It's just unfair when you managed to stay awake up until the chase and you fall asleep mid chase anyway without freddy having to hit you at all.
Make his timer pause mid chase and he'll be fine
Just goes back to what I said about prioritizing..you know it will happen and when , and have 3 ways to escape it..it is more than fair..if you let it get to that point then that is on you

I'm not trying to avoid strong killers, I'm trying to see what would make him feel better to play against without actually taking away from his strengths. As i have said, I'm new to making suggestions so I'm lowkey just spitballing to see what would be a good change.
No matter how you slice it..surv mains of the less open minded variety wont take anything less than a nerf..

Thanks for clarifying, this makes sense. What if instead of it being something he activates, it's something that slows down during chase. Rather than completely stop going as I believe someone suggested. this would reward being in a chase, and also wouldn't be too bad a nerd for Freddy because of the fact that he could hit the survivor to put them into dream state.
I just dont feel it's necessary, we shouldn't be avoiding strong killers..quite the opposite especially with an mmr system coming ? Mediocre wont cut it anymore

It would only make him like before if he couldn't hit people not in dream state. What exactly is the sleep timer forcing them to prioritize?
Whether to wake up and be safe from freddys powers..or prioritize gens..cuz you know, survivor should require SOME decision making man
-
Ah..no..that would just make him like he was before...the sleep timer is there to force survivors to prioritize
-
The difference items for survivor are merely a luxury, perks more than gove survivors all they need, killers are a different story

Yes if I get there first. I'm dead center and got there first. Why is it that killer can be on the side and still close it? I think its dumb.
It's as if your next to something several times your characters strength

A lot of people agree with me, not saying you have to.. ofc you wouldn't know that though, because you clearly didn't read as far as to read "THIS IS MY OPINION."
Opinion: You do not have to agree with.
S i m p l e .
Right..a lot of people whom have 0 room to talk balance as they dont know what they speak of
-
Recommendation..dont say we..this is about YOU..not everyone agrees with the typical printed argument
-
Hmm..I'd like it if the Jack's started playing when the gen was touched, then at the end of the song if not disarmed would explode and incur the injured state to avoid it feeling cheap, it would also cause the gen to fall into the damaged state and leave a temporary gas cloud..nice pressure tool
-
Because he weaponized the already crazily strong 3rd person camera survivors have..that kind of absurd weakness needs something to counteract it

Not really.
2 examples - Unbreakable and Left behind. Unbreakable got it's numbers changed (buffed), incresed by 10%. Left behind was completely changed (reworked) doing a completely diffrent thing.
Giving something another ability but still having the previous ability means it was buffed.
In this case it's a bad idea..that's my whole point..I'd figure it was obvious

"Buffing almost always changes the perks use entirely"
In dbd yes
-
People gotta blame something for their short comings now that nurse is not around
-
That depends on how many killers you understand lol..those people have shown they dont even know how the killer works
-
I wasnt mixing up the two meanings

Wondering why they brought in the "no bleed" perk with the Oni chapter, which has literally no other effect than countering Oni power (I know that there is a minority of killers actually looking at bloodstains in rare situations, where scratchmarks and groans are not sufficient to track the survivor)
Yeah certain perks would be so dumb if they targeted specific killer powers

I'm just saying ._. In the post i replied to it sounded like you were mixing buffing something and reworking something.
No

Buffing =/= reworking.
Most of the out dated perks are dated to the point of reworking..you think monstrous shrine will get a number buff? No....but it's not like I've just basically gone over that the devs specifically have said they dont wish for perks to target killer powers and for good reason
-

How would a 5% stagger affect a window loop to the point of absurdity? Stagger was added to remove some infinites, however, that was prior to window blockage and it effectively removed any and all reason to ever go to some parts of the map unless a hex totem happened to be there. 5% of what survivors experience is large enough of an effect to have some slight punishment without affecting the game too much(seriously, we're talking 0.3 seconds here at most, while survivors experience 3 seconds at most).
Killer nerfs hit way harder than survivor nerfs..it would feel like crap and make the map balancing even more of an issue
-
Yeah..but hopefully they give her another pass..tweak her addons as needed and boot the blink recharge
-
Pass..window loops would be absurd
-
Then what's the point of changing it?
-
That's when you rely on baits and predictions over perks ..spirits run stridor to weaken iron will to begin with

I am sure they talked about buffing certain perks and Slippery meat was one of them. It was mention quite a few months ago.
Buffing almost always changes the perks use entirely and they said they dont want perks to counter killer powers directly either..slippery meat has only stayed because it's too weak to be a priority
-

