Franklin's is a waste. It doesn't counter toolboxes. They'll almost always have no charges left by the time you Franklin them. It can counter medkits, but the teams you need to counter medkits against will just drop their medkits when one player calls out that you have Franklin's. You're better off taking Bamboozle or another chase perk on an M1 killer.
Corrupt/Deadlock/Jolt is good though.
Are you sure Franklin's Demise is a waste of a perk slot? I had a lot of value from it since survivors love to run Built to Last nowadays. I guess yeah, Bamboozle is also a good perk. I should of added that in the list except some maps it's pretty damn useless with how many pallets there are or a lot of vaults like Lery's Memorial Institute.
@RaSavage42 said:
Honestly is looks good...
But downing a Survivor within 30 seconds of the match starting will take off Corrupt... making using that perk a moot point (If BHVR did just thought of what they did to Lethal and apply that to Corrupt it could be better)
Deadlock is technically better with dealing with Gen-rushing
Franklin's Demise maybe worth it if you happen to find a Survivor quickly... but after that those Toolboxes maybe used up
Jolt... it's ok for what it does... but only taking off 7 charges per down doesn't mean all that much
Discordance works well against Prove Thyself
Fearmonger can also work against DH... but yea it works against all Aura Reading and Exhaustion perks
At least that 30 seconds is taken off from the 3 gens that got blocked. Corrupt, in my opinion, has a lot of value.
They can refill the toolboxes in lockers with Built to Last, that's why I suggest using Franklin's Demise because it's a wonderful perk to have against it.
Jolt is good for M1 killers and if there is a chance that they almost completed the gen and you downed a survivor, you can go to the gen and pressure the rest of 'em.
-
Franklin's Demise vs Toolbox.
Corrupt Intervention vs Gen rush.
Deadlock good for stalling.
Jolt since kicking gens is meaningless.
Discordance vs gen rush
Fearmonger vs lithe and sprint burst.
-
I recommend gen blocking perks and franklin's demise. I guarantee that 1 at least will DC with this build because it happens to me all the time.

Well right now Bamboozle and then 2 gen regression perks. Can use sloppy or another slowdown perk for last slot.
Make the gens looooooooooooooooong.
Which gen regression perks?

Legion’s character theme is supposed to involve running at high speeds and chaining frenzy hits, but in reality their frenzy speed is so slow that if you find two survivors together, and they immediately run in opposite directions, that you might not even be able to hit them both with the same frenzy.
Trying to chain 5 frenzy hits is so wildly unrealistic against good survivors, and Legion pretty much fails at their character theme.
Most of the time, I hit someone with frenzy, notice that no one else is close enough to guarantee a frenzy hit, so I cancel frenzy and chase after the survivor that I just hit with frenzy. Yes, that can win games, but it’s really not really the high speed attack chaining excitement that is was advertised to be.
After playing a bunch of Legion matches, this is true. This might have to do with my high MMR so survivors will spread out and the large maps makes it even worse than it already is. Getting a 5th hit with Frenzy is a miracle if it happens.

I sort of play Legion like I play Knight.
His power is really about putting pressure on people, not necessarily downing them.
It's definitely worse than Knight but I use it in the same way. If I don't think I'll be able to down someone who is injured, I'll tag them with Frenzy and leave.
It's hard to put pressure on them when they spread out.

Honestly, the meta shake up (6.1) was not that bad compared to this one. I'm really looking forward Killers getting easy 4K's every match cuz this game is gonna become M1 simulator and predrop every game. Why did you even have to touch the meta.. BHVR always does things no one asked for and it's so uncalled for to change all of our favorite perks. I know I'm not gonna play this boring game again if they do change the meta and all my friends agreed to. Stop changing our playstyle and let the perks just be. And why wasn't this change earlier, it should have been looked into couple of years ago. Anyone else not gonna play much DBD when the changes come live?
If this goes live then I'll never play survivor ever again LMAO. Killer for life.

Legion is fine with :

If we are honest- this should be base kit. Imagine Blight not breaking pallets base kit!

