Yep.
Its the only thing I hate out of the whole chapter.
Punishment of the Damned isn’t worth the risk most of the time, even at loops where survivors have little evasive options.
I love Cheryl’s perks.
I love PH perks.
I love Midwich.
I love Rites of Judgement & Cages of Atonement.
I hate Punishment of The Damned.
You... like PH perks?
How
-
Instant killer que or longest 2 minutes
Survior que either solo or 4stack is minum 10-15 minutes and sometimes its even 20 minutes long depending on the night.
The event and dlc has helped but for ps4 its still massively longer to be Survior
The logic is you only need 1/4 of the killers as you do Surviors for instant matches both sides
So if killers are instant then there's 10-20 times the survivors
and that imbalance could be pure players a combo with ranks imbalance as there are wayyy more red rank survivors then killers
-
Ph really isn't that good...
-
I'm not getting clown, legion, oni, or deathslinger
And I already regret getting demi and PH
These killers really don't work out well. A rarely see them on ps4 anyway so I know everyone agrees they are weak.
I've seen 1 deathslinger since the first two weeks he dropped. One. single. Uno.
-
so you have one injured person somewhere on the map with self-care
He can sit in a safe place and heal for 32 seconds
Or he can take another survivor away from a gen to heal him for 16 seconds right? But... thats one person healing and one being healed ? You not only bunch up and loose map pressure but you tie up hands for 16seconds twice that's 32 either way.
This also puts you in activation for several killer perks , requires communication and travel times for both players.
If my buddie and I are the last alive and he's in a chase... he can't stop and heal me ima self care and at full health swap with him to extend the chase letting him also heal/toolbox a gen
Selfcare is one of the most powerful perks in the game, not because its good but because it takes co-op only actions and gives you that power.
Deliverance is another in the self care build that makes you
totally independent and thats a better power then any killer has : /

Not with new Perks released. Those were in general better (up until Deathslinger).
Idk... most only get one viable perk or even useable and the rest HAVE to be combined for an entire build to function unless you get one that's an actively detrimental and waste a slot

He does not prove anything with those kind of vids. If anything, he proves that he is a decent player, but thats it (I would not consider him the best player, not even close, but well..)... He also streams at a time where the general player Skill in this area is lower. The good players mostly play in the evening. I face the same people tru3 does, and during the afternoon they are much easier to handle than those who play in the evening (on both sides).
And the REALLY strong players play at night, from what I can say.
So yeah, his experiment is flawed. First of all, he can only prove something if he would do KYF-Matches against skilled players - players where he knows that they are skilled. And second, if he wins like 15 out of 16 games or something like this, yeah, this is great. But if this happens with every Killer he is playing, can he really say that some Killer is underrated? Or that he, as the player, makes the difference?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1391626#Comment_1391626
He has a big ego and blames his own mistakes on other things. Like, if he loses a game, he is in general quite salty and blames that his opponents where in an SWF or are possibly using stretched resolution. And he is insanely one-sided, despite alway saying he plays both sides. You notice it when he checks new Perks for Survivors, they are all really strong and Killer Perks are always weak.
Like, if I compare it to Umbra (I watch her since a while, even tho I always only catch the end of her Stream), just yesterday she got a 3K with Huntress and said that it was her fault to not check the one Gen which got finished at the end. While tru3 would probably be like "Yeah, optimal team, nothing we can do, blablabla" (if he even would have managed to get a 3K..).
Killer perks are really weak compared to the effects of survivors perks
-
There is no killer perk that downs an injured survivor
1But there is a perk that heals a downed survivor to injured instantly.
There's no killer perk that pulls a survivor into your grasp
2But there is a perk that breaks the killers grasp effectively saving them from a hook/death
There's no killer perk that stuns a survivor for doing there objective
3But there is a lengthy stun perk for survivors to use.
You may be thinking wow a killer with a loadout of perks that does that ? No way would they loose running those. Gg ez 4k evry ddayy.
But a single survivor perk does all that ?
Nah its fine.
And you know something ?
It would be... if only the Obsession had it.
Or if it didn't work tons of synergy with almost every other meta perk.
Like imagine if surge pop and ruin all worked together? Picture every gen always regressing and then every down they all explode for 8% and every hook they reset 25% or...
wowza worse imagine if they combined. Like pop was the next gen you damage looses 25 and then you hit a surge and blow 3 gens with a pop power
But DH BT DS Adrenaline yeah those can all work together...
You can dodge a clear hit with DH save on the cooldown and BT a survivor off the hook for clear hit number two ignored then even if you down this guy you can't get him anyway because ds will just let him escape. Adrenaline pops and everyone jumps up or fully heals and runs for the gates...
From killer mains across the board its not these perks that are so powerful its that killer perks are so weak and survivor perks work so well together to be collectively nasty when entire groups use them. A 4 squad means 4 ds stuns (20 seconds of 3 survivors each doing gens is an entire gen) 4 adrenaline is 4 slugs getting up or 4 people fully healed with gates ready to open. 4 DH is at least 4 clear hits avoided if not 4 loops restarted that's enough for gens to pop.
That's my thinking on it
-
If saving someone wasn't part of the challenge. When you got down you'd just die and loose a life respawning elsewhere
-
Yeah !

