Thanks for the tips
Hope it proves helpful

You need to understand one thing, dont go for option a or b..go for c..if you run straight away from her to prevent a stand still hit then of course you'll get hit..her entire kit depends on her being unknown, without it she would never do anything , you need to double back, fake vaults , make use of her lack of collision, remember she will make a move quickly because she doesnt have time , throw pallets on the opposite side of where you were going , etc..lots of little things to make her second guess herself

Moris only hurt you if you let them. Like, if you have an easy final hook and can take the time without sacrificing other emblems, totally, go for the hook. If you have one survivor that might have DS crawling towards the exit, though, the mori will help you where extra BPs won't.
Yeah but I'm just saying using it hurts you

Well, most people just use BP offerings that have zero effect on the game, so even a yellow mori is more likely to help you rank up than most killer offerings. But still, it would be cool.
Actually moris cost you devout points

That'd take a lot more work to do, but I do like that idea.
Better than tossing moris in the trash and never getting to use them without deranking

Funnily enough, they can.
Not when theres an unbreakable

I'm open to a more exciting idea, provided we still nerf them into the ground. They're crazy OP now, especially the ebonies. Unless the killer is terrible it's basically a throw-away game when they bring a mori.
I want moris to be used like ph uses his mini mori, and the offerings granting chunks of bp for mori kills, except cypress just toss that in base, more fun finish to the trial, survivors die on hook then anyway
-
Ds robs the killer of any end game plays
Bt removes the risk of hook bombing most of the time
Unbreakable wouldnt be too bad however paired with soul guard or ds it's an extreme game changer and a garunteed extra life no matter what the survivor does, no counter play at that point
-
Because survivors in a party have way too much power..a killer can lose a gen before locating one person..and if chases are not short you have no chance of winning, as for ph..hes honestly almost weak..if he didnt have his zoning hed be weak..his line attack is the reason for this, it's so slow and narrow it can be avoided easily, plus dead hard is a garunteed miss with heavy punishment because of the attack cd..he honestly needs that straightened out

Solo que experience I guess.
Oh yeah. Combined with terrible matchmaking
-
Well..what do you expect when the team feeds themselves to the killer and doesnt know how to chase? Weve all been there
-
@[Deleted User] said:
I'd prefer moris be nerfed in a different way. For example, make the ebony mori let you mori everyone when they're on death hook only. Make the green mori only apply to the obsession on death hook (you could still get multiple death hook moris if your obsession switches). Keep the yellow one the same.
That's so lame and does nothing though..unimaginative
-
Yeah ...would be nice
-
Hes good..needs practice at high ranks but he is good at bp farming and has a lot to learn

How?
U use a purple key, only you get out.
You use pink you can get out 2 at the most. That means they would have had to complete 3 gennys already, then find the hatch and avoid the killer getting 1 of them
Because most key escapes are for two people because they're losing..in this case..keys would still be the same while moris would be pretty much gone..not an equal exchange
-

I think cypress should be basekit as well. They already made death on hook instant when you're the last survivor anyway.
I'd say get rid of ebony and make ivory ultra rare.
Then purple key let's 1 person out and pink lets 2 people out.
But then it's still broken for survivors
-
I'd like moris to be used in the same way ph does...then just add cypress to base kit and turn the other two into bp offerings that reward mori kills..moris are less drastic,- way more fun..and helps balance end game ds

Nope

Or you know..we could accept you'll get the crown without many issues and realize this is to prevent scummy play on both sides..
-
Hillbilly hasnt had his camera fixed in months and still has a longer stun because of animation issues..

@Peanits said:
This isn't something we'd really want to do. If you are intentionally giving someone the hatch, you're doing the opposite of what you're supposed to do as the killer. That's not to say that you aren't doing something nice, but the emblem system and bloodpoint system aren't meant to reward you for being a nice guy, they reward you for playing well.
That said, part of the reason why it's such a nice thing to do is because you're sacrificing something for yourself to give to someone else. You're giving up points and giving them points instead. If you were rewarded all the same no matter what, it would create an expectation that you should always do it. You don't lose anything by doing it, so people would naturally assume you're being selfish if you hooked them and denied them points. That part, more than anything, I'm not crazy about. Suddenly doing what you're supposed to do makes you a bad guy.
Lol a bit late for that I think
-
Hopefully we can make a trade for a charm slot or something because these would be so great as an extra
-
Not at all, if he were 110 hed be trash
-
Ps4 had it like that too before a patch after the event started..fingers crossed this is a good sign?
-
Thos would kill spirit..this game is a 1v4..chases should NEVER be on equal terms or the game is imbalanced..that's the issue with this game
-