Play this addon with it and most survivors have no idea what to do (even the good ones).
What perks do you use with those addons?
-
@Chocolate_Cosmos said:
The better Survivors you go againts, the worse they are.
They have really good power to put some pressure and lose healthy state. But they are just normal M1 when you want to down someone.
I have a hard time with his power unless I use speed and prolonged power addons because most of the time, if I want to put pressure, Legion's power run out so fast.
-
@Ayodam said:
They are about to become a lot stronger.
How come? People are now less likely to heal than before, and they rush the gens after they're done mending.
-
When the first survivor goes down and instant DC or commit the hook at 5 gens, that's where I just give up instantly.
-
I'd pick Birkin 💯. They put more attention to detail on W. Birkin than HUNK.
-
That's very interesting but wouldn't hiding the red stain negatively impact Solo Q more since Blindness already has a lot going on versus solo players with aura perks such as bond, kindred, etc?
-
@Shroompy This is incredible! Thanks for commenting here.

https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/369536/what-is-your-opinion
Adrenaline: Sure, it's fine, I guess. It was a fun interaction but I guess it's whatever.
AMN: I don't really think this perk needs a nerf.
Boil Over: It just needs to do something completely different until we get proper controller settings.
Spine Chill: It's fine how it is.
UB: Don't like that. Keep it the same at it is now, it's fine as is.
Vigil: It already does this, I think.
Beast of Prey: Don't like this at all, needs a rework.
Blood Echo: Don't like this. Shorten the cooldown, don't remove it.
Bloodhound: No, that's a horrid idea.
Claustrophobia: Remove the range, sure. Make it a little longer, sure. 55 seconds is way too long though.
Deerstalker: This perk is fine as is.
Dissolution: This perk is fine as is, MAYBE you could increase the duration.
Dying Light: What?
Forced Penance: Encourages tunneling and makes it unpunishable, no good.
Furtive Chase: This is a buff to Survivors.
Hangman's Trick: This is still bad. Franklin's and even Overwhelming Presence are better.
Hex: Crowd Control: No, this is a bad change. Have it block for 25 seconds. Permanent is stupid.
Hex: Huntress Lullaby: Effect persisting is fine, keep the nerf to skill checks.
Overwhelming Presence: Bad change.
Thanatophobia: No thanks, we don't need even SLOWER healing speeds.
Trail of Torment: The aura needs to stay. Maybe make it a delayed effect.
Unrelenting: 40% is probably too much.
If I didn't mention something, it means I either agree or think it's passable.
Proper controller settings? You'll be waiting another 10 years for that or maybe more.

When will bhvr hire you?
-
Abusive play style? Since when is DbD domestic violence?

@Madjura said:
I don't understand what you are saying. Could you please explain? Are you saying Survivors are using Any Means Necessary to "farm" zombie kills or is there another issue?
That's not the only issue. Zombies were meant to eat a pallet so that Nemesis can destroy it later on except because of this perk slowly becoming meta, it's no longer the case.
The respawn time for a zombie is way too high and they're probably one of the most awful powers that any killer could have. Clunky AI, terrible pathing, horrible detection system and slow. Nemesis has to suffer debuffs because of this. His tentacle is hard to hit, his tentacle give you a speed boost, his tentacle doesn't injure you before infection. He's a enormously tall killer with loud footsteps, so there is no point to mind game or sneak survivors. He has too many downsides to be a good M1 killer.

I'm cool with everything besides the hillbilly changes. Why nerf an underperforming killers only good add-ons? I don't get it, it seems like they just want to kill hillbilly. I've said this a lot before but I'll say it again, if overheating is such a "non-factor" then why not remove it? If it doesn't change anything then why is it there?
I can live with the pain res nerfs, it sucks that they over nerfed it but I don't use the perk anyway so I could care less.
The reasoning behind the overheat mechanic is so hillbilly can't forever camp the hook or constantly traverse the map. It's flawed since Bubba can hook camp whenever he wants and Blight can traverse the map forever.

