Experienced? Doubtful. Most to any adults could take them all down with ease.

Well yeah, Infectious is indeed shameless if you play her well. That's true.
I might consider giving Nurse's another chance if you say it works well. The perks just felt useless in most of my games but that was one year ago when I started playing her.
I usually get at least two hooks a match just from nurses. It may feel useless, but some people DON'T expect it for the same reason most people do: everyone uses it. Thats how I think of it, anyway.

It’s a question that’s been on everyone’s mind since the PGTW nerf.
Will we see the same effect balance out on the survivors side in the next patch?
No. Ds needs a rework, not a bandaid fix like that

I came to the conclusion that Nurse's calling isn't that good on Nurse, simply because everyone expects you to have it. Therefore people will make sure to not heal in her range.
I prefer Infectious and I'm all ears. Especially the last one is insanely good on her.
I would also say you don't need Whispers. At least I never had a problem finding people with Nurse because they have to do a gen, sooner or later.
And yeah, I agree on the add on thing. Her recharge add ons are making her even more powerful.
Youd be surprised how many downs I get with nurses. Ik that everyone expects it. Doesn't change the fact that it works a lot. I'm all ears is useful, but I dont think its as good as any of the perk I mentioned. Infectious I vowed never to use again, because I felt bad for playing THAT shameless. I use whispers to find people FASTER, because I'm at that level with her, that if I see you, youre dead, meaning that the faster i find people, the faster i down them, the faster i get more pressure, and therefore the faster gens slow WAY down.

Its easy to get bored if the survivors don't try to genrush you 😆 I get bored if they don't rush all the gens as fast as possible, so that winning is even more impressive

@Withered8 Actually, a little bit correction: my total in-game playing time is 1,254 hours, around 65% of them spent on the survivor side and the rest of them on the killer side. But nevertheless, no matter how much I played killer, I barely managed to get to rank 5...Last month I started to climb to rank 4 then for the entire month I've been rank 4 then the past couple of evenings the miracle happened.
@hillbillyclaudmain69 I am using the Hallowed Catalyst costume since I got it last year.
EDIT: @coppersly idk if it's a stupid comparison or not, but the way I somehow perceive shadowborn is like playing shooter games(for example CS GO) on lower resolution because the character appears wider and therefore you may have an easier time shooting your opponents. Here Shadowborn for me makes it easier to see people when I blink, to track them when they run away from me and maybe even hit them when they're close to me.
Ive considered using that skin. Does the blink hand look nice, like in her medical casualty outfit?

I've tried using shadowborn on her before and it only throws me off and makes it much more awkward to take in all my surroundings before the fatigue sets in. On that note I'd argue her best perk without a doubt is BBQ since she is the only killer in the game that can get to someone before their aura disappears no matter what is between them without addons. But tbh there are a few perks that could be considered her best depending on your playstyle with her.
Nurse can only blink 32 meters with perfectly charged blinks. So she still wouldn't reach a survivor with base kit blinks even if they were only 40 meters away. For me, shadowborn makes it ten times easier to play her, because I can see where they go on fatigue much easier, but thats not even the reason I use it. See, the reason that shadowborn is the best perk on her, is because it fixes most to all fps issues with her. I'm on ps4, so I cant even play nurse without shadowborn. I'll lag so much in my blinks that I'll be lucky to even get a hit.

I'm thinking if we do get anything anime and manga, the best fits are someone from
-Higurashi When They Cry (IDK who, take your best pick)
-Pick any of Junji Ito's crazy monsters to be added
I hope that they add kakuja Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul somehow.

I was playing my third ever games as Demogorgan and I was griefed so hard I went toxic.
The entire game they blinded me nonstop. 4 purple flashlights with extra batteries. I could barely do anything and I was getting so upset that I finally gave up on having fun and just downed them. Over and over and over. No hooks. No nothing, I must have done it for a good 3-4 minutes until they all disconnected then I hooked the last person.
I feel terrible for it. I really shouldn't have done it and I feel gross for being part of the toxic problem. I had sworn I wouldn't be like that but it just made me so incredibly annoyed. I get how people get so toxic in this game now, toxicity really really spreads so easily.
You do realize that you can look up and down to avoid the beam right? And if they blind on a pallet, use your ears. They aren't deafening you, after all.

