im okay with noed :) cleanse totems. run small game. I don’t need to run small game to cleanse all 5 totems and do the gens to counter noed, but you clearly do.
-
Grabs on hooks barely work, so it’s fine.
-
just say GG and move on. don’t need to have a whole conversation in the chat about the game.

That is not at all my experience with this game, 70% of the time it's just ggs in the chat, the rest of the time it was just an exciting game and people get amped up. Very very rarely do I see abuse hurled at anyone. This is stupid and condescending. Fine, put it in, but don't force it on us. You can't deny that it's super hypocritical to wag the finger at their player base when the game has swearing right through it, and I haven't even bothered getting into some of the cutscenes and expanded lore.
“it doesn’t happen to me, so it doesn’t happen that often” Do you know you’re not the center of the universe and your experience doesn’t encapsulate everyone’s experience as a whole? im okay with chat filter. There’s no reason to be talking sh*t to other people. big difference between cussing and calling someone names over a video game. which btw, happens a lot.
-
why not just press A to skip the video? too hard?
-
they’re just toxic people. literally the epitome of what’s wrong with this game.
-
me & my friend had a game with a hacker teammate. the guy was getting flashlight saves across the map. instahealing himself and teammates off the ground. phased under the ground to body block the hook, i could see his aura literally body blocking from beneath the floor, the killer would swing & hit nothing. speedhacking. macro flashlight. infinite stuns with head on where the killer can’t move for SEVERAL seconds & is stuck in stun animation.
that’s my experience. I reported but I don’t think it does anything. I felt bad for the killer. I could just shake my head. I thought there was anti-cheat, bhvr???
-
the servers are screwed. I don’t know why these guys are acting like they’ve never had server problems. I agree, I don’t have any other connection issues with ANY other game, but this game is constantly making my internet connection crash (the whole modem) & also weird stuff happens, like survivors teleporting around. it always benefits that side by the way. it’s a joke, especially if you play killer a lot.
-
they were in a classic “should’ve just left” situation lol they should have left.
-
a lot of killers have been running agitation recently, maybe that’s what you’re talking about? it’s definitely not base kit, they’re wasting a perk slot for it, so not an issue.
-
i would try to avoid doing that, I believe it’s bannable. also kind of cheap.
-
counters are wake up, heal, and let your teammates bleed out while you sit on gens to get them done. as long as they aren’t on the hook, they have 4 minutes on the timer. if you sit on gens the whole time he has the slug, you can finish the 2 gens even with the slowdown perks. basically - adapt. relax on the altruism.
not like it matters, once the change comes out there won’t be any more forever Freddy.
-
yeah, it’s kind of bs that you can run plunderers and basically get a guaranteed key every match. or in most cases, you don’t even have to run plunderers. i agree, keys are rough. patiently waiting for the nerf they said was coming but not sure how they’ll end up doing that. i still think keys & moris should have been nerfed at the same time, doesn’t matter how much more “complex” it is to change keys. moris were generally the counter to keys.
-
yes, which is why I don’t understand why survivors are constantly trying to get m1 killers nerfed, they aren’t strong & if you’re losing to them consistently, those people are most likely working hard for their kills.
-
she’s easy to play. sorry nurse mains, you’re not good for blinking through walls, past pallets/vaults, negating distance. things that other killers need to work around or break. they are also not good for predicting people, it’s easy to predict survivors if you play both sides.
-
haven’t seen them much, I wish I saw more demo dogs!!
-
he’s not good. if you get beat by a wraith, understand that the player is just good at the game since he’s winning while playing a D tier killer (wraith) and probably deserves your kills.
-
love non licensed chapters, but I’ve been waiting for another licensed chapter for a while now. not a video game license, another horror movie license. but yeah, I also enjoy non licensed chapters.
-
as killer, it makes my frames drop for sure. never experienced it as survivor though.
-
don’t remember it too much honestly.
-
how is this a console issue and not Feng just being a dick? if she was on pc, would you be less upset?
-
waiting on key nerf as well.
changed moris, made them more fair. they can do the same for keys.
-
i play 50/50. don’t like spirit. easy mode for killer. as survivor, i can run her just fine but my teammates always get demolished.
-
Inner Strength - add tokens, let heals stack
-
what was strong about it was replacing pallets that were dropped, so when a survivor that is solo/not apart of swf heads to that side of the map & is not aware the pallets have been dropped, it’s problematic. you can say “just pay attention to what pallets are up before you’re asleep” but - A) what if you start asleep? B) what if you’re new & don’t even know where pallets are supposed to spawn to begin with? C) what if the survivor runs to that side of the map for the first time that match, how do they possibly know the pallets were dropped? Yes, you can wake up, but you can’t while you’re in chase which usually happens after he hits you & puts you to sleep.
I say all this, but keep in mind, I’m a Freddy/Doctor main. I don’t think Freddy needed a nerf at all. he isn’t strong. he’s a normal m1 killer with a little extra features. I just think survivors never complain about what is actually annoying about him - aka PALLET FREDDY. Slowdown Freddy? Do gens. Snare Freddy? not a problem. go around the snare. I actually feel like the only thing that needed changes was the pallets. Didn’t need to touch snares at all. Snare Freddy is always an easy win for me as survivor. Pallet Freddy is an easy loss.

