No 110% Killer should be looping without using their power. The reason 110 Killers have the slow movement speed is because their powers own Survivors in chase if you know what you’re doing.

Exactly. /threadclosed
Not really. It’s pretty easy to rewrite the code so regression perks hit auto-regressing gens. They did it with Surge.
You just can’t hit generators twice with them. Only once per time a Survivor touches the gen

All of that plus map balance. If the realms were all balanced we wouldn't need bloodlust.
I'm sure you've heard that some infinites have been created with the absence of bloodlust. This just goes to show how much bloodlust covered for bad map design.
At least now they know what loops are problematic, or they'll just ignore it. Their updates are very hit or miss.
Honestly, I haven’t noticed any infinites. But that’s partly by choice because the only Killers I’ve been playing this weekend are Pyramid Head, Deathslinger, Hag and Spirit
-
Blight is like having a seizure... in a good way
-
Honestly, they should just remove that line of text and the mechanic it represents from the game.
-
Anyone know what that cosmetic looks like?
-
Late night matchmaking is usually a mess.
-
I mean switch doesn’t give them a lot to work with; it’s weaker than a lot of phones for gaming. Only first party Nintendo games get halfway decent fps and that’s probably because they’re only developed for one console so they have maximum optimization time
-
Ironically, those changes will be healthy for the game. Red Rank Killers already spread pressure and know when to leave chases.
The bad Killers that commit too hard to chases are actually falsely incentivized by bloodlust. They might eventually get the down... but the time it took it get stacks of bloodlust is almost never worth it.

They first need to understand how to read the data they collect. Remember the OoO reasoning?
I think everyone wishes they didn’t remember that OoO reasoning. It was so tone deaf and out of touch its not even funny
-
You have to hold down the button for a couple seconds when you kick a generator to get it to regress. It's not like a pallet where you just have to tap it for a second to complete the action
-
Use all your perk slots to keep yourself alive.
I run Detective’s Hunch and Inner Strength for super reliable healing. But I also run Blood Pact so I can find someone to heal me if the totems all get cleansed. Blood Pact has also helped me a ton because it creates an Obsession so the Killer has to respect Decisive Strike even when no one has it.
My last perk is almost always Dead Hard. But any exhaustion perk will do. Lithe is also pretty good in chases
-
Pyramid Head is gonna be extremely hard to get an average chase time for.
He destroys predictable Survivors and can get downs in less than 20 seconds if he reads them like a book.
But a very self aware Survivors that mindgame could take like 60 seconds.
-
@Pulsar Demo‘s best perk is actually Mindbreaker. It got an extensive buff and severely hurts exhaustion perk users. It’s lowkey overpowered when combo’d with some Killers and Add-Ons
-
Pyramid Head is relatively balanced. Being tormented is entirely the Survivor's choice, getting free hits at vaults and pallets is something multiple other Killers have as well, and using Punishment of the Damned to predict hits through walls and loops is skillful and has counterplay.
-
Surge is extremely good on Killers that down with basic attacks. It synergizes beautifully with Ruin and Undying.
Because it stacks with Ruin, I think the cooldown is fine. It just wish Surge was like Infectious Fright and worked on Killers that down with their power and on locker grabs
-
Honestly, four Dweets with Prove Thyself and Bond. That play split up and ram generators
-
Just be really self-sufficient and well rounded. Don’t always be stealthy, don’t always be aggressive, don’t always be a gen jocky. Mix it up.
Pull your weight in chases, do gens, do totems and unhook people. If you feel you’re not doing enough of one of those things, purposely try to do it just to spread out your points and emblems
-
Honestly, I’ve been in Red Ranks so long that I don’t know anything different. A toxic SWF that gen rushes is pretty much the status quo.
I’ve trained myself to go against the sweatiest tryhards and come out on top. So when I get anything less it turns into a massive blowout at 5 gens.
-
The Haddonfield houses and tall fences block LOS for Survivors on a lot of the generators so stealth Killers can use their lack of Terror Radius to get free hits.
Because of that. It’s a pretty average map for stealth Killers. There are plenty of more open maps where they’d have a much worse time because Survivors can see them coming a mile away
-
Haddonfield is decent for teleporting killers (Hag, Freddy, Nurse). And alright for stealth killers (Ghost Face, Pig, Deathslinger and Wraith).
Everyone else has a really hard time
-
I always try to unhook when there’s a mori. I need those points to avoid the de-pip and we all know the Killer won’t be doing many hooks
-
Blood Pact. It’s the only Survivor Obsession perk that gets guaranteed value every game. I never regret running it.
-
I like that the OP refers to the Killers by their first names and not their DBD alias. That is all.
-
Don't take yourself too seriously. I just went through the process of learning Deathslinger at Rank 1. It was painful the first couple hours, but I just focused on landing my shots not winning games. Eventually, I got good enough that I started earning back my lost rank

I do like facing Slinger but I have to agree with this.
Slinger IS the perfect chaser, and the most fun you get in this game as killer is ending chases fast. There's something special in showing dominance on that cocky pink hair Nea that tbags after dropping a pallet only to try to hide the rest of the game when she knows you're a good Slinger.
Honestly yeah. You can tell once the Survivors realize you're actually good and go from trying to bully you to hiding in corners and letting people go struggle phase because they're too scared to save
-
I just hope they don't make a character who's entire personality centers around the fact they're a gay stereotype.
I'd much rather the writers reveal that an existing character is lgbt in the archives lore at some point.

