And it starts

There's a couple of good changes. Off the Record is the no-brainer answer and I really like how the stealth aspect lingers, but new Jolt feels pretty nice to use too without it being a no-brainer on every killer, and Eruption tentatively feels viable as a gen regression choice. And new Botany is great as long as you weren't using it with a medkit (in which case your perk is now dead, and the decision to tack on the penalty is still highly questionable to me.) Lucky Break was already very good but got an internal way to recharge, so did Distortion, and Lethal got a good aura stacking effect that makes it not completely worthless for the rest of the match. And I haven't had a chance to try out Lightweight yet, but that looks like it could be great on a stealth build.
Of course, there's plenty of perk changes that totally missed the mark and I feel you there. Calm Spirit, Coulrophobia, Dark Sense, Inner Focus, Pharmacy, Sole Survivor... and stuff like Tenacity or Saboteur still have places in niche builds but didn't really improve despite their buff.
I don't really understand what that colrophobia buff even does
that's something that'll only concern noobs or people with the reaction time of a rock
-
I seriously stealth doesn't become popular it's the one strategy I just can't stand as killer
-
I swear it was noted in like 2 patch notes ago that spawn logic was fixed

The whole point of the patch was to address the feeling of having to bring specific perks because of unfun aspects of the game. And now we have the same problem in a different area: survivors have to take gen perks to avoid absolute snooze fest 120+ second gens.
Yep I've been forced into bringing prove thyself because I'm not interested in these slowdown stacking games
-
It's top 3
I would go sprint burst for number one new dead hard for number 2 and overcome for number 3
-
New distortion if you ask me this is now an A tier perk
also new overcharge is fun to use
And lightweight has helped a lot
-
- Decisive stun nerf
- calm spirit getting a nerf when it was already a D tier perk
- Useless perk buffs *cough cough colrophobia*
- Pointless botany knowledge changes making it worse to you if you ask me

- The usual suspect posters on these forums having a constant hissy fit in every single thread.
- Armoured Oni's spikes obscuring his dash.
- Monstrous Shrine does not feel healthy, it feels really really bad when I'm on survivor.
- Dead Hard PTSD still lingering when I lunge.
- Edit - The Black Spot when a survivor is hooked seems to be obscuring Kindred/Auras for way too long since the update
How is monstrous shrine so far I assume it's made basement builds more annoying

No jake cosmetic me no vote

Huh, neato
Be kind of nice to be able to talk to my PC peeps when we play games together.
will be useful doing lobbies now
-
Ran calm spirit earlier in the day it's complete crap now don't use it
Was also using decisive earlier and now it's bad as well

I got flak for using Repressed Alliance....I was called a bad player for using it even though it kept the Gen from regressing lol
How does that make you a bad player it's very useful in situations where the gen is like 95%

You can run anything in this game and you'll still be judged.
I will never forget the time a killer got mad at me because my Flip-Flop allowed me to escape a match once.
I've gotten flak for using soul guard supposedly it's a crutch perk noobs use
-
Use ds oh wait it's 3 seconds now

Oh, don't even get me started with that...
Had a nurse eat my decisive and was instantly downed because I didn't have enough time to go anywhere
-
Try to use decisive it's pretty pointless now

totally agreed , sadly certain killers can abuse the nerf to DS to tunnel even better. (and that isnt good)
but other than that yes i have no complains about the patch at all , only the DS change was a bit to extreme.

WUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTT , okay.
Besides dead hard it literally was
-
Killer was fine before the update
-
We console players didn't exactly get to test out how these perks feel

As I wrote in another post. Is thanataphobia a good antidote to other survival benefits.....
Oh, and I haven't mentioned BNP's and toolkits yet...
If I can recall brand new parts have been bugged for like 2 months and don't do anything
-
I wonder why the ability to use them really didn't hurt anyone
-
4 games of survivor so far 3 have been legions stacking slowdowns
what a fun patch
-
Not a fan of certain perk changes still going through like 3 second decisive stun and the self care changes
-
@Nicholas said:
None of it makes sense, for the most part, slow down perks are now more powerful and more appealing than ever. Especially when coupled with the base kit slow down changes. All I'm seeing is killer still running slow down perks, so matches are just dragging out and boring.
Killer meta change really didn't change
it went from standard gen regression and slowdown to different gen regression and slowdown perks
-
I imagine the killer queues are more populated right now people usually try new killer stuff when updates happen
-
I wish stridor was actually reworked to be usable on more than one killer
-
eh I haven't really done this since mmr was added after all why would I give someone mmr
-
no #########? this happens every time a nerf or a rework is announced for something powerful
people constantly used insta heals when their nerfs were announced
-
Yep haven't played since June 30th waiting for this update
-
I remember the days of red ranks where you would play against hillbilly like 15 times in a row
-
mine
-
Going to be using lightweight with the faster fading it's gonna be nasty on maps with long corners aka indoor maps
-
Infectious fright and knock out being unhealthy for the game
-
At first I would've said no but now legendary skins have their own voices icons etc so they are basically another character without teachables
-
I haven't played since the year 6 event ended
-
Gonna be honest I absolutely suck ass at mindgames so brute forcing pallets is my strategy
-
She's fun it's also funny how many people DC when I have like 2 hours on artist
-
Yes because I'm not interested in having a blight or nurse on me in 10 seconds
-
DCs shouldn't deny perks like that but I have no idea how that works coding wise
-
>playing immersed

Every time I run a meme build killers take it like I'm insulting their mother and camp and tunnel me harder than usual lol.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/ICLGRVGI80QC/download-283-29.jpg
this was me memeing around before hawkins went away.
Generally speaking killers see no mither as a easy tunnel
this is why you loop them to hell and make them embarrassed
-
Favourite : legion I have always liked playing against legion and I know I'm in a very small minority as a survivor main
least favorite Hard tie between trapper or nurse for me
-
80s nightclub with one room with licensed 80s music
yes it's a pipe dream
-
Cringe gonna tbag and message ez with dead hard now till the update
-
I've only completed 2 because I genuinely can't be bothered with certain hide escape challenges
-
I don't care for the charms do care for the cosmetics though
-
Still gonna use full meta because solo survivor will be most likely be unplayable next patch
-
If this is the future of perk balancing then this game is gonna be trash pretty quickly
-
Doubling back maybe works against once or the nurse you went against was bad at the game
