The Ghost hasn't even released yet. The PTB is there for a reason. Constructive criticism is great and helps but I really think people are taking this too far and should hold off on calling the Ghost the greatest abomination / a personal attack on killers as a whole until we have the actual product in our hands.
It's not like The Ghost wasn't an interesting concept. It just doesn't translate well in the current state of the game when played against survivors with any level of competency.
As far as the perk changes go, I like them for the most. I just wish they'd do away with the obnoxious, unnecessary red-flash when pallet stunned.
@HP150 The problem is most people have started to realize the feedback for the most part is ignored. Even the surveys are ignored. How many people expressed they didn't want a battle pass in this game and it was ignored.
-
I could loop them on most maps while insulting them with sarcasm. I would be fine but some of those killers might need therapy.
-
Myers he feels right for a horror game and is fun with the jump scares.
-
@ForsakenM Your friend could afk for a bit or suicide on the first hook.
-
The flashlights only revealing Hag's traps seems fair.
I think Trapper needs to start with ALL his traps but that is just me. All of the lower tier killers need a little something to make them viable and fun to play as and against.
Fun is not playing against the same 3-4 killers after a certain rank.

Take a shot of whatever liquid you want for everytime a developer says the following words during the stream -year -community -feedback -thank -fans -excited -announce Feel free to add more in the comments!
I'm gonna need a liver transplant after the stream.

What kind of human being does this? https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/108/SAXQCUL00D9B.jpg
@Laakeri They played strategic giving themselves the best chance of survival. It is the same if a killer plays an all hex build and plays the game map.
-
@PinkEricka I think we stopped before you got to those Killer outfits, might be more? Anyway the point I was making that night to you and @chemical_reject was that the game is well funded just based on purchases the 3 of us made and averaging it among the player base.

What are the current game breaking bugs that need immediate fix?
I think I've gotten so used to the way the game is that I don't even notice them any longer.
Windows still don't get blocked by the entity at certain windows, skill checks disappear mid match are two i have seen in the last week.
-
New map Costco or Sam's Club?
-
Every single game I rather get... As killer:
Maybe take a break for a bit. I've been playing Days Gone since release and it is so much fun. Getting chased by a Horde gives you a horror feel.

I guess I’m the only one experiencing this issue.... FML...
A friend had this happen twice this weekend. I had it where my last skill check stayed on the screen the rest of the game.

Jason he feels like the only character missing with Myers, Freddy and Leatherface already in the game and Ghostface coming.

LOL @chemical_reject I know you have been asking for this.

@bambusratte_xD I'm gonna need a new liver at that rate.

In my opinion, killer is super frustrating to play, while survivor is super boring to play. Do you agree?
@Victor_hensley IMO not anywhere near what it once was. I don't think it is fatigue from the game but more of a frustration level with all the bugs, lobby issues and such.

My prediction on this perk Mettle of Matt: When a survivor dies they spawn back in as Matt, Matt then proceeds to kill the killer with no hesitation and the survivors win.
New perk available with the newest DLC everyone buys it, Killer complain, perk is changed rinse and repeat. The salt on this one would be amazing though.
-
@malloymk I like the counter if you use small game. Exits spawns definitely, I'm all for moris for anyone who reached the 2nd stage of the hooking phase built in.
Ruin built in will hurt less experienced survivors and push bad killers up the ranks who eventually get smashed than come to the forum asking for survivor nerfs. It will just be a major crutch.

@fcc2014 why does plague need a change? it is only a bonus if they don't cleanse as they will be a instadown if you start chasing them
I don't know how it is on all platforms but they are getting rushed off the board. Their base power is weak in comparison to other killers. Survivors are learning to adept by not cleansing. The killer for being the latest is rarely seen.
-
Plague needs a change. Killer is weak when survivors don't cleanse.
Boil over needs something more, hooks are still far too close without offerings.
Corrupt Intervention could become a meta perk by blocking all generators and totems for the designated time at the start of the game.
I disagree with Self-care and healing not needing to be changed. The slow down stopped survivors healing and created more gen rushing/adrenaline meta but it has been in the game far too long that those players won't go back to healing.
-
I guess they sold enough of the Ash vs the Evil Dead DLC to change MOM. Protection Hits now create stacks just like they are suppose to for WGLF but are buggy as is this game at best.
-
"You require 4 hooks to be sacrificed" Mark my words it's coming.
@FriendlyKiller @se05239 I think you are both right and it will be introduced in a chapter that has to be paid for with cash.

I will continue playing 50/50 since it isn’t nearly as bad as you say.
I could see if OP was complaining about the sound bugs but a perk come on.

If you take this as mocking you and your forum "stats" I am. You need a hobby.

Right :P Then again, it was based on the remake, so that was a mistake in and of itself .
@TheShape78 i know it will sound like blasphemy but i like the version of Freddy we got. The Robert Englund version in the later movies felt to comedic for what he was suppose to be.
-
@TheShape78 agreed that she is associated with the entire franchise. I only bring up Randy because of Quentin's back story and the insinuation he was about to die and being pulled by the entity just like others have been alluded to. I guess the idea that Sidney never truly escapes just like Laurie is a downer.

The new ranking system wants you to play in a certain way. You won't rank up otherwise.
This will lead to endless queues on high ranks and instant lobbies on low ranks.
This then will lead to lots of complaints and the devs will change the requirements, just like they did in the past.
Or players leaving because of long ques or because the game becomes easy mode and boring.
-
@HatCreature that is why i think Randy could be interesting as well given his knowledge. He may have more stealth perks. It would also be pretty Meta him vs Myers since he knows it is a movie.