If you guys haven't read the bug fix already, one thing that is happening is that Rin's sound bug is getting fixed and I've seen maybe 1 or 2 post about it!
Back to the topic on hand I have a burning question about these 2 killer's!
Why is it justified and ok that Nurse is OP and can literally avoid survivor's mechanics and stop them from literally doing anything in a chase (once she catches on to survivor's pathing and juking patterns), but Spirit is the devil even though to a certain degree she can avoid survivor's mechanics?
Nurse leaves survivor's unable to rely on looping unless she's bad! If she's a decent to god tier Nurse than survivor's really can't do nothing but hope that she makes a mistake!
Granted Spirit leaves survivor's guessing but at the same time their also HOPING that she makes a mistake, and if she doesn't than survivor's are screwed!
Why is Nurse justified but Spirit isn't even though they both technically sit in the same pool of "breaking the game"
P.S. I'm currently a Spirit main and a retired Nurse main! I do play survivor, I just don't find survivor gameplay fun!
Killer Rank: 1
Survivor Rank: 4
Nurse is balanced. Most people don't know how to play against her. You break LOS and be unpredictable. It's just a massive mindgame.
Spirit was balanced with the sound bug, because you could mindgame with the power and it was equally interactive on both sides.
I say this as a Nurse main who plays both sides.
Killer Rank:1
Survivor Rank: 2 with four pips because I had a mori last match.

@TheOptimiser said:
For me, personally, I thought the day I would be a Rank 1 killer will never come. Even if it's for one match and the next time I play I will depip and I will never ever be rank 1 again, just the simple fact that for once I've been Rank 1 as a killer is one of the best feelings I've had in a long time. It feels so rewarding that finally, after all the sweat and frustration I've had playing as a killer up until now(versing survivors that literally gen-rush you to the core and just toy you around), I've reached the top spot and I can proudly say: This is the best you can be! It's such a great feeling! Of course, there's always room for improvement and perfectioning yourself over time, but whatever happens, you can never be higher than Rank 1.
It took me freaking ages to get here. 1,254 hours of gameplay to be more specific. And the way I got there was absolutely ridiculous. It all started last night laying at Rank 4 with 2 pips and then I said: let's play a match of Nurse. And from there it was history. It took me 11 consecutive matches as Nurse to get from Rank 4 with 2 pips to Rank 1(pip, pip, pip, double pip, pip, pip, pip, double pip, double pip, black pip, pip). The fact that I got it with Nurse as well is pretty mindblowing for me, considering the fact that a couple of months ago I could barely hit someone with a blink attack...And I can make a personal opinion that, if you know how to play her decently, if it's even better than decent then you're in a great spot, the Nurse is the best killer in the game. The fact that you can cut down multiple chases faster than any other killer is giving you the best advantage in this game. In a game where literally every second matters, she is the best pick out there. Very good map pressure and with the right combination of perks and add-ons and, as I said earlier, at least decent blinks, she is lethal. And it's such a nice rewarding feeling when you chain a couple of blinks to perfection and it ends up with a hit on a survivor being in a spot where he thinks he could never be hit, it motivates you even more, it gives you a morale boost that makes you play even better! It is extremely painful at the beginning until you learn her, you'll have a lot of matches where most survivors escape, but once you get the grasp of her, you will never want to switch her again. She is in a perfect spot the way she is right now. The only problem she has is around some objects which are a bit frustrating to blink through because you'll often end up not blinking at all through them(cars, rocks, hills), but it can be do-able if you slightly charge your blink a bit more than you think is the right amount. Maybe a fix here wouldn't be a problem.
The perks I've used on her to get to Rank 1: Corrupt Intervention(Mandatory), Shadowborn(also mandatory, it helps you A LOT in the blinking phase to see survivors that are hiding behind stuffs), Nurse's Calling(mandatory, it's just OP on Nurse) and Pop Goes the Weasel(but I'd take into consideration Whispers for future plays with her).
Add-ons: Heavy Panting & Kavanagh's Last Breath(Increasing maximum Blink Range and increasing Blink Charge time) + all the add-ons that reduce the time of fatigue after blinks are the best! No doubt in my mind! If you're also on a learning cusp with her, Plaid Flannel is a pretty good add-on(the one that shows you where you blink).
I hope you guys are having an equally great evening as I've had and hopefully I can challenge the most of you into the fog.😁
First of all, everyone knows that Nurse is the best killer in the game.
Second, no perk is mandatory on Nurse except shadowborn.
Third, the arguably best Nurse build in this game is BBQ, Whispers, Shadowborn, and A Nurses Calling.
Fourth, her best addons are blink recharge.(Fragile Wheeze and Dark Cincture.)
Fifth, newer Nurses shouldn't use plaid flannel, or they'll get used to it and won't ever know blink distances without it.
Sixth, I'm very glad to see more Nurses, since she's one of my favorite killers to play against! Have fun playing her!
Seventh, what outfit do you use? I don't know what to wear lol. I usually wear Grim Veil+Reaper Wedding Dress+Bloodied Bone Cutter, but I'm bored of that and don't know what to wear.

