, and it is being exploited.
-
I think it needs to be made clear that the word exploit has a definition other than reportable and bannable cheating, because some people obviously don't seem to know that fact and therefore jump to conclusions.
To excessively use a frowned upon method of playing the game in order to win is obviously, to anyone that graduated basic education, EXPLOITING an unfair advantage. Slugging, specifically, can be referred to as an exploit in both ways, because we know the devs are trying to figure out a fair way to fix this unfair and unfun mechanic. It is clear they intend to stop those players that are overusing this exploit as a means to not only win, but to try to punish and torture their opponents.
Now, is the knight the best killer in the game, no, but is he the best at camping, tunneling, and slugging? Maybe. However, I don't think he needs nerfs, what we need is more punishment to dissuade against camping and to end slugging completely. At that point he will probably need buffs. It would be nice if there was an in game reason not to tunnel as well. I've brought it up in the past that maybe the killer should lose % bp if they hook the same survivor twice in a row, and give those bp to a killed survivor if they are tunneled to death.
-
I like the tome and the winter party starters, but the in game event is nothing but decor. Other than the two tome challenges there is literally no good reason to interact with snowmen.

Soon they are going to be releasing instant mori's and make the mori's in the blood web totally worthless...
The point is that BHVR are bad at this, fixing things that become accidentally broken, and the only thing players can do is make threads like this one and hope they pay attention.
-
I think that the 'dead season' can be avoided by putting out a popular license. The first RE chapter was in that time frame and I doubt very much that the numbers didn't spike because of it.
On the other hand, I'm one of those people that would love to see a period of bug fixes and balancing. Even skip a new killer/survivor release for a quarter and the game could end up in a better place all around after that.
Unfortunately, BHVR seem to be doing the opposite of that. I wouldn't be surprised if they announced MORE killer and survivor releases, MORE skins, and stopped trying to fix maps, bugs and balance the game completely, because it cannot be more clear that they are trying to make as much money as they possibly can. Resorting to what most people view as scummy tactics to milk the player base is a clear sign that they are heading in that, obviously wrong, direction, instead.
-
To sandbag your teammates. Seriously. It is clear to me beyond a shadow of a doubt that the reason the perk exists is to sabotage progress.
Anyone saying otherwise is oblivious to the situation that the perk can actually be used in. That situation is the gen trifecta, where a killer is patrolling three gens. That means, the absolute ONLY situation where the perk could actually do a thing to help survivors, is the exact same situation where the killer will be going out of their way to hit you once and make you lose all of the saved up progress.

