You can choose as many killers as you want but prioritize it who really needs a addon rework right away.
My opinion is
- Nemesis
- Demogorgon
- Unknown
i would like addons that can change the zombies into different enemy type with their own abilities (Cerberus, licker, crimsonhead, maybe Ganados/Majani?)

While thats true that people should play both sides, i still am always perplexed by the attitude of players of this game.
There is no other game i have ever played where i am supposed to "think about how my opponent emotionally feels about how i'm playing and adjust my playstyle to be 'nicer'"
If i'm playing street fighter, and i'm playing guile, and my opponent is zangief, you can bet i'm going to try and win by throwing 100+ fireballs while they try to get close to me. I'm not going to "empathize with my opponent about how boring that is and make the choice to NOT throw a fireball because that would be 'too mean'" Nor am i going to be the zangief player and expect my opponent to stop throwing fireballs. Nor am i going to get in close with him and start a throw loop and decide "maybe i'll just throw them twice instead of keep doing it because its mean"
It is very confusing to me that for some reason in this game and this game only i have to "think about my opponent and be nice"
Like, am i supposed to just play chess and see my opponent hung their queen and think "ah that would be too mean to take their queen for free, i'll be nice and not do that"
If a playstyle is inherently unfun for boring to play against, it is not up to the players to not play the style for fear of upsetting their opponents. It is on the developers of the game for allowing said style of play to exist, and perhaps, as in my street fighter example, it is actually designed intentionally to allow for that style of play, that could just be the answer. But you would never cry to the other player about it just because they did something "boring"
By far the best response. I feel the same way

The Aoe is fine not small nor to big there needs to be a fair punishment for missing your shots cause you can just dish it out with no worry it's not skillful at all
the punishment is that the chase is extended every time the survivor successfully dodges, giving the rest of the team more time to do gens/heal/etc. the ability doesnt need like a 60sec CD for missing or vecna gets Nurse's fatigue

yet it doesnt stop you doing what you were doing because you felt bad for the killer. you wanted to win… you could see all 3 gens were going to be done at the same time, you could have stopped doing your gen. My point is you and the team as a whole could be seen as making the game as miserable as possible for the killer because you wanted to win, you were playing the game. This is what many killers do, they play the game, they try to win….maybe they feel bad for tunneling maybe they dont but they dont try to make survivors games as miserable as possible they just try to win, just like you.

But you still haven't explained the reason for your irritation with the tbagging Sable, tell me, what's wrong with that? What if Sable does challenges/archives after opening the gate or do totem/sabos hooks for points? Didn't you think about that or are you only interested in the killers fun?
How is that the killer's responsibility? Killers have challenges/archives, do you slow the game down so they can do theirs. I bet you dont

its something I wouldnt want. Cause I understand that demanding unnecessary nerfs comes with consequences or simply put: "if you want something, you have to give something in return", if you demand they nerf killers then you'd best be ready for them to nerf something on your side for compensation or just to make it fair

to be honest if people took the 5 seconds to calm down after getting beaten and just letting the mori play out maybe there wouldnt be so many toxic comments. ok so you so you lost, relax, chill… when post match chat pops up say gg and move on. but nooo instead its a case of survivor gets downed…..blood boils and they rage….instant abandon and start flooding the end game chat with all sorts of toxicity lol
they take the loss so personal whether they were camp/tunnel/slug or not. I'll come out and admit that i've had killer matches i lost to survivors and it made me mald. I just dont see the sense to come on the forums and complain about it. Also helps that i watched a lot of "reacting to salt" videos from guys like spooksnjukes and aaron dukes

It's not a skill issue because the game is designed to prevent Survivors from looping the Killer forever. And now you failed to factor in:
- The perk that lets you rebuild a pallet, are you talking about Rick's perk? That one isn't even good because you have to waste time opening two chests to activate it, and it's fragile, so the Killer won't have to break it. Some help that is.
- There's a perk that blocks windows, it's called Bamboozle.
- Anti-exhaustion syringe: only once per match, since it consumes the medkit on use.
"Bloodlust activates only in a prolonged chase, thus you wasted time on a chase"
Wouldn't that be all the more reason to not tunnel?
right i know how your logic works: "its a skill for you but not for me". the game doesnt need to be designed to allow survivors to loop forever, just long enough to make killer drop chase or allow their teammates to complete gens. and now you failed to factor in:
- it allows you to pallet stun the killer twice with the same pallet. despite needing to open 2 chests to activate it so yea it does help
- one, it blocks one window. so if theres two windows, it can only block one. you block window 1 with bamboozle for 16 secs however if you block window two within that 16 sec, window one becomes unblocked
- thats why you use it an emergency and not the very sec you become exhausted
you're the one that brought up BL, and I never said BL was needed to tunnel so idk where you were going with that?
-
@CrypticGirl said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4039754#Comment_4039754
And some things you fail to factor in:
- Pallets can be permanently broken
- Window vaults get blocked
- Chase perks only work once per chase.
- Killers get bloodlust.
So if you can't catch anyone with all that help, you definitely have skill issues.
and now you failed to factor in:
- it wastes time to break pallets and theres a perk that lets you rebuilds a pallet
- windows can only be block thru certain conditions (rushed 3 times in chase but wont block if you break los, or use of perks)
- Chase perks can be used more than once in chase through certain items or perks (example: anti-exhaustion syringe)
- Bloodlust activates only in a prolonged chase, thus you wasted time on a chase
So if you get downed/tunneled/slugged with all that help and basekits, you definitely have a skill issue