You're right but those are bugs etc. Without the bugs, the nurse player is dependent on their skill alone and can decimate a team.
The crazy thing is, at high play... A perfect killer vs 4 perfect survivors 99.9% of the time results in a LOSS for the killer. That's been proven several times over.
And honestly I highly doubt that they are bugs. The devs just want us to think that.

I'm a survivor main, but I have been maining killer for about a month or two now. Mainly because If survivor queue is long, I can always play killer instead :).
At the moment, I main huntress Rank 5. I'm not the best huntress, but I'm decent, on average I down someone after 15 - 30 seconds of a chase.
==========================
Start of the game:
Get about one hook and maybe one injured before a gen is popped.
Mid game: (Part 1)
Get about 3 / 4 downs, 2 / 3 hooks
Mid game: (part 2)
Down someone, gen gets popped... Taking them to hook, gen gets popped... Thinking 'okay last gen let's try and guard these ones'... Soon as I hook then, gates are powered...
End game:
Feel bad that I'm proxy camping at such a low rank, but it has to be done for a kill...
Good survivors (all red ranks normally) have BT and bodyblock the injured survivor.
Stats:
No kills, 23K or less BP, feel disappointed in my skills as killer (especially if they're my best killer)
No matter how well I play, how many hooks and downs I get, how much pressure I put on the map, how lowkey bad the survivors can sometimes be....The last 3 gens get popped simultaneously, maybe 5 or 10 seconds apart.
I main survivor so I know, gens are the objective. But I don't know how these red ranks I play against manage to pop gens so quick :/.
If you have any tips, perk recommendations, playstyle tips, please let me know.
I ain't ranting or complaining!!! <=
I'm just looking for advice :)
On huntress the best build is corrupt, bbq, whispers, and pop. Thats all i can really tell you for her, since I play mostly nurse. On the other hand, if you want to win every match, id suggest learning

No surprise people want her nerfed. She's one of 2 killers that don't necessarily have to rely on survivors to do well.
The other is nurse.
Theres also freddy, ph, and slinger. And depending on the map, you 1000% depend on survivors making mistakes as nurse, since there are some places you can't blink, like a quarter of midwich

It also made her more interactive and fun to play against. They couldnt hear you the whole time, so you could mindgame. Something doesn't need to be OP to be fun, and the people who played spirit during that "nerf" understood that. Clearly you don't.

