You blanketing SWF as the root of all the game's problems is not critical thinking.

Do you lack reading comprehension? I have never stated SWF are the root of all the games problems, that's just what you're feeling and isn't a basis for rebuttal. I've been an advocate for SWF nerfs, map changes, S Tier Killer nerfs and low tier Killer buffs, but you can't comprehend all of that and can only focus on one single point, SWF. Time and time again, if I post a comment including all of those things, you specifically only choose SWF to cry about, it's no wonder why lol

Example: Just look four comments up.

You people complain about game balance and just upvote each others farts and downvote anything of actual substance, but it's fine, you have a right to get high on each others fumes, just stop complaining about game balance when you're antithetical to it.

  • The justification for S-Tier Killers is SWF, so both need nerfs, except that idea ruffles the feathers of some people here who lack critical thinking lmao

However, BHVR is going to do neither because they prioritize profit over community and game balance.

  • Nah, 2v8 is better than 1v4 and there's a laundry list of reasons why that is. Really they should make 2v8 permanent and clearly they extended 2v8 because that's what people want, the games gotten a boost in players because of it.

  • I'm tired of playing Nemi and having my zombies spawn in an empty tile between a gen and rubble, trapping them inside. It's happening on a few of the maps and it's annoying, especially since they all can spawn on top of each other in there. Just had all four of my zombie's, on the gas haven 2v8 edition, spawn one of those empty tiles and they kept spawning there all game lol

  • This is the worst iteration of 2v8 yet. Aside from the sheer amount of bugs and ohhhh and there are a lot, the balance is absolutely atrocious. Matches are either steamrolls or get steamrolled. It's so funny how BHVR balances this game when most SoloQ Survs are incapable of doing gens. I've had so many 2v8's in SoloQ where if I'm caged first and then tunneled (which Killers are very much still doing with Killers like Billy and Blight constantly doing it), not a single gen will get done…. not a single gen in 2v8 when there are 13 gens available lol

Horrible… well that is unless playing with friends. Playing Killer with friends is easy and we always win, same with when we are Survs. Yet people say DBD isn't a party game when the game literally relies on playing with a party to actually experience any gameplay lol The experience is wildly inconsistent and that's not about balance, the bugs are crazzzy. I had one match where no ones class perk was working, so everyone started dcing. Another match as Nemi where 3 of my zombies spawned in a dead space between a gen and a haystack. The mori's aren't working. The cheaters are rampant. Idk this game is a mess.

  • It's not just in 2v8, it plagues 1v4 as well but in 2v8 since everything is doubled, it's always quite apparent and that's with both sides. I get cheating Survs constantly as Killer and as teammates when I play the Surv matches to get priority queue. There's also been a lot of cheating Killers.

The game mode is also buggy af unless there's even more cheats that are specific to 2v8; I had a match with friends where no ones class power timer was decaying at the start of the match, so no one could use their class for an entire 2 minutes before four hooks because they weren't becoming available. Like what the actual #########.

Speed hacks and gen repair boost speeds are rampant in this game mode, which is funny given how already easy these things are available by standard. There's matches as Killer were the Survs are popping gens every ten seconds despite Killers getting almost no hooks and I see it as Surv via the HUD and I see it as Killer by experiencing it.

BHVR needs to seriously get an actual anti-cheat, this is pathetic.

I get that the shilling for SWF will continue no matter what, but can we get some originality with the rebuttals at least? Instead of the same washed responses?

Perhaps different people saying the same things to you over and over and over mean there's truth to them.

Okay lol The same people are on here crying about the game balance and why it never gets better. There's really no truth to any of your rebuttals, just an immense lack of critical thinking.

I don't know who spiked your coffee this morning or what, but I never said anything about killers, killer perks, or survivor perks in general.
I just pointed out that there is a massive variance in SWF's that is impossible to truly balance.
Do you think that the average survivor team would be able to deal with Junylar's suggestion of +100% repair time?
I think not. It will be a 100% one-sided experience, where the killer will always win.

That's the point, you didn't say it, you people never do lol So what I did and maybe you're familiar with this concept, is use a analogy to directly compare how Killers get balanced with how Survs get balanced.

There's a massive variance in Killers, does that mean the less picked ones don't matter? Who cares if they are op or not? Or perks, why should perks be balanced for all Killers? There's just such a huge variance and that's not even accounting for the variance of skill, right? Why do any Killers receive nerfs to their kits, there's such a huge variance of skill at play to be doing that, right?

