Are u really going to left the perk in its actual poor state?

Survs perk, sorry. If it were a killer perk it would be reverted this patch

  • @SuzuKR said:

Identifying and breaking a 3-gen early is part of skill. If survivors get 3-genned, it is always their fault.

Agreed. Same as being camped or tunneled. Everything is the surv fault. But the 4k killers get in almost every game is because they’re semigods playing this game, of course

  • Nope. It could have been a good one, but they nerfed it to the ground

  • @6659Leg said:

I've ran discordance on wesker for the better part of my games on him,one thing was always consistent, survivors spawn too close or ontop of gens.

It's not just 1 survivor either,it's either 2 or 3. This essentially ensures by the time the killer gets there, that gen is done or about to be done. It also makes sense as to why blight and nurse are heavily valued as well (I will say wesker can be as well if they fix his bugs) because they can easily travel the map within a time that's reasonable for them to stop the gen.

This also brings up the idea of a basekit corrupt intervention to mind, similar to how survivors have a free BT,killers should have a 50-60s CI. Another fix could be just to have survivors spawn more in the center of the map or anywhere that's not near a gen, this way the killer has some time to find a survivor or help set up killers (Trapper, hag, etc).

And to survivors or people that say "ThAts tOO oP!",well,I remember hearing that you shouldn't need to give up a perk slot to just have a normal time...

(Also yes,I understand nurse will most likely get this nerfed or scrapped altogether if BHVR ever actually read this. Unfortunately that character Bottle necks a lot of things, that's on BHVR to figure out because a majority of perks suffer because she uses them too well or is too oppressive with them. Look at Awakened Awarness for an example, that perk was solely nerfed because of nurse.)

    Thank you for your time.

A question... which is you kill rate?

Was going to say the same thing. Higher luck guarantees green and highest is purple or better.

    And better doors location also

  • I’m not.I don’t play since the massive killers buff

    Its called Teammates.

Devs cant fix Teammate-Issues in SoloQ.

Agreed. Teammates camp or tunnel you to death

  • Yes, killers need more buffs. I prefer a surv starts the trial hooked, so killer could start camping since the start of the trial

  • Escape now as solo is a miracle, so almost every survivor is at the same level at low mmr. That’s why you play with so bad survs. And killer queue is so long the mmr put them in any lobby. That’s why you play against very good killers

Increasing the base Gen regression... would be one thing

Making adjustments to Maps... would be another

All I'm saying is to stop asking for basekit perks...

And yes this game could reinvent the wheel... rather then relying on what they have (there's a reason why certain perks aren't being used)

Well, put again gens to 80s and create a perk to last gens 90secs

  • Anticamping perk. If you’re unhooked from a scourage hook every dropped pallet and not broken is reset to its upright position.

  • Totally agree. This is the best solution against face campers now

  • @TheLastHook said:

Sure yeah let´s make Flashbang also base kit.

    Anything else you need?

(it sucks when you want to use something but forces you to lock a perk slot isn´t it? happens the same to Killers with Lightborn)

the devs should make bloodlust and lunge attack perks and remove them from basekit

I think killers need all the help they can get. It is hard to say maps are killer sided when every match is a loopfest with all the pallets scattered on the map.

    And ended in 4k

  • A killer main asked for confirmation about the new killer being reworked, and devs of course answer. But I didn’t see a comment form a dev about soloQ improvements, kill rates, camping issues or something relative to survs in a lot of time

  • @Carth said:

I wish they gave us this number and In addition bracketed it by MMR so we can see more than just an average

I doubt they can give numbers to us. The number of es apes is probably very very low, so they can’t say it

  • I don’t know why survs don’t like hags who put 10 traps at the hooked guy with myc. :D

  • @DBD78 said:

Mine was 50% or more before the killer sided patch, which was fair but not to solos. Now it's been probably 25% since that patch.

    25%? You’re a semigod!!!

Terminus counters Adrenaline, yes, but that’s literally what it‘s supposed to do. It serves no purpose until endgame and then essentially acts as a weaker version of noed that isn’t a hex and then goes away when the exits are opened. Personally I don’t think terminus is even that good on its own; it might get some use in endgame builds but that’s about it.

Adrenaline is still going to be a great perk and on the off chance a killer has Terminus, oh well. You will still get the speedboost.

Sincerely, a survivor main and Adrenaline enjoyer

And what adrenaline suppose to do? Because it only activated at egc too

Survs can always use op perk combos to plunder advantage... meanwhile, too many situation can consume killer player's enthusiasm.