Yes, but even in this case it only applies if it occured for a prolonged amount of time in the case of bodyblocking.
If it gets you killed and is clearly on purpose, it doesn't matter how long it was. It is working with the killer and entirely bannable. I hope this isn't their first ban and/or they up the time for the severity of it so we won't see them in game again anytime soon.
-
What the game needs isn't exactly unbreakable basekit. It is a flat 30 second unmodifiable timer that says, 'you've been down for 30 seconds, now you aren't,' and picks up the survivor regardless of their healing progress.
That gives some play for finding the last or chasing away the swf, but also puts a time limit on those killers that exploit the four minute bleed out timer every single game.
-
I think noed is much better than it was. I don't think it needs a change nearly as badly as eruption. These two perks are on completely different levels.
Then again, if you are seeing noed every map that says more about where you are in MMR than anything (you are probably low-mid tier). Learn where totems spawn. Look for it while someone else is working on the door. Also, stop expecting that you should escape every match. The closer you get to cap MMR the more you will die unless you are playing in a 4 man SWF with comms. That's just a fact. I expect a 25% escape rate at this point, and that is pretty accurate. By that I mean some survivors in the group will escape one out of every four games. Other than hatch, the other three games are very likely to be four kills. The killer that has escapes is almost always one of the few that choose not to play the metas. The other three are always using some combination of the meta perks eruption, call of brine, jolt, overcharge, dead man's switch, pain resonance, and sloppy butcher, mostly depending on which ones work best for the killer they are playing.
-
I've paid attention to this extensively because I am also curious about it.
I live in the midwest, so I expect my server is in Denver, Colorado. That's where most multiplayer game servers are for my region. My gaming time varies right now, due to my ISP and the weather, but I've been playing from early morning (8 am) to early morning (3 am) since 6.1.
We get killer 100% randomly sometimes in the evenings around 9 to 11 pm. It NEVER lasts for more than three games straight before it returns to survivor.
The rest of the day from 8 am until at least 9 pm is Survivor 50-100%.
The way this jumps from one to the other, and evidence from playing killer during this time period, it is clear to me that when this occurs it is most likely several groups of SWFs join and play around a specific time frame that day. They skew the numbers for a few games and get bored of bullying killers so they leave. If you happen to play killer during this time you can see these groups. You know the ones that switch their characters/items as a group at exactly six seconds remaining. The ones where all three survivors will try to stop you from hooking the first hook instead of working on the first gen.
If you play survivor during the killer 100% times you still get grouped up within a minute or two, which is the exact same wait that the killers have when they are 100%. This tells me that the numbers used for this bonus are skewed towards killers. If the number of people queued up for survivors and killers is even close to the 4:1 the killers are immediately given the bonus. Survivors probably don't see a bonus until they drop to or below the 3:1 range. Which explains the instant survivor queues and the five to ten minute wait time for killers during the rest of the day.
-
Six months of no new killer/survivor while they rework the entire game would be great.
-
They are money sided. They see a way to make money, they want to do that. They notice a way they will lose money, they don't want to do that. They accidentally do something that causes them to lose money, they want to fix that. The same is true if they accidentally do something that is too popular, because that must mean it is too good and will eventually cause them to lose money, right?
To say they are survivor sided is to be completely and utterly blind to the facts. Any nerf to survivor is a nerf to ALL survivors. It isn't the same with killers, who, when nerfed, will either play with the nerf, play a different killer, or quit. Survivors only have two choices if they want to play survivor when a survivor nerf happens, continue playing despite the nerf, or quit. There is no third option.
That being noted, here is a list of survivor related things that haven't been nerfed in some way since I started playing several years ago.
SWF.
That was a pretty short list, huh? It was easier to list the things that haven't been nerfed than it was to list the nerfed things, because literally every single aspect of playing survivor has been nerfed other than that. EVEN THE COSMETICS!
So, when you ask yourself if the devs are survivor sided and you start leaning toward yes, smack yourself upside the head and return to reality. Every single aspect of survivor gameplay has seen a nerf. Every single too good or too used perk gets nerfed. They don't always go as far as balance would warrant but too often they overstep the necessary and break what they are nerfing into uselessness. It's very similar for killers except when the OP killer gets nerfed because too many people are exploiting the OPness most of those players just go to the next best killer and exploit it's OPness. BHVR have learned a bit from experience when they released Legion and have since released most killers slightly underpowered and buff them a little bit after the fact if they decide it is necessary. They are doing the same with survivor perks. If they want to make an obviously good perk, they first nerf something so that the obviously good perk won't be OP. Hyperfocus came out the update AFTER they added 10 seconds to the gen timer. Think about that. They are planning things that intricately and you think they care about one side more than the other. They just want to entice new players and keep the interest of the old players as long as possible.
-
I've put the work in to get iri 1 for the past few months. It definitely comes down to the killer. If they are farming, afking, or worse, if they are camping, tunneling, or being super aggressive, you will not get a pip and might not even safety. They have to play the way they are intended to play in order for you to get progress. Then you also have to sweat it out getting more than your fair share of gens, chase, and/or saves, etc.
Depipping should have ended by now.
Good luck!
-
His summon makes him into two killers that both can get downs from camping even if the survivors go separate ways. This makes him the absolutely undeniable best at the absolutely undeniable worst method of gameplay. Not even a camping Cannibal can go two directions at the same time.
-
Same thing for me. The wiggle skill check pauses for a moment when you hit the check. Unless the requirement to wiggle free has been lowered this is making every wiggle bar take longer to fill up.
-
Yeah, he is great, especially on certain maps. Turns the game into 2v4, which is somewhat game breaking. I only faced him as survivor six times yesterday but twice the Knights got two downs at exactly the same time. This killer risks ruining DbD meanwhile you got killers here whining he isn't powerful enough... get a grip on reality!
I'm not saying he needs a nerf, yet, but people calling for a buff? You have got to be kidding me. If you think he needs a buff you aren't playing him right.