No, ofc not because that would be ridiculous and promote awful gameplay balance, much like what your comments do, but for Survs.

And yea, I'm a huge proponent of wanting repair speed debuffs for SWF's and I totally think they could handle it. I also think that by doing that, those top S-Tier Killers can be rebalanced, leading to an overall better gameplay experience.

Not every 4-man SWF is a "bully squad". Nor are all of them super-cracked "seal teams" either.

Not every Killer is nurse, so why do perks have to balanced for Nurse? You really don't see how atrocious your comment is, when Killer side has dozens of Killers that need to be balanced around aside from Killer perks, but here you are claiming that SWF shouldn't be balanced lol

  • I mean, this is really how pallet spawns should look against A-S Tier Killers and this is an interesting 180 from the outright missing pallets Survs have had to endure for the past months.

  • @SOULWARRIOR71K said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4055461#Comment_4055461

Number 2 will never happen because it assumes that all swfs are hyper efficient gen/escape machines (they aren't). As it stands, 4 man swfs escape about 48% (which is above average) with the average escape rate for all survivors aimed at 40%. If all swfs were nerfed, the overall escape rate would almost certainly go down. So I'll say again, swfs are strong on average, but killers still perform better regardless of whether they are facing a fulls swf or full solos.

That doesn't matter because Surv perks and Killers are nerfed all the time because at their peak performance they are broken. The attempted counter argument that SWF shouldn't receive nerfs because not all SWFs play super serious doesn't matter, the coordination is something this game wasn't built upon and one of the core reasons the game is entirely unbalanced.

I don't need you to say it again, I'd actually prefer you don't say anything at all if what you do say is of such low quality. I honestly couldn't care less for stats that don't factor in afks or even DC's when the majority of my SoloQ matches have DCs in them; that in of itself glaringly tells me that my matches aren't even contributing to whatever bull stats you wanna bring up.

I get that the shilling for SWF will continue no matter what, but can we get some originality with the rebuttals at least? Instead of the same washed responses?

    1. Maps should be based around the "type" of Killer, with all Killers being grouped into a few "types" based on their powers. This dictates the size of maps/pallets/loops/windows/clutter because the game has an immense issue rn with trying to force the entire roster of Killers into the same maps and that's just clearly not beneficial.
    2. SWF mechanic nerfs. For each person in the SWF, a percentage of healing/gen repair penalty is added as well as not having the ability to repeat perks in your specific party.
    3. Make SoloQ lobbies show Survs what perks/items are equipped and bring back hook attempts as basekit.
    4. Nerf the top Killers so Blight/Nurse/Ghoul while buffing/reworking the bottom barrel tier Killers. Though I think map changes would be a better nerf/buff for Killers overall.

The game rn is balanced for SWF's and top tier Killers, leaving everyone else in the dirt, setting them up for unfun gameplay experiences. I'd like for that to change and for EVERYONE to have fun gameplay, not just SWF's and S-Killers.

  • It's common because this game has a hardcore dc penalty system without any of the balance to go along with it. Making long drawn out toxic unfun matches that people either don't want to participate in or will find alternative ways of enjoying their time that typically coincides with trying to ruin other players experiences. There's bots in the game, there should really be no dc penalty that surpasses 2 minutes and 50 seconds.

  • @azaxydbd said:

2meter pallets are the biggest problem. every medicore killer can get free downs these days lol

Well now we just have outright missing pallets on the majority of maps, causing large dead zones smack in the middle of some maps. Midwich is atrocious now, so is dead dog, both have outright no pallets spawing in places where pallets always spawned, so the clutter on both sides of where that pallet is supposed to go is still there, just no pallet, which serves 0 purpose.

  • There can't be much variety since game balance is so horrible. If Killers want to compete with all the SWF and possibly not have miserable matches, they need to play specific perks with specific killers and utilize specific playstyles. It's so bad that people often talk about redefining "winning" or talk about alternate ways of having fun in this game in both SoloQ and as Killer since the intended game flow is often circumvented.

  • What? He's beyond op. His power is way too long and way to easy and way too spammable, with the added bonus of that jam out session which takes up more time (he still has his power a ridiculously long amount of time anyway). His hitbox for his M2 is buggy as hell and registers hits when Survs are outside the circle and he can walk down Survs in tandem to having a power that hits through walls/pallets/windows/floors. Oh yea, and he also get's map traversal that can take a health state or activate his long power again for the checks notes 10th time during the match. He combines 10 Killers together for a nice easy low skilled blend to pander to the no skilled. I've played him, he's literally so easy that almost any combination of perks work and you don't even really need to think at all during the match.

