Dead Hard is still a meta perk, ######### are you talking about? You still see it almost every game.
If you nerfed every strong killer into B or C tier, then you'll kill the game. End of story. Nobody likes getting tbagged in the gates. And B tier killers can't reasonably go against good survivors running meta perks.
They just want the DH Dash back

How much time should elapse before killers are allowed to chase you?
by the way, the two examples you showed are like the smallest maps in the game, and lethal pursuer exists.I imagine never.
Isnt Midwich smaller than the other map?

I know some killers tunnel early at 5 gens in the beginning of the match and I feel like killers like that should get punished for doing so they should lose blood points reduction or something
I understand If it’s Nurse Blight Billy Oni Kaneki that tunnels I feel like killers with speed should get more of a punishment maybe because they can instant down u in seconds without punishment only because they can zoom fast across the map in seconds. And I think those type of killers should have punishment in my opinion.
Also you have killers like Wraith Ghostface Pig or Onryo who are a bit weak in chases which is why they are called M1 killers for a reason who tunnel with a purpose because they are weak in chases. They tunnel because they don’t have real chase potential and those killers get constant gen rushed. Which why I think for M1 killers I don’t blame them tbh.
Also let’s not forget tunneling is a strategy it’s not a specific rule that tells killers not to tunnel. You have to look at it in a killers perspective. Let’s say there’s 2 gens left or 1 gen left and you haven’t killed anyone yet. You would think that’s the reason why killers tunnel to just get a kill which I don’t blame them for tunneling if they are constantly gettting gen rushed without no real pressure.
Let’s also not forget yes killers do have gen slowdowns like pain res dms pop jolt eruption deadlock etc. but sometimes that’s not enough because you are going against 4 survivors and your going against 16 perks. Survivors do have gen rushing perks that helps them. They have toolboxes with parts. They have deja vu resilience prove thyself hyperfocus stake out and etc.Last but not least let’s also not forget survivors do have easy second chance tunneling perks like DS and Off the record babysitter, and BT. And even dead hard.
Sorry man but you're wasting your breath on the survivor community. They just hate any/all things Pro-Killer, I mean just looik at all the survivor's anti-killer comments.

you can keep saying its not but its still gonna be true whether you admit it or not. as to why they are reworking it, its because of all the survivor whining and them threatening to leave the game if they dont get their way is why their reworking it

Yea this isn't an excuse anymore. Survs can't even stealth around gens thanks to the latest update, so that was deemed not a valid strat. Now tunneling/camping is going to get mechanic changes because in their current forms, not valid strats.
its not an excuse at all, just fact. devs have even said from time to time its a valid strat

So i just started playing survivor only a few days ago, since i've got in to an accident which left my left hand/arm in a pretty bad shape, and this is the only role that i can play one handed.
So far its been pretty terrible, 6 out of my 10 games has been against nurses, my teammates are actually braindead and someone usually just gives up at the start of the match.
some examples:
tm runs across the whole map just to get healed even tho i have "we'll make it"
tm doesnt come for the save ,and lets me get to 2th hook stage while they arent even doing gens
non stop crouching
or when they do come to save me all 3 of them comes and are crouching around the hook that im on and again we are not making progress with the gens AND THEY DONT EVEN SAVE ME!
im on a gen and i have around 70-80% progress another tm is on hook, the other 2 arent doing anything according to the hud, so i assume they are goin for a save, i finish the gen and he hits 2th stage 💀
what about camping/tunneling/slugging? has that been happening to you a lot in your games, survivors keep saying it happens a lot but what about your games?

Even pop sucks. Pop got nerfed down to 20%. It was already 20% once before and it sucked, which was the whole reason it got buffed up to 30% in the first place.
And then surge is pretty much only useful on M1 killers and smaller scale maps.
aw thats depressing. i remember Pop was the only gen regress i needed back when it took off a set amount of 25secs instead of the 20% of current progress
-
Go do gens. it punishes the killer thats camping

@LockerLurk said:
Killers cannot facecamp around hooks without setting off the anticamp. Killers soon will have trouble hardcore tunnelling or slugging as a form of griefing. Soon Killers can't bodyblock you in a corner anymore. You have basekit Borrowed Time. Several unhooking perks were recently buffed to give you more of a chance to not be tunnelled off the hook. You have an abandon feature if the Killer decides to bleed you out on the ground or force you to DC like this. There are also multiple antitunnel perks and three others to help draw heat away from you in a pinch.
How much more do you really need before the Killer isn't allowed to do anything to you at all?
The issues you're describing are fixed, or being fixed. Please can we stop complaining about issues that are, or will soon be, obsolete?
they want to reduce killers to babysitters

