I am going to say something and I want you to take it to heart.
You are not going to win every match. You are not entitled to any kills at all. Survivors being able to beat you, especially if they are playing well as you've described is intended.
Read that to yourself 10 times.
You are not going to win every match. You are not entitled to any escapes at all. Killers being able to beat you, especially if they are playing as well as you've described is intended.
See how dumb that sounds when you tell it especially to a solo survivor? Did the solo survivor die because the killer played better and they were simply bad, or could it also be due to being matched with terrible teammates? It's not just about winning or losing, it's about having a fair chance to win the game.
If this game's losses could be boiled down to skill issue, the game would be in a much more enjoyable, fair state. But the truth is, there are ALWAYS major factors that no matter how much skill you have you can never bypass. Can you tell me in full honesty that a sadako has the same chance as winning as a blight in high mmr, and if not, is it fair and the sadako player should accept it? Same goes for the solo survivor who does not play with a group. You get the point?

swf is an escape
-
Most of them need either slight to heavy buffs, but the main problems are the trash map designs and SWF. Being able to coordinate your perks and pick your teammates is extremely powerful compared to solo queue (which are often too easy to crush). Then there are maps like rpd, eyrie of crows, garden of joy, swamp, et cetera, that have overpowered god loops most killers can't compete with.
-
He's a killer with a pretty mediocre chase power that is also semi-versatile (lets you change positions of survivors), it is a C+ tier killer. Why should you play deathslinger over huntress? No reason. Should have added more buffs to compensate for the ADS speed nerf, that's like the only reason the killer was worth playing over huntress in the first place. Now even trickster is better because he can camp and tunnel very well.
-
end of RE style lobby
-
the option summarizes my thoughts, i dont care what any large gaming community thinks.
-
killers with versatile powers tend to be the better killers, e.g. huntress, blight, nurse, hag. wesker is not an exception; he can use the power for both mobility and chase, and it's pretty good in both aspects. not to mention the infection giving passive slowdown and killer instinct as well. he's pretty loaded indeed
-
the hitman trilogy has lots of replayability for a singleplayer game, yakuza like a dragon is top quality as well.
but honestly? yakuza lost judgment is the best i recommend. this game changed my life
-
i like to think of his power as nurse's power but you don't teleport. try to learn the box spawn rng; if you pick it up yourself, then you instantly start a chain hunt. do not always teleport to the box solver, sometimes it is a bait by a swf member.
survivors can see where you're opening the portal to chain (your power), so keep that in mind in order to not be juked. also, it can go through walls, if you charge it up long enough.
some loops or god pallets (gideon's) your power just can't do enough. it takes experience knowing which. just take the normal chase and break the pallet. speaking of which, you can chain survivors on the other side of a pallet before breaking it to slow them down. in the most common loops, it is in general worth it to use your power. if you do, the survivors are almost guaranteed to be hit, because then they are unable to run.
do consider using your power on survivors who insist on holding W; it can stop them from going to an insanely safe loop, or even simply running you around the 4 corners of the map. the cooldown is so short (even without addons) that there's no real downside to this, unless you use your power even though you would've gotten a hit seconds later without it anyways.
one final thing off the top of my head, you can use the power to scout things ahead without having to launch it, saving you some time, especially in indoor maps with lots of walls. with that said, one of the things that you can do is check a totem, and launch a chain to cancel a survivor's cleansing action. you can also try to chain a survivor who you know has sprint burst to prevent it.
with all that said, it's important to remember that pinhead still has 0 mobility, and chain hunt isn't always going to activate. prioritize slowdown perks in your build. (you can't go wrong with corrupt intervention)

the main issue in that clip is that someone got downed to leatherface early on in lery's of all maps

man these responses are funny, it's like bhvr is incapable of adding options to mute players or disable voice chat in entirety.
@Bot_Salvo88 said:
Not gonna happen. People are way too aggressive in end game chat sometimes. Seeing that turning into voice chat isn't very ideal.
"Just disable it" then what's the point of adding it in the first place. There are many perks to show survivors aura to you and viceversa. Use them if you really have a problem with communication.
You can't "fix" bad players. If a player isn't good, a voice chat won't help.
the point of adding it is so that the advantage given to swf players is also given to solo players who want equality. why should solo players have to use up perk slots just to have a small taste of what swf has already included with their vc.
-
agreed. dead by daylight is not even a real horror game anyways. yes it's marketed as a horror game, and has characteristics of horror games, but any teenager or above who plays 0 to 2 matches shouldn't be genuinely scared by 99% of the content. +1
-
nobody plays resistance on steam except a few awkward people and hackers who'll either make the game even more unplayable or ddos you
-
if anything, the nerf actually exposes the trash survivors who relied on it to extend chases.
-
repressed alliance is a game saver in 3 gen situations
and for killer i'd say monstrous shrine, idk if this perk is actually underrated anymore though

So you think this will solve everything?
Her slowdown would be still useless, her add-ons would still be for most part bad and her stealth would be still ruined by her lullaby.
any killer without a chase power will always be trash, but this would make it easier to apply condemned and keep up with survivors at mid-stage of the game
-
reduce tv cooldown to 30 seconds and she's a B+ tier killer
-
i still dont know what wesker is actually supposed to do. whenever he raises his hand, all i have to change in my looping is litearlly NOTHING, he will in only 1/10 scenarios even have an angle to launch. the power charge-up is too slow imo. if they're going to put him at what seems to be the same speed as survivor during power charge, then they need to make him have faster charge-up. right now, i take hits more by basic attacks instead of his power, which is extremely concerning. to me, his power is like a bootleg demogorgon lunge.
-
how do people fall for these mockery posts
-
in my experioence trying to get my friends into the game, they constantly get tunneled becase they dopnt have off the record nor decisive strike. and expecting these people to get those perks that early into the game without paying money is kind of a joke statement. so yes i wil say the game has some pay 2 win, but thankfulyl later on every perk can be unlocked at some point/.
-
this perk is literally camaraderie but for solo survivors, it is very very strong
-
im sure to buy rebecca chambers at least, not sure about the other 2 characters cuz they seem annoying with mediocre perks.
-
it's not possible to change a player's brain to choose to save teammates instead of being selfish and escaping. that is not the job of the matchmaking system.

