Egc is fine as is. It prevents survivors from holding the game hostage whilst also not discouraging altruism too much. No reason for DS to deactivate during egc except killer entitlement to free kills. DS secures trades and that's fine. Moris still encourage tunneling so that's not really the best change.
Never said it was disabled and it's more fair than what we currently have
-
Debatable..hes fun but he wastes too much time to be viable imo

So you want the 3 minute timer to start once the gens are done, Mori is now base kit, and best part of all during egc you now have no more chances even if you weren’t hooked because it’s not fair to the killer that they didn’t get any kills. So best choice is to just make it to where every survivor is on death hook. No the egc change and the hook change is a bad idea however the Mori and key changes are good.
You clearly didnt read what I wrote very well..
-
I say this us unwise as itll encourage even more people to throw games for the hatch..the mechanic is badly designed as it is
-
Hmm..honestly the perk is kinda bs so I'm not exactly upset over this but..it should be fixed as it's part of the game

yeah obviously not with your comment

no it is this guy is oviously one of those intitled killers who think that only survivors should be punished for their trash playstyle
Lol hey man think what you want..doesnt change the fact dcing is punished and thank god it is..punishes those who deserve it for ruining matches and trying to screw the scoring system..and posts complaining about that are amusing to read

I tried to reply once but it deleted my comment for some reason.
I do have a sensitivity to some noises, sometimes. It's usually only when I'm tired / have just woken up, though.
I will try turning my volume down during my next few games against Docs and see if that has a positive effect!
Thank you for giving me another angle to explore, @immortalls96! <3
Yw, I try

I have tried adjusting my brightness / gamma / etc, but I think the issue is linked to having to focus through the intense static for the skillchecks, while still looking around at the environment.
I can't seem to figure out exactly what they changed about the static, in the rework, but I'd happily go back to the previous static animation and the skill checks that bounce around / show up anywhere on screen, than deal with the headaches. :(
Doc is a viable red rank killer now, and I love that. I really do. I'm not saying he should be nerfed, just that a tweak may be needed if this is affecting a larger player base than just myself and a few others. :/
Hmm..are you sensitive to noise?
-
I'd recommend adjusting visual settings , not much else can be done without needlessly tarnishing his motif

I could go in depth about why Freddy is too strong comparatively but I think this sums it up perfectly:
no other killer can spam their power without some risk involved
Just because he isnt grossly underpowered doednt mean that's a bad thing

This discussion is not about Freddy's power level and/or weaknesses. This discussion is about the amount of skill/effort required to get maximum results out of Freddy's power.
Honestly I'd say that's largely irrelevant considering the effort required on those he vs to negate his abilities temporarily..there are 3 ways to wake up and one does it for 90 seconds , which means he has to hit you or your not being pressured for almost 2 minutes..either way it's kind of a give and take..to get the most out of freddy isnt a mechanical skill ceiling..much like trapper it's about strategic trap placement and planning ahead of time..so its completely different from huntress or nurse which requires more mechanical skill
-
This is the first mori idea outside my own I've seen in a very long time that was not the typical lazy "Make it work on death hook" and that's it crap..this is actually kinda neat and repurposed moris which is exactly how I think this should be handled
-
Ignoring those who fail to be objective freddy already has a big weakness in that he has no power outside the dream world in chase, plus he has a cd on his gen teleport, waking up can be done in several ways with ease, and he loses his teleport altogether during the EGC..Its this kind of convenient leaving out of factors that nearly brought dbd down in the past..its why freddy ended up how he was for over 2 years..hes honestly very well designed this time around and along with doctor really shows progress in their design choices..not everyone will be happy with it but when you look at the big picture the only issues freddy had were already addressed in patches prior to now
-
The mori change stands out because it's honestly the same lazy fix that many people have..I have half a mind to repost my mori and key rework from months ago..moris need to be repurposed not removed
-
Honestly I think ghost fave may end up nose diving power wise if they "fix" his reveal mechanic
-
As a person who mains nurse this sense update was a god send
-
Nooooo...lol you underestimate just how terrible that would be..old exhaustion was basically that and it was game breaking

Not everything needs a incentive. I don't understand the dbd community. Everyone expects something in return to make up for lack of etc etc.
Survivor mains expect killers to get some sort of a nerf when their toolboxes are reworked and same goes for killers.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1249650#Comment_1249650
Change isn't bad. If the game doesn't eventually get new tweaks added to keep the games stability, the game will never get any more popular. Instead it will be the same repetitive nature it's always been 2 years ago. Not saying the overall objectives need to be change but there should be more dynamic ways to do them.
I think adding another layer of balancing is good because there is lack of it in dbd. Only serious balancing that I felt was needed was toolboxes. Hook respawn rates didn't need much of a change but they did it anyways and much weren't pleased with it but oh well we still play the game.
Sabo isnt healthy but they wanted it in the game in a semi healthy state , that's very different than making a change that will undermine every balance change made to loops..its just not worth

There's nothing wrong with adding another layer of balancing to the game. It wouldn't be hard to add 2 new hit boxes for the killers. I don't see a problem with it.
I think it's hard to accept that some killers shouldn't have the same reach as others.
Another layer of balancing that is not needed..even either one different lunge for 110 killers it was horrible..doing more would do nothing but make killer less appealing which is the last thing the game needs rn

i have buddies who d/c almost every match now cause of the camping/tunnling they all get the same penalty 30 min. i d/c once and get 24 hours sorry but you are wrong here it is not working as intended
Then stop dcing..deal with it like everyone else does..its not rocket science
-
You clearly are dcing quite often if you got 24 hours..more like you dcd about 6 times would be closer to the truth..if that's the case your exactly who the system is targeting and therefore working as intended
-
Billy for the post but either spirit or doc..they change the feel and pace of the match and theres little to no time where it feels like I'm alone on an empty map which is the main issue with many killers , no presence or no chase power

