Pardon me,that doens't implie getting hit repeatedly by hatchets,but good huntress knows all the tricks and eventually u will get hit.
Doednt matter..in the end all that matters is how long it takes her to do it

No. With the belt you may dodge two ,then get that huntress hitbox hit and go down.
By then two gens will be done so who cares..?

If your getting smacked by iri heads that implies your getting hit repeatedly by hatchets and were screwed anyway most likely..iri heads are strong but with huge downsides , completely overrated..a real eye roller tbh

Yikes, I see what you mean, I meant the healing buff only affect survivors who heal you (including yourself with SC or Med-Kits). I'll go ahead and fix the grammatical mistake, sorry about that! 🙂
Happy to see we agree on the Dying State changes! 👉👉
Monstrous Sacrifice allows you to stack pressure and prevent sneaky saves. Like if a survivor is positioned near the hook, you as the killer don't have to search the area and can move on to the next survivor. Meanwhile, the survivor who's waiting is wasting time doing nothing.
If you catch another survivor, you could quickly dart back to the hook just before the Entity removes the blockade and prevent an unhook.
Obviously, my suggestion isn't perfect, but it's better than keeping Monstrous Shine basement related and have a weak effect that you can't really increase due to how unstable the perk is to Buff. 😁

@immortalls96, I made a grammar mistake which made my suggestion seem more powerful than it should be. Please review my NM suggestion again since I have fixed the grammar mistake.
Not quite as crazy I suppose..still it burns me that a perk with that many benefits on killer would be made a crappy hex on the spot

You're implying NM is OP because it has multiple perks built into it. However, there's a condition, you have to be injured and must wait out the buildup time. After that, you need to stay injured to gain value from it — by that time, most survivors would had healed or probably would've been caught.
High risk, good reward. 😁
So essentially a survivor hex..minus having the perk taken away from you and therefore has no realistic downside ? Seems unfair to me..its a neat idea, just not a fair one
-
The no mother one Is 3 perks rolled into one..that's kinda redic..
-
Get rid of the recharge, deal with any addons that may be an issue as a result..boom..everyone gets to enjoy nurse without her old addons...otherwise nurse takes way too much effort for mediocre capabilities vs efficient survivors and that's just not fair

I mean, I've personally never had an issue patrolling gens and have never had any instances where I wasn't able to check the furthest gens within 80 seconds.
So as I see it, it's a player limitation, not a character limitation.
Then you only play green ranks..because that very much is a reality..

Doesn't that logic also apply to the killer though?
If the players die that fast, it's the survivors fault.
If the killer fails to identify the probable locations of 3 of the survivors and allows them to easily pop 3 gens that fast, that's the killers fault.
Not when the latter can get done before a killer is physically capable of crossing the map..your blatantly comparing character limitations to player decision making and I think you know that as well..anything else?

I just played a couple of matches as him and you can really feel the change. Just trying to aim and keep up feels so sluggish now. Even when I have the shot ready they can just move slightly and boom, you can't aim enough or they're out of range again. I get they're working with the sensitivity, but lowering an already underwhelming killer seems like a bad move to me.
I agree..tried it myself and it feels terrible...

no, i'm not embarrassed and I have no reason to be, what's embarrassing is that that the dev that answered the question has so little to do with his time that he's on the forum answering an idiotic question that was mostly just b*tching about something he didn't like, but also had no understanding of.

just so we're clear, your "question" was mostly just you b*tching about things you don't understand and saying the killer was worse off bc of it. your nonsensical post didn't deserve any kind of response from anyone on the dev team, but clearly they've got free time.
Lol someone is embarrassed..and I'd say as I play the character I can understand it wasnt a good move and I will call it out as such..

@Peanits said:
There's actually a very simple answer to this. The Deathslinger was built with a new modifier in mind that allows us to easily tweak his ADS sensitivity. Meanwhile controller sensitivity is something that is grandfathered in from back in 2016. Some things like the Hillbilly's chainsaw emulate a controller for turning, and simply increasing the maximum sensitivity would mean that the Hillbilly could suddenly turns way more. In order to increase the maximum sensitivity range, we would need to go through and update anything using it to make sure that it doesn't break something.
The controller sensitivity increase is still on the way, though, and it is actively being worked on.
Interesting ..then that brings me to part 2..why? Why change the new killer this way as from some brutally honest feed back..he feels even worse and it wasnt feeling very good before with frame drops and already bad sense...every patch lately has been the bearer of bad news if I'm brutally honest
-
@DarqPhoenix said:
do you actually think the devs are going to respond to this post? I mean, really.