By hooking them? If you tunnel and keep chasing a single Survivor, that gives the other three nothing to do but gens, and then you get "genrushed" as Killers like to call it. But if you hook one, then go after another, that's two Survivors not doing gens. And then the third Survivor has to go save the hooked person and heal them. That's three Survivors not doing gens. So that's not "giving us a chance" at all.
yea if was an open map with nothing but walls then you'd be right and i would concede. However you left out 3 things you have to factor in:
- pallets
- window vaults
- Chase perks
funny how you conveniently left these 3 out as if killers dont have to worry about pallets still leading to one and another or to window vaults/jungle gym as well as survivor chase perks like lithe/sprintburst/balanced or flashbangs around the corner.
fight it all you want but it still takes more then just chasing and hooking survivors or "chasing survivor off gen" as alot of you love to say, to provide pressure if gens pop too quickly. so far all you have said is that killers should just spread hooks and thats all it takes to get pressure, still havent provide alternatives to tunneling/slugging

But when that happens, it wouldnt matter that the gen isnt getting done because even if that 1 gen gets done, its unlikely im going to be able to do the rest when my team is dropping like flies.

its realistic for the ones that need a full build to counter it. not every one does need a full anti tunnel build. my point is if someone is complaining about something, knowing what the solution is, knowing what perks counter it and the choose not to set them then they cant really complain.
Basekit counters include
- stealth, killer cant tunnel what they cant find.
- looping, a killer tunneling a good looper often leads to them losing the match or abandoning chase which stops the tunneling.
- the team as a whole is basekit for survivor, body blocks, unhooking at the right time, flashlight saves just to name a few.
If these basekit counters are not enough then there a number of perks to help, if one or 2 perks dont help then yes a full build is needed for that player.
Killers are in the same boat and i think the same way about killers when they say "we shouldnt have to use full slow down perks"… if basekit pressure and basekit tactics fail v basekit gen speeds or gen rush builds then yes absolutely they should use a slow down build. Thats what the perks are there for, to help players counter a specific situation they are struggling with.
100% agree. we could even use the analogy of: If you're going outside and its raining out, you should wear a raincoat

So what the title says. Tunneling is bad. It's not fun for survivors. We all know this.
Thing is, you know what's not fun for killers? Being stunned and chain blinded with extended duration blindness at every pallet. Yet, seems that when a killer main says that is unfun, survivors either don't care, or mock them.
It's not up to me to make sure the game fun for you, just as it is not up to you to make sure then game is fun for me.
In the end, IMO we all should follow The Golden Rule… Do unto others as you would have done unto you.
If as a killer you are so gung ho that you would never be a 'bully" to killer, then play survivor. Don't be the bully.
If as a survivor you are so gung ho that you would never tunnel, then play killer. Don't tunnel.
See things from the other side for awhile.Tunneling is unfun for survivors but sometimes its necessary
yea survivor mains (the entitled ones) are always quick to express what the killers do that isnt fun for survivors but have no problem doing things that arent fun for killers and when confronted about it they say to git gud or say its part of their objective.
Exactly! The survivors fun isnt the killer's job and vice versa.
I dont ever expect survivor to play in such a way thats fun for me. They play how they want, just as I play Killer how I want.
People need to just stop telling the other side how to play
-
umm, cause you're allowed to use whatever perks on whatever killer you want? also its not wallhacks, its aura read and its not like your aura is shown from start to finish when they use these perks, theres conditions to activate and it doesnt last long

The data doesn't show that, pure and simple. Every time they release data killers like blight are at the middle of the pack, and nurse is usually at the bottom of the list. So obviously they are not overpowered. Again though, unless you are talking about high MMR, which are you? If so then we probably need to be talking about how only 3 killers are viable at that level.
i always think its silly how ppl still say Blight is OP even when he has weaknesses to his power. "He has 5 tokens!" yea and then goes on CD depending on how many he uses. If he breaks a pallet with his power, ok he's stunned afterwards, his turning isnt that great unless you're using his turning addons.
he's strong but i dont think he's OP. On a side-note, i remember in a ptb when he has an addon that gave him infinite rushs at the cost of a horrendous CD, I kind of missed that lol

Survivors already have repair speed penalty. Gen rush issue related with assymetry format and stacking of boosts through perks only.People sitting on same gen without urgency and prove thyself is actually a poor play.
isnt there a penalty when 2 or more survivors work on the gen? thats what I thought anyways. like the only upside to having more than 1 survivor is if they are really good at great skill checks then it might get done faster, unless I have that wrong?

