They can't stack bnp, but still the new perk of the new surv is an abominable thing. People don't consider that op toolboxes with add on ops will be spammed. You can already see matches where they close 5 generators in 1 minute.
-
When the game used to be more balanced, it was absolutely unbalanced as a perk, I refused to use it. Now that practically in 5 minutes survs do all the gens, it's a pretty ok perk (even overnerfed in my opinion)
-
On the one hand I preferred the old ruin, because it forced you to become strong. On the other hand, I understand that it's too difficult to find a totem that, if broken, cancels the perk for the whole game, so the change is there in the end.
I'll never understand the complaints like "Penalize new players", do you mind getting strong? Or rather, I understand them, but the old ruin that you could deactivate by smashing the right totem is one thing, it would be one thing like a very strong thing that cannot be deactivated in any way (And no, Blight and Nurse are not valid as examples since in theory newbies should find newbies Blight and Nurse, not pro players)

How do you take the possibility of gen-rushing away from Survivors? I am genuinely curious about this. I don't know if they even can without outright pulling Gens as a game mechanic out completely.
They've given killers incentives before. We seem to have this same conversation every thread. Incentives do not work if the player is toxic.
Incentives don't work if they don't make sense and aren't useful incentives. How do you set up genrush? Simple, destroy pt, bnp and toolboxes, as they destroyed all slowdowns. Simple isn't it?
I would love to see the generators removed from the game, but completely reworking the game I don't know how convenient it would be. At this point it would be better to directly make a dbd 2
What incentives would they give? Come on let's hear, "Killers, we nerf you pop, eruption, pain resonance, thana, ruin, corrupt because we want to encourage you not to tunnel".
What the devs are doing is not incentivizing mixed hooks, it's trying to punish camping and tunneling. With free kicks you don't get anything, because people will keep doing it as long as it's the most convenient tactic, or if you punish them so much you get to a point where people just quit the game. Again, to fix tunneling you need to fix genrush first. You can't nerf and punish tunneling without blocking genrush, because survs rush their objective, so the killer has to be even faster at killing to counter the speed of the generators. I hope I explained myself.
dbd right now it's a race to see who rushes to their objective first.

That's fair. It would be nice if there was a reqard for P100
Considering how many new players there are, it would only be fair if bhvr put the legacy back on all characters.
-
Until 2020, this game was very fun for both sides. Maybe it was a bit messed up, still had the old DH and old DS, Nurse was at her 100%, every update there was 3x1 bugs (they fix 1 to add 3 new ones) but it was the years of 'gold. 0 tunneling, 0 genrush, just lots of fun. There was a lot more variety in killers since if you wanted everyone was playable even if they sucked, you just had to put in the effort. Now try to 4/4 with Legion or Freddy without freaking out
-
Both are the problem, not only players.
If the devs took away the possibility of genrushing from the survs and gave incentives to the killers not to tunnel (rewards in game, that is), without punishing the tunneling too much, you see how all the possibilities of being toxic and break the game decrease.
-
0 since I don't see why I should p100 a character if the rewards are only from P1 to P10

Puppers has some amazing older content on YouTube he's been here for years but once he had a stroke and was diagnosed with ALS you can watch him slowly degenerate over the years it's really tragic hes such a good dude, they have a cosmetic and a charm for him but noob3, puppers, and monto used to make a ton of videos he was one of the ones I was watching before the game really picked up steam and got to where it is now and he continued streaming even during all the misfortune he had, he will be missed by many and I encourage newer players who don't know him to check him out and look at his older content so you can see for yourself
I still don't know who he is, but I see only good things about him. He's definitely a big loss and since people are really sad, I'd say he's one of those golden people you don't usually see. I'm so sorry

They simply gain endurance for 3 seconds when the get the flag, I think that's what he means, he is immune to hits.
I don't play the Knight because I don't like it as a killer, so I don't actually know if they made any changes since I don't care. However, I also remembered that it gave endurance and not that it made me immune to hits
-
Your favourite characters, but for me none until they add something after the p10. Maybe put legacy on each character when you reach a certain level, and even a unique skin when you reach p100