This argument is so incoherent and flawed.
Relying on statistics in this manner doesn't provide the whole picture and is just generally misleading. There are so many different surveys and statistics out there it's not accurate to only use one. Not to mention results will differ greatly between different locations, sample sizes, data presentation methods etc.
Looking at the proportion of LGBT people as a percentage makes the community look really small, however, if you translate it into actual numbers you'd see that you're actually referring to a large group of people:
- According to Google, the population of the US was 328.2 million people in 2019.
- 3.5% of 328.2 million is (if I've done the math correctly) 11487000 people.
As you can see, this is not a small number by any means as your statistics would imply. Are you suggesting that 11487000 people aren't enough to deserve representation?
Incoherent ? Nah you understood it you just didn't like it.
-
Surv obj time is 420seconds. 105 each. So honestly the match can end in 4 minutes or less if they move from one to the next.
Is that enough time to hook and kill survivors on every killer ? No.
Every second spent chasing is 3 survivors doing gens. Tick tick tick. Minute long walk across the map and successful chase 240 surv obj seconds left congrats games almost done at first hook
Most killers don't have mobility to cover that.
So noed. At the least you can move quick and get someone at the door for a down. Now if they hook rush with bt and ds its still literally impossible to stop them.

I mean people play games for fun?
There are 4 other people in that game with you. If the game was designed around the killer getting a 4k every game then those four other people would basically be playing to lose every game. That's why the game devs have said the aim for a 2k and 2 escape each match. It ensures that one side isn't always dominating the other side so both sides can have fun.
If your idea of fun every game is a 4k that is your call, but I don't think thats the devs goal for an average game. It's abundantly clear that we're not changing sides on this, so its really up to you to reply again and we can just keep repeating the same arguments, otherwise I suspect this is a good point for our discussion to end.
Lol people play games for fun is the single most devolved argument here. Like i know i was bad stating the goal is always to win but wowza.
Never ever once asked to 4k every game.
I did ask for win conditions for each team that was reasonable. In no other online only game on the planet is a draw every match fair and Ballence.
But even if it was, a "draw" for killers is still 2 people winning... if your letting the other team win why cant I?
And im sure your draw conditions apply... to like... rank 20-15
I can win in rainbow 6, showdown, preditor, white noise, FD13 but not here ?
"Play for fun" this isn't a casual game? It's multi-player ranked matchmaking with scores screens, leaderboards and win Loss entity. Noone is stopping you from playing for fun... but like your team will get pissed if you screw around instead of contributing... its life or death setting ???
I don't need to win every match.
Please
please
please don't mistake me.
But after 1000 posts in a forum 2hours of watching streamers and YouTube videos every week, monthly training sessions with my party, 2200 hours in game and almost every character with unlocked perks.
I think asking for a clear reasonable win condition with in game messaging isn't to much to ask for.
If you tell me 2k is the best I should do against people of equal rank then the game should reflect that.
Please dont mistake me for entitled to a 4k. And I know my gamer competive feelings aren't universal.
My sentiment is this
But if I spend every second of this game using perks to the fullest. If I cut every corner in each chase, and hook and never waste a second needlessly searching just pressure pressure sweat time every loop and memorize every data of math in this game... I'm gonna be honest whatever the outcome 1k 2k 4k
id like the game at the very least to tell me GG.
But the dark one, score, emblems, pips they dont. : /