Wait they nerfed this killer? Lol

I don't think they need to make him faster, but I do think he shouldn't have a movement penalty when aiming. Also he should reload automatically after a successful hit. JMO.

@Salty_Pearl said:
The deep wound part of his power is the thing that pisses me off so much about him. Deep wound is no threat at all to any survivors since it's so easy to get out of and how so many things completely stop the timer from going down.
The only problem if he gets 115 speed is that they will have to increase his terror radius to 32 meters which would hurt him a lot.
I'd prefer a slightly better version of iri coin be added to his kit so he can get rewarded for sick shots..because right now that's ironically when hes weakest

@Haku said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/131161/the-deathslinger-is-not-worthy-of-the-110
That is some terrible analysis. I agree with the pros. The cons are missing A LOT and some are wrong.
First perk synergy. Unlike huntress yet he is a range and is able to use all exposing perks in the game - rancor, noed, haunted, MYC, Devour etc. That means for example he can shoot you from far and yet hit you with noed easly. If that is not a amazing /for me way too strong/ synergy I don't know what else do you need.
Second - I have to disagree with the fact chain is easly broken - quite the opposite. It takes quite some time to break in which time he has almost aways enough time to pull you next to him by either gettting you back to a window or a gap where he can hit you OR he can reposition himself while he pulls you. I am giving example inside the preschool where the basement is - you know that small loop right after you exit the basement. I was shot there after I vaulted the window but I manage to hide behinde pipes so he cannot hit me. Well he pulled himself /not me/ around the pipes and and at the end of his pull the he managed to lunge around the pipes and still hit me no problem at all .... It seems you just have no xp currently with it and just say what you've see in few hours.
3rd connected to the second - from what I've seen even if you dont hit the survivor while he is healhty with basic atack you still injure him with the gun and even apply to him deep wounds ....
4th his hix box may be weird but he can actually shoot through things usually Huntress can't - for example on the new map there are a lot of holes in the wooden structures and you can shoot through these holes
And just for the record I am pretty sure you CAN break the chain and you wont get stunned. I saw Zub doing it
He is pretty strong in chases/way too strong if you ask me/ which ofc results in no map pressure
Seems you are late to the party..exposed perks are one of the few things he uses well atm, you used the unsafest wall in dbd as a cop put for your second point which says a lot right there , and finally I've already gotten to the point where as long as I hang out at a pallet that's even moderately safe hes screwed..and since you seem to be missing some info on the killer I'll let you know if you break the chain minus the stun the survivor suffers 0 I'll effects..once its discovered what loops he cant use its game over..hes still riding on the fact that hes new to everyone..demogorgan was the same way..looked pretty good but look at him now..anything else?

Lol straight to petty insults..I can see your quite intellectual
-
@Demogordon_Ramsay said:
I'm having the exact opposite experience everyone else is having, apparently. Maybe no one here plays FPS games, but this Killer feels like the exact opposite of weak to me—he feels completely broken. Like, old Legion levels of broken. Fitting he inflicts Deep Wound on hit.
Being 110 with no mobility is really his only weakness imo. I don't understand how a ranged Killer with split-second ADS, the ability to position Survivors as he pleases, a power that destroys any and all low-wall loops and completely shreds any Survivors the Killer has LoS on, never has to take longer than a couple of seconds to reset his power upon misses, and on top of that has the ability to force Survivors to do something other than gens in his basekit when he abandons them can possibly be considered weak. He has literally everything except mobility, and between the ability to pull Survivors towards you and Perks like Corrupt or Tremors that help you reduce patrolling and tell you exactly where you need to go, he can easily make up for that.
You weren't exactly accurate on many of those points
-
@SMitchell8 said:
I have 6 kills out of 8 with him so far including games on cornfield and yamoka temple. He's better than the huntress as he has no hum, a Myers tier 2 terror radius when using M&A and he doesn't have to reload at lockers. He is bullied however and if you keep missing your shots, you're getting a survivor whitewash.
Mhm...I'm sorry but I think give him 2 weeks tops and he will disappear like demo unless something changes in the variables because hes looking rough rn