Gens and maps can't be balanced while we have these 2. Can you imagine if they buff all killers how they will be broken even more?
Maps needs to be super safe because of Blight & Nurse.
Gens needs to be fast because of Blight & Nurse.
So let me get this straight, do you penalize the whole game for two killers? You realize what you're saying right?
They have to nerf the maps because they are mostly surv sides full of god pallets, once there were two god pallets per map to exaggerate, with a few exceptions.
They must nerf all the perks that speed up the generators and all the toolboxes, including add-ons (especially the bnp).
Only then Nurse and Blight can be nerfed. Besides, in all honesty, is it hard for you to learn how to deal with a Nurse? I demolished some of Nurse playing as a surv, it's not easy but not impossible either. Only one Nurse recently busted my ass, but I'm 100% convinced he/she was a cheater because he/she always knew where you were without having anything for aura vision.
I think I've said already that I recognize how strong and, in the right hands op, the add ons of the Blight are. But like I said, until the devs fix the genrush, Blight and Nurse have to stay that way to counter the insane speed of the generators. When all the perks for the gen speed, toolboxes and bnp are destroyed, then nerf the add ons of the Blight and, if you want, further the Nurse (which I don't understand what else you want to nerf, but it's ok).
-
I've never seen a survivor manage to take the knight's flag. Being immune is a bit much, but still you understand that it is not easy to take the flag.
If you mean they're immune to all types of hits, ok that's too much, but if you mean they're immune to hits from guards, who cares.
-
Killers must deal with genrush without slowdown. And no, the 2.5% base, kit the extra 10 seconds and all those "touch-ups" done don't help.
I haven't seen the nurse in a long time against, I see Blight and Wesker more often. And if I'm being honest, given the difficulty and skill they require to be used efficiently, on the one hand it's also right that they're strong. However, I do agree that Blight add-ons are pretty strong, especially if a Blight is really strong and uses Alc Ring + Crow. This combo is truly lethal in the right hands. However, until the genrush is fixed and until all killers can be played without fear of 5th gen starting in the time of a chase, I would argue that both Blight and Nurse can remain as they are.
-
I have no idea who he is, yet this is really sad. A big hug to him and his family.

Except in the DBD hints, '1987' was attached to a clip of a literal scene from Hellraiser. It's not hard to realise 'oh, it's a scene from an iconic horror movie that got released in 1987, that makes more sense than it being FNAF'. And yet they were attacking everyone who tried pointing this out.
I wasn't on the forum, so I didn't saw anything of this. I haven't seen Hellriser, I didn't even know that the teaser was a scene from the film. As I said, I don't justify toxic behaviours from anyone. It's sad that this happened

Nobody posts about ST here because they know the problem is a legal one that BHVR has no control over. I forget where, but Cote said something about him trying to reach out to Netflix multiple times about ST licensing and they won't even talk to him.
It sucks that ST is no longer for sale, but there is absolutely nothing BHVR can do about that, and fandoms with more than 5 collective brain cells between them know that whining on forums about it won't change anything; if they want to pester someone, they need to pester Netflix.
The legal thing came up recently, before this all social were full of people spamming "Bring back stranger things" and something like this. Now it seems that ST fans calmed down, finally

Having fun is ENTIRELY different than balance.
If you enjoy both roles, it means they are both balanced. If you enjoy one role and get stressed and anxious playing the other, something is wrong, especially if you've always been used to playing both roles in chill.