Camping, tunneling, and slugging are seen as valid tactics and if a killer wants to do this, they'll do it no matter what and playing with a poorly made killer isn't going to help matters either, I don't get the point of bringing back yet another tired argument. There's validity in your frustration but no one is obligated to play how you want them regardless of what the assumptions you make about their character.
100% true, but this is still an interesting discussion on how ALL of them are currently playing this way.
-
yea, it’s really strange. I haven’t gone against 1 trickerster that hasn’t tried to slug the whole team, just because. i understand the killer isn’t that great, but the fixes made him a lot better. so it’s surprising that it’s EVERY SINGLE ONE playing this way.
-
if DS is an annoyance for you, simply make the active decision to tunnel early game. stop trying to play fair then getting upset that survivors still have their OP perks at endgame, which is what they want because it’s an easy escape. when I play killer, I don’t play by the survivor rulebook.
-
Between Chris & Leon, Chris is definitely more boring. Leon would be nice :)
-
probably because it’s only 4 minutes til bleed out. yeah, I know you said not to say “you’ll eventually bleed out” but it’s just true, and that’s why it’s not bannable.
-
why can’t you find them if they’re on gens in the corner of the map? check the gens on the corners of the map.
-
BT & Inner Strength are solid. Add Dead Hard or another exhaustion perk of your choice. DS if you care about getting tunneled off the hook. if not, I also like empathy which helps with knowing where the killer is or where your injured teammate is to heal them or possibly take aggro.
-
best case, camp. don’t look for survivors, they’re already there anyway. don’t hook next to doors. try to be out in the open where it’s easier to go around survivors who are trying to body block. I say that because survivors can only really body block you in place in narrow passages, between a pallet, etc. go for the unhooker & try to go around the guy body blocking with bt. easier said than done, but other than that there really isn’t another counter.
-
if baiting “only works on bad players” and 99% of survivors are terrible and bad at the game, i don’t understand how it’s a problem. what are good red ranks?

What we have now was fought for with many casualties.
Respect the vets.
respect the vets lmao
-
they don’t know how to hide in lockers or they don’t know to survive in chase for longer than 2 seconds so they’re scared wittle babies.
i don’t bother hiding in lockers cause i don’t mind if the killer sees my aura, I’m ready for a chase if he chooses to start it lol
-
i feel like sprint burst & lithe give survivors way more distance than dead hard, plus they can be used while healthy.
dead hard’s prerequisite is you have to be injured to use it. it doesn’t give you much distance. survivors can use it to make a window/pallet, then what? stay on them & next time you get close, they’re down. also, the perk barely works. exhausted on the ground is a thing.
-
i see why you think it will help, but obsession doesn’t really matter much when killers will just tunnel through ds if they really want to. good killers always eat ds so it’s gone for the rest of the game instead of slugging.
-
Because they’re bad. so so so bad. they think hiding all game gives them a better chance to escape, meanwhile theyre just giving the killer an easy win. honestly the worst teammates to have. how hard is it to sit on a gen while someone else is being chased? it’s one button??? I do probably 4 gens a game now, from start to finish, while also being chased all game. Solo q isn’t always terrible but lately survivors have been high rank with a very low skill level.
-
Discordance, pop, brutal strength & NOED just incase ;) but u dont need it with doc tbh. my favorite killer.

The bias is real in this thread...
I will happily play more Demogorgon! I already thought his power, Shred, played well to my chasing schemes, now I get a more usable portal too? Awesome! Not to mention the add-on changes will certainly be interesting to experiment with.
good luck 🍀

The OoO nerf wasn't really what they said it was going to be. So now everytime I reveal their aura with for example bbq they get a 6% increase in reparing/Healing etc. ON TOP of 3 secs every 30 secs. I don't think that action buff is needed.
100% agree, action speed buff was not necessary.
-
Because there’s no counter to them anymore (besides Franklin’s but that’s debatable) - so survivors have no reason not to bring them. Why not bring the most op items in the game and run object of obsession to relay information to your 4 man squad, after the devs gutted undying, ruin, AND moris?
Ebony moris were a good counter to keys and object players but after that, there’s nothing.
pretty annoying, I tend to just dodge lobbies with keys :)
-
This happens to me a lot on Xbox. Always during a particularly good game as well, never during a game where gens are done in 2 minutes or when the whole team is slugged at 5 gens. It sucks. Definitely their server.
-
I’m okay with exhaustion on everyone except Huntress lol

I wouldnt normally be this mad I would just rage quit and go to bed but I'm trying to get to rank 1 for the achievement and unfortunately dont get to play often and its usually teamates just like this...
I'm more mad at my team than the killer but still face camping and tunneling like that just pisses me off, he was bad too cause I managed to loop him for quite a while and I barely every played hawkins lab map
We should at least secure a safety pip if we max out boldness...
i feel you, I think the solution would be to remove bloodpoint caps so that game doesn’t feel wasted. That way if you get 8000 boldness points and still being chased and never have an opportunity to work on gens/etc, you’ll continue getting points. it’ll make our time more worth it in those situations. Bloodpoint caps are dumb IMO

I stand at the exit area to give the killer extra bp by hitting me. What about those people?
Screw those people specifically. they use the excuse of “just trying to give the killer more blood points” to justify the teabagging and waiting at exit gates. just leave. Killers don’t want to watch you leave.
-
I dodge all lobbies where a key is involved. Keys are simply unfair when survivors can do 3 gens while a killer is in a minute chase.
-
sorry, I don’t see a problem with the face camping. You should be upset with your team for not doing gens and letting you get face camped for no reason. they have more than enough time to do gens while you’re being face camped. I wouldn’t be upset at the killer in your position.
-
It’s a bad perk because mediocre survivors basically throw the game trying to get it to proc only once.