It's irrelevant if the killer can hook a survivor regardless because there's a hook less than 10 metres away!
That's highly dependent on the map your on and the spawn logic of that trial..
-
It's not complicated man..toolbox, breakout, saboteur, mettle of man, try it
-
@Orionbash said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1154734#Comment_1154734
It can't become meta with the current changes to the toolboxes/perk. The only way it'd be meta is if they placed the hooks so far apart that killers just barely get a survivor on one every time. And we know that would be bad for the game. But they could at least make it possible to use.
It is possible..you just have to dedicate to it
-
I'd love that..make moris more part of the game without being overbearing
-
@Orionbash said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1154698#Comment_1154698
Found the killer main. But anyway, the new changes don't allow for it to be meta. The saboteur perk has quite a long cooldown which applies even if the survivor doesn't finish the sabotage. You can only sabotage a small number of hooks with the toolbox. And sabotaging is now a risk as it places you in close proximity with the killer. The killer is free to drop the survivor by the hook and chase after the sabotaging survivor. As long as you're quick and get a hit in by the time you'Re back the survivor won't have crawled far and the hook will have respawned.
Very classy cop out, really shows your mind set ..and I'm very aware of how it works , I'm merely stating that attempting to make it the meta is a bad idea rn especially
-
Good..sabo is a mechanic that would only harm the game if it were meta..hooks being permanently destroyed on a sac is bad enough..while some maps have plenty of hooks..some maps have horrible spacing..the game for instance
-
Not quite just because it's not caused by balance issues..its just caused by bad players
-

I had trouble choosing as well, most of them seem really cool. It's really exciting to me that they're brainstorming all these great ideas behind the scenes of things they can do to make the Archives better, things we never would have realised they were thinking about if they hadn't been featured in the survey. It makes me think they're probably doing something similar with a lot of other aspects of the game as well.
Fingers crossed

@immortalls96 why don't you just play as Clown and try out the techniques and strategies I described? Since, most likely, the Clown's you'll vs will play him badly; most do, which is why most people think Clown sucks
I'll give it a go
-
@Onyx_Blue said:
@immortalls96 well, why wait until you see otners do it, when you can try out playing Clown in the manner I have detailed in this thread? Then see if that changes your mind about him.
When I next face a clown I'll be looking for it , till then I'm firm on my stance with him
-
@Onyx_Blue said:
@immortalls96 so, it's clear you're convinced every killer NEEDS a secondary power to have pressure. Well, you're wrong. Every single killer in DBD has pressure tools, it's all a matter of playing that killer the way their power requires you to play. For example, you can't play as Plague and then change to Ghostface and play the same way. There needs to be specific strategies and styles you employ for each killer. Clown is a brilliant chaser, and his pressure tools are tied in with that. Being able to end chases quickly, push people around by your dictation, shut down areas with ease, it's an invaluable tool to have as killer.
I play every killer in this game aside from leather face so I've more than enough experience to he able to formulate my own opinion..until I see this "High level clown gameplay " I have nothing to change my mind on him
-
@Onyx_Blue said:
@immortalls96 Seriously, you aren't even arguing with what I am speaking about. I'm talking Clown's audio manipulation: ie his grunts when he vaults and grunts when he throws a bottle. You can use those audio cues in LOS blocked loops to trick a survivor into thinking you vaulted the window when you actually tossed a bottle high up in the sky. It really isn't a valid point, you're on about the Red Stain, nothing to do with audio cue manipulation. And I called you pig-headed because you're going into this discussion with stubborness and a narrow mind, refusing to even give what i'm saying the light of day
I dont agree with it because clown is a mediocre chaser with 0 pressure tools in his kit..its cut and dry my friend
-
@Onyx_Blue said:
@immortalls96 What are you on about? Clown's ability to mindgame with his audio cues is something that works at strong tiles, namely: shack, building loops and vault infinites; AND this has been working against legit Red Ranks - so don't go trying to shove my arguments away with soft digs and pig-headedness. And how the hell does Ghostface have audio cue manipulation mindgames?
It's called a 3rd person camera..and the red stain tarnishes the clowns potential mind games..slso..calling a valid point pig headedness doesnt exactly make me hold stock in your logic
-
@Onyx_Blue said:
@immortalls96 The Devs stats aren't really reliable. Let's be frank, they have so many factors that are warped by inconsistent elements. And do you honestly think that people play Clown the strongest/most fun way? I mean, Clown has been out for almost 2 years, and I only recently discovered his audio manipulation mindgame. The only reason I did was because of people on forums and my friend talking about what they could do to buff Clown. A lot of people said "remove his vault sound"; so I went into matches experimenting with it, and what do ya know, his vault sounds exactly the same as his bottle toss. So I go experimenting more and more, and find, it is a very good mindgame that only Clown can do with reliable results of it working. Now, if that's something that slipped under the radar from players; imagine what else has, and imagine what that says for how people play Clown. If there is stuff they aren't knowing about and stuff they don't implement into their Clown gameplay, most likely they aren't playing Clown to the strongest ability, correct?
Just because a couple green ranks fall for a mind game that only works at very unsafe tiles anyway doednt mean clown can compete..hes a chaser killer that slows himself for crying out loud...you will not convince me of anything of thats the only trick clown has because ghost face does that trick way better and with real results