Hellraiser came out in 1987, so yeah, it's a significant year. BHRV clearly didn't expect the rabid FNAF fandom to do what they do best, come up with wild theories and attack people who dare to disagree. People were hyped for Pinhead, once he was revealed. Then the NFT debacle happened.
There were never 30+ posts about ST, even when it was getting removed.
It'd be like adding Winnie the Pooh because he has a single "horror" movie about him. He's still a character that is made for kids.
I repeat, they didn't because they saw what happened to FNAF fans. They do it on Instagram for the simple fact that they can do it there and nobody bans them.
I meant a date in the plot. The storyline of FNAF is half based on the 1987. So it's normal for the fans to think that. Of course, if they've been behaving in a toxic way, there's nothing you can do about it. It was done. It's sad, but hey every community has its toxic part that wakes up in these moments.
"BHRV clearly didn't expect the rabid FNAF fandom to do what they do best, come up with wild theories and attack people who dare to disagree."
Bro, you look like a lot of a FNAF hater to me. It seems to me that you insult the fandom a lot by generalizing. I don't want to assume anything, mind you, but it seems like a lot. That they do a lot of theories is true, for the simple fact that some pieces of lore have yet to be explained and clarified. In what sense "Attack people who disagree"? Since you say they were quite toxic, I guess insulting heavily right?

Vacuum vaults.
Double pallets.
Old Syringe.
Old Styptic.
Actual infinites.
God loops.
Original DS.
Original DH.
Original METTLE OF ######### MAN.
Old BL.
Old Haddonfield.
Blendettes.
Old Blinds.
Instant blinds.
Old toolboxes.
Old medkits.
Original gen speed.
No slowdown from grouping up on gens.
Original see-through Coldwind loops.
Old Mori's.
Old The Game.
Original Doctor.
ORIGINAL NURSE.
ORIGINAL LEGION HOLY #########
Old Freddy.
Peer to peer connection.
Original rank reset.
Rank-based matchmaking.
I could literally keep going. If any other actual veterans of the game would like to add on, please, feel free.
Half of the things you mentioned were fixed in that period of time. Original gen speed was better since there wasn't broken things to speed up gens this much, and slowdowns like pop were efficient. Old ruin alone was really strong to keep gens from flying.
Mettle of man lasted what, like 1 months? I don't really remember, but I remember how annoying it was. Original DS was annoying, but you could've counter it with Endurance, they removed this later. Original Doctor was ######### tier, I know, but even now isn't strong so you know, what changed?
Orignal Nurse, well here I can only agree since was broken as #########.
Old Freddy and Old Legion, ok they got reworked, now are they strong? No.
Rank based matchmaking? I used to find rank 1 players when I was rank 10, the old rank system was anything but done right. And by the way it was better than the mmr.
Original rank reset? We're talking about things in the game here, not quality of life (although I don't know if actually the change to the rank reset system is quality of life but I think you get what I mean)
The add ons to the medkits were annoying, broken and all, but still in that period when you put pressure even with 8 insta heal you lost if you were noob. Now even the noobs win, as long as they make the gen and run away, it's no longer necessary that they learn to do well-done chases. They pull one pallet after another, all or most of them unashamedly safe, rest assured that in less than 30 seconds a gen or two is complete.
The old DH wasn't that much of a problem, it has become a problem in recent years as it stretched the chases too much and considering that gen fly it was obviously unbalanced and didn't reward any type of skill. Usually I faced 4 DH per game, where was the problem? I still won.
The insta blinds are still there, just use some nice add on combos and you're good to go. With "Old blinds" I don't understand what you mean, I'll be honest.
Since you mentioned the original mori, I also mention the original bnp, which fixed a generator instantly. I can mention the old keys or the old hatch. Or can I mention the "I quit for the friend" when hatch got reworked.
I can also mention you the bugs, that each update tripled the bugs, I remember me doing the meme with my friends "Update dbd: 3x1 bugs. You fix one, we give you 3 new ones".
Yes, actually dbd years ago was a big mess, but at least you had fun. I've never had anxiety playing killer, there have been quite a few games on the razor's edge (which there were in particular when I was learning killers like the spirit), but I never got stressed about playing. I played quietly and won one game after another with each killer. I have never seen gens fly as much as they do now.