The devs have been too busy focusing on the survivor experience that the killer experience is going to make new players quit.
The bloodweb is grindy.
After a few matches killers will face toxic playstyles from players emulating their favorite content creators who smurf for content. There are no good beginner friendly regression or gen perks.
The DBD community is toxic.
Good perks are locked behind paywalls.
Many long-term players are video game addicts who refuse to quit because of money spent, the game isnt fun and the game isnt what non DBD players see on tiktoks and stuff.Everybody thought the resident evil chapters would bring a huge wave of players, that didn't happen.
You might be right. Im hoping the devs surprise us and start showing killers more love. Yea all killer gen regression perks are pretty much gutted only provide little value. So new killer players hoping for a good new experience will get stomped before they even know whats going on.

I don't have any qualms with old Tinkerer so if it got me to have fun with Technician again, I'd be happy!
I mean I started this game as a killer main during The Twins Chapter so idk if Old Tech was still live during that but yea i wouldnt object to old tech. it would frustrate me on some games sure but wouldnt be the worse perk to go up against as killer

if they do that then they can also revert Tinkerer, i think thats a fair exchange

Mr. X (from resident evil if we get a chapter 3)
Darth Vader (Star Wars)
Arthas The Lich King, Stitches, Kel Thuzad, Gul Dan, Nathanos Blightcaller (Warcraft universe)
Diablo, Leoric The Skeleton king, The Butcher, Mathiel, Lilith, Andariel (Diablo Universe)
Carnage (Marvel)

I think the main thing is that some players that keep tunnelling do not care about improving. Some of them are actively looking for cheap wins, and don’t care that it’s cheap.
The whole ‘you’re not gonna improve’ is simply lost on them.
Its not lost on us at all. Its just everytime we do "improve" you guys demonize it because it helps us eliminate survivors from the match in terms of powers/addons/perks but you guys find it "unfun". Killer mains shouldnt only have to rely on their ability to find survivors and using mindgames in loops. Survivors dont improve either, instead of using perks to deal with tunneling they instead complain to the devs to nerf killers for just doing their objective.

Legion takes zero skill to get injures for free in frenzy, that is an objective fact. As survivor, you just get hit and it doesn't matter that I am nearing 7k hours in DBD… I just get 'outplayed' with zero skill involved from the killer.
Now in a normal match, Legion gets free injures but they still have to chase you down. Not so in 2v8, they instead turn the other killer into an insta-down killer. Huntress has perma Iri Head and so on. Not only that but mending simulator is unbelievably tedious and facing it back to back is infuriating. I should not even have to point out the problem with zero skill free injures when Oni is also involved.
It has nothing to do with my "bad plays" - there is no outplaying frenzy, it takes zero skill. I guarantee I am better than 99% of players out there just from pure experience. I don't care about other killers, LEGION ruins 2v8 as I already made very clear.
Legion doesnt take the highest skill to use his power even in 2v8 but it takes more than "zero skill" that is the real objective fact.
Legion in 2v8 actually turns it into a 1v8 since all the legion is doing is doing frenzy on everyone and not getting downs. But even if he does focus getting downs it should give survivors downtime to mend and heal unless nerf'd healing in 2v8. Doesnt matter if you find mending back to back infuriating, you are facing the legion, you have to mend. Shouldnt be that difficult to get 2 or more other survivors to heal you unless all of you survivors in 2v8 dont think about healing teammates.
Actually it does, you make a bad play you suffer for it. You see people getting deep wound you run to the other side of the map, even tho Legion's frenzy duration has been increased, the maps are bigger than the 1v4 versions. Again takes more than zero skill. You say you dont care about the other killers, we'll see if they do remove legion from 2v8 (hopefully they dont, maybe some light nerfs next time), and hopefully you wont make the same posts about Oni/Slinger/Blight

I think you will find the vast majority of the player base, survivors, despise having Legion in this mode.
The only reason killers like it is because he is completely broken in 2v8 and is an 'easy mode' killer that takes zero skill to get survivors injured.
just remember if you dont have killers, you dont got a match and gens fly pretty quick in this mode with no type of gen stall save for kicking. So whether survivors despise it or not, some killers like legion are design the way they are in 2v8 and are needed not that legion is needed in every match.
the funny thing is: is that survivors will call anything the killer does that inconveniences them "broken". As for the "zero skill" statement, unless you just have to push 1 button and do nothing to injure them, its just childish to say legion takes no skill.
So let me ask you this: If they do remove legion from this mode are you going to be quiet about removing any other killers, are you going to try and adapt anytime killers give you problems, are you going to take accountability for your bad plays or just learn to take the L and realize its not the end of the world if you lost?