Or you scream for ten seconds after someone unhooks you. Or when you unhook someone, you throw yourself on the hook in exchange.
80% of flashlight add-ons are useless.
Glass and ring for keys don't help in the match at all.
Map add-ons are all worthless for a rainbow map.

What really triggers me is when a survivor is spamming loud noise notifications. As killer you are very reliant on sound, so you are more or less expected to have the game very loud. Nurse nerf slows her down. Punish new players way more. And not to mention the bugs.
Dude, I main nurse. I did learn her after the nerf though, so I don't have experience on how she was like before. And the spirit "nerf" wasnt really a nerf. It opens up mindgame opportunities, since the survivors can only hear you every three seconds or so.And bugs arent intentional nerfs, so there's no use mentioning them. And this game should be balanced around high tier play. Nurse is still the best killer in the game, she takes more skill now, and the devs could nerf her again and that wouldn't change.

Is there a reason that legion can't see scratch marks when in frenzy? It seems like a pointless mechanic to weaken an already weak power.
Also, is there a reason that hitting someone who already has deep wounds takes you out of frenzy?
Both feel like needless handicaps. I agree that hitting someone with deep wounds shouldn't down them in frenzy, but taking you out of frenzy is so stupid. The game shouldn't punish you for hitting a survivor.
I feel like its because you already have a lot on your screen.

OK.
1.) He wants to chase you, meaning that you have fun in the chase, and get a chance to outplay him all the time.
2.) You get to actually concentrate for skill checks, which I personally find fun.
3.) He gives you points in survival, which is the hardest category to get points in.
4.) If he spams his shocks, you can turn normally unsafe loops into literal INFINITES.
Doctor is a noob stomper, and if you don't find him fun you're probably not good.

I'm glad that this very smart and well designed combo is in the game. How would killers function without it??? I assume they would have to actually play the game like survivors.
Maybe we should invent a perk that's let's survivors sabo hooks from anywhere on the map until that specific tool box is out. I mean fair is fair right. But they should also make it so that the aura of the killer is seen by everyone when they close to a survivor. Because what if the killer actually tries to get rid of the toolbox? Well we cant have that. So when that toolbox is out another survivor automatically gets it.
This game is survivor-sided even with undying-ruin. Survivors have it easier that killers ever have, and you're mad when killers FINALLY get a good combo. Do bones instead of genrushing every match.

People have speculated that there are only two members of the balance team. If so it might be beneficial to increase this number. Many people complain that the killers are too weak, or too strong. SWF are overpowered, solos are under-powered not to mention balance between killers themselves, perks and addons.
If you could choose to add a person to the balance team, either one who is neutral or one that has a slight bias (to counter any perceived current imbalance), a content creator, a forum member or even yourself, who would you add and why?