All these new Killers are overpowered to sell DLC since the game balance is so horrible. Imagine if some of the old Killers were coming out in 2026, they'd be insanely different. Imagine Nemesis tentacle whips one Surv to infected and then get's an ultra special time that lasts a minute to where any tentacle hit can hurt a Surv, infected or not. Or how about Trickster, but where successful knife hit's on any Surv builds up stacks on other Survs around.

Maps are smaller than ever, brighter than ever, have awful pallet spawns now and horrible loops, while Killers are easier to use with more tools at their disposal.

Not only does Vecna need a cooldown for his vine attack, he honestly should have two different stances, one for M1's and one for vine attack, as well. So he would need to switch between both so he can't just rundown Survs who are flailing to dodge his attacks and he needs more skill to zone.

  • Yea lot's of Midwich which is interesting since BHVR ruined pallet spawns and there's lots of missing pallets on that map. Almost every single time I play there as Surv, there is no pallets where god pallets should be.

Lobby dodging messes with the matchmaking, which is why it's bad and needs to be reduced.

Outside of that context it's just a bit annoying and something people do for silly reasons, but not a huge issue. The fact that it messes up the matchmaking is the main problem.

Yea I'm not sold on lobby dodging messing with matchmaking, there hardly is any sort of matchmaking anyway since BHVR got rid of ranks factoring into SBMM. OP's change would only ruin matches and match quality. It mostly seems tied to players wanting to force others into playing with them.

  • @Classic_Rando said:

What I learned a long time ago is that if it doesn’t increase revenue or prevent a large number of players from leaving the game, BHVR simply isn’t going to do it. And honestly I don’t blame them because that is the approach any for-profit business should take. Unfortunately for anyone dealing with cheaters on a regular basis, you’re not a big enough issue for BHVR to prioritize. Apparently the problem will need to get a lot worse before large numbers of players start leaving the game because of it.

What's even crazier is that not only do these people have names advertising their cheating discords, but you'd think there would be some auto-flag system for Survs that escape 1 millisecond into the match when no gens, let alone 5, have popped. The same way when those cheating Killers hook everyone so fast that everyone else gets a DC penalty, but oh well, I guess BHVR is focused on their next lame IP to generate sales for whatever flop they decide to develop next.

  • Why are DBD players so obsessed with trying to force other people to play with them. OP's suggestion would make games 10000% more miserable on both sides and really, BHVR should let Survs see eachothers perk/item loadout with all names being anon until the end of the match screen. Imagine Killers, with the system OP suggests you wouldn't be able to equip certain perks based on what items the Survs are bringing.

He incredibly fun and unique. Survivors are playing with shift w+predrop, and when a killer appears and makes them think, they start to get angry.
Just stop in the middle of a loop, suddenly run into an open field, and instead of dropping a palette, run at the killer. He creates so many rewarding mindgame situations, I love playing against him, he really forces you to play outside the box

Yes please, run at Vecna when he is using his power, it foooor sureee is a counter to him, please everyone heed this persons advice and run towards your Vecna's ;)

  • That's what DBD is about now lol No skill, easy wins, no thoughts. No skill in SWF's and all the new Killers have been no skill, in order to compete with the no skill SWF. It's what the community wants though, otherwise there would be serious convos about how awful current SWF implementation has been/is for the game and how that's promoted no skill easy to use S-A tier Killers to compete. Plus, Vecna will receive nerfs once the DLC has made it's max initial profit, like every other Killer release the last couple of years. The Devs capitalize off the horrid game balance in order to suck pennies out of the playerbase.

  • Yea well Surv ain't much better, just look at the crock of ######### new Killer they released, another no skill, high output Killer that's designed for comp SWF's. Game is miserable all around because of SWF and that's not likely to change, just continue to get worse.

  • Survs are toxic because the game is beyond miserable, so people have turned to taking enjoyment in only trying to troll others, same goes for Killer. You can thank BHVR for this as well as the community, both parties refusing to actually talk about real balance and mechanic changes.

  • I get them a lot too, mostly in SoloQ Surv I see them, will even get the same ones in my matches back to back. Weirdly it's always in a match where the game would have been miserable for us otherwise, like a match against a sweaty Blight or Nurse full meta and the cheating Surv trolls them all match. They also cheat in ways that are only exposed through the Surv icons and the Killer would never even know.