But your looking at the survivors as individuals not a team. the game is 4v1 not 1v1v1v1v1. Yes the teams are not fair because its 4 against 1, but it is still two teams.
I personally define a draw as a win, its not loss to me. You seem to define it as a loss. That is just our perceptive on the game. I never feel unsatisfied on a 2k. Depending on the game, I can find a 2k way more satisfying than a 4k, because it more than likely means I had some fun chases (don't get me wrong there can be games where people just camp and run from pallet to pallet but those are the exception). Where often times a 4k doesn't feel earned unless its to the end of the game. I find games where I 4k at 3 gens boring.
Really this just boils down to how you look at a draw, because its honestly not a win or a loss. I personally see a draw as a positive, it sounds like you don't. The real question than comes to who's views do the devs want to support. Mine or yours?
I mean people play games to win ?
I mean sure you have ur meme screw around teams for sure but generally people have fun winning, improving, being rewarded accordingly.

Did you just skip over the draw part is a 2k and 2 Escape... I am saying "Entity Displeased" doesn't indicate a tie... it indicates a lose.
I am not saying the game should always end in 2k and 2 Escape, I am saying if you are equal in skill on both sides than the game should on average end in a draw. If you are winning more games than drawing than you are not playing people at the similar skill level or are being boosted by a perks.
Basically on average you should 2k and (black) pip, but that doesn't mean that you should still be able to 4k or even 0k. It just means those shouldn't be your average outcomes.
No like I get that but like
How unsatisfying is it to draw ?
While every single time a survivor escapes they win ?
2k to 2e
5 players. Two lost, two win, one draws
Why do killers have to be always unsatisfied?
I want some dam good incentives If im going to be forced to DM. If im just the host for a party and im forced to entertain everyone I demand alot more control over the game.

This is the biggest change I want the devs to make cough @Peanits cough
I really wish the in game messaging didn't make you feel like you lost on a draw, It shouldn't make you feel like you won either. But nothing about seeing Entity Displeased on a 2k says draw, it says, you lost sucker, git gud. I think they either need to just remove the messaging or make it better reflect the 2 escape 2k = draw instead of lose.
Well my points and leaderboard put me on the bottom anyway.
Being alone on a team I should score better then everyone if I beat everyone right ?
If I've beaten 3 players my score should be better then 3 combined right ?
If the games ballenced for 2k why doesn't the game end when I get them ? Why keep playing and why can't i choose to end it myself by starting egc as killer at any time ?
-
I just want to please the entity
so he doesnt leave me like my father did.
But if I dont ultra 4k sweaty hes always displeased... always... please come home its been 21 years and I just want to meet you