Like, 8 hooks but 0 kills then 4escape and 4 ggez, 4 downs but 3 selfheal up with perks, infinite stun combo, and also gen rush. DBD always ignore these depressing gameplay.

It's just feel like, they never treat killer players like their customer, but as an AI enemy, or toy for Surv . Surv always can feel achievement by using Op perk combos and chat channel. While killers can't have fun with the game, always be worn down in enthusiasm all the time, even they spend thousands of hours in practicing... They nurfed Huntress, Sprit, Billy... And which is the next...

There should be some reason to attract players play killer...

This game is probably in one of the best spots its been in a while.

True face camping is gone, hatch standoffs are gone, most infinites are gone, busted perks are largely fixed not entirely but largely.

All this talk about incentivising killers not to tunnel/camp. When it’s often survivor play that results in it.

I play a lot of scratched mirror Myers, the number of times I hook someone, hit the stalk button and see 2-3x survivors all right next to the hook. Waiting to dash in for the save.

This scenario typically results in play around the hook, wound everyone and often get the hook person to second stage thanks to bad team decision making and unsafe unhooks.

The majority of times I see tunnelling it’s due to terrible survivor decision making and killers capitalising on bad survivor mistakes.

Lastly it doesn’t matter what you do in game when playing killer because everything these days is camping and tunnelling according to the most vocal opponents to it. It’s a go to excuse for loss in order to devalue your opponent, bandage your ego and cover your own potential mistakes.

So what exactly are we trying to fix?

People say there is an epidemic of camping and tunnelling and yeah it can payoff in general but there is also an epidemic of really stupid survivor play making camping and tunnelling very viable and often the best decision at the time.

The expectation is that killers will ignore these mistakes in the name of fairness. We also need mechanics that force killers to ignore these mistakes so that we can all feel it’s fair.

Suddenly it’s sounding a lot less fair.

The game is in the worst spot as solo in the history of this game

If they didn’t care about survivors the game would have died by now, we both know that

Well, 14000 less people in the last 2 months in steam is a lot of money. But they don’t care. They only give stuff for killers. And 10 secs base bt can help, but the solo state is so bad it doesn’t help anyways

  • @Dr_Bot said:

I am so tired of camping and tunneling. I run perks like off the record and ds and I still get tunneled and killed. Keep in mind that I actually get value from these perks. Whenever I get off the hook killers come straight for me. Sometimes gens will get done the other survivors will leave but I’m dead because the killer tunnels me. Even when I don’t get tunneled the other survivors on soloque don’t do anything when I get hooked. I don’t even think making kindred base kit will fix this.

Sorry, devs don’t care. Only killers can have fun

April 1st was like 4 months ago, wesker is nowhere near S tier material, barely mid A tier, clunky hitboxes, his power works best on open spaces if you manage to hit somebody or hit something while charging and in loops is pure trash and lets not talk about the so hyped pallet/window jump wich is almost useless in every scenerio except running vault jumping perks

Dont worry, they will buff him. Only killers are allowed to have fun

  • Combining killer perks is totally fine. Don’t try to do the same with surv perks

I'm sure everyone had such that after a series of victories came across prime parties against which you feel helpless and you regret not leaving the game before the match

    Look at that #########

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/17CZ2NYXNPU2/untitled.png

I played against a strong team, non-toxic is important but It's a shame that one offering gave the survivors a huge advantage. This map is categorized as pain (and do not need to say that there is an offering of the Sacrificial Ward)

I didn't camp or tunnel. because I felt that I would lose because of this and therefore I tried to fight to the end and still lost. At the same time, I played no worse than them

You won't understand until you experience the same as me.

The difference between the RNG team and the SWF is HUGE and need to do something about it

That's why i think If you play with friends then:

    - ban on choosing an offering map (Or even removed from the game. everything should be rng)

    - perks and items should not be repeated

I think this is fair and balances the game against the SWF

And the problem is the swf and not the series of victoríes you get before vs solos, of course

And you’re bad hitting m1 at survs?

As the title says, running Open-Handed will not increase the range that the killer's aura is revealed when using Wiretap on a gen. I'm hoping this is a bug because Open-handed works with Kindred so it would make sense that it should work with Wiretap considering it also has an aura reading radius.

Can a dev confirm if this is a bug or feature?

Sorry, you’re a survivor. You don’t deserve good perks

What kill? One still has to get the guy in the hook. Can be unhooked again.

