The best advice I could give you is to not sweat the losses right now. She's far from the easiest to play, especially with a controller, so there's no shame in losing with her. The only way you're really going to get better with her is to lose and learn from your mistakes. Going against easier opponents might make you win now, but it won't help you learn how to mindgame and hit the good ones.
If you are playing against good survivors, though, I would recommend not blinking through walls (at least, not all the time) but instead blinking to the corners. Survivors need to break line of sight to get away from you. If you blink to where you think they'll be if they kept running, they can wait by the corner and run back the other direction and you'll have no idea where they are. By blinking to the corner, you can make sure that you can see them no matter which way they go.
But you're ultimately want to get a feel for it. Sometimes it'll work, sometimes it won't. You'll need to practice and get a feel for what works and what doesn't, and how to read a survivor and guess what they'll do next.
With the next update, we'll be increasing the maximum controller sensitivity, which might help you out a little if you find that it's not turning fast enough.
The issue with your solution is essentially it's more wasted time..so essentially no matter what itll take multiple blink cycles to even attempt a swing..your showing the issue everyone mentioned in the old ptb..and yet these things get brushed aside
-
I'd like it if they could boost the shard gain for later chapters of the tome..it would make the ground a tad shorter and make challanges more impactful
-
Um..I'm going to go with no....
-
Yeah the spirit is way more fun than facing say a Myers for instance because she changes how both sides play...now that she no longer has collision and her best addons were smashed with a hammer she should be left alone..at the end of the day the killers job is to oppose you..not ne an npc thrill ride for just the survivors..if you have an issue vs spirit iron will, spine chill, and qaq are very good perks to use..after that just learn to read and predict. Killers do it all the time..your welcome
-
Pass..only because there are survivor perkswith less drawback that have just as much impact , plus killer perks are not very good stock as is
-
Your teams must be horrendous..nurse isn't even the best anymore..too much free gen time

Are people really stooping this low..?

Hooks are really rare in this game.
Ah yes..pick the new map instead of the swamps or the game where the spacing is terrible just to pretend all maps are this way..must say it's really convincing

I don't know why you're trying to say what I've seen on the PTB is untrue while not checking it out yourself.
Ptb survivors are extremely disorganized and map changes always feel bigger than they are..its happened with every map under the new system

Those changes must be truly unblieveable, if i even get accused of lying (in front of the devs and hundreds of players btw)
Also for you: Go on the PTB, ckeck it out, come back later.
Then again people say the same about hawkins..lol and that map has some nasty vault combos

I doubt that but I will have to see

Where do you run to if there's no pallets and you're in a dead zone exactly?
Theres always a pallet or vault somewhere..you could say the same with killer hooks yet there are those who would want them miles apart despite it being the killers obj

So now sprint burst becomes mandatory because pretty much the entire map is a deadzone and high mobility killers are even stronger. Cool. Balanced.
Lol only mandatory of you wait till last second

There is no exaggeration. Go on the PTB and try it out yourself. I scanned the whole maps like 3 times, recorded everything and checked really carefully.
I've heard plenty of positive feedback saying gameplay has felt pretty good..hence why I dont just take your word for it in this case

But if you... have ... deadzones... then you need... something... to... work with.
Lets not forget that not every survivor is ressourceful with Pallets and can screw over the other 3, who actually are.
Exactly..the fact these players thrive is indeed a problem this is aiming to fix
-
The point of the update was to weaken these maps..a pallet reduction is to be expected..the point is to force conservation of resources instead of mindless psllet throws..and honestly I imagine theres a tad bit of exaggeration here
-
Because everything doctor does now is done by action, not passively..everything is ironed out and streamlined

If you're suggesting that it's incumbent on me to explain to the OP how to best Deathslinger, it isn't; I wasn't the individual who essentially made an unhelpful slant against the OP's skills. That was you, you're more than welcome to make your own suggestions.
Just being realistic, I never mentioned skill, more of method
-
@ChirpingCat said:
Interesting suggestion; I know Deathslinger isn't that effective at high rank, so I'd be concerned about making too many changes to him for that reason. Some people have suggested that his terror radius might need adjusting, as low-rank players tend to need a bit more of a head start in order to escape him. Though honestly, I don't have any solutions.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1192364#Comment_1192364
If you're going to comment on the OP's skills, then It might be more constructive to provide genuine suggestions on what you think they need to be working on, just saying.