What counterplay? You vault, he insta readies his tentacle and hits you. You drop the pallet, he insta readies his tentacle and hits you, or at worst, breaks the pallet. You try to dodge, or fake, or use corners and walls, and he does the drag exploit so it hits you anyway - or just cancels in 0.5 seconds and hits you. A nemesis who has a brain has about as much counterplay as pyramid head and trickster. It's lucky that most of them don't, then.
pyramid head does have fairly reliable counterplay though

What's wrong with her, she is already so cute
compare her original look with dead by daylight impression
-
give cheryl a fix too
-
people can play the game however they want, you should blame the game for allowing it
-
i think you should worry more about the integrity of the vendor instead of being banned for activating (i assume) a dlc key. i dont think there's a nightmare edition for the PC so it's i think actually impossible to get it in an official way on the steam or epic games platform.
-
i think sprint burst is the best option now but dead hard is certainly still a very v ery good perk.
-
maybe you dont use the perks very well or you don't think theyre strong because they're not extremely useful every single match like dead hard was
repressed alliance, second wind, deliverance, inner healing, off the record buff, overcome, smash hit, soul guard, camaradeire, fast track. yeah these perks are not very recent but they are not very old either (maybe except for deliverance) and still very relevant. these are all non-meta perks that can counter the meta, yet nobody uses them because it's too 'niche', even though slugging, tunneling, camping, and 3 genning are extremely frequent as they are all part of the optimal way to play killer. they can still quite literally change the outcome of a match when used correctly
-
Death stranding. thjis game can take up your time a lot and its the most satifsying game ive ever played. youre constantly planning your future and when it executes well, that's such a great feeling. best thing is everything depends on you, no team holding you back or game forcing you extremely unfair BS or anything like that.
-
bout same here bnut i dont really care because the truth is you can still loop just as normal and winning for me is looping the killer enough to make them mad

"It's not like an increase in FPS can give an advantage over console players"
It literally does.
I think what theyre trying to say is consoles apart freom the new playstation and xbox run at less than 60 fps and so it doesnt matter whether or not pc gains more than 60 fps because the difference is massive regardless and it's not a FPS game so every fps is not as impactful

outbreak ps2?? the servers are still up?
yes, indeeed i am talking about outbreak on the ps2. the oficial servers are defunc, but you can still play online via a fan made server. it's pretty damn good, and you can play it with an emulator or an actual ps2.
-
if it was up to me i would completely revert hillbilly including the animations and the addons because spark plug was needed in most common loops, if you were playing in the top MMR against perfect survivors. i would also mostly revert freddy but with a few buffs such as all survivors begin asleep and the pull time is 2-3 seconds shorter (the invisibility flickering remains and adjusted accordingly). for deathslinger i would just add much more range and projectile speed.

biohazard outbreak

thanks for the answers guys but it was a bit late and it seems i did fall for a dbd mobile port. at lesat it had crossplay so i could pla with my friend on ohter platform

Holy crap man thanks! That game looks amazing, surprisingly hadn’t seen this one before.
Ill look into RE resistance as well thanks for the tip.
i wont recommend resident evil resistance if you have a PC because the playerbase is extremely small and it has worlwide matching. so generally the lag is very bad and there's also hackers litreally freezing peoples games and ddosing the internets. if you are on console it may be worth buying if you also will play resident evil 3 remake but otherwise i dont think its worth the price
-
most killers are really bad to play on console gameplay
-
to be honest it's just cenobite, onryo, oni, pyramid head, and demogorgon i like playing against, which is 5/28.

I was on the forum when before they nerfed Billy. I saw no one complaining about him.
The devs nerfed him on their own
idk about official forums but on steam community if i remember, people were calling him op because of his unlimited mobility and instadown potential. although steam forums is bait forums
-
i think it's a sprite, so if you look in the game files you might be able to find it
-
the same reason why some players called him OP and the same reason his animations had to change on purpose to screw with the muscle memory

It's probably better to hide near a safe place, if we go with stealth. If the Killer finds them behind a rock on the edge of the map, they have less time to reach a safe place, like a jungle gym, and they will be downed faster.
that's a good point yeah, i was thinking of a terrible situation like repairing a gen in the corner of sheltered woods
-
you should try playing spirit yourself, that's the best piece of advice. when you understand how the spirit player feels during phasing, you'll have a better idea what to do to manipulate her. also, if you really just can't do well in chases in general, try stealth. you don't need any perks to use stealth. it's very powerful and can compensate for the short chase times. let's say spirit is coming your way and you hide behind a rock in the corner. the spirit will either search for you which can take a pretty good amount of time (for dead by daylight matches) or leave you. either outcome is better than going straight into a chase and dying fast.
-
yep, it's still an on-demand extra health state without hard conditions. definitely going to stay meta