And you dont think it will be changed ? Lol

Perks targeting killer powers should be avoided as they're by design unfair and abused by cheaters..plus survivor peks shouldnt have that much impact since its 4v16 on perks already

I said reverse-bloodlusting. Slowing the Survivor down while not breaking the Pallet.
Ok..? So if a chase is lasting beyond 15 seconds..at that point your winning..so..who cares..?
-

Oh right, let me wake up against that reverse-bloodlusting Freddy with his Snares, while I am being chased. Nothing easier than that!
He doesn't get bloodlust when using snares anymore..someone skipped that homework assignment lol
-
Here..but..she needs a tune up..the devs made some bad choices
-
Why not? Hes solid, billy is bugged, and there are scream challanges

It’s underrated but still not a great perk. It only procs twice for me in the average game which is only 16% regression.
I could make a list of issues with that perk lol
-
Weak..barely touches the gen and is reliant on where the survivor takes you for it to be effective, the devs hilariously thought it was a good perk and made it even worse before release..now it just sits being put in niche builds for the occasional meme..its sad honestly

Monitor & Abuse with Save the Best for Last.
I honestly just want to DC every time I see a Deathslinger. He's not fun to vs at all.
But I suck it up and wade through the bs. Even though he has no penalty for missing shots, his Aim Down the Sight speed is ridiculous.
Plague gets her power completely removed when someone stuns her on a pallet and she has a major debuff to her speed when charging her vomit, Huntress has a windup and needs to reload her hatchets on a locker.
Plague is a weaker killer..not a good example and huntress beats death slinger easily
-
Well..at least this is honest bait I guess..?
-
Lol and this class is how you spot someone with no idea how a character works
-
Iri heads are severely overrated..but..My ideas was to reduce hatchets to 3 base, but every hatchet applies mangled until healed , exaustion for 30 seconds, and hindered for twenty seconds, and the very last hatchet in your inventory becomes a one shooting axe..this to me sounds way more fun and imaginative than making the addon useless as most people seem to propose

Or just rework it in general, and just put it like it’s not an exhaustion perk, it’s just something I have in my mind.
Then its overpowered because it has no downside..like I said..it got changed for good reason
-

Yes, but BHVR has been reworking maps and will keep doing it. And being honest it was only two maps wich were the licensed ones.
Which have not been touched and even then it was still too much for it to be so different from other exaustion perks..no need to go backwards on progress
-

Okay, I feel like this is a good idea and maybe you use like once or twice so it’s kind of more balanced what would you think then?
It doesnt need bonus effects..no other exaustion perk has or needs them..they are free extra chase time as is..
-
No..it used to do that and it made some maps extremely busted..hard pass for me and good riddance
-
No hes perfectly fine..makes survivor more interesting because it's more interactive than..I hold button long enough I win..survivor has literally put me to sleep before
-
Its benafits require no work from you and blocks a lit of things at once..plus survivor perks should never be as wide spread in effectiveness as killer perks otherwise it quickly gets out of hand
-
Her hitboxes work as intended it's just latency makes what each side sees vastly different
-

But at the same time it uses a perk slot, requires a survivor to have an item with no addons, and only gives one of these bonuses at a time.
Personally, I like the idea.
Run plunderers instinct and instantly you get access to super items using a perk slot means nothing to survivor and addons on items isnt that important except maybe medkits..but it's still way too much for one perk to give as a survivor
-
Seems too stromg..gives way too many strong benafits for one perk..no killer per gives this much value even
-
@xChrisx said:
She was broken, it took 3y but she finally got balanced
Yes she was..but because her addons were extremely dated..at base she was well rounded
-
@Ghoste said:
I really don't feel like the cooldown is that long. There are even add-ons to reduce it. If anything you should be complaining about the long list of bugs Nurse has. She is still the best Killer in the game when not bugged.
Even with double cd reduction its bad..remember..she has to blink constantly..now add 5 seconds to the gens each time she blinks..this is just from the cd alone..not taking into account travel time or wind up, then imagine it taking 2-3 blink cycles to catch up for a hit on a survivor..That starts to add up very..very..very fast..now you see the problem

I'm gonna guess you were a nurse main
Tbh it didn't really do that much, I bet you play on console cause nurse was so hard to use on console and now even harder, but bhvr did balance her out on pc cause she was way to op in pc
It did way more than you think
