  • He is not weakest, but sometimes use his power make no sense, because it literally do nothing. He probably also has biggest punish for missing his power. That's why he's one of my least favorite killers to play as.

  • I see them sometimes. Alien is rare compare to how it was a month ago, but still exists. SM probably even more than before rework. And Knight is most rare and all of them just mostly m1. I also play Knight a lot by myself.

  • Add "What if" mode, where we will test some funny or interesting and crazy idea/things for 1 or 2 weeks. Maybe even do some balance changes on stats after.

    For example:

    • No aura perks for week
    • No exhaustion perks for week
    • All 4.4 killers are 4.5
    • Some new mechanics, like on events
    • Killers and survivors see each other auras 5 seconds, when match begins
    • Matches only with random perks
    • No scratch marks and terror radius week (my favourite one)

I have million ideas, but it never will come live sadly, cause BHVR need months or even years to change one symbol in perk's code, i don't expect they do something like this.

I don't know about happy, because the new windows really are really obnoxious, but it's definitely a massive improvement from where it was before.

You're missing some things from your problems with pre-rework Haddonfield, namely the ridiculous fences that could loop for ages without a gap. Those are completely gone, which is itself a big improvement. The street is also more dangerous than before, which is both good for killer and provides a little more strategy for survivor.

Really, the problems with new Haddonfield begin and end with those windows, which I'd consider hugely easier to fix than what we had before. It's not perfect and still needs work, but it's definitely nowhere near as bad as it used to be.

I agree, by "worse than before" i mean mostly part with windows, I didn't say it very correctly at the beginning.

But i don't think windows are only problem now, as i mentioned in the post. I think we should add some loops or at least guarantee no huge deadzones RNG along with fixing windows. Because now survivors are gods in buildings and have pretty weak defence outside.

Based on Nightlight CoH is not even under the Top 10 most used Survivor Perks. It has right now a pick rate of 2.55%.

I want to add that Nightlight does not reflect the whole state of the game but it does help to get a grasp of what to expect. Additionally I still don't think that most boons are weak, it's just that some are not practical. CoH requires another survivor to heal you which most of the time will not happen in Solo Q. Even in SWF you have better perks.

Shadowstep and Exponentiell are fine, only Dark Theory is just terrible.

The big Issue I see with Boons is that they all share the same paremeters, like someone else already stated on the forum. If boons would have different Range Parameters, values etc. they would be much stronger. But sadly they dont.

To get back to the topic: I think this idea is really bad and would only hurt boons. I don't see why you survivors should recreate a totem, that can be a potential threat to them plus you are wasting so much time in a meta where you have to push gens.

Another person arguing about power of the perk with his pickrate, nice. What's next? Will rate strength of yesterday wind by the number of fallen trees in another city?

That definitely won't work, because the power required to make boons viable with that kind of drawback would upset killers too much.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3569480#Comment_3569480

Currently, a snuffed boon takes 14 seconds to re-bless. Your suggestion changes that to 44-54 seconds. That is a colossal nerf.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3569499#Comment_3569499

CoH still stupidly strong, 8 sec healing = doesn't matter how much pressure you made as killer.

You got free pressure from CoH being set up, and it's not 8 second healing unless the injury and heal both happen in the boon radius. Any travel time to and from the boon gets deducted from the healing efficiency. And if someone has to wait for a teammate to show up, that takes a ton of time out of the efficiency, which is why people rightfully claim that CoH is kind of useless for solos and decent for swiffers.

It's still "1 perk that won the game"

That's like saying that Power Struggle is OP because someone got out with it one time.

Yes, I've already had this kind of debate here. Everything you said is sometimes true, and sometimes just a theory. Often boon in main easily covers most of the middle of the map and you don't have to run somewhere far away. Quite often you already find yourself close to its radius and you don't have to waste time to reach it. But sometimes you put it on the edge of the map, and all action takes place on the other side, and of course nobody will run in boon area. And it's just as normal as not using hex for the whole game or lose it in first 20 seconds.

Power Struggle doesn't win games for survivors just because it exists in the match. And CoH does.

I also love to play hit and run since not so many people run it. And in matches with CoH you can easily mention how it even stronger than before against this playstyle. 3 people could be healed in 12 seconds in 2024, and some guys ask buffs for it. It's as funny as it's dumb.