I get why they don't let you put the crown on over every head cosmetic. Same way they don't allow it with bloody appearances. But I think they should at least let it be used with the the prestige heads of every character. Since it's basically the same skin. It's just annoying especially for killers who look weird when they have the crown on a skin that doesn't match. For example I like having fully prestiged hag skin on but I'd also like the crown on. It's just annoying
Or billy who's entire body is his head ..and thos would be much easier to fix than blood as it's not attached to the killer at all
-
@Mew said:
i wish they wouldve just, added an option to make it work for every head piece. its not like itd make the cosmetics look weird since its off of the head
Yeah..fingers criss they consider changing
-
As killer you just grab it before survivors or kill who has one..as survivor you need to escape

I see! That would be a really nice idea! I prefer some of the hairs from different cosmetics as opposed to the default (Nea and Feng) so it’d be nice seeing it. On the other hand, if you see how they’ve organised the event, the crowns are attached to the headpiece meaning that they’d have to add a headpiece to every current head cosmetic... which could be difficult.
Considering they wouldnt have to worry about clipping due to the floating nature of the crown it may not be so bad
-

There's the other discussion where they talk about a new cosmetic slot where you can just have things float behind your head, the Crown being the first one.
Or have it be a Charm, though not everyone likes that idea as not everyone cares about those.
I'd trade a charm slot for that crown in a snap

Well those pieces can still be equipped individually, right?
So i thought of the Crown + the other 2 HB pieces.
Can't test right now though.
Yes you can..but I'm talking full sets here..the crown isnt attached to the head itself..maybe they could do something with this..plus..billy alone has to give up his entire torso and head to wear the crown
-
@Boss said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1379210#Comment_1379210
What do you mean?
Well I'm imagining the crown if it could be paired with my hallowed blight cosmetic..it would just be incredible
-
@Boss said:
Got it on my Wraith, that's all i need.
It's okay i guess, it just doesn't work with my main set of cosmetics.
Gotta experiment a bit, the parts from the Lunar event might work with it.
Still..seems like something that everyone would have adored
-
It doesnt have to be since it's not even attached to the head however
-
@Kai6864 said:
Why get a crown if you’re not wearing it on your head? I think a charm would have been pointless because of how the charms work- if one charm is unlocked for one character, they all are, which doesn’t encourage playing through all the original characters.
You misunderstand I want them as is..but I'd rather give up a charm slot to have them with any head piece..it would be really nice

That basic attack lock after cancelling lasts roughly half a second. Which is near to unnoticeable.
How am I being punished?? By what? What are you talking about?
My post is about comparing The Plague's Vile Purge cancelation cooldown and PH's PotD cancelation cooldown. I am not arguing about PH's viability, strength, or "how easy it is to dodge his ranged attack". I am not saying he is OP. Because he clearly isn't.
Well then theres 0 point to this post
-
He needs his line attack to be improved otherwise I cant complain..though haddonfield really kneecaps his power

Huntress does have a cooldown when cancelling tho. And also after throwing a hatchet. She slows down and cant m1. Which is needed cuz if not she would be too strong. IMO PH needs to get a slow down when putting down trails OR a cooldown when cancelling his trails or BOTH. I can't handle them disrespecting my queen Plague like this.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1377169#Comment_1377169
Plague's attack doesn't go through walls, it is easily avoidable, her red puke gets cancelled if she is stunned by a pallet, PLUS she has to charge her power, which slows her down btw, to then puke. PH can just wait a few seconds for his power gauge to charge, put the sword down and immediately use PotD. If he misses he just needs to wait 2 more seconds to fill the bar a bit and then use it again. He gets no slow down when putting down the trails, he has no cooldown when cancelling, so in the end he is getting a guaranteed hit. What about that is "not how PH works"???
Also, I went through the trouble of writing "regular power" aka. her GREEN puke, so people wouldn't confuse it with her red puke. I'm fine with her cooldowns when she's using corrupt purge. What I'm not fine with is her cooldown for cancelling vile purge. I brought it up because PH's power DOES injure survivors. Huntress has a cooldown when cancelling, so why doesn't PH? (And yes, Demo doesn't have a cooldown when cancelling but his Shred isn't that problematic).
1..learn your killers because ph has 2 slowdowns when planting his sword , 2 he has a long miss cd on top of an extremely easy dodged attack, AND he has an attack lock out after canceling..seems to me you really dont know this killer and are just being punished for that fact
-
1..not how ph works at all..2 plagues ranged attack that does damage is much more powerful than ph punishment of the damned
-
Why would I care if someone has a cosmetic I like on? Why does it matter?/ if anything I get to see it more and that's awesome..I never understood the absolute sheer toxicity of this