I've been playing dbd since it came out for xbox. Ever since then I was a wraith main. However, about a year ago I completely stopped playing wraith. I stopped playing him for a few reasons which I will be discussing here. I hope you're ready for an essay because he has many issues.
1. His add-on dependency.
Wraith depends on his add-ons as much as blight relies on his serum. Playing wraith without add-ons is absolutely awful. It's literally loop city the entire match. I believe that the wraith cube increased his need for add-ons. Unless you're an absolute God at wraith, you'll typically get smashed by even the most pea-headed survivors. About only half of his add-ons are even decent, the rest are pretty bad.
2. His map dependency.
Most maps for wraith are very bad as they are very open and make the wraith very easy to see, completely removing his stealth. He can be good on indoor maps, but there's like hardly any of them. Even on maps where he can be good, he relies on rng to make cover for him to sneak with.
3. Spine chill and premonition.
These 2 perks can completely counter the wraith, pretty much making his ability useless. Now, I know they don't tell you if he's actually going for you or not, but all you have to do is hide for a few seconds and if he never shows up then you go back to the gen. I don't think they should work when undetectable, but that's a story for a different time. (I don't know if premonition works on undetectable or not but I think it does).
4. His outdated ability.
His ability consists of slightly faster than usual mobility and stealth. He has nothing for gen slowdown, or during a chase, or anything else most good to average killers have. This makes wraith games last 2 seconds. Not to mention how boring his gameplay is. The typical wraith game goes like this: Find survivor, uncloak, chase survivor, get looped forever, down survivor, hook survivor, 3 gens pop, find corner, cry. There's nothing engaging about his ability, it's only useful when not in a chase. The only time you use his ability is during the most boring part of the game, finding survivors.
5. His perks.
His perks are pretty garbage. Shadowborn is pretty useful, I use it on most killers because console has fov lock. Predator and blood hound however, are absolute trash. I guess they're ok for newer players but after that they're useless. They only have use if you've been stabbed right in your occipital lobe.
6. Wraith is bad? Always has been.
Wraith has always been pretty bad. Even at launch, chillbilly and trapster were better than he was. As the years went on and on I kept hoping wraith would receive a change. And he did. But it was absolutely awful. The wraith cube was a total joke. It did nothing and left him in the same position. It was like putting new windows in a car that got blown up. Does it fix some issues? Yes. Did it fix the biggest and main issues? No. After that, the devs left him in the dust. His gameplay brings no joy. Joining a trial as wraith is like walking into into work everyday expecting to be RKO'd by Randy Orton. There's just no reason to play him.
7. What if you're a smelly killer who smells?
Maybe I do smell at killer but that doesn't make these issues any less so. I know there are better wraith players than me. But honestly, they can't be that much better considering his skill cap is about as high as a midgets doorway. He's such a simple and easy killer to use. But he's not like Freddy McLongarms who has a good ability and is easy to use. You can only do so well with a killer who has a very low skill cap. Once you hit it, that's it, you peaked. You're not doing much better.
8. The devs.
The devs need to focus on buffing weaker killers instead of worrying about our wallets. Killers such as wraith, nurse, spirit and Freddy all need buffs to make them viable. Not many people play these weaker killers and I don't see the numbers getting any higher anytime soon.
9. The conclusion.
Wraith bad.
Thank you for coming to my Thread Talk.
(Don't act like monkeys or I'll get the zookeeper)
Wraith is the only one on your list of killers that need buffs.
Freddy is probably getting nerfed, lets be honest.
Spirit already HAS been nerfed in the last patch and I personally think shes fine now.
I main Nurse, and I think it would be overkill to buff her, and I'm on ps4 too, so I don't even have the advantage of a mouse, or even fps not being bad ALL THE TIME. Nurse is the best killer in the game.

@AskingForHelp said:
Please check the win/loss ratio of both sides and balance it accordingly . I find it hard to believe killers are underpowered when every single game I go into as a red/purple rank survivor accompanied by other red and purple rank survivors, the killers just stomp survivors every single game. Constantly I find that people die or get left on the hook still. Not to mention all of the bugs survivors have to deal with that mess up the loop.
Killer is underpowered, but there is broken ######### both sides can use. Combine that with bad teammates, and it can get killer sided.
-
@AskingForHelp said:
I don’t know what kind of stats you devs use to determine which side needs to be reworked. But as far as I can see based on my experience playing both sides I find that I have a way easier time playing killer than I do survivor. It seems my teammates get ran on consistently and I barely make it out once every 4/5 games. I think some of these maps are too small for many of the killers’ speed/abilities, lack of decent hiding, poor pallet placements, and vaults can be too easily walked around due to the fact that walls are never long enough to make a difference. When I play killer I do not really have a hard time getting at least 2 kills every game. But the majority of the time it is 3-4 per match. Survivors have to work hard for very little reward and killers easily reap in way too many points. It is a little stressful at times dealing with the good survivors. But the hiding spots are just becoming too obvious that I don’t really get fooled. I think the hardest part is dealing with the 360s. But why do survivors have to do that to get a chase to last longer? The game should naturally have stuff in it that prolongs a chase. It’s too easy to down, hook and kill. Especially when you consider the add ons and Mori’s. It’s pretty bad. I understand as a survivor you are 1 of 4 you’re not meant to 1v1 the killer. But you should definitely think about fixing some things so they can have a better chance at not going down. Killers have too much regression on survivor objectives to keep up with the rate that killers do their objectives. I do it all the time. Pop is OP 😂