Like I said, if you don't know the difference, you clearly weren't around. It was everywhere and it was insufferable. I don't see twenty threads a day saying the next Chapter is ST or attacking people for thinking it's something different.
Stranger Things, at least S1, is pretty decently horror. The rest of the show is more horror-adjacent and certainly horror-inspired. FNAF is, at it's core, a game for children and full of cheap jumpscares. You can say, "Oh, but the lore is dark." Plenty of kids shows have dark lore, that doesn't mean they aren't for kids.
The fans DID ruin the Hellraiser announcement because of the teaser. If you even dared to think it was Hellraiser, since ya know, it came out in 1987; oh boy, you did not get out of that unscathed. It was vicious, tons of people got banned here and I think the Reddit banned any mention of FNAF for a long time because of it. FNAF does not have a good rep in the community after that fiasco.
That's not even getting into the IRL stuff, which is why I really don't want it. Like yeah, the fans are ######### and a lot of them are kids. I could get over that part, everyone is a cringy kid at some point, but the IRL stuff is just not something I can give the benefit of the doubt about.
I won't see posts on the forum, and luckily also, but seeing every spam Instagram comment from Stranger things is annoying. You probably know why you don't see 30+ posts wanting stranger things? Because they learned their lesson. They saw that FNAF fans were banned one after another, so they rightly say "I'm not stupid" and don't write it here on the forum.
I saw the first season of stranger things then I stopped because I don't like it, and I tell you it seemed anything but horror. As I will always say, Springtrap would look better on dbd than FNAF. FNAF may have also had some "cheap jump scares" but still had an undeniable success. Also, add that FNAF Security Breach is anything but Jumpscare (not to mention anxiety-inducing parts like the Endoskeletons and Moon's).
Well, I'll tell you, in a teaser I would have put anything but a release date considering the fact that the first part of the FNAF storyline was all based on the "Bite of the '87". From this point of view it can be said that the devs have done their part to unleash the uproar. Having said that, I'm absolutely not condoning any kind of toxic behavior, also because it's unjustifiable, isn't it? I don't remember if I've said this before, but in case I repeat myself, I haven't seen Hellriser so I don't know if 1987 is an important year in Hellriser history. And as I said, even though FNAF fans "ruined" the teaser, people were still hyped for Pinhead. I still don't see the point in saying "They screwed up Hellriser". Sorry but I'm not seeing it.
If you mean only by the fact that they said "it's necessarily FNAF not other stuff", I reiterate a part of "fault" (as I already said, I don't justify toxic behavior in any way and I put "fault" in quotes since it's not a fault actual) is from the devs who put a date in the trailer, probably ignoring the fact that, as I already said, the first part of the FNAF plot and lore was all based on the "Bite of the '87".
Also, as a last thing, I would add that dbd is full of children, like any game. It's not that because it's PEGI 18 then no kids aren't going to play it. So why do we complain about kids when they are already playing dbd? Also, you can't know who you're facing, you don't know who they are in real life.

Holy rose-tinted glasses.
I actually just straight up do not believe you played back then. There's no way you think it was more balanced and have actually played it
Don't believe it, it's not my problem. I just don't see why I should be talking bullshit or falsehoods. If I were a novice I would say it without problems, in fact the way I am made if I were a novice I wouldn't even open my mouth about game problems such as tunneling, genrush and so on, since I wouldn't be an expert. But since I have years of dbd experience, I can safely tell you that the game was much more balanced back then. Both as a killer and as a surv I played without problems. Since you say it was unbalanced, list the aspects that unbalanced dbd in 2018-2020, argue and don't just say "No, it's like that because I say so".
Period 2018-2020, this for me is the golden period of dbd, not only until 2019. My mistake

I really hope they don't do something that dumb. Especially after calling the two coming licenses huge with a capital L.
Springtrap would look great in dbd, whether you like FNAF or not it's undeniable how great Sprintrap would look in dbd (and don't tell me he's a robot rabbit because we have a pink elephant skin for the Clown and rabbits for Legion, which are from Silent hill but still they are rabbits).
Maybe you don't know the lore of Springtrap and that's why you don't see how well it would look on dbd, and no I won't tell you the lore of Sprintrap because I doubt the characters are enough for how long it is.
As I also told Pulsar, Stranger Things fans also spam everywhere that they want Stranger Things back on dbd, but they are fine while FNAF fans are not? No offense to Stranger Things fans, but spamming isn't good even if it's for Jason or Alien, who are very heavy icons