I have to disagree with this. If you managed to get the adept this way, then congratulations.
As an Adept Plague holder myself I would advise that the power should be used as often as possible.
I get Merciless with Plague on a semi regular basis and pretty much hardly ever remove Dark Devotion, Infectious Fright, and Corrupt Intervention because of just how wonderful these perks are on her. As far as one killer having all 3 teachables serving the killer better than any other perks, Plague takes the cake.
A Plague player should have a large disparity between the amount of hits and downs she is getting versus actual hooks.
Here’s my summary of my approach in matches:
- until you find survivors, infect every gen. EVERY GEN. Periodically check around the blocked gens for hiding survivors if Plague can’t stumble across any before the CI timer expires. If survivors being super immersed with CI, then right before the timer expires infect those 3 gens too in order to piss the survivors off more for being so dumb as to wait till those gens are available.
- Priority is getting everyone infected ASAP. Remember if the first chase is difficult, as long as they have infection then Plague has already injured them. If a survivor is difficult to infect with Vile Purge directly (or they’re just not jumping onto infected gens), then infect vaults and pallets at the current loop and FORCE that survivor to use one of them, even if it means eating a pallet stun. If survivors start feeling threatened enough that they start cleansing and no one is infected, the priority shifts back to getting everyone (or as many as possible) sick ASAP.
- Dark Devotion - The Obsession is your toy. YOUR. TOY. Yes of course the Obsession needs to go on the hook 3 times at some point, but most of the time Plague comes across the Obsession they should be whacking them (preferably making sure they have infection too) and then Plague should be using Undetectable to get the jump on other survivors while the Obsession causes disruption and confusion as they run around the map. This is even better if the Obsession was injured or fully infected and gets downed. Plague can go get the jump on other survivors, whilst they’ll be a little hesitant running in to help the Obsession while they’re emitting a TR. This all has great synergy with Infectious Fright. Don’t discount DD 30 seconds on Undetectable. 30 seconds in DBD is longer than most people realise, and I almost always get a benefit from doing this strategy.
- Infectious Fright - it goes without saying that if a notification pops up, slug and go chase the revealed survivor, ESPECIALLY if they’re either Broken, Plague has Corrupt Purge, or both. It’s usually never sensible to ignore an IF notification. They’re probably someone with a flashlight anyway.
9 times out of 10 the combination of regular using Dark Devotion to jump scare broken survivors, and Infectious Fright frequently revealing their location (and Plague subsequently acting upon it) will lead to cleansing. Yes, even the most stubborn try hard non cleansers end up cleansing when they get sick of being insta-downed because they keep getting caught out in a disadvantaged position by DD or IF.
- Corrupt Purge - try not to use Fountains willy nilly. Try not to let them reset either. My general rule of thumb of when I use them is when a chase takes me somewhat past one. It’s almost always worth the deviation and the loss of distance in the chase to activate it and resume the chase. How do you judge if a fountain is close enough or not mid chase? By assessing whether or not you feel confident that you can quickly track where the survivor went.
This.