Legion completely ruins this mode, adding an already unfun killer that gets completely free injures just makes the whole thing infuriating. Combining free injures with Oni is something I just don't understand the logic of, what was BHVR thinking?
It is so ridiculously easy to chain multiple hits to get a free insta down that survivors cannot avoid (no, you cant avoid Frenzy every time person who is about to claim that).

i can tell you that Legion is actually not even a good combo with Oni because you are supposed to hard carry as Oni and basically play 1v8 due to Legion not being able to do anything other than injuring survs. Wraith can at least force rotations and melt pallets, Legion can't do any of that.
I only had in mind that legion would be feeding Oni's power so he could enrage non-stop. But i guess if legion is only running around from survivor to survivor w/o downing or hooking survivors, I see why it'd be 1 Oni vs 8 survivors. You'd think with as much as survivors are complaining about Oni/Legion, it'd be a lethal combo but I guess not.
which is ok, im not good with legion anyway. been queing as Nemmy but i'd luv to get paired with an Oni

Not specifically tunnelling doesn't translate to never using any strategies. It usually translates to playing to the fundamental skill expression of killer and outplaying your opponents instead of leaning on something unbalanced.
well its not leaning on something unbalanced. Its capitalizing on someone's weaknesses, in this case tunneling someone who goes down fast, who doesnt loop well. tunneling is a strategy so it translates as such
-
@NarkoTri1er said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3928920#Comment_3928920
1. Anti-tunneling perks (OTR, DS, Babysitter etc.)
2. Greeding hooks if you know hooked person is bad in chases (hooked person >>> dead person)
3. Chase knowledge (this one easily wastes so much time for killer)
With all 3 of these, tunneling is simply impossible unless you make a grave mistake as survivor. All in all, to effectively counter a tunneling killer you need to do the same thing you do against camping killers, waste their time as much as possible.
The main problem of average soloQ survivor is the "i see hooked survivor, i go insta unhook" mindset, and with that kind of mindset you shouldn't be surprised when killer manages to force an early 3v1.
Yea but survivors believe they shouldnt have to adapt and evolve. They believe that killers should just not tunnel at all or use any strategies.
"Me dumb killer, me chase survivor without downing them for whole match, me no need powers or addons or perks or strategies cause me dumb killer"
-

Nerf by nothing% is not a nerf, his only actually significant nerf is the range reduction from leap, the cooldown after breaking a pallet is nice but doesn't fix his problems. He also was never problematic with add-ons.
What ELSE do I want? Kaneki not to be an SSS god Tier killer that can very easily get 4 kills even against a coordinated competitive team with very little efforts?he is definitely not SSS tier. He's B teir at best, A if im generous

@Skeleton23 said:
I only said this because I'm a Killer main and I do get alot of hate on how I play and it's just me seeing if it was my fault
Well this is the way i see it.
There are two scenarios a "3-gen" can happen. In 1, it is the survivors fault and 2, the killer is not so much at fault but more like their responsible for.
Scenario 1: survivors dont spread out their gens. meaning instead doing gens 1/3/5/7, they're doing gens 1/2/3/4. So when gen 4 is done, this causes a "3-gen" struggle which is the result of not spreading out their gens.
Scenario 2: AKA "Killer's Last Stand".
This can happen 1 of 3 ways:
- The Killer looks for the 3 gens closest to each other at the start and protects them
- They decide to do this in the middle of the match
- Or before the 2nd to last gen is completed
However this happens is just the killer preparing for the last stand which a lot of the survivor community frowns on. Mostly cause the killer that was the best at this was Skull Merchant ( placing her drones at the 3 gens to notify her to come back, to place claw traps on survivors working on those gen, or just to keep survivors away from those 3 gens).
At the end of the day when the killer does this its called "strategy" but we all know survivor mains hate that word. So thats just my take
-

The Ghoul has officially become the new “go next” experience, just like Skull Merchant was for the majority of her existence. Most survivors just don’t want to play against him. You load in, see it’s The Ghoul, and everyone’s instantly in “go next” mode. People DC, give up on hook, or just walk into the killer like, “get it over with.”
Just like Skull Merchant, it’s less about survival and more about surviving the boredom.
Also, please don’t get mad at me. I’m just sharing what I’ve seen. If you’re having fun with him, that’s cool. But from what I’ve experienced, he’s the new “gg go next" for the majority. 🤷♂️
see ill never understand this mentality. whenever i play as survivor there are killers i'd prefer not to go up against but play through regardless. Its so silly and childish making up excuses as to why you lost again the killer: "killer is OP, his addons are broken, his perks are unbalanced".
Think survivors need to start looking inward and think: "maybe its me? maybe it was the mistake I made? Maybe he was just the better player."
But no, its usually: "its everyone else's fault but mine."