You weren't here for the spam when people thought it was either FNAF or Hellraiser.
Stranger Things fans are also spamming everywhere that they want their chapter back, yet I don't think anyone has ever complained about it.
Considering that FNAF has been in demand since the beginning of dbd and that Stranger Things isn't even horror, premising that breaking balls is wrong whether you are a fan of FNAF, Stranger things or any other brand, I don't understand why people complain about fans of FNAF who (rightfully) want a chapter on dbd, while those of Stranger Things can complain and that's fine.
As I've also said before, I don't remember if it was you who told me, FNAF fans in no way spoiled the Hellriser release on dbd, I had hype even though I've never seen a Hellriser movie. I say this because people are saying that FNAF fans "ruined the announcement and launch of Hellriser on dbd", which is absolutely not true considering that Pinhead is one of dbd's most loved (and successful) killers currently

Ok, so there are multiple possibilities:
1) Your connection: maybe you have some problems with your connection. Try contacting your company that gives you WiFi;
2) If your trying to play with a friend, maybe your friend has problems with the WiFi;
3) Ban: don't panic, I don't remember if it's the same error that comes when you are banned. I only want to consider every possibilities. Some years ago a streamer that I follow was banned from dbd (for error) and when he was trying to play surv, the game given him an error instead of saying "You're banned from the game". If you got banned but you didn't do anything, contact bhvr
4) An error during the loading of the game: sometimes I also found this error, but usually it was not an internet problem. My guess is that while the lobby was loading, the lobby was closed because everyone present had left and therefore the lobby no longer existed.
5) DBD: now, this is an anecdote that constantly happened to me some time ago, I don't know if they fixed it then. When I had many more friends playing dbd, playing together usually worked like this: A couldn't invite anyone, B could only invite D, C could invite anyone, F could only invite D and B. If by chance A tried to invite someone always gave that error there. It may just be that dbd enjoys it and you just have to constantly try to play with your friends
6) You're playing with a friend from a different platform and you/he/she have/has cross play off. Just check the if you have cross play on.
I hope I have been clear, I have listed all the possibilities, in case the problem persists try contacting bhvr.
I apologize for my English, I'm Italian

If you were playing well and you would actually hitting people down and hook them it wouldn't be a problem. And you can counter gen rushing we can't counter slugging me myself can't do anything without another survivor and even then you're hitting everyone down . It's the fact you guys really try to make these solutions like its just all easy and you have no reason to complain about anything. You get gen destroying points off of just oppression so you don't even have to touch anything. The dev's hold your hand the game is completely catered to you guys. And you guys say it's our fault we get slugged ? Just because we get generators done some of us just don't miss skill checks so like I don't know why you have to put it on everyone. And its fact you make up all analogies and have no proof of it but I have multiple clips saved of any of the stuff I said happening so you can't say anything I said was a lie . You hate gen when we get gens done which how were gonna escape like I said you want us to pace ourselves or that's what you resort to
If in 30 seconds they get 2 gens done, enjoy the tunneling, the camping and the slug. Survivors don't seem to play to make the killer have fun, I don't see why I have to play to make survs have fun. You hate kills when the killers get kills done, how killers are supposed to please the entity? If you have a problem with slug, run Unbreakable, No mither, Exponential (I don't remember if exponential it's the boon with unbreakable). I don't think that you face killers that slug every game, like I don't believe people who say they meets 3gen killers every game.

What is genrushing? What are survivors supposed to do? Get off the gen and stand there until you have an established lead then try? Like what are you even saying? Is genrushing the nice way of saying "I cant put out enough map pressure to counter my ego of not dropping chase"
So why survivors complain about tunneling, camping and slugging? I'm simply doing my job. My job as a killer is to kill you, so if I tunnel you, if I camp you, if I slug you, I'm simply doing my job.