@Fibijean said:
I actually find Nurse really fun (admittedly I didn't play her a lot before the rework, so maybe I enjoy her because I don't know what I'm missing), as does my brother, who started playing the game a few months ago. We're both bad at her, of course, but we have a blast playing her. Not being a top-ranked killer, I can't comment first-hand on the viability side of things, but she is definitely still fun for those that approach her with the right mindset.
I have way more of a problem with her new add-ons than her basekit, which are kind of fun but mostly work for meming around rather than enhancing her power, which I'm personally not a fan of since it now feels like a waste of my bloodpoints to unlock them knowing I'm never going to seriously use them.
That's the real kicker isnt it..?

Hardly

Its over survivors won they got their the only thing we can do now is make sure they dont win the billy freddy doctor iri head huntress noed mori battles their coming for every strong killer, perk, and addon
Well if we do nothing you'll be correct but we cant expect the devs to listen if we dont speak
-
@ThGameIsHardButSoAmI said:
in my opinion, default nurse nurse was balanced and fun to play as and against. you needed to use line of sight, baits and other strategies to beat her. her add-ons were bullshit tho. The add-on rework + she appearing a split second earlier when she blinks would be enough. omega nurse would be gone, 3-4-5 blink nurse would be gone. the cooldown was a bit overkill
side note: her 3 blink add-on probably would not be super op (considering it is an iredescent) without the line of sight criteria because you would have to wait 9 seconds (i think) between blinks to be able to use 3 blinks
Yeah..but..its a matter of the devs needing to see it..
-
@Carpemortum said:
Oh cooldowns are bad for killers? Can we have my Legions bullshit cooldown fixed too?
To be honest, her changes didnt change THAT MUCH of her. You can still chain blink. You can still have a blink ready after a fatigue and chase. I mean, if you miss, and they run 20 meters away before you even recover, a blink isnt going to help in that instant anyway.
Good nurses are still good, bad ones are still horrible, but shes about the same.
I will say though, adding cooldowns just to have her "fit in line" is a stupid fucing reason.
If she was the same she would still be decently used
-
If death slinger is owning you that hard then I'm sorry to say your issue isnt his quick scoping..

I don't want killers to be easy, I want them to be fun. Freddy and Clown have really boring gameplay, but other good killers like Hillbilly, Huntress or Oni are fun to go against because it takes skill to outplay them.
I dont throw freddy with clown be cause believe it or not snare placement requires some knowledge of the map to get desired results..clown..meh..hes like legion but reverse
-
Insta saw no longer exists really so all he needs is some better addons where the junk ones are
-
Kind if hard when the killers one job is to be tour opposition..now theres some reasonable things to be done to avoid a bad time however your expectations are synonymous with saying "makes the killer easy or it isnt fun" which is a corrosive mentality to have

Because his power is awful, all it does is slow down survivors a bit in a chase. Other than that he's just a m1 killer that can be looped.

- Base crouch movement speed slightly increased.
- Dash has extended range and slightly faster dash speed. missed attack cooldown slightly reduced.
- The Dash charges faster and the roar starts when the dash begins.
- RBT's trigger when someone is rescued from a hook instead of a generator being done.
- Rule set add-on base kit. It would stop survivors planning ahead for box searches on the hook.
- An RBT key cannot be found on the first box, every other box has a chance.
Hmm, interesting ideas..it would certainly help

Clown. He has such an interesting power, I just wish they did more with it. Allow him to regress gens by tossing a bottle at the gen, and make his bottles more lethal. More fun addons would be nice too. I'm tired of the "slightly reduces _______". That is not an add-on; it's a power buff on a price tag.
I definitely see what you mean