Don't even get me started...
...
Dangit, Ok gonna just say this: I HATE DEATHSLINGER!
Not for the reasons people on the forums keep whining about either, but because, of all killers, he's literally the most LENIENT. I'm gonna let that sink in for anyone reading this for a moment, because if the Player complaints on these forums are to be believed, he's one of the worst things to happen to DbD because "He has no Counter-play"... (frustrated Groan)
If he actually had no counter-play, I would be right there with them posting comments and ideas for how to balance him, but truth be told, I despise his heavily survivor favored base kit:
He is the only killer in the game that features a whopping 5 separate slowdowns just for using his power to secure a hit on a survivor! At most, other killers only feature 3 slowdowns: The basic attack recovery, power usage, and power cooldown/stun time, but Deathslinger adds to that list Reloading time, AND reeling the damn survivor in, which can take up to 5 seconds. In this game, the killer role is always a battle of efficient Time Management, and the longer you take to down a survivor you're chasing, the more time the other survivors have to complete their objectives, so while other killers can regularly take down a survivor in 15-20 seconds, Deathslinger can take a minimum of 26 and a maximum of 40 to do so. Add in the fact that his Slower than average movement speed already gives him little to no map pressure, and in my opinion, you get the WORST killer in the game.
Yet Here we are, just like with the complaints I've listed against the Pig, players will furiously ######### and moan about how "DeAThSliNGR iz OP, pLz nERf!" in post after post, and I'm tired of it. His only advantages are his TR and performance in a 1v1 scenario, but even then, despite taking so much longer to down a survivor than any other killer on the roster, because of how his power makes survivors feel helpless in the 1v1... He's obviously "OP" and needs to be "Reworked"! (grimace)
I apologize for the off topic rant, I just get so frustrated sometimes when it comes to some players mental gymnastics when they make posts to complain about perceived imbalances. Even here, in this post it'll be no different. I listed those complaints against Pig because, In my past experiences on this forum, it always devolves to them no matter what anyone says, or what counter points anyone argues, so I figured I might as well just get them out of the way before this becomes a cluster ######### of comments and replies all leading to the same inevitable complaints. All because these players simply refuse to accept that they might just have to adapt/change their playstyle a little in order to win against her.
Slinger isnt op, hes just not fun. People want him to be more fun in a chase, since currently he has no counterplay. And he doesn't really need a nerf, just a rework. Like maybe remove quickscope but make him 115.

Mechanically easier killers have higher win rates. Which is also why you see Freddy / Doc / Bubba at the top. It means people that don't main these killers can easily play a few games and win without learning a ton of mechanics.
Another way to look at it is, if you have someone who doesn't main huntress and plays her for one game, that player will probably get a 0K, which significantly drives down the huntress average. Whereas, someone who only plays Freddy once probably still gets a 3/4K.
Also pig is very good at slowing down gens, which can be devastating in solo queue. Probably also why Freddy and Doc are at the top.
Docs more of a noob stomper than anything. You can make literal infinites if he's bad, and if hes good you can just genrush to get out.

Any theories?
This is just uncanny to me, the fact that she has a higher kill rate than FRICKING SPIRIT is weird.
Because she has everything. Anti-loop? Check. Slowdown? Check. Adorable? Check.