There's no way you genuinely think that the game is more Survivor-sided now than in 2018.
Lol in 2018 I will have lost 3 games in the whole year (I'm exaggerating, I lost some of course, but at least I won almost all of them). And it's not that I played 2 hours a day, when I went to school I played 4/5 hours, during the weekend from 8 to 10 hours on average.
In one day I lost I don't know, two games? Usually I didn't even commit and destroyed anyone even without perks or with bad builds (to make you understand the old ruin I unlocked it just before it was reworked, because I didn't feel the need). With old Billy in many games people quit after seeing how straight I pulled the chainsaw without ever taking it off, without even starting a chase. 2018/2019 was the golden age of dbd, and trust me you are one of the few who disagree.

You're ignoring that BHVR only started perk overhauls a year ago *and* said at the time that it would be a frequent occurrence going forward. So I get why it seems like it took years for survivor perk nerfs (since that happened in the first overhaul) and months for killers (since those happened in the subsequent overhaul) but it's purely a new thing they are doing.
One year? The DH has been meta for 6 years. Killer perks struggle to survive 2 months without getting killed by devs. If the devs figured out that in an asymmetric you can't nerf one side without nerfing something with the same soul on the other side, then the game will be balanced. Nerf eruption? Ok, nerf bnp, pt, toolboxes. Nope, nerf eruption, nerf pop, nerf all slowdowns but don't nerf the gen speed stuff. it is so simple to understand that by doing this they unbalance the game, considering that a surv stuff can be carried up to 4 times.
-
@Pulsar said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3437885#Comment_3437885
WHAT IS THIS TAKE?
Simply the truth? Let's not kid ourselves, let's be honest, as I will always say: look at all the patches, how much gen speed stuff have they nerfed? Maybe one, how many slowdown perks have they nerfed? Virtually all, and even very heavily.
The "then devs said" part is pure irony, I don't think they really said it and God forbid, I wrote it just for a laugh since I see too much seriousness on this forum.
You can say "Yes but survs have seen nerfs to important perks", well, the killer? Devs destroyed one slowdown after another without destroying anything on the surv side for gen speed. They destroyed DH after 6 years, the nerf to COH is not too much, maybe exaggerated but since people healed in two seconds it's not completely excessive, then what's up... Iron will? Very occasional perk in my opinion, broken since it canceled stridor without canceling itself (and in my opinion two perks that are literally opposite of each other should cancel each other instead of being like Iron will > Stridor). Am I forgetting something?
Now, let's list all the killer perks nerfed in just over a year's time: ruin, pop, eruption, Overcharge, Call of Brine, corrupt, pain resonance and thana (I hope to have listed all of them). There is a slight difference, but a slight one. Oh, and have devs nerfed Prove, Hyperfocus (not necessary, but to bring back the theme of gen speed), bnp and toolboxes? Mh, no, they didn't. So, let's be honest, there is a HUGE difference

Survivors have been "too strong" since the game's release, lol.
Until 2020/2021 the game was balanced, then devs said "Well, let's make survivors rush gens and let's destroy every slowdown". If you look at every patch you will see the difference in nerf between survivors and killers. Survivors' important perks are nerfed after months/years, killers have seen something different nerfed every month even if not necessary (Pain resonance for example)

What killer players are winning 90% of their matches? Please, introduce us to these god-levels players so we can learn their secrets of success.
Pro streamers who play 16 hours/day don’t count. I’m talking about the average player who plays a few times a week
There is a guy on this forum who is the best of the best killer main in the game (I won't tag him since I don't want that he thinks that I'm making fun of him or offending him). He defends survivors because killer is too easy, he probably can make 12 hooks with Freddy with no perks and add ons! Really an amazing player

In what world can 3 survivors do 2 gens in 30 seconds?
Welcome to high MMR dbd, a place where there are very few people.