This, granted I’m still learning him but his attack is slow enough that a survivor can avoid it and then it becomes all about that mind game... I know I know coin flips right??? Except they aren’t, I had a survivor who stepped to the right 3 times in a Row, on the 4th I guessed that’s when they would finally come back left and they did bang. But you know even that wasted a lot of my time
Yeah..I had a claufette mid vault a window and still had time to avoid the attack

That takes one second according to the wiki, so my statement isn't wrong.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1372348#Comment_1372348
He ends chases too quickly because he removes the power to loop or vault if you're good with your aim and his power creates a guessing game that makes you choose between two negative outcomes. You say that people shouldn't complain because they can't loop him, but they can't even USE pallets or vaults against him unless far away from him. They can't even just pre-throw pallets because he knocks them with his ability. Again, this might just be because the only times I've faced him are on the map that seems like it has an 80%+ kill rate but I feel he's a little too strong considering all the map changes we've had recently already to where there are fewer good pallets or even good looping spots outside of TL walls which aren't on every map. As for the killer being strong, no one ever said he should be WEAK.
As for the "getting a hit means nothing if it isn't a down", you can do that same exact thing at the next pallet, so a down shouldn't take long.
I encourage you to play him then you'll quickly understand your very wrong about him..in fact his chase is nearly handicapped by how easy the line attack is to avoid..he cant shoot on reaction he has to prefire so early that he will miss all the time if you understand him from the killer pov..you'll see..he needs improvements to his line because you will rarely get hits outside of animation locks unless the survivors are just plain bad..people are just making falling for it because they dont know him but that will change very quickly
-
That will be nice..itll actually allow shack mind gsmes..plus it looks sick
-
Tried it..got abused
-
Killers cooldown animations are bugged badly on a few killers
-
This would be excessively abused
-
That would make her way too easily counterd..she cant see you and shes the 1 vs the 4..the need to read your killer is her strength..remove it and she becomes trash..not a good idea
-

Literally all you have to do is place a tiny portion right at the entrance to the pallet. You barely lose anything to make someone leave a loop.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1372250#Comment_1372250
You said his torment was "inconsistent", I showed you an EXTREMELY simple method for getting people tormented(unless they left the loop), and you then said that getting tormented was not important(although I disagree, it removes a lot of counters to being picked up, flash light saves, body blocks, DS after being tunneled, exhaustion perks when he rushes straight to the cage, etc). I offered you a fairly consistent way of getting people tormented to counter your point. Sure, it's possible people could just leave the loop, but they're risking getting hit or downed in that scenario, so I don't see how it'd be inconsistent if people wanna live.
I'll say I can't guage PHs strength fully yet, honestly, it may just be the Midwich map which seems like one of the worst designed maps I've ever experienced(literally what bad killers have been begging for forever, empty hallways of nothingness and crappy pallets), as that's usually the only time I face PHs, when I'm on Midwich. That said, from what I've experienced he has a lot of situations that are just in his favor just because when it comes to pallets and windows, which are survivors' only defenses.
The killer should have advantage it's a 1v4..it cant be even by that math , it's not fair if it is, and yes some people will be tormented by the loop trick..but not every survivor lets it happen..also unless it's a down getting g hit means nothing..so if it keeps the pallet up and torment off you it may just worth it..I will say I dont mind mideitvh as much as most do..though I will concede the map has its annoyances for everyone..and it most certainly favors ph..his trails are nearly unavoidable there so you must be very careful