  • @Xernoton said:

Or the killer automatically destroys boon totems and Hex totems share their effects when survivors bless them.

Then boons could go back to being strong again. Just not as strong as the PTB version of CoH. That was unacceptable.

Strong again? In what world they are weak?

CoH still stupidly strong, 8 sec healing = doesn't matter how much pressure you made as killer. And please no "in soloq blablabla" bullshit. It literally was buffed with auras for solos, and it still one of my most used perks in soloq. It's still "1 perk that won the game", especially on some maps and against some killers. Yeah, you don't get value from it every game, but you shouldn't.

Shadow Step does its work perfectly well, what do you want from it? Auto gen repair in boon radius?

Exponential is situational, of course, but it literally broken in sfw and favourite perk for bully squads already. How would you buff it? And why?

Dark Theory is only boon that need slight buff. 5% to vault speed i think. You can make it 3% instead of 2%, if killers will have Shattered Hope basekit. And after MFT nerf, of course.

  • @Header said:

As a killer main who plays a lot of blight, I think just making ds trigger twice would be more effective

What a terribly silly suggestion. I can already imagine how every match turns into endless bodyblocking and feeding me with DS by survivor who just got off the hook.

Not every killer is a Blight, if anything.

Thank you dear, I'm glad you liked the changes.

About Hellshire Iron, it's meant more as a snowball addon at best, and a reload skip that rewards accuracy at worst. I don't think it really needs a drawback as it is right now, but I can see why you would think that.

Maybe you are right and it will be like Oak Haft + Flower Babushka effect on Huntress. We can find out the truth only if it ever comes to life sadly.

I wish BHVR to pay more attention when reworking any addons to opinions of players who have spent a really much time (sometimes thousands hours) on this killer.

  • @LatexT said:

I've been a Caleb main for more than 3 years now, and as much as I appreciate BHVR's attempts at touching his addons up, most of them are terrible. This is why I took the liberty of redesigning them to at least give them all good and purposeful effects, following the latest killers' design of having different effects instead of making the same value higher with each rarity. I'd be glad to take criticism, feedback and opinions. If these were taken into consideration for a future dev-made pass, that would be a dream come true.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/VTZVQ3U1MYT2/2023-10-22-16-49-10-caleb-addons-docx-word.png

I hope this doesn't go unnoticed, thank you.

It could be perfect addons pass! I love all of this! Especially Wanted Poster, such a good idea for Caleb's addon.

Really enjoyed reading this. Noticeable that it was done by a person who spent time studying this killer.

The only remark: Hellshire Iron probably should have some slight downside, because it should be too strong in hands of good Slinger, especially on some maps and tiles.

  • I let you like stuff, if you need my permission. How does this relate to what I wrote?

  • Crotus Prenn project tiles + turquoise lightning. What's so special about it?

  • Make it 5 seconds and disable on protection hit. Only problem with pre-nerf DS is bodyblocking with it. Same with OTR.

I can't play with black bars, and even more so at 16:9, and because of this, I haven't played the game for more than a year... I hope the permission will come back someday, because it gave joy and dynamics. Your humble player😭

Implementing bots was a nice step towards reducing the impact caused by disconecting survivors. However, it can't do its job when survivors choose the other way of giving up and abandoning the game: just killing themselves on hook. To make it worse, the game incentivizes people to choose this method: disconecting leaves you with no bloodpoints, experience (needed to get iridescent shards and rift fragments), or progress to any challenges or daily rituals, and gives you a penalty that stops you from immediatly joining another game, AS IT SHOULD BE for players that give up in the middle of a game and ruin the fun for everyone else.

Meanwhile, killing yourself on the hook gives no penalty whatsoever, even if its done in the trial's first minute. You still get any bloodpoints you had already collected, any bit of xp for having played a short match, still get challenge progress, and if you had used a White Ward, you can even keep your item and add-ons. In other words, rage-quitting players not only have an easy way of bypassing the DC penalty, they also have all the reasons to use the method of leaving the match that is more detrimental to their team.

My suggestion is to keep second stage skill checks, but that instant death that happens after missing two in a row should not happen if there's more than one survivor standing (not hooked, in the dying state or already dead). If there is only one survivor left beside you or everyone is already down, it makes sense to be able to immediatly die to save time and/or to open the hatch as soon as possible, but not to do it at the start of the game. The first hook stage can remain as it is today, as the 4% mechanic is a fun thing that should stay.