  • No DC penalty. There are bots in the game, let the bots play. I play the PTB, where there is no DC penalty and it doesn't ruin matches. The game is overall a better play. No DC penalty would also police the game way better than BHVR ever could, so Killers and Survs who want to play as toxic as possible will be playing against bots, as they should.

  • BHVR flopped with map design. Map design should be based around a few different classes of Killers because ultimately one iteration of a map cannot cater to every single Killer in the game. Your point about good SWF's taking advantage of the pallet density is correct, but that's not a reason to nerf pallet density so that everyone else suffers, that's literally why the game is already so toxic; BHVR caters to a very small select group of players. Really, SWF's should be reworked and come with multiple different game mechanics that counteract how overpowered they are, instead of trying to make blanket changes to all Survs which always just ruins SoloQ.

  • A looooot of cheaters and a lot of them that are advertising their cheats in their name, which ofc is only visible post match when I'm playing Surv and they are Killer. Just DC'd from a match two seconds ago from a cheating hillbilly, with his cheats and cheating discord server advertised as his name and because the DC penalty is so abysmal, I got a 5 min lockout, even though I haven't DC'd in the past two months so now I gotta, what? Play 40 matches to get that to go away? Amazing :)

Really great party game BHVR, props to all those involved in development, totally can't believe every other game you guys have made has flopped, really shocked.

  • It's what happens when BHVR is inept from real game balance and the community supports it. The game is geared towards SWF's and S-Tier Killers, nothing else is really viable if you want to have fun matches that aren't filled with the most toxic slop imaginable. I don't blame the people who play the S-Tier because otherwise they'll just get held hostage in toxic matches and those Blights that make it their personal goal to slug out a 4k at 5 gens have clearly been put through hell to get to that point against SWF's; I don't blame the SWF because SoloQ play is completely non viable, especially with the backtracking of any actual "health patches" and the removal of going next.

It's what happens when a game has a selfish community that wants everything nerfed besides whatever they like to personally abuse combined with Devs who can't balance a thing. Yes, Blight should be nerfed, but then that's one less Killer that can compete with SWF's. So really, SWF's need to be rebalanced while the top Killers get rebalanced and then SoloQ and M1 Killers need to be rebalanced, maps also need a hell of a rebalance and to be split into rng categories based off Killer.

This is why we have to deal with their constant doomposting:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/0575B0PMDDVI/1000011756.jpg

They're not making the money they used to make while streaming this game because the viewers aren't there anymore. Clickbait and faux outrage is all they have left to get those click$ in. Unfortunately, the playerbase has to feel the impact.

True. Anytime I see a DBD content creator vid the opening is always "You won't believe what BHVR did now" with thousands of comments below talking about how awful the game is and how they all stopped playing since that's the only way to get engagement.

  • I mean what's the middle ground? Take a look at these forums and the discussions on steam or reddit. The community can't even admit that SWF's are an issue, that SoloQ is disgusting to play and that Killer gameplay sucks if you aren't playing an op top tier Killer. So what really is the middle ground here? There's three to four different sides to this game, that neither the community will discuss so why would BHVR then develop anything actually meaningful?

  • @Nazzzak said:

Nothing anyone will say can convince me there arent bot survivors in this mode. Legit survivors who will stop healing or repairing the gen the second a flicker of a terror radius is heard. I also don't understand why no one is on a gen but simultaneously I'm watching team mates die on hook. If you're not on a gen, saving anyone, or in a chase, then what on earth are you doing lol

There absolutely are, I see it as Killer and Surv. Survs who double vault windows and pallets infront of Killers like what the bots do, Survs running into corners doing nothing, Survs not getting on gens if there's a whisper of a heart beat, Survs following you for a heal instead of going 4m over to where someone was unhooked to all heal so I can keep working on the only gen we have going, Survs not rescuing eachother off of hooks.

    There's bots in the matches.

  • Yea it's a massive problem for matches against SWF's but not in matches against all randoms or mostly randoms, as per how the game usually is.

  • Legit has to be, because I'm seeing a lot of privatized accounts and I've been watching A LOOOOOT of those do the double vaults in the Killers faces like what we often see the official bots do. They also leave gens the millisecond there's a heartbeat or don't unhook if the Killer is around but occupied with someone else. Bots

They had bots in the past iterations, this iteration is during the worst time of DBD in tandem with the PTB.

  • Eh they get flack because the community is beyond toxic. This game has devolved into "How to punish the other side" and not at all about having fun and interacting with the game mechanics. In fact most matches are about circumventing or preventing game mechanics for the other side.

