Current MoM punishes you for hitting survivors and they get it for free. The new one actually requires you to do something to activate it. So stop crying about your crutch perks and learn to play without them.
-
Get within the bbq range
Get in a locker
Hide behind a gen
Use distortion
Those are the 4 ways to counter bbq from what I can remember.
Or 5, don't be so immersed and hide all game, even if they find you, so what?

Underrated: Clown
A good Clown will catch you in seconds. You can't loop him, you can't make distance, exhaustion perks don't do much. I agree he lacks on map pressure, but his power is pretty strong in 1v1s.
Overrated: Billy
Sure he's good, but he gets looped hard, just like any other m1 killer.
He has nothing helping him in loops. And you can't say "you can just chainsaw", no you can't. Chainsaws don't work in loops.
He has great mobility and huge map pressure with an insta down ability which makes it up.
Barbeque & chili is devastating on him. Hook one, find another and repeat.
And I don't understand people putting him on second spot after the Nurse.
Spirit is much better imo.
-
Dead Hard - Favorite exhaustion perk, saves me so many times, extends loops, corrects looping mistakes, helps me reach pallets/windows
Bond - My alternative to self care, helps me find teammates to heal me and to not lead the killer towards my team if they're working on a gen, plus there are tons of situations where knowing where my team was saved me, and I think knowing your team's position is a huge plus.
Iron Will - I feel naked and vulnerable without this
Adrenaline - For those end game saves, it's even better since the EGC was implemented as once the killer closes the hatch the perk activates.
I use Dead Hard and Bond all the time and often switch last two to whatever I feel like using.
-
Dwight.
Feng is a close second, due to her noises OwO
-
Play as or against?
Whatever it is, it's Legion.
Most boring killer they've came up with.
I don't understand how they made the Spirit so fun and interesting with a strong power that actually has counterplay and then they go and make this thing and call it Legion and they nerf it the second it came out. Like how....
-
Huntress.
I have a long history of playing fps games and Huntress is the closet to a shooter type character. Sure I'm not the best but it feels great hitting those hatchets.
Next is probably the Hag. Seems like a lot of people have no idea what to do against a Hag, and if you manage to get one in the basement, it's gg for them.
Then the Spirit due to so many mindgame possibilities with her.
I used to play Billy, but he's so damn boring now.
Super easy to chainsaw people and huge mobility. Not my thing.
-
Dwight!
He's just a huge nerd and a huge meme at this point.
He got rejected from literally everything and is now helping out everyone survive the entity. How can you not like him? He's so cute!

The time for opening gates has always been the same... so... you want 20 seconds to be reduced to what 15 or something?
I'm confused.
Did you even read my post?
-
Would be like old decisive. No.
If the killer already downs you, why should you get a free escape?
-
We saw enough of these, just stop.
Say ggez and move on.

wow theyre doing their job wooohoooo

@LastShoe said:
@johnmwarner Deadhard is just a small dash forward... useless to be honest, other exhaustion perks are much better.
Small dash forward that makes the difference between dying and escaping. If you're one of those that bait killer's attack then you're using it wrong.
It's best used to reach a pallet/window and extend a loop or even correct looping mistakes.
Sorry for late reply, but the person above revived this thread.

Dwight, duh.

The Hoodini build (2 variants)
Lithe, Dance With Me, Quick & Quiet, [Perk of your choosing i use Iron Will or Urban Evasion]
Head On, DWM, Q&Q, [read above]
I've tried that, is good fun :D
-
When the killer is hiding his red stain, I usually just run away to a next loop if possible, but in most cases, it's a pure guess, you never know which way he is going unless you can see him.
I especially hate T walls, where you're about to vault a window and have to guess if the killer is going to follow you or double back.
What I mean:
-
Perks and items/addons mostly.
I mean insta heal is way too powerful.
Don't get me wrong, killers have op ######### too.
-
Funny how many downvotes you got, but it's true.
Not to mention they already have 3 lives. (3 hooks)
-
I had a teamate that did nothing except crouch next to me while I was doing a gen. He was like a look out, in case the killer comes.

I usually get 25,000 bp. I wish survivors got more though :/
You don't usually get 25,000. :)

Why on earth would you be willing to pay real money for something that can be earned through playing the game?
Plus it only caps at a million.
Not to mention this would be scuffed as hell.
You'll be able to start a new account, buy bp and lvl up all of your survivors & killers obtaining all of their perks, items and add-ons without any gameplay experience.
Because one, this game is too grindy. A new player coming to this game has a lot of grind to do before they get the perks they want.
If they don't buy Leatherface for bbq, it's gonna take a long long time.
Two, not everyone plays this game all day every day.
I used to get 500k-600k bp a day when I played it regularly, but right now I can't due to real life. Sometimes I wish I had some bloodpoints left but then I realise I haven't played for days.
I would love to see this introduced, I would buy it if the prices are reasonable.
One bad thing about this is that it somewhat kills the joy in this game. It's hard to explain, I'm proud to have my Dwight to p3, it shows I spent a lot of points and a lot of time playing this game to get there. With this any new player can get any character to p3. This is the only downside I have with this.
A good alternative to this, is to make the grind easier.
Better dailies, harder but with a better reward.
Or add a weekly ritual that rewards even more.