Was about to do similiar topic. But i believe something should be done with hook suicides overall.

In no other team oriented game you can #########, doom team to defeat and not get any punishment.

That is insulting to everyone that plays survivor. We don't want EZ wins, we want "fair" games. You can't say with a straight face that the game is so not busted right now for killer. It's just way to ez to play killer and yet you want to pretend it is "survivors" that want EZ wins.

The truth of the matter is that killers are loving the power fantasy as killer and I promise the death of this game will be because of it.

Yeah, of course. That's why i win about 80-90% of games in sfw and about 70-80% of soloq if we count matches where everyone know how to play (if we pretend that mmr is working as intended).

Truth is game is pretty good balanced for average players, still super survivor sided on high level and killer sided on low level. Let me guess where you are, if you're so sure of what you're saying.

That's not just for survivors, that's highkey a general thing about gamers nowadays. No one gives a ######### about improving at the games they play now. Everyone seeks the easiest, cheesiest route to success instead of earning their wins.

I agree, it's mostly common, no doubt. But survivors mindset is something extremely childish last time. I watched some streams while working on this week and 8/10 games survivors simply gave up at the beginning or middle of the game. And I went to play in this evening and in 4/8 games (for both sides) survivors gave up again. Tell me, has there ever been a time when killers gave up literally every second game if they didn't like something? Because I meet killers like this maybe once or twice a week.

  • @mecca said:

The skill required to play survivor is so ridiculously high that everyone on the teams has to be like pros. It's insane. Matchmaking will never fix that. Survivors need buffed in all aspects.

Yes, matchmaking 100% will not fix that. Because most survivors are just allergic to be any good at the game. 2 month of Alien matches and almost all still put turrets right in front of his exits. 3 months of new Onryo, still no one takes a tape. 1k hours, 3k and even 5k hours players still as awful at looping as me at 300 hours.

Just do gen simulator with Trapper bot, who miss attack right in front of him, and survivors like you will be the happiest players in the world.

  • My suggestion is: everytime you loot a chest you will appear in exit gates. It's not broken in any way too.

  • If BHVR gave me a dollar every time survivor in my matches give up during an equal game or even at the beginning of the match, I would probably become a millionaire. Bad survivors are a bigger danger to survivors than killers, I swear.

And then they ask why we focus on 60% win rate. I'm surprised current goal is not 80% with modern survivors.

  • some players, which have issues with colors

I think it's common problem. Nobody has ability to see red on red. So +1 to this.

It was most common complain about this map since origin PTB. I don't know why they ignored it even on rework.

Just make Freddy's Dream world colors by defaults, BHVR.

  • I think we should have a mode, where everyone with random perks. No meta, just meming with what you got.

and I healed myself ONCE what in the name of the entity has been done to healing…. ONE full heal and a usless small bar left… can someone explain to me if I failed maths or has healing been gutted AGAIN

Self healing was nerfed and altruistic healing was buffed. I run botany with medkit and give it to survivors to heal me. Half of them still don't understand what do i want from them, lol.

And you still can have two self heals with medkit with top addons.

And some people really, REALLY like backpacks, giant earrings, and impractical fashion wear straight off the runway.

I'm not one of those people, and I've never met one of those people, but there must be an enormous number of people out there who enjoy these things, considering how often we see them in this game.

Who are we to question someone else's tastes and ask that the average 9 to 5 working class humans be represented?

Why do people on this forum like to put their meaning into my words so much and I have to answer it? Did I say that there shouldn't be such skins or what?

You shouldn't need to lower your MMR. It is entirely possible and easier than ever before. Everything about survivors has been nerfed into dust the past two years (ALL items, healing, repairing, stealth). Add to this that MMR doesn't make any difference if the queue is waiting (meaning killer has the BP bonus). You will just get grouped with whoever is waiting.

Something that works for me is to just immediately grab them out of the locker and hook them. Once survivors start thinking you aren't going for the trophy and just want to win, they tend to not care as much after they are unhooked. You wouldn't believe the number of times I've gotten the Tombstone 4k with Shape over the years. This almost always gets them to stop hiding in lockers. If it doesn't, well then hook them and move on to the next match. The key here is to not hesitate. Don't even give them any hope that they might be screwing up what you are trying to do, then they won't put as much effort into screwing you up.