That's like NOT putting Laurie Strode with Halloween pls god no
@SasukeKun Randy wouldn't be bad if he was taken right as he was dying in the van. His backstory plus movie knowledge could be interesting. The map would make less sense though.

Yeah man, the Woodsboro high school would be a cool map, but keep in mind that nothing is final yet, as the dlc is not finished yet, so who knows. Plus, this was just a glitch, but considering it was there at all makes it seem like a safe bet we're getting Sidney's house, which I'm not opposed to, frankly.
I'm not opposed to the house as it is important in part 1 and the set version in part 3 just disappointed it isn't an actual school and also afraid we get another reskin.
-
Knock out: everytime you hit a survivor you fall to the ground stunned for 60s and can't be seen by survivors.
-
@TheShape78 said:
There are things that hint towards it. The guy that was supposed to announce the Ghostface Content said on Twitter that it's a chapter with map and survivor . Also there was a glitch from the PTB a few weeks ago showing the map name 'Sidney's house Woodsboro'. Not to mention, it's time for the next 'chapter' to be released, (Every 3 months).
Sidney's house??? I was hoping for a 2 story school. I hope the map is not a reskin of Haddonfield.

Buying a battle pass that awards bloodpoints or a multipler for bloodpoints earned is pay to win(moris' syringes ,instaheals ultra rare killer addons etc) If the pass is strictly used just to earn cosmetics and unique cosmetics tied to that season who cares.
Spend your money but remember you already paid $20 or $30 for the game depending on what platform you play on and not to mention chapters, charity case, headcase, and cosmetics already.
When you add it all up you maybe shocked how much money you actually have put into this game. I had a discussion with a friend this weekend and we added up her stuff while waiting in a lobby it was somewhere between $240 and $270. $20 here and there for Auric Cells adds up.
-
I thought the same thing they are already doing what you ask them to do.
-
-
Nea played that poorly even with a gate near the hatch.
-
I'm main billy with 2.6k hours, but maybe it's not the right balance for him, but ... let's go there.
Billy is fine as is. people raising issues about him just want to see him nerfed.
-
Who cares if a killer spams their mori. Let them waste time. It is the same if the killer camps and hits you on the hook. I will struggle until the end. Let them waste time.
-
The framerate is better give it another shot @AFKstrats The game does have other bugs though.
-
I don't think they will ever do exclusives again. You do have your trophies and when you unlocked them though.
-
Why are fountains THAT much OP??
Many survivors already don't use the fountains to heal. If you remove the instant heal nobody will use them as it gives the killer their ranged power. Plague would become the worst killer in DBD after a few weeks of all survivors beginning to adapt.
-
Billy is not OP. He is a top tier killer. All killers should be in the category of Billy and Spirit just slightly under Nurse.

It's a little more complicated than that. The healing changes, along with sloppy butcher being buffed at the same time, definitely shifted the meta. The issue is that changing it back wouldn't necessarily make the meta change back.
To really understand how much time not healing saves, you need to look at how many charges healing takes, since that tells you how many charges could be going into generators. A self care at half speed is the same as two survivors at full speed (rather than one person spending 32 seconds, for example, two spend 16). Each second a survivor is occupied is a charge they could be putting into a generator.
Let's assume that sloppy butcher isn't at play, even though it's a very popular perk, and that nobody is self healing with a medkit to balance it out. When you really break it down:
- If all four survivors are injured and need to heal with a base 16 heal time, that would work out to effectively 128 charges.
- If all four survivors are injured and need to heal with a base 12 heal time, that would work out to effectively 96 charges.
There's definitely a difference there, but when you consider that 80 charges is a solo generator, you'd see that it's a no brainer not to heal most of the time. The time it would take for everyone to heal up, even with the old heal times, is more than the time it would take to fully repair a generator.
Let's just take the old heal times as an example. You could heal everyone in 96 total seconds, or you could repair a generator, get healed in the process, and get a huge speed boost while you're at it all in 80 seconds. Not to mention the extra insurance you get from having adrenaline activate while you're on the hook.
Even before, the no heal meta would have worked, it was just that hardly anyone realized it. Switching the healing times back wouldn't change that.
"It's a little more complicated than that. The healing changes, along with sloppy butcher being buffed at the same time, definitely shifted the meta. The issue is that changing it back wouldn't necessarily make the meta change back."
It wouldn't. The survivors who moved away from it would still run what is working for them. This would only help survivors who still waste time healing and would hurt killers.
It was a change not thought out or tested enough. It is the same thing with Plague everyone thought the fountains instantly healing would be a big deal. Smart survivors just stayed sick to keep the Plague weaker.

@fcc2014 I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing 😂
I'mma go with half because I won't be there when it's released, but good because when I come back I can rep those threads.
Edit: Yea I have no idea what you're trying to say lol 😂
@Detective_Jonathan, you like the Village People looking Tapp outfit? BTW i thought you were laying off for a year. A bet with your dad?
-
I just wish the Hag would stop flaunting her curves it is distracting ;)
-
And stop pumping out new content when the game itself is in a terrible state.
I feel you PREACH!!!
I understand @TreemanXD maybe layoff some of those "content creators" and hire more for bug fixes since we have and constantly have so many issues?
-
Can we seriously stop trying to nerf things for weaker killers and instead bring all killers to Nurse, Billy and Spirit Level.