4.92m/s * 18s = 88,56m,
4.6m/s * 18s = 82,8m
Distance Gainz of 5,76m and you basically get a one-time use of a worse Lethal Pursuer.
I´m pretty sure a brown addon would have more usage in a match and work multiple times instead of just once at the beginning.
Also lethal pursuer gives you +2 seconds bonus aura reading that works with powers, addons and perks meanwhile this addon doesn't give you anything extra.
-
It's completely useless. It was very good when it was a purple addon but now it's as useless as it can get. You're better off using other addons.
-
I came.

That's enough internet for me today.

I find it's probably nearly hard enough to justify them getting there own voice, money wise. Spending time and money on menu music maybe.
But I doubt we will get something as good as baba Yaga ever again
Well... that sucks. I guess it's good to keep my money then because buying a skin for killers in first person is ridiculous if it doesn't come with a chase music.
-
If these changes were to go live then dying light might actually become living light.
-
I like the heartbeat since my friends has bad hearing after covid pandemic. Will killers get FOV slider in the foreseeable future?

I would actually say most killers have really good add-ons. There's just a handful that don't have a lot of good ones. Namely Pyramid Head, Freddy, and Nemesis. You can make an argument for Deathslinger, but the good ones he does have are VERY good.
Kind of funny that you mention Sadako and Knight, since they both have a lot of really good add-ons.
also which deathslinger addons are good?

Coulrophobia is fine but the rest are awful just awful.

I don't think we're getting anything maybe a charm 😂🤣🤣
-
I don't know. There are many problems with balance and right now it's best to take a break and play something else. After they nerfed MYC, I stopped believing in the balance team that they can do anything right.
-
Yes, it doesn't make sense at all but I guess survivors need more buffs?
-
I don't think BHVR is capable in doing that without making the playerbase angry.

People saying he's not weak clearly never played Knight against good solo or swf.

Hmm doubt. I see they nerfing Call of brine and overcharge over Pain resonance to kill the 3 gen meta for good.
They probably will not stack anymore or they reverse the overcharge buff.

@ChuckingWong said:
Im already stepping away from this game. It seems they just want to pander more and more to survivors, there is no argument anymore the game is literally tailor made for them, they are safe AT ALL TIMES.
Until a 3rd health state is out of this game, it's just gonna remain uninstalled.
You're making a healthy choice. Everything you said is nothing but the truth and I don't think their deeed hurrddd will change and it will stay the way it is.

@TigerSnake said:
Nah, it’ll be Call of Brine. People will complain that it’s “uninteractive”, “unfun”, “takes no skill”, and “wins games killers shouldn’t win” and BHVR will kill it appropriately.
It'll be both together with Overcharge and other gen perks. Survivors still get their dead hard and BT basekit.
-
I think they agree but they won't let you know.
-
Dead hard has been meta since from the start.
Eruption has been meta since the last Overcharge buff.

@Iron_Cutlass said:
I know some people are really bumbed out because of the Skull Merchant, but personally, I do not think it's the worst PTB we have had.
May I remind people that Ghostface's PTB exists:
- Ghostface would get revealed instantly and sometimes even through walls/obstacles. It was also very much possible to get revealed through entire buildings if you were unlucky. When revealed, there was no Killer's Instinct to indicate where you were revealed from.
- Marking a Survivor to begin with took an incredibly long amount of time due to the "lean" on Ghostface being bugged and not working properly most of the time. Marking a Survivor while crouched was also insanely difficult since the slightest obstructions of a player would cause stalking to not function properly.
- Most of Ghostface's addons were horrible/mediocre to begin with.
- If you stalked a Survivor and got revealed, your mark progress on that Survivor would deplete over time. Combine this with the previously mentioned awful reveal mechanics, it was nearly impossible to actual mark Survivors.
- The marked duration was incredibly short and could literally be outran on short loops.
- His power was also incredibly unclear for most people playing the PTB since there was a UI error that sometimes misplaced "stealth mode" and "stalk".
Keep in mind, this was the early days of DBD, and BHVR has far more experience with making content now so obviously something like this is not representative on what they do now, but I find it funny how bad Ghostface was on his original PTB.
I can't decide between A Binding of Kin, Ghostface, Resident Evil anniversary, Portrait of a Murder, or Tools of Torment PTBs.
-
me2. Uninstalled and moving on.