Shape should be able to kill survivors with this while they are hiding in the locker.

I never left them in lockers too. Most survivors just give up on hook after that, if they hooked early. Agree with last sentence!

    @Akumakaji said:

One thing that might also help is to be strategic with your kills and observe. Often there is one or two good survivors and some totally poor newbies. Don't go for the easy noob kill, try to identify who is the strongest player and don't show your colors too soon. Play a bit with them, let them be confident and then at the right time tier up and instantly kill them. Then go for the others and leave the worst player alive. They can still make it to hatch, which is your worst enemy besides lockers, but they will be scared to death. It took me an unreasonable amount of attempts, but somehow I managed it by murdering the 100h survivor last. I didn't feel proud, but was just relieved to get that achievment finally laid to rest.

On my way to its completion I had literally dozens and dozens of survivors jump into lockers and back out just to deny me the achievment. I mean, its a lose lose situation for everyone and no one is happy about it and I understand that not everyone is "happy to roll over and just let you kill them", but hiding in the locker won't let you escape, either, it just spites the killer who did the attrocious thing of trying to get a busted achievment. And by spiting them you are only subjecting another group of survivors to this very same experience. But empathy never was this communities strong suit, ever.

The couple of times I ran this build after getting the achievment, just for the lulz, it felt so unbelievable satisfying to just pull them out of their lockers and hook them. They seemed genuinely surprised by this, expecting me to wait in front of the locker in frustration.

But empathy never was this communities strong suit, ever.

    Sad, but true.

Yeah, i always save the best for last :D

    @[Deleted User] said:

Also use Shack or BSMT offering for Hatch. If you happen to kill 3 you'll know where to close it ahead of time so fourth survivor doesn't luckily stumble on it.

Usually it literally helps the last survivor to get to hatch faster than me, unless he's not too smart or i mori last survivor near it, so I don't think it's a good idea.

Ground moris don't count, it has to be from tombstone.

it took me months (of irregular attempting) and several million BPs to get it and in the end it was entirely in the survivor's hands

most people would disconnect or intentionally die to EGC before they let me tombstone them

or the game would end right as I got T3 or shortly after

point is, repeatedly attempting this is your only shot post-Dredge update where they added a billion lockers since you can't even drag survs away from them anymore

unless you're super lucky like one of my friends was, he got some friendly survs first game that handed it to him

I will say the best build I used had tinkerer/play with your food

some other stuff but i can't look at it right now, if you remind me later I can pull it up and post it ig

Yeah, stealth perks help me a lot, i also love Trail of Torment.

  • I still think they should buff SH mechanic like this

    @fussy said:

This is my last match with SH:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/LGYJ2HTVMH0M/aaaaaaa.png

And that's why i never consider any SH perk as a good perk. Because they are too situational and you can literally not get any use for the whole match from them simply because of their terrible spawn. And it's not like once on a 10 games, matches like this make up 50-70% of all my games.

I think these changes would make this mechanic a lot more fair and worthwhile:

    • At the start of the Trial, 5 random Hooks are changed into Scourge Hooks (was 4 random Hooks)
    • 1 additional Scourge Hook spawns for each additional perk after the 1st

So 2 SH perks? 6 Scourge Hooks (5+1). 4 SH perks? 8 SHs (5+3). Except Monstrous Shrine, I think it should just make SHs in the basement.

In addition, the announced change to Hangman's Trick from PTB is still nerf to this already super bad perk. These SH mechanic changes will make this perk really worth it, especially when paired with other SH perks.

So when I got mine done, I was able to kill off 3 like normal. The last guy wouldn’t get out of the locker. I’d grab, let him wiggle, and he’d go straight back in.

I eventually got him by grabbing him and letting him wiggle off elevation which gave him stagger, not giving him enough time to get to a locker. Something to keep in mind!

Yes, I've had the same matches, but it's very rare when it turns out to catch a survivor in a really good deadzone, from where you can't reach the locker. It's a good strategy to help with, and i know about it, but still too rng and luck depends. Thank you anyway!

    @UndeddJester said:

You kinda have to hope that survivors are a bit potatoish, so lowering your MMR helps a lot... however you can brute for it to a degree. Can't remember who posted this build, but credit to them whoever they were.

PWYF, Agitation, Iron Grasp and Corrupt Intervention, and the 2 iri add-ons.