Eh I disagree. It's just a way to balance all the killers to make up for the lack of literal sense for the killers.
It doesn't make sense that a freddy has the same range as someone with a katana. It just doesn't make sense.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1246765#Comment_1246765
Movement speed isn't the same. Also this topic is on length not lunge.
Balance > logic, especially in a fantasy game
-
Mind breaker, monstrous shrine , surge, cruel limits, zanshin tactics..none of these provide much value or have very few synergy with most killers
-
I've heard his fov is screwed up causing slower looking animations..wraith looks to have the same issue going
-
That just adds another layer of tweaks that can make or break a character with honestly no benafit to the game, itll only make certain killers worse just to do so, I find that very unwise
-
While I understand the rather I'll look on the perk theres a few issues
1..noed cannot be changed unless adrenaline is hit just as hard, it isnt fair otherwise from that alone
2..there are only 3 semi decent hexes to begin with and it's so easily dismantled with multiple perks/items it needs to remain impactful..and since totems arnt planned to be more durable rn I cant see a way to do it
3..If camping is to be weakened then killers need a strong end game tool given because between end game ds and bt..survivors hold all the power end game if a noed totem fails to spawn in..cant nerd the effect if you fail to address the cause
-

Well honestly, I dont think there should be a change to the original 4 (Trapper, Wraith Billy Nurse ) Just to keep the nostalgia from when the game first came out although i do agree some mori's are bland and boring such as The clown, And leatherface , Maybe even freddy and there is definitly room for improvement
Well 1 nostalgia would come from some base designs but the moris are mostly disliked more than thought of for nostalgia..second I doubt it would be an issue as the implication is killers may have moris as a new cosmetic option obtainable via rift rewards
-
The first while interesting I imagine would be difficult as it limits its usage to cosmetics as a factor..but neat , as for clown..damn lol
-
On their way luckily

@Seanzu said:
Ahhh yes, they should not do any of the things they're required to do to win.
Instead of holding M1, they should hold M2 and stand silently next to a generator and hope it completes itself.
Instead of holding W, they should hold E, in hopes that the killer whiffs all their hits
They don't even have to throw down pallets as they're holding E, and will win automatically!
Ah, onto the god loops, which are being removed in the next patch and is completely irrelevant to the stuff before this point, because the stuff before this point is actually relevant & necessary to play the game.
and also the rinse and repeat thing, I too agree that survivors should play one match and never come back onto the game :)
Honestly killer has never been easier, it's only been getting easier, y'all need to get better at the game, seriously.
Gotta love a good dose of ignorance

Honestly, I don't think most of the moris need updating. Ones like Hag, Spirit, Pig (it's a reference to a scene in the movie, iirc) and most of the later killers are all great. Deathslinger and Oni IMO are two of the best moris in the game, I think they're amazing. The only ones that really need changing completely are original killers like Trapper, Wraith and Billy to a degree.
Wraith, doc and nurse could also be way better
-
Yeah I feel ya..lots of room for improvement
-

Even though it probably would be difficult to do, I love to see a Moro that uses all 4 of the Legion characters, or even 2 at a time.
That would be pretty awesome
-
Trust me my friend..doc is only good now if the player understands him..and if you as survivor dont understand him then you will make mistakes and he will punish..as the killer should always be able to do

probably not as good as you think you are.
And you likely dont olsy her at all
-
Killers have to do more for their bp..they're outnumbered and are much more reliant on addons..plus both items and addons can be farmed in game as survivor especially with perks

So having counterplay removes fun? Didn't know that, thanks for letting me know.
Lol considering he has the very simple counterplay of say..staying out of his tr oh and lockers, oh and calm spirit..I'd say you should do a tad more research before you speak..some of us are kind of experianced
-
Honestly this game would be sucked dry of any fun if every one of these posts was taken overly serious...the killers job is to stop you..not to mildly inconvenience you..jeez
-
The most easily countered petk killers have is being posted about yet again...people seriously need to get a grip
-
Not a good idea..items should be boosters, never direct counters to killer powers..its a poor design and is easily abused that way
-

they are there and the good ones are still godly.
I'll believe that when I see it..because last I checked..every nurse main of repute either quite her entirely or says shes just screwed rn..so I'm more leaning toward their thoughts..plus as a nurse main myself I can very well see where she stands

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/145099/why-is-demogoron-not-powerful
Demogorgon IS powerful, he is just hard to play, his shred is punishing and you gotta learn where and when you should place your portals, but once you learn to play him properly you can cut basically every loop while also appyling an unholy amount of pressure
Incorrect ..his foundation is in the right place but his number values make him mediocre in pretty much every sense

But the problems from doctor doesn't come on him approaching you. He have an AoE (with quite low cd) that reveals the position from survivors, besides putting them into madness, and in chasing, besides bloodlust, he can straight up spams his skills, difficulting the run. But i guess it's just a matter of time to learn how to deal with it. :)
A minute is the longest cd in dbd by far..try not to discredit yourself if you wish to make a point