I'll keep this short and sweet (disclaimer - this will NOT BE short and sweet). I have NEVER, in the last ~10years been so tilted that I felt the need to make a forum account for a game, just to vent.
I realize there are many threads like this and I have read some earlier, yet I want to actually post and re-iterate the fact that the matchmaking in this game is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE.
The games never seem fair and mostly, it's tilted towards the survivors since they play with friends and on voice chat.
I just got out of a game as killer where the 4 survivors were all from the same country, had each other added on Steam aka friends and were clearly on voicechat - 3 of them being red ranks (2 x rank3s and 1 rank4 with the last one being rank 12). I am a rank 15 killer with 45h of experience with the game (probably more than 10h of that was spent afking, looking up resources and youtube tutorials and from what's left you can safely subtract another 30-40% as time spent in queue - another amazing "feature" of the matchmaking system.
So anyway, I don't consider myself a moron and have been a gamer all my life (multiple rank1s in WoW, raided for a world top 50 guild, was SMFC in csgo, Divine 2 in dota, etc) so I picked up the game pretty fast and started working on finesse qol stuff like mindgaming the red stain, learning timings for when to break pallets and when to do loops, learning all the perks survivors use and identifying when they are on cooldown, etc. What I'm trying to say is that the games I've had so far weren't tremendously horrible - esp when the survivors weren't SWF parties. I've had rank 5s and rank7s in my games and I've won a few, lost others..BUT yesterday and today especially, I got a couple of games that absolutely tilted me the f out.
What am I supposed to do as a relatively new killer against a very well organized survivor team made up of sweaty rank3s and rank4s (red ranks) that have the best perks/ know the map and how to abuse it, know when to use their skills and talk to eachother on when to stall and when to push, how to move around the map, how to kite around and take hits for eachother, etc, etc, etc?
I got BULLIED, I feel dirty and USED - they tried blinding me nonstop (which I tried my best to counter), they played DS and baited me to down so they can DS, they bodyblocked me from hooking ppl, they pallet kited just outside range..once they figured out I was sort of new, they took even greter pleasure in doing all these things and got bolder and bolder. I downed a few and hooked them but I was never able to keep them hooked enough to kill.
Towards the end I had one on hook on his 2nd hook, 10% away from dying, one on the ground sort of next to him and the other two running for the gate which was opened - I thought they would gtfo so I went back to pick up the one on the floor and get at least 2 kills out of this ordeal when from OUT OF EFFING NOWHERE, I got blinded and at the very same time, another guy went and unhooked the one that was strung up.
I honestly think, given everything that's happened and the fact I played subpar perks (because I don't have the others unlocked), that I played relatively well for a new player but this is beyond atrocious matchmaking. I've spread my time played on billy because he is top tier and unlocked when you first start out, but I also played trapper to lvl15, leveled Bubba to 35 for his BBQ&Chili and played a few games with an underleveled clown (that I got absolutely destroyed in). Oh and one game as huntress with only 1 perk where I deleted a 2 man team of rank 8s by sniping them with hatchets.
Nothing I've seen thus far gives me any hope that things will improve and I am actually thinking of spending my time and money elsewhere. These matchmaking issues seem to have been around for years and no real effort was made into fixing them or even addressing them in a meaningful way.
Who thought putting new players against ppl with 2-3.000h is a good idea, regardless of if they are surv in SWF or killers? What is the new guy supposed to do? mind you, most newbies won't have my credentials and will be even less prepared and casuals won't make forums posts to complain, they will just quit because the game wants them to suffer and not have fun.
In closing, after they destroyed me and nearly lost 2 ppl in the end to a newbie - they also proceeded to mock me and call me a "NoED b***h" in the post-game. Classy guys!
Quick 2 cents on balancing - survivors are way too op when they unlock everything and learn how to play the game and the vchat element adds even more in their favor if they are SWF. Matchmaking time is horrible for killer and to wait to get into a game like this makes me not even want to play anymore. You will not be able to balance the game perfectly but things can be made to improve the gaming experience of the killer and since everyone keeps saying there aren't enough good killers left playing, I see this as a must and it should be the focus of the balancing team.
- Pallets are OP and their spawn should be diminished - balance this by better loops for the survivors or add an element of skill to looping (other than looking back) to even it out.
- Alternatively make killed lunges register better and/ or give more control to the killer when turning.
- Lessen the healing capabilities of survivors and make investing in it a decision in itself - generally, make the game more strategic and less "run around constantly cuz we can heal anything lul".
- add another layer to escaping, not just power the gens/ open the gate; maybe give an option to hurt the killer if he gets outplayed and even win the game by killing him or sending him back via a high risk/ high reward mechanics.
- DO NOT put new players in games with red ranks. EVER! That's just bad for everyone and if there are really good new players at ranks 10-20, let them rise through and get to red ranks, rather than putting them with red ranks to begin with. The backlash from the reverse is going to be WAY less than it is right now.
This is no longer an indie company and should look to invest some real money into fixing these issues and not just focus on cosmetics and monetizing each Tome/ each clothing piece/ maximizing the grind to keep ppl playing through the carrot on the stick psychology, instead of making the game fun and engaging to play and insuring retention of players through that instead.
I may not have structured my thoughts properly throughout writing this essay and at times, I might have been all over the place trying to cover different aspects but it had the unexpected effect of calming me down enough that I went from wanting to break my monitor to being able to articulate my thoughts and write this ending paragraph.
I've sunk so many hours of grind into this game and I'm still trying to get the killer perks i need.
I'm about 2k hours on console its hard to tell. I absolutely destroy on other games and actively to the math around the dbd core game mechanics (for a 12hook game its 35seconds for a find-chase-hit-down-pickup-hook... each AT base or you loose skillchecks can shave 12-40 seconds off your kill time keys at the very worse shave at least 20 seconds)
There's really no way for a casual to compete. This game is entirely built on hoping survivors play poorly. If they dont make awful mistakes theres nothing you can do. As killer you need to protect 7 objects across a map you can't reach and 4 players with health states, sacrifice states and bleedout bars equipped with 4 perks and a tool each that you cannot build to fight.
DS breaks grasp-stuns killer- and heals you from dying to injured instantly. No
killer perk does anywhere near that lvl of mistake reversal. The most killers get on some perks is breathing louder.
You'll notice on hillbilly that his endure shave a second off pallets.
That tinker alerts you to a gen that you physically can't stop from poping and if you want to use the stealth aspect you can't use your power as that noise alone ruins it.
Lightbore has the vision drawback...WHY and it gives you 60% and 45% lets be real... 45% of 3 seconds is 1.3 seconds at most against a flashlight squad this will activate and be used what 5 times in a match ? This perk in the best case will buy 6 seconds. Yuck.
They bully killers because they are that powerful.
-
I did 5 killers yesterday and it was a CHORE playing killer just letting them escape.
The wait out the last timer to the very second and flashclick and spam vault
Like I really can't stand survivors sometimes
-
Entitled to 3 lives are you ?
Dead by daylight would be live every night if you try to force 12 hook games.
Actually I think it would turn to a slug game in the short term but I'm sure everyone enjoys laying down on the ground more then being hooked i guess.
-
I was just talking about this earlier in another thread lol
-
Yeah I've been letting everyone go all day to make sure they get it.
Unless you try to que up with non license or a crown equiped. Then its game on.
-
The core gameplay
And the premise
create the community
1 vs 4.
Means a team can all collectively respond to a single person and have there onions validated by shared experiences of struggling against the one.
Ei- they talk ######### or get mad because they died and 3 others are like yeah you shouldnt have lost killer was just scum.
In horror you dont root for the killer you want the monster to loose because hes evil, and thereby you are "good" so you dislike him by default.
The core gameplay limits the view of the killer making him focused and frustrated but expecting him to manage 7 different gens and 4 players while fighting against 12 perks and 4 tools
while making his only goal killing players... the effect of that is removing or stopping people from playing. Making them bored between the times of play and not play. So there's a natural hate of being knocked out of a game you want to play in.
Thats my theory.
-
Yeah survivors should bleed out whenever they do gens
-
playing killer is a service.
The bullying and toxic and imbalance from the power role team is mostly unbearable.
I've been letting everyone escape today and I've seen many posts about the same.
I see your post is complaints that killers are playing hard to win and you find yourself loosing. I'm not sure how you could loose a survivor game alot because that role is ridiculously easy... you dont even need to play just hide in a locker near the gate and wait for him to close hatch, open before he arrives you get out 70% of the time just doing that.
-
Yeah I spin around to let people know I'm doing something or want help.
I'm letting everyone go today
-
I'd say no to the speed boost removal
I don't think hitting them right after another would be fun for anyone.
Instead of looping id rather the game give more things to get away or hide.
Loop Chases always feel like time-wasting or scooby doo and im not happy at either.
But if they break my line of sight and I loose them I'm never mad I lost them because that's my own fault and I'd rather take the time to hunt and kill the. Take the time running around a car