The Game is pretty good for this, as you can take people to the gates and drop them off the ledge off your left shoulder so you can catch them before getting to hatch or lockers. Once you get the first 2 out, you can slug one player and go for the last (hopefully the obsession to get your last stack back), then carry the last to a dead zone and try to finish them off.

I actually got in on RPD, but that's the principle. I got super lucky and got it on my first attempt cause I got players who were really not good... but this build helped a lot, and the fact players can DC now and leave a bot makes this A LOT easier to get.

Thank you! This is probably the only option out of all answers that I haven't thought about and haven't tried.

Also thanks to everyone who answered!

Only because OP went against a pretty inexperienced Killer (not throwing anything against OP here, but someone who lets themselves blind 8 times while picking up a Survivor is really not good or experienced) does not make the Perk suddenly good.

An inexperienced killer has no place here. Does this perk doing his job? No doubt. Does it do its job well? Yes. You can have value from it anytime? No, because it's niche perk. Gongats, you discovered good niche perk.

It was a pretty inexperienced knight who insta picked everything. Never really checked for shooters. He was protecting a 3 gen pretty hard so he would drop chase with anybody who started taking him away from it.

This does not mean that the perk should allow you to make saves from 20 meters. Sabo is also very situational perk, does it mean we should buff it to brake all hooks in 32 area at once? It doesn't work so. Escape killer's grasp is a big deal, so you can't expect some constant value from this perk.

  • Yeah, this perk definitely needs this buff. 100+ perks that do almost nothing can wait another 3 years or so, while we buff already strong perks, lol.

Bless your heart for thinking all those builds can’t be countered as well by most killers. People just run the same builds on both roles because they’re more reliable and try to have guaranteed they will always get value from them (fair enough) and they don’t take risks. Both roles need more perks buffed instead of nerfed. If you don’t enjoy your killer games and feel forced to run the same build all the time… At that point seems like a problem with your mentality not matching the purpose of the game. Get well soon and have the sweetest weekend!

Who said builds should be countered or not? I do builds for having value and fun in matches.

Ma man talking about my mentality while saying things like this lol

Both roles are stale af buildswise, don’t try to get pity points lmao. Niche perks need to be buffed to make them more appealing to use sometimes instead of nerfing what is already strong and popular. Background player will be fine.

4 (or 2/3 boons), chase build, cleanse / bless totems build (my favourite in last months), lockers build, super speed healing build, genrush build, altruism build, flashlight saver, stealth build, second chances / antitunnel build, midchase disappear build, anti-camping build, sabo build. And it without builds i run in sfw or just mixed builds.

Killers builds: Oh u didn't take at least 2 slowdowns? Welcome to gen pop simulator. 4 aura builds? Cool, here is your 5 hooks. Full chase build? Cool, here is your 5 hooks. Undetectable build? Cool, here is your sfw who don't give a f. Hex build? Cool story bro, how is your 2019? Run out of builds? But it's not even a half of survivors builds.

This poor variety on survivors(((((((( It's not like they only want to run op things and complain about variety of their builds(((((((9( Definately not

Background player is fine now and literally no one asks for buffs before.

  • @adaw0ng said:

and here we go... they buff something for the sake of variety and now we start molding over BACKGROUND PLAYER. of all exhaustion perks... I think that at this point some people will only be happy when the game has no perks and you instantly spawn with all survivors sacrified as killer and at the exit gate as survivor.

Lack of variety on survivors? LMAOOOOO

I wish a had at least half of my survivor's build variety on killers.

I'm not even surprised to read that when literally every match 80% of survivors is just MFT + Hope + Adren + Resilience.

I don’t really need to make this post long, this perk is going to be atrocious to play against in coordinated teams.

with pick up time being roughly 3-ish seconds, that allows a second survivor to stay at an atleast EXTREMELY safe 20 meters away. Meaning if the survivor being picked up on pallet is guarenteed to get to safety with basically nothing the killer can do about it.

the perk was fine as it was, increase the duration of the speed by a lot to make it a stronger option for sabos (because sabo-ing is kinda trash rn) or give it a shorter exhaustion duration like you did with Smash hit.

and please, i don’t wanna hear the arguments of: “well it’s not as good in solo queue.” (Every perk isn’t as good in solo queue lets be real) or “you’ll barely ever see it.” (SM had an extremely low pick rate and took priority to get changed) or even “not everyone knows the pallet save timing.” (Dumbest thing that could possibly be said).