They also lump all sides of the game into one, which makes it impossible to achieve balance. SoloQ needs targeted changes, SWF need targeted changes, S-Tier Killers need targeted changes and Lower Tier Killers need targeted changes. BHVR is unwilling to do any of that though and instead lumps everyone on both sides together which creates a merry go round of imbalance.

Like do SWF's need any semblance of anti-tunnel? No, but SoloQ sure does need it, though any changes that benefit SoloQ are too much for Killers to deal with in SWF's, so then Killers need to be rewarded for not tunneling or slugging, rewards that S-Tier Killers absolutely do not need nor deserve. End product is a more convulted game with reudced player agency because BHVR can't develop actual balance changes.

  • I'm calling it, there's bots, there is absolutely bots in some of the Surv matches. It's either I get real human beings while playing and we do gens, or I get a lobby of bots who just stand around. I got hooked earlier and watched as every single other player was just sitting in a corner, real human beings don't play like that lol

  • So they should implement a similar hooking system. When a Killer carries a Surv to a hook and places them on there, they get teleported to a different hook on the map and the Killer cannot see the aura. That keeps scourge hooks in the game and sabo while also preventing camping/tunneling. If the Killer wants to go looking for the hooked Surv to camp/tunnel then they need to waste more time to do so.

  • @MrSingularity1011 said:

You just dropped the truth bomb. They should make killer bots so they can make these survivor crybabies happy.

Honestly I'd take Killer bots over the massive amount of slugging/tunneling going on in the game rn, as SoloQ surv I'd actually get to play the game.

That survey has the same issues . No options for bully squads , swfs , sabo squads fast gens etc….

    only survivor pain points

Because then they'd have to acknowledge that SWF have too much of an advantage and that SoloQ and SWF need to be balanced separately.

High MMR 4-man SWFs not only play optimally, but they've also optimized communication.

Your average SWF that you see from Low to Mid MMR is intidistinguishible from a team of Solo Queue players. Streamers, and the DBD community, have tried very hard to paint this narrative that all SWFs are equal and that Solo Queue players are bad. The reality is that neither is true.

The laundry list of mechanics they circumvent for the killer must be incredibly small. Unless, of course, you meant exploit.

That's objectively not true lol In no way shape or form are low to mid SWF indistinguishable from SoloQ. Often in SoloQ there's a DC, which BHVR doesn't even account for nor release stats on, that's not happening in SWF, not even low tier. The only way SoloQ is enjoyable is if paired with a SWF team. Though then the Killer usually DCs.

Not all SWF are equal, but that's no different than how all SoloQ players are not equal… however, their is a baseline average in both of those sides. SWF are generally overtuned for the game, SoloQ is generally undertuned of the game, which literally is why the game remains unbalanced with BHVR scrambling to release fixes, which don't do much of anything.

  • @Kaitsja said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4019485#Comment_4019485

Ah yes, the dreaded SWF and the proposal to punish people for playing with their friends. Being in a SWF doesn't magically make the generators go faster, nor does it automatically translate into a loss for the killer, nor does it mean that they're Team Eternal.

To call it out like it is would be to say that killers tunnel because they can. They don't need a reason to tunnel; it's simply more efficient to do so.

Yawn You know as well as I do why SWF is op and why it's ruining game balance with the entire laundry list of game mechanics they circumvent for Killer and how much they get from comms and even the lack of comms, you just don't care because it benefits you.

The team doesn't have to be Team Eternal, I play with friends who are literally awful, beyond awful, but we often win just because we are in discord and are able to make callouts that are impossible in SoloQ… things that ruin a Killers playstyle, mechanics and perks. Then I play SoloQ and it's literally the most miserable experience possible through lack of real matchmaking as well as how outright toxic the Killers are. The difference is night and nuclear explosion.

  • Bingo. I see this a lot in SoloQ, the Killer will make the match absolutely miserable for us because their tilted from their miserable matches against SWF. Then the Survs in turn start making it miserable for each other because that's the only form of control they can exert during the match. When it comes to the last two Survs in SoloQ, they usually always will rat on each other or tea bag each other on the ground just for the Killer to then 4k instead of letting anyone have the hatch lol

The community bickers against each other about their "side" instead of blaming BHVR for awful balancing and lackluster band aid fixes for issues.

I get that you want harsh early-game penalties to deter tunneling, but making early hooks a “potential game killer” for Killers creates extreme swings that punish all players, including new or inexperienced ones. Not every early down is unsportsmanlike, and mechanics like double gen progress would unfairly favor Survivors while heavily discouraging Killers from playing strategically. Not only that but I think Killers would be more inclined to tunnel and camp to secure kills if they know the game is over. Seems like it would create more problems than fix them.