DS2 is great! Lately I've been playing modded DS1, an enemy and item randomizer run that I just completed. If you like souls I cannot recommend modding DS1 enough, it is the best for modding and was already the most replayable Soulsbornering. I would love a sequel to Bloodborne.
I recently got Valheim as a gift and have gotten that 2/5ths finished. If you like Minecraft or MMO style gameplay Valheim can be a lot of fun.
I periodically pick up Left 4 Dead and play through some matches with my son.
If you like retro games and have someone to coop with I recommend Toe Jam and Earl. (NOT THE SEQUEL - PANIC ON FUNKOTRON!) It is by far the best retro coop game ever made. We just did another playthrough of that and it was a blast.
Then there is DBD. Which we play every day.
So that's what I'm playing right now, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. We go through games like water. Looking forward to a lot of potential great games next year.

They don't dc for me. Unless a challenge or something stops me from doing so (like if I am playing Tombstone Myers) I always bring Lightborn. Every single match and every single killer. It is hilarious when they realize their plans to bully the killer aren't going to work.
The first DC punishment does need to be increased though. It should start at one or two hours, not five minutes. Five minutes is like the time it takes to spend the blood from the last match. That's not enough.

My son ran into some sort of issue and he reported it to support. The support staff were awesome and handed him a bunch of blood to make it right. The next day I finished and claimed two daily rituals and didn't get the reward from them. I put in a support ticket and the support staff were the worst and basically told me, 'Too bad go away'... That is DbD.

My favorite is the new window. It spawns just enough wall to hold a window. Great design!

It's way to common for a to survivor find themselves spawned right next to a lit totem, and with how the game spawns the players the killer runs into situations where they don't have a chance to stop it from being broken even if it's the first thing checked.
The survivors are looking around the map at the start of a match for a generator, that's the time they are more likely to spot a totem or call one out if its a SWF, Completely nullifying a perk slot on the killer.
Hex perks should activate on a dull totem after its condition is met. Either a hit, hook, vault or touching a generator. Undying could activate when any other totem is lit.
And remove all lighthouse totem spawns.
I do think that placement on almost all maps needs to be redone still. They did a good job on Treatment Theater and Dead Dawg Saloon but so many more maps, even new ones like Garden of Joy, have beacons even though they said they would fix that. All of the outdoor maps with hills still have the occasional beacon hill totem, too. Even RPD, where they clearly could have put the totem underneath the desks, they stuck it out where the chair would be.

k not to sound rude but
are we really complain about a free win here?
i know you are trying to have fun but if the killer is afk they are most likely lowering their mmr because they are sick of everything
If you are working on higher ranks, an afk killer can make it extremely difficult to safety pip, let alone gain a pip.
It isn't a good thing for survivors, it is in fact worse than an over-powered killer that slaughters you, because at least in that case the match takes very little time and you can go on to the next match hoping that the MMR will balance that killer out of your opponents. Instead an afk killer causes you to be required to waste time trying to get emblems that will simply be impossible to max out.
It also causes a very clear anti-balancing issue. The killer afking isn't doing it for blood. They are not doing it to be nice. They are trying to derank themselves (which, by the way, is completely pointless because it is nearly impossible in the current MMR setup), and worse. They are attempting to fudge the numbers so that it doesn't appear that killers are getting as many kills as they are able to get, thus causing the devs to be misled by those numbers and balance the game based on those cheaters' contributions combined with legitimate matches. That's their plan anyway. Hopefully the devs can decipher these worthless matches out of ratings.
As a person that plays a lot of DBD usually, I've only seen roughly 5-10 in the past month. I'd say they make up maybe 1/100 matches. Thankfully they aren't as normal as they were back when smurfing was as easy as deranking by AFKing or DCing.