I don’t wanna ruin fun but this perk change is so atrocious.

I completely agree. I'm afraid of this buff too. Don't know why they decided to buff it at all, when this perk was already good and even stupid and annoying in swf hands. Buff this perk further is just ridiculous.

In august i had probably my the worst match ever against swf, who went down only in open or in the pallet. They made 6 or 7 saves and it was felt super awful no matter how hard i tried to prevent or dodge it. And no one had this perk, i can't imagine this hell if at least 2 of them had this perk.

  • In what world people say in sfw "don't come to me, because killer camp"?

It's always "killer is camping, just trade (or come to save me in duo if it's endgame) on hook when the stage will come to end", unless it's Bubba or basement Huntress/Trickster

Same thing i do in solo, just trade in the end of stage and unbearable facecamping is done.

  • Yeah, especially with Borgo's colours is... oh, wait.

Also i don't know why they reduce amount of pallets here.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7FxKCseJFQ

Is it really too much pallets?

Idk why Background Player needed a buff, when we have 100+ trash perks on both sides and BPlayer is just good and annoying niche perk.

And SM is probably still most boring and not desired killer to play as. I'm sure in six months she will break records Of Hag and Twins in community disinterest.

    So yeah, great job.

We've had Dev Blogs get posted on Friday before. We've even had Dev Blogs posted the day before the patch goes live as well.

Last time we didn't get a dev blog was because there was really no changes going live. So if we don't get one by the time midchapter releases, don't expect much to have been changed.

Yes, it was, but more like an exception to the rule, I think. In any case, I will be glad to see it even the day before the patch, even though it makes not so much sense.

thank god, 5 days until im able to play female survivors again

I'm surprised so many people still don't know that patch always comes out in 3 weeks after PTB.

  • @GroßusSchmiedus said:

Doesn't it release with the event on the 18th? There is still some time till then. No need to get impatient.

Also not a lot needs to be changed, Sadako went from rivaling Trapper as the worst during the PTB to a decent spot with just a few small adjustments, just let them figure out which ones they are.

The only disappointment so far which i think won't make it in time are the bad perk changes.

It comes out in 5 day, on 10th. And the news was always a week before that.

And they also announced that they make another changes with perks, but that's what bothers me the least on this ptb.

Anti hook camping is delivered greatly by the developers. Soon 3 gen will be history too! Hope anti slugging and anti tunneling comes too in the future to make survivors have fun playing dbd again.🥳🥳🥳🥳

Number of likes under this post perfectly shows how many people not even close understand what they are playing.

In your ideal world with all these "anti" things, killer should have a chase no longer than 20-30 seconds to at least have a chance to verse survivors. This means that pallets will not exist at all, and the game will turn into a simulator of shortening the distance with a guaranteed hit after. And it won't be fun for anyone.

Anyway, chase is most fun part of the game from both sides, and it's sad that so many survivors don't understand that they will be forced to put something on the other side of balance that reduces the duration of chase in order to compensate it all.

  • I watch Otz a lot and love him as content creator, but sometimes he says absolutely crazy things.

If some dudes can't break a totem they already did is a biggest problem in the game, well, i guess game in the great spot right now.

    @Evan_ said:

It confirms my theory that sooner or later everyone loses their mind if the stick to dbd.

And i agree with this. He lives this game so much that he started overthink it.

its always so annoying when I hear people talk about how bad tunneling is and in the same breath call OTR garbage and unusuable. Like, buddy, did you ever actually try USING the anti tunnel given to you? The anti tunnel thats actually very powerful? People who call OTR bad have no right to complain about getting tunneled, you arent bringing the clear option to counter it.

Agree, but on another hand it's also valid point. BUT I meet killers who want to tunnel me so much that they hit me off the hook, probably once every 50 games. And in such cases it is endgame most often. In all other cases, this is an excellent perk against tunneling. It also destroyed me in my killer's matches when i need to tunnel and i didn't stand near the hook. With anticamping system it will strongest anti-tunnel perk in hands of any survivor.

DS depends on where you went down, but if you have at least something nearby, it's still free opportunity to win time to your team. I still see survivors who bait me with lockers just to get some value (as they think) from it. I mean, they could buff it to 4 seconds, but good looper will live and bad looper will go down regardless.