My concept tackles the same problem in a balanced way: the Hindered debuff only triggers if a Killer actively chooses to camp a downed Survivor, and Killer Incentives are disabled if they tunnel early. This discourages early-game tunneling without punishing legitimate play, keeps matches interactive, and gives Survivors a fair chance to reset or recover.

It’s a system that targets behavior, not outcomes, reducing unnecessary tunneling at the start of matches while keeping the game fair for both sides — rather than swinging the match drastically based on one or two early hooks.

You're saying "early hooks". Nowhere did I state that "early hooks" should be punished. I stated that when the Killer tunnels someone out of the match, so they chose to put the same person on hook twice or thrice, at 5-4 gens, should be punished.

  • @ImperatorHaze said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4020476#Comment_4020476

I get where you’re coming from — tunneling and early eliminations at 5–4 gens are definitely frustrating, and I completely agree that something needs to address it. But punishing Killers through game-altering mechanics like gen progression boosts would cause more balance issues than it solves.

Your suggestion would make every early hook a potential game-ender for Killers. If one Survivor gets tunneled out early and the next gen pops for double progress, the Killer instantly loses almost all map control — especially on large maps or against efficient teams. That would completely swing the match, not by skill or strategy, but by an arbitrary rule.

The idea behind my concept is to address the same problems in a fair, systemic way that doesn’t punish legitimate Killer play:

    • Momentum Protection makes tunneling less efficient, not impossible. The Killer can still chase the same Survivor, but it costs them time and pressure — creating a natural deterrent instead of a hard penalty.
    • Anti-Slug discourages bait-camping and promotes active gameplay, again targeting abusive playstyles without removing tactical flexibility.
    • Killer Incentives encourage Killers to spread hooks and pressure without forcing them to — they’re rewarded for balanced play and lose those bonuses only if they tunnel early.

All three systems work together — they don’t punish Killers for playing aggressively, but they redirect aggression toward strategic gameplay that keeps matches healthy for both sides.

In contrast, a mechanic that doubles gen progress for early eliminations would create a “swingy” meta where Killers are punished for securing downs too early, even when playing fair. It would end up discouraging good Killer play entirely and lead to Survivors rushing gens to force an artificial power shift.

The entire point is to make it a "potential game killer for Killer" lol That is the only way you decentivize unsportsmanlike gameplay. Killers should get no incentives for spreading hooks aside from the only incentive being they don't get slapped with a disincentive. Also, what I suggested wouldn't make tunneling impossible for Killer, but it sure would make them commit to the bit instead of having an exponentially easy time after they've finished tunneling, which is entirely why almost every Killer is doing it. When people complain about tunneling, they aren't complaining about tunneling when the gates are about to be powered, they're complaining about all the unnecessary tunneling happening at the start of the match and yes, that should be heavily punished. No Surv queues to sit on the ground or sit on a hook all match.

  • I mean these are all pretty bad suggestions, but that's to be expected since your suggestions are based in not punishing Killers. The hard truth is, that Killer needs to be punished for tunneling/slugging/camping at 5-4 gens.

Eons ago there was a bug that when a Surv got sacrificed, if they spectated instead of leaving the game, the next gen to pop would count for 2. They should put that in the PTB, if a Surv is tunneled out at 5-4 gens, the next gens that pops counts for 2. Would absolutely counter the rampant tunneling, would decrease Killer map pressure since they have more gens to guard and give the Survs an edge. They removed hook attempts unless offering and going next, so this even is aided by that new mechanic system, especially since if the game detects you going next repeatedly you can accrue a ban.

That would absolutely curb Killers unfairly tunneling from the jump.

  • That to me is why the DC penalty just doesn't make sense. There is zero effort into quality control of matches, so why punish people for wanting out of matches that aren't fun for them? Either the game is serious and needs a competitive MMR/real balancing or it's not and it's just intended for casual quick matches. The current Frankensteining of casual gameplay with ultra competitive consequences makes for atrocious game design.

Last match? Clutched out a 3out in SoloQ against a Wesker. This match? Watching people get picked off gens by Pig. No quality control.

  • Yes, produce a recipe for chewy brownies. What are you a chatbot lol

Post those stats about the percentage of Surv players that are SoloQ and SWF, then articulate why nerfing SWF would kill the game. I don't care to know about the imaginary scenarios you tell yourself, base your post in reality.

Though I fully expect your next reply to stay in theme with lacking substance.