Running in a circle around an object while being able to see the killer doesn't take skill. What does take skill is the ability to read killer's movement when moving around a fair thrown pallet. The ability to connect tile-sets simultaneously, The ability to Juke the killer and create distance. If anything, Clown raises skill-cap for survivor, not decreases it as it is much harder to loop a clown than it is to loop a leatherface for example.
I would say both sides require an equal amount of skill, however survivor mistakes are more forgiving because they get more chances to make errors from multiple hook states, health states, exhaust perks etc. if the survivor team is very optimized on objective, Killer errors are not forgiving.
@immortalls96 I think clown some of the tools to be scary to killer to face, but his short coming bring him down.
Fair..decent base line, weaker numbers and no pressure tool

Looping efficiently as survivor does require skill, even if it's less skill required than playing killer. Clown's power removes all skill based gameplay from the situation and forces them to throw down the pallet immediately or take a hit. So I could say the same to you, be quiet about how easy survivor is and maybe play a killer that survivors can employ skill based gameplay against instead of the braindead garbage that is the Clown.
Lol well dont go talking smack about clown when for all the skill he supposedly lacks hes the worst killer in game to most people..so..seriously

It's aimed at making killer meta less unbalanced, not destroying it. Although I think killers are getting the short end of the stick lately, these adjustments would be in a better time when generators aren't the easiest thing ever. Also you seem to not understand how incredibly powerful even a slight speed boost is? As killer, these perks' changes are intended to make killers less dependent on certain metas, too. Such as all the infectious fright billys, they're literally plaguing red ranks right now.
1 percent speed is nothing and the time required to stack the perk is appalling..its only doable tn because of the oni perk nemesis and that's 2 perk investment for 1 effect..as for infectious killers have very few good perks rn and it's a perk that has counterplay AND a counter perk so really theres 0 room to harp on ot..you want killer metas to change? Try adding more good perks instead of more trash ones

While that clown buff would be more balanced, I don't think it would be that fun for anyone. Like the Freddy rework, just because something's balanced doesn't mean it's fun or healthy. I wish Clown's power could change completely and have an intoxication system like the doctor's madness and maybe the survivors would have to detox or else their UI would be obscured or something. The clown's current kit is boring as ######### and I don't want another viable boring killer that takes no skill to play and can still consistently kill you. (cough, Freddy, cough)
Until survivor requires actual skill I'd say theres 0 room to complain

It was actually mentioned originally that your would complete the Rift by the time you finished the Tome, although this was based on the original Tome. At first, the Tome would have taken much longer to complete, meaning that you would have many more matches played and many more fragments - and tiers by extension - as a result. After receiving feedback on the Tome, we decided to make the challenges easier, although we mentioned that it would mean that you would need to continue playing matches after finish the Tome to finish off the Rift.
This is the post where it changed, for reference: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/108232
When we originally planned the Tome and Rift, we had designed it in such a way that you would earn enough fragments from Player XP to finish The Rift by the time you complete all the challenges. Since the challenges can now be completed in fewer matches, you may need to play additional matches after completing the Tome in order to reach Tier 70 in The Rift.
I feel the actual non challange grind should be sped up..it takes so long just to grind a couple levels without challanges and it just feels tedious
-

Pig. She just needs a few number changes in everything but the RBT's and she'd be top tier viable.
No need for RS.2 base, which I have explained before why it's a bad idea. No need for RNG adjustments, just a few QoL changes and boosts.
And a total add-on rework. Bar a few decent ones. All of about 8 of them.
I can respect that

You forgot his biggest pro: He has quickscope and absolutly no counterplay beside hoping the killer has bad aim. And thats the end of discussion for buffing him already.
If anything, he needs a nerf. Might be that he is weak on PS4 because stinky controls, but on PC when versing a good Deathslinger you are dead when within LOS.
He has an aiming animation and projectile delay you can relax now