You literally have no reason to complain about the change.
Unless of course you're one of those that block the stairs.

Perfect solution to being mori-spammed. Do literally anything else, go to the bathroom, or make some tea. You're dead anyway, why sacrifice all your BP?
I want to move onto the next game?
-
Self care
Sprint burst - best exhaustion perk for new players, can't go wrong with it
Windows of opportunity
4th?? not sure, bond maybe? I use bond all the time, it's really underrated but I don't think new players care about their team that much. Maybe decisive, cause low ranks farm a lot.

Is that all your argument? Do you even see my icon? I'm a killer main LUL Typed that before. Don't waste time posting such bullshit opinion... Pathetic.
kIlLeR MaIn BtW
then why complaining? you're just sad honestly.
-
If your plan is to actually play the game and kill survivors, I'd say the doctor. He's pretty easy to get deviousness high with and is probably the only killer that can actually benefit from the perk Distressing.
But, if your plan is to be friendly and farm with survivors then any killer is good, it all depends on perks and offerings you use.
Just use the killer's ability and you'll get deviousness points easily, other categories will be maxed out if you do typical farming stuff so no worries, except the sacrifice category, depends if you let them live or no.
Copied what I posted a while ago in a different thread on a similar topic.
-
Only a true survivor main that never touched a killer would write this.
The perk was too strong, had no real downside, required nothing from the survivor to activate and ended up punishing killers for, well doing their objective. How is this not op ?
Bad killers like Wraith get even worse while better ones like Billy or Huntress aren't even affected due to their powers. At least make it equal against all killers.
Now it actually requires you to do something to activate it.
Still strong, but at least M1 killers don't suffer as much.
But as always, survivors will find anything to complain about.
Take a break, try killer for a while, then come back and tell us again how MoM isn't "that op". Go ahead, and let us know!
-
It's actually better than if they were to split up and all 4 work on a different gen.
You start a chase with one, 3 gens done.
-
uhh that was sarcasm.
-
survivors are obviously weak they need this
-
When the killer who is obviously really bad gets bullied by other survivors. I never do that. One thing you never do is bully new players who literally have no idea what they're doing.
Sure, go ahead and bully a rank 1 killer if you're good. I don't mind that. But acting all cocky in front of a new player is just kinda sad and pathetic. This is when I feel bad the most for them.
-
I agree.
On the other hand, there are a lot of weebs that put random Japanese characters as their name.
-
I'd love to see some kind of bonus bloodpoints when using it and grunts of pain reduced by 100%
-
Give us shirtless Dwight.
I'd pay good money for that.
-
You'll get ######### on in the end chat no matter how you play.
-
I swear to god this game is such a mess.
From the op crutch things to infinite loading screens to lost legacies... makes me wonder what actually keeps me playing it.
-
Midtown Madness (1999)
I loved this game as a kid!

@Mushwin said:
I don't see how tea bagging and bringing a party streamer is classed as bullying? o.O
I said especially if they're higher rank than the killer.
Rank 1 survivor doing jukes, 360s on a rank 12 killer and then teabagging and spamming flashlight in his face isn't bullying?
-
"During the dash, you avoid damage"
It's intended.
-
@Mushwin said:
why would you DC because of that?
Toxic games are never fun.
Especially if they're a higher rank than the killer.
It's simply bullying.

nEa iS ThE KiLlERrRR
that meme is so dead its just cringe.
-
No more edgy skins please!!
-
No.
I used to care when I actually wanted to rank up.
After reaching rank 1 multiple seasons on both killer and survivor, I honestly really don't care anymore, just try and have fun.

If you can manage to find the sweet spot on the tree during a chase and hope you don’t screw it up. It’s very situational that you can actually pull it off
He means the tree in the middle of shelter woods, you can trigger BL on it.
-
Only time I'll tunnel is if the unhooked survivor is being toxic. I just try to get rid of them from the game first.
But usually, no I don't tunnel. I know it sucks to be tunneled and even if someone farms a teammate, I'll always go for the unhooker in case of borrowed time and you end up punishing them for doing an unsafe unhook.
-
I've never seen so many bullshit replies in one thread. You people supporting MoM obviously never play killer.
And as expected, completely ignored by the devs. Cheers!

Dead Hard is only good for those who know how to use it, Balanced Landing is doodoo and predictable, Lithe is honestly the best top tier exhaustion perk, Sprint Burst makes it so you are in crutches the whole game until you need to use it, you'd be better off Urban Evasion'ing around the map until you need to Sprint Burst. Lithe in my opinion is a game changer, saves you. Sucks as a Killer but oh well.
Well I share the same opinion and really don't understand those who put BL on first spot.

It's impossible to balance the game. As you said before everyone has trapper for free. As killer I never kill anyone, I enjoy myself a lot and give survs a very good game. I have thousands of hours playing this game, so when I play against lvl 15-20 survs I can see then poor balance of this game for new survs. If you're a low level surv, Barbacue is like impossible to beat. Same as NOED or even Hex Ruin. If you buff killers new survs will never play this game, because will be 4k always.
Not a huge buff, just make him somewhat playable.
What I suggested is not game breaking nor op. It's how the Trapper should've been when first released.