I disagree. Lightborn is deeply boring design and fairly unhealthy, because it isn't just a defence against flashlight squads- it's a complete hard counter to blinding as a mechanic which requires nothing from the killer and thus just encourages survivors to stop trying and do generators instead.
It'd be better for everyone if the perk were like, interesting, in the least.
You can disagree all you want. Its not about whether its boring or not and its not unhealthy but a perk to make up for a weakness. Yes, it is a defense against blind squads, cause most of the time killers only equip it if they see 3 or 4 with flashlights. "requires nothing from the killer" so what, WoO doesnt require anything from the survivors, nobody is making a rework post about that? yea cause doing gens is the objective, flashlight blinding is not.
No, it would be better for the survivors, you're only thinking from the survivors perspective
-
sorry but lightborn doesnt need a rework. its meant to be a defense against flashlight squads, and it should stay as such

I love this post. I agree players should be allowed to play how they want regardless of how there playing.
Removing Freedom is what's going to make most players Leave the game regardless of what side ur on.
Killer:
No intentional tunneling though if I just happen to run into you I'm not just going to ignore you.
No face camping but hag or trapper traps are okay.
No slugging but chasing another survivor away for a moment is fine.
No BMing for any reason even if the survivors are toxic
Keep the gens and survivors damaged as much as possible.
If I'm playing Drac, yes you may pet the puppy but then im lunging at you.
Survivor:
No teabagging
No continuous looping, all out chase or death (usually death)
No ratting out other survivors.
No DCing (outside of a real world emergency).
Flashlight Killer only when myself or others are in danger.
Don't leave someone on the hook to die. (Taking a few seconds to finish a gen is okay).
These Entited Rules have always been Dumb and I wish they never excited. Because the game would actually be fun.

No, I think the current design is much healthier.
Imo, Pain Res is in an ideal place right now. Is it strong? Sure. But it's not overly broken and unless they try to bring back the "rewards for not tunneling" system, there is no reason to change Pain Res.
it wasnt broken, it still had to be used on a scourge hook which was its "self nerf". Of course if they did bring it back to OG, they'd have to remove hook respawns

This is true.
Yes, you can push the narrative that tunneling for pressure is necessary, but it isn't always the best choice.
Is it worth it for a Pig to tunnel, or rather use her power to slow down the game? What about Sadako? Trapper? Of course Nurse can remove a vulnerable player easier, but the same applies to healthy players.
Plus, if you hard tunnel, guess what? Everyone else genrushes.
Now, I DO think there should be a bit of a reward for spreading pressure. A bit more than we got now.
honestly give us basekit BBQ, the BP stack for each unique hook (1 token 25%, 2 tokens 50%, 3 tokens 70%, 4 tokens 100%). take it a step further and allow it to repeat (each first hook 100%, second hook 200%, and so on)

https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4013858#Comment_4013858
The game is better off without frequent ragequitters. They are the #1 problem with solo q,. They should not be bargained with, since they act out of entitlement, and you can't fix that. They should be forced to play with other people that frequently ragequit, so they can ruin each other's games.
Really, just do that. Place the frequent ragequitters with each other. It's completely fair, because if someone thinks it's acceptable to ragequit, they should be 100% fine being in groups with other people that think the same way.
exactly. abandoning your teammates and disregarding the rules of the trials is so disrespectful.
Yea put the Ragequitters with each other, see how they like it when their teammates abandon them for no "good" reason. Ragequitting is never acceptable and theres no justification for it.
Kind of sad that you're getting downvoted just for speaking truth about ragequitting.

https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/456077/killers-crying-about-changes-once-again
You do realize the community as a whole and content creators that spend time playing survivors and been playing them for so many years have stated that the current values are not ready for live servers yet.
If this hit live servers it would be chaotic.
Let them polish it, the changes will be negligible for lower end players either way they will still feel like they wont be tunneled out and the polished changes will feel much more impact for better at higher mmr
if they really wanted an anti-tunnel idea, i say give killers basekit BBQ stacks. back when BBQ give you a token for each unique survivor hooked up to 4, each token gave 25% increases BP gains for all categories, that was always the first task on my list. after i got the 4 tokens thats when i'd start playing the match for real so even if all 4 escaped, i'd still have a big BP payout so getting no kills wasnt as hard to deal with. maybe even repeat that for then the killer can get 8 tokens, and finally 12 tokens if they kept doing that for each hook stage.
just an idea