Ever tried playing for fast downs instead of slow downs?
Usually in 30 seconds I make the first hook. In these 30 seconds 2 gen pops. But remember don't tunnel, because if you tunnel you're bad.
Casually, when I tunnel, I make the second kill around 2 gens/ 1 gen and half remaining, so I 100% make a 3/4 (I don't slug for the 4/4, I'm happy with the 3/4, it's still a win)
-
Also genrush makes me (and many other killers) want to quit this game, yet I don't think people complain about it as much as slugging, camping and tunneling...
-
Don't trust who say that survivors are overnerfed. They often bring up nerfs that are months and months old. On the other hand, if we look at the killer side, in every patch you can see killer perks' nerfed to the ground. Currently, killers have jolt as their only useful slowdown, pop is occasional, eruption no longer prevents anything, pain resonance was randomly nerfed just because it was used so much, and anyone who says it stays strong has no idea what people are at high mmr.
Yes, survivor is the power role now, they can devour gens without problems since killers don't have efficient slowdown anymore. Survivor is way more chill than killer, even when I win when I play killer I am too stressed. Simply killer is the hard role in the game, it has always been like this, but now it really is hell. Don't listen to anyone who says "Eh but killer is too easy, it's never been easier" because it's a huge bullshit
-
@Ayodam said:
How do you know they’re ‘impossible’ if you can’t see them from the survivor’s angle?
Sometimes survs manage to blind you even if you penetrate the wall (I exaggerate). Seriously though, sometimes survs blind you when it's physically impossible since they hit weird timing and blind you even if you're looking at the wall
-
Obviously no, why should they? In the end it is something that penalizes the killer, and it is known that killers are broken and op, so it's good thing. They should put torches that pass through walls, so maybe they finally balance out these torches that nerfed them a bit too much.
Ok, bullshit aside, it would make more sense to disable torches since putting a lightborn basekit until they fix them would also penalize those who use stuff like flash grenades

Could you please add a screen of the error?

I have faced many killers that have faced the three gen right away. In the old days it was Trapper, Hag, or Doctor who primarily chose that strategy.
In modern DBD it's most skull merchants and some knights. I actually don't mind the three gen strategy as I usually get a bunch of BP and am able to PIP. But I can definitely see why people dislike it.
Rework the killers and maps. Don't buff perks. This is my simple take on "3gen killer"

Tru3 said that around the wekser release that blight was mediocre.
and no he defended eruption because “it rewarded killers for getting downs” when he really defended it because it was the strongest killer perk and it lead to wins
and nah your not supposed to win every game. Most of your games? Sure but every? Nah the game is not built around that
Ok, so around Wesker release blight was the second strongest killer in the game. Big L for tru3.
Eruption rewards killers for down, I think everyone agree with this, but incapacitated is too much. As I said and I will always say, if they changed eruption from "25 seconds incapacitated" to "25 seconds of incapability to touch generators" would be perfect in my opinion, since I always saw eruption as a counter to prove thyself
Probably I say "Win every game" since lot of times when I loose it feels unfair, since I end my chase really quickly and gens pop the same.

Holding a 3-gen from the very start of the game is not the survivors fault.
As I said in a previous post, in my opinion 80~90% of time is surv fault for the 3gen, 20~10% it's the killer holding the 3gen. I never faced a killer keeping the 3gen from the beginning of the match

As we state in the patch notes, this is a temp measure - short term, whilst we look at longer term options
Oh ok, I understand. Thank you

no we are not ignoring that, which is why there's a buff to Deja Vu in the patch notes.
It's the circumstances around the killer going into a match and just setting up for a 3 gen that we're looking to address in the long term. Playing for the game to end in an hour isn't the intended way for DbD to be played.
So, why not just reworking maps to limit the 3gen possibilities? I know it's a lot of works, but instead of buffing a gen speed perks when gens already fly...