The issue is there's no perks that do that to survivors, who plow through generators. If I get my first down, and 3 gens get instant completed, there is NOTHING I can do. I can kick gens, I can chase survivors, but I can't just UNDO a gen, like a survivor can TAKE BACK a down. I love DS. As a killer, I love getting DS'd and having to reinstate a chase, because it feels more rewarding, and its immersive. It makes you feel like you're chasing someone who is fighting for their life, and you're winning if they had to use their trump card. But whats not fun? Is getting DS'd 5 or 6 times in one match, and not getting passed the first hook with anyone on a coordinated team running OoO, all DS, and Iron will. I love the idea of the perk, and even what it does. But it shouldn't be free "hah I can get in your face, waste a 30 second chase, and still make it out without a hook." Killers are supposed to be the power role. Its a 1v4, not a 1v1. Stop playing like its you vs the killer, its your team versus the killer. And the more perks come out that allow survivors to continuously escape the killer and have almost no consequences? Not to mention, "playing around" DS isn't an excuse. I down you 25 seconds after you get unhooked. "Playing around it" is waiting 35 whole seconds. That punishes me. For your mistake as a survivor. I play around it? I risk you having unbreakable, or a coordinated team getting the save, and i waste my own time, meanwhile a blendette or a meg with a toolbox is rushing gens while I'm focusing another chase, or sitting on the body to "play around" ds. Thats why I love Executioner. I dont have to sit and wait for your 2nd trump card this match. I can say F your perk, go to the gulag. Its definitely an issue. I love the perk. But not in its current state. In a 1v4 game, 1 of the 4 shouldn't be able to go toe to toe with me and get away scratch free. That goes against the entire threat of the killer.