They’d have to give a lore reason as to why they’re adding it so late. But I agree, with some proper map making skills it could be so fun
The last Survivor introduced connected to Felix and Elodie disappears WITH the Dyer Island.
-
Honestly, they just need to patch it so Victor can down people in lockers but doesn't actually pick them up. It'd remove an unnecessary weakness and create another Decisive Strike counter
-
Yeah this Killer is super unique

I mean... doesn't the killer have to wall past a pallet for Power Struggle to work? It sounds OP at first glance but once you think about it, it seems completely situational to the point that I barely can imagine it ever being useful.
I haven't gotten to play the PTB yet though so perhaps there is more to PS than it looks to me?
The Survivor just need to be at 25% wiggle progress when the Killer walks though a pallet.
... so just go down on a pallet and if the Killer slugs you for too long they'll pick you up with 25%+ automatic wiggle progress because of Flip Flop and be on a pallet.
-
If you're Rank 1, you end up not caring because you can't progress further and its easy as pie to get your Rank back with your main Killer if you somehow lose.
I always have to remind myself not to sweat so hard. I can use fun perks and give hatch if I want. Or no ed and bloodwarden to be a low effort trash bin. It makes no difference at my skill level.

Who was best survivor out of them
No0b. He ran a Billy that was trying to slug for the 4k for like 5 minutes and even picked me up from the floor in the process.
The vod is long gone from twitch but I clipped this cool play from it.
-
I slug for the 4k if I have an idea where the last Survivor might be. If I have no clue, I usually just hook them. I don’t care enough to spend 4+ minutes extending the game for no reason
-
The most famous streamers I’ve played with/against are No0b3, Monto, Puppers and AngryPug.
I’m Rank 1 on both roles so I get a lot of streamers but I was lowkey starstruck when I got them randomly in my games
-
The nighttime build for Survivor is Decisive, Unbreakable, Soul Guard and Dead Hard. With a med-kit. If you really want to know about it.
But if you want something strong but less boring. I’d run Inner Strength, Detective’s Hunch, Decisive Strike and Dead Hard. It’s reliable healing without burning a med-kit and counters the infamous Ruin/Undying combo
-
It would actually be a really good exhaustion perk if the pallet resetting animation was quick enough to realistically reset a pallet mid chase. Buffed from taking 4 seconds to taking 1-2 seconds
-
Lowkey yes. Because the Frenzy hit is always free and the second hit is the only one you have to work for. Especially if the Survivors don't heal, if everyone's injured your basically tier three myers except you can mess with the Survivors more by running perks like Thanatophobia and Blood Echo
-
Spirit is overrated. Mainly because she’s extremely reliant on her power to get hits. Being a 110% Killer means she’s pretty much always just stalling for time to get her cooldown back and is only threatening in her phase
-
Recover exhaustion at half speed while running. Sounds a little crazy but it’d be niche because it would have anti-synergy with Sprint Burst since you couldn’t 99 it
-
No charms have been re-released before.
-
Head On is balanced simply because its an exhaustion perk. It’s definitely useful and a super high tier meme, but when its competing for a slot with Dead Hard, Lithe and Sprint Burst its hard to justify
-
My favorite build at Rank 1 is Blood Pact, Detective’s Hunch, Inner Strength and Dead Hard.
Reliable healing, anti-hex perk, the best exhaustion perk in the game and there’s always an Obsession even if no one brings Decisive Strike
-
Honestly, sometimes holding M1 gets boring. Interaction with the Killer is usually the most exciting gameplay (if you’re a halfway decent looper).
I think Survivors BM because they want to have fun. Making the Killer angry and going on super high stakes chases knowing the Killer is absolutely fuming is kind of a major ego trip ngl
-
I don’t get bored because I play both roles at Rank 1. Sometimes I gravitate more to Survivor, sometimes more to Killer. But the fact that DBD has two very different gameplay experiences is a big part of why I almost never get bored of it.
-
Nurse is one of those Killers where you’ll have really awesome games with clutch plays. And games where it seems like you do everything wrong.
Always remember that the real skill with Nurse is making reads and being able to predict what Survivors will do ahead of time. Everyone’s brain is different and some Survivors are really, really, really strange. Just don’t get too frustrated by making wrong reads and you’ll do fine. Letting yourself get in your own head and tilt is the easiest way to throw the game
-
Personally, I’d like to see most realms have multiple maps. It’d make the game more interesting and wouldn’t be nearly as hard as creating new maps because a lot of the assets could be reused

I’ve been perusing Supermassive’s social media feeds, and there’s nothing that hints they’re in the know, or they’re incredibly good at being tight lipped
(or they’re too distracted marketing Little Hope)
Who says the new DBD chapter isn't part of their marketing plan for Little Hope?
They could easily have a Survivor or legendary Survivor skin from the Little Hope as extra promo
-
If you're trying to make it as a streamer, any kind of reputation -good or bad- is something you want