Believe me; no killer goes into a game thinking: "Yeah Im gonna play Doctor so I can annoy the ever living heck out of these survivors." If a killer wants to be malicious they are more likely to play Basement Bubba. The Doctor will shock you even if you are in tier 3 Madness. That's how he works. No shock means no anti-loop and therefore no hit.
There might be a few people out there that only shock you to be annoying. There are bad sports on both sides that will do anything to ruin the game for their opponents, sadly. But its definitely not every single Doctor. Since you seem to be the only one with that experience I would argue you are either very unlucky or you completely misread these situations.
You are proving my point. You enjoy annoying people. You get a thrill from it. You cannot stop yourself from wasting other peoples time. You could ignore me. You could say we just disagree and move on, but you keep on bumping this thread and proving my point.
Good job, Doctor main, good job at being the most annoying killer you can be.

My suggested fix for Trapper is to make setting and resetting traps twice as fast. Start him with say five traps (increasing how many he can carry). Start the match with half the traps on the map set up already.
I think these ideas would be fair, and make him a lot less easy mode for survivors. At the moment it only takes one survivor stalking him to break every trap and ruin his entire power.

Right, because killer players just love to waste their time and losing matches. Just as much as they love getting teabagged at the exit gates.
I used to main Doctor and I never did this. Doctor does not have the time to go out of his and annoy you. Its also interesting how you make claims that are obvious lies. "EVERY SINGLE DOCTOR plays this way." means they all bodyblock you into corners. How would they even do that? XD Its your decision whether you run into a corner or not?
Most Doctors I've seen use their shock for the anti-loop ability more than anything else. Because they actually want to win. If what you stated was even REMOTELY true we would see Doc's kill rate dropping beyond reasoning. That doesn't match with the numbers we have.
No, Doctor players do. Only Doctors. Not every Legion only wants to cause everyone to mend, and not every Plague only pukes on you beyond the usefulness of it. Clowns aren't made up of players that ONLY intoxicate you well beyond what is necessary. The Doctor does this every single time. There are a lot of slightly annoying mechanics in DBD, yet only the Doctor is used this way every time I've faced him.
I am talking about my experience. It may not be your experience but I would argue that you lack experience if you don't regularly encounter this. I am certain that my experience is more than most. I play DBD at least one four hour session a day, and most days eight to twelve hours. Doctor is used roughly 1 out of every 30 matches, and this is how they always play. They ALWAYS shock beyond what is needed. Not sometimes, not once a match. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Heck, they even shock player's dead bodies just to annoy the f out of that player.

do you really think they're shocking you just to be annoying? the shock has a side effect where you can't drop pallets or vault windows for 2.5 seconds after getting zapped. he's not shocking you just to bother you, he's trying to stop you being able to use chase tools so he can land a hit.
unless the killer has the "make survivors scream" archive in which case yeah i once chased a jill around a single rock for an entire game just to get 40 screams for my archive. got it in one, baby. still, wasn't to annoy her though. it was to get my archive.
Do I think so? Absoeffinglutely. They are definitely doing that. If you think they aren't then you aren't paying attention. There is absolutely no advantage to blocking a survivor in a corner and shocking them over and over even after they are already at the snap out of it stage. NONE. Yet EVERY SINGLE DOCTOR plays this way. In fact, this is usually how the match starts vs. a Doctor. They find someone, body block or just loop them into a dead end, and proceed to shock them over and over and over again. Not for game advantage, but to be annoying. It isn't the trophy or the tome challenges, because then you would face some doctors that wouldn't be wasting their time doing this. Since it is always every single one of them, it is the fact that they enjoy being annoying. I think the only time I've faced a Doctor that wasn't doing this is when they were standing still, farming, yet EVEN THEN they were still electrocuting everyone.

You do know that if he shocks you,you gain distance againts him,its not like his shocks has no downside or anything.
You do know that doesn't make it even a small amount less annoying? Which is the point. It doesn't matter if he is the weakest killer (which he is not even remotely close to being weak) he is the most annoying and least fun.