Nope, not at all. Sure, it can happen. But there are more than enough instances where a Killer just does not leave their 3-Gen the whole game. And there is not really anything you can do about it as Survivor.
If you're facing a skully or knight I agree, other killers nah, not really. Most of the times I think is survs fault. I think it is like 80~90% time of 3gen survs fault 20~10% killers holding a 3gen. Maybe I'm wrong with the %, but I've never faced a 3gen holder killer. Same for Pinhead box holding, it was a problem, but I've never faced someone using this strategy
-
Ok, I will literally become main knight if they make the Lich king a legendary skin for him.
-
They're ignoring the fact that lots of times the 3gen is survs' fault, because they split bad the map

Tunneling gens doesn’t exist. Only him and his fans use that term. Gen rush yeah that exists when people stack brand new part (which need a heavy nerf) with other gen perks.
when he was talking about blight he said that he was just an ok killer. As in mediocre and that nurse was the only good one. He also makes it seem like spirit was nerfed to freddy levels of bad since he always complains about the nerf when he plays her.
I remember him saying that every hook should be a scourge hook when he was complaining about not having on in the area.
He heavily defended eruption saying that it was fine for the game in its buffed form
he doesnt play against swfs all the time. Anytime he sees a team make a simple play he will point out how they are swf💀. And yeah if you go up vs a top swf then yeah you will lose because your not good enough. Your not supposed to win every game. He is one of those players that can win 9 games but lose one and complain about it being “impossible”
ds is garbage. You make 0 distance and the killer goes back for you anyway so it doesnt help with tunneling.
Do i think gen rush stuff and maps need nerfs? Yes however the dude just cries all the time and he is rude to anyone that disagrees with him
I prefer tunneling gens, not because I'm a fan of tru3, but because in my opinion represent better the situation. I follow him as other dbd streamer, except for one in particular.
Let me ask you something, because I don't know if it's the case. Tru3 was saying that blight is an ok killer when he was on the ptb or was already live?
I don't know everything he says because I usually whatch dbd videos without audio.
He heavily defended eruption? I missed this. If he said something like "Eruption is balanced since prove thyself exist in the game" I agree with him, because eruption was the only actual counter to prove thyself.
"You're not supposed to win every game", well I quite disagree with this, because if you're strong, really strong, you're supposed to win every game. Someone told me that a streamer did 1000 win streak with blight, I've seen this streamer playing and he is very very strong (also if I don't really believe the 1000 win streak thing).

OMG. Go watch lilith omen. Check his VODs. They are quite long. Common sense would tell you that after playing for that long EVERY DAY you will not hop on again to loose on purpose. And if you do, it would be visible on survivors for whole stream to see it.
Just check part of the VOD to see for yourself and maybe ask some more veteran/dedicated people on the stream if he really played all those games and if he cheated those numbers in any way...
Because obviously their followers will say me "Obviously he didn't cheat those numbers" even if he cheated. I'm watching some of his videos with blight, that he's pretty good is undeniable. Of course seeing it used well, blight with alc ring is truly op.
Anyway, don't take it the wrong way, but usually my chases have the same length as his chases... The problem is that the time it takes me to do a chase like this, I find a gen done, the time to hook the surv starts the second. So there is a big difference of gen speed.
I'm absolutely not saying that I'm better than this guy, before you think I believe myself the god of dbd (As some people think, as some on this forum think I think I'm the self-proclaimed best dbd player, that's absolutely not the case and I'd like to point this out), but ok pressure, ok everything, however I close the chases with the same speed as lilith and my opponents start 2 gen time to arrive on the hook. I wonder if this win streak was made when the game was more balanced, because if it was about a year or two ago ok, at the time the Blight was really op, but because genrush was much rarer.
With this, I'm saying that lilith isn't that strong? Absolutely not, indeed, we would only have to learn from someone like this, but for me, even if he is so good, 1000 win streak is still not very credible. And in any case, suppose he actually succeeded, to be able to use the combo of add-ons he uses (alc ring and crow) in such an efficient and perfect way, he must have trained so much, but so much, that he probably took months to get to this level, so it's only fitting that someone who puts so much dedication into learning a complex killer of his own, with a high risk high reward combo, can win so many matches in a row and nerfing it because survivors are too lazy to learn how to face a strong Blight is just ridiculous.