Anyways going down the list of Killers and their ability to mitigate or ignore this issue:
- Trapper - Traps intercepting a Survivor
- Wraith - Stealth and cloaked MS boost
- Hillbilly - Chainsaw dash = gap closer
- Nurse - Blinks = gap closer
- Myers - Stealth
- Hag - Teleportation via traps
- Doctor - None (his power doesn't help with gap closing, only anti-loop)
- Huntress - Ranged attack
- Leatherface - None
- Freddy - Gen Teleportaton and traps intercepting the Survivor
- Pig - Stealth
- Clown - Bottles slow Survivors
- Spirit - Phase walk = gap closer
- Legon - Frenzy = gap closer
- Plague - Ranged attack with corrupt
- Ghostface - Stealth
- Demogorgon - Teleportation and super lunge
- Oni - Dash = gap closer
- Deathslinger - Ranged attack
- Pyramid Head - None (ranged attack doesn't actually help here due to ease of dodging it).
So all but 3 Killers have the means of mitigating this issue. Of those 3, 1 of them has a ton of stall and tracking while the other has his own time saving functions and great anti-loop.
Leatherface sucks.
Lol if everyone gets together on this thread I think we're going to end up building Ai for dbd

I came for Silent Hill solely. I paid money. The game is broken? I haven’t really noticed other than a few glitches in matches but I’m also new so I’m sure I’ll notice more. I’m not gonna leave though because this is the closest thing to a new SH game I’m gonna get for a while, if ever again.

Still getting instant matches on killer ps4 all times of day.
Vs rainbow ranks..
My survior que is 15- 20 minutes never less then 10 on a good night
-
Obj time 420seconds / unpressured survivors = escape
(Hookstates is 120 seconds > 3 hooks) ×4 OR (bleedout 240 seconds ) ×4 = death
Tbh
if you want to mitigate pressure equations the only way Is to reduce survivors by tunnling.
And if Survior mistakes and map loop don't give you enough room to end chases before 35 at base you shouldnt play a 12 hook juggle game you should camp because a secured hookstate pass or a save trade is always going to be 60seconds or less while a chase is a 35 second bet you can't always make.

Yes... unless they start running when they hear your 32m terror radius
With a 4.0m Survior
And a 4.6m killer
Your only gaining .6m per second right ?
So 53 seconds to catch survivors that run immediately for 1 hit.
So its .6m X distance started = time to gain.
Don't forget about bloodlust at 15seconds tho adding .2 each at 15,30,45
Dbd math is pretty fun. At base
Survivors obj time is 420seconds from spawn to gate open or 105 each.
For a 12 hook game you need to find-chase-hit-down-hook in 35 seconds 12 perfect times to win.
So its definitely built for killers to loose matches almost every time. If they changed the emblems to be more rewarding and endgame screen to be less disappointed
And bp to be = to each player i killed or more id be more convinced its 2k 2e

facecamping doesn't even exist anymore since a patch to the hook years ago.
It used to mean standing in front of the hook so they litterally couldn't get a save because you as the killer body blocked.
Now facecamp is anywhere inside a terror radio of the hook.
And survivors can't give a valid reason not to punish overly altruistic hook dives

Any of you are welcome to propose why tunnling isn't an effective strategy
It's almost required at high ranks to win