The instant ADS however requires some FPS experience to be pulled off successfully with the frequency some people claim it's being pulled off.
And that's what I meant about learning what he can shoot through/over. So many people try to run him like they'd run Huntress, as if they believe doing so will suddenly change his ability.
Your average Deathslinger player will probably need about as long as a regular Huntress to ADS and shoot, the whole 'just have the surv in the middle of your screen' argument is pretty nonsensical (again, only pans out if someone has massive FPS experience).
And even giving him a definite wind-up time wouldn't do anything about the second point: people blatantly ignoring what his power can do. Like, the know he has a set range, the see the reload animation go through, and still they stand there as if they expect him to walk up and try to m1 them instead of using his power.

How long will people continue to call for his removal because he's 'unfun'?
He is unfun. Maybe if you could dodge his shots he'd be fine. And also I don't play fps games and I never lose with him. Hes like freddy and spirit. Too powerful without any skill involved.

I'm not trying to badmouth or ridicule you, I'm just baffled. Because while some do have legit points about what needs to be tweaked about him (LBR, M&A is an overall broken perk, not just on him), I commonly see behaviour in matches against him (whether playing myself on either side or watching others) that are just baffling:
- The seeming refusal to learn about him on survivor side.
- The ignorance towards his powers.
1 : One of the first things a lot of Deathslinger players do in experience is get into a custom match and see what he can shoot through/over. Meanwhile a lot of people that complain that you can't loop him (at all) etc seem to try and run him at spots where it would seem obvious that he can shoot through/over.
2: The weirdest thing is still what some people do at the open gate. Like, sure, healing there gives extra points, but... if he's standing right there and you saw the reload animation going through, why would you still stand there, healing and teabagging? He has a gun that can pull you back to him. Forget those few points and run. Especially people who complain about his 'quickscoping' (which isn't actually something you can't pull off by default) should know better.
So, why? Sure, he needs some tweaks, but he's still not as impossible to counter as some seem certain.
You cant dodge his shots. No counterplay isn't fun.

I realize the affects of the bug and they are more adverse for the people trying to play her. They benifit survivors to the detriment of the killer. In other words, the cost benifit to survivors is greater then then any perceived benifit for spirit.
1. You can no longer fake phasing
2. Phasing no longer presents an positional advantage since players know where you are.
3. It has been reduced to a speed boost with a charge up time.
So? She's still good.

I made an account just to put this out here. Since most spirit mains have already given up on you guys.
Spirit has a "Bug" that has been popularized as what will "kill spirit at higher levels of play". - Tru3ta1ent
This bug is activated when spirits phasing ability is activated. Her unique breathing sounds can be heard from whatever direction she's standing to the survivor, which defeats the purpose of her ability to move in a ghostly fashion. The vacuum sound can also be heard in some instances while still within her terror radius. As opposed to pre-update where she gave no sounds or clues as to whether she is faking a phase or actually phasing. Thus creating the mind games she's so well known for. Let's not forget that Addons were nerfed, collision was removed, vaulting animations were added, prayer beads were changed, and lunges were shortened. All of which were seen as hard but fair in the eyes of both the Killers and survivors.
This "Bug" is Too much for me. And I cannot recommend to anyone playing this game with one of its most iconic characters in this sad state.
Personal Note:
If this isn't a Shadow Nerf like the rumors say then it needs to be addressed. Spirit has already gone through a large number of changes post nerf. According to your own (BHVR) words, is that her whole "Thing" is mind games, Stealth, Spookyness. With the current bug. There's no reason to be invisible during phase because you can hear her coming from any direction. It's disgusting. I could go on a tangent regarding issues with killer queues as a whole but I digress. If it's a Shadow Nerf. It's nothing short of a scummy move that some devs do that they know will upset the community. If it's a bug it's nearly game breaking for this character. As I stated you may as well not even be invisible. No more pretending to phase as YOUR suggestion in the loading screen says. It needs to be fixed. Spirit mains are ready endangered and I don't intend to watch her die quietly.
I hope you realize that that bug puts her in a good spot. You can't constantly hear her so now you can pull off even more mindgames with her. I think it's fair and I hope they keep it.