Also maybe don't unhook in my face after 10s when I already saw you nearby. No reason for me to go a wall and do like if I didn't see you.

I am meant to be pressuring gens, I cannot do that if a Survivor or two are coming for the rescue because it makes no sense to do so.

That hook you want to unhook with zero risk meant a generator or two to be repaired, mind you.

Let me ask you.. how many kills do you get on average with trapper?

  • I expect a buff to reassurance to 31secs

Running to the hook is a suicide but I guess. If you try to unhook the campee, especially that early in the game, all you're gonna do is just keep trading hooks until you die. Honestly, doing totems and praying for hatch or exit gate is the best bet.

Yes, ######### is the best strategy against facecampers now.

How are they securing gens if they are facecamping? gen rushing and facecamping generally end in mutual destruction and a 2k. It basically just becomes an efficiency standoff.

I have 5.000 hours as surv and facecamping doesn’t end in 2k

  • @Slan said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/343983/does-wesker-come-with-a-tunnelling-camping-agreement

Sometimes camping and tunnelling is completely justified. If you have 1 gen left and 4 survivors alive, sometimes you need to tunnel someone out of the match. And the archives and rituals sometimes need you to kill. The devs have been trying to convince everyone about these being acceptable strategies, and these strategies have a downside for the killer as well, as they forget about pressure and you can repair a lot. I know it is not funny to be the victim of these strategies, but you should think about the outcome.

And what can do survs if there are more than 1 gen left and only 2 surv alive?

  • @Hoodied said:

One of the issues I had prior to the update is if I needed to wait before unhooking or if I had to do something before unhooking, which is what this perk has gifted me with as instead of hoping the survivor I am gonna unhook happens to have Kinship/camaraderie, my only issue is that I have to be in stick poking distance of a survivor to use the perk, my only hope is that it gets a distance increase or something

Devs don’t care about survs, sorry

  • @My_Aespa said:

Idk why people haven't learned by now that if a killer is face camping and is not moving... they are literally giving you time to do gens. Stop giving the killer an opportunity for more kills. Camping's not gonna go away anytime soon so idk what you think these kinds of posts are gonna do now that they haven't done in the past few years.

Sorry, but I disagree. Yo can’t finish the gens against a face camper, so the best move is run to the hook asap, ######### and find another match

  • @EvilSerje said:

I think the next smart move would be to remove all exhaustion perks, built-in BT and increase gen repair time to 5 minutes. Yay! Thank god Reassurance was nerfed!

My bad, the incredibly intelligent survivors that knowingly stay in a 20m range against a Nurse with Infectious and Starstruck.

What is you escape rate? Obviously much higher than those less intelligent survivors

  • @SuzuKR said:

It is meant to be a risk. Doing it through the floor is not a risk. Get closer.

Why it’s meant to be a risk? It’s meant to be a surv perk, no a killer perk.

  • @SuzuKR said:

    Ah yes, the perk that…

    1. A survivor can run 26m away during the 3.5s of fatigue (2.5s if survivor misplays for 22m) + 3s to pickup before the killer can even turn around or move. Meaning even a survivor starting 0m from the killer can leave the range before the killer can even move or turn the camera.
    2. Against a killer survivors should be staying split up against regardless of build, which applies to every single killer except Twins.
    3. Can be countered by hopping in a locker for a little bit until the killer hooks them even if you’re in a corner of the map and can’t run out.

I’m sorry, were you actually being serious or did you genuinely think a 7200h Nurse main that played competitive semi-frequently going against pub lobbies and winning proves anything?

Agreed, nurse is totally fine and every killer perk should be broken. In fact 1 survs in this video escape using the hatch.

'Perfect' will always be the enemy of 'better'.

Hell, even a year ago there were still tons of spots where you couldn't pick people up, for one - and maps still had pseudo-infinites.

Agreed, for killer mains of course.

People should probably just stop complaining. If you want any real change to happen with the game then stop spending money or stop playing its as simple as that. If BHVR saw the player base drop in half, because lets be honest most of the player base is soloq, then changes might actually happen. People have said millions of times that BHVR does not give a crap about the community or anything that we say. The only way things will change is to show them that the players are done just sitting around waiting. Go play something different or just stop spending money on the game and things will get done.

That’s exactly what I have done

    Reassurance is useless

    This is the topic.

Congratulations you found a way it might be useful in SWF

I've consistently gotten value from it in solo queue since yesterday. You didn't say it wasn't good. You said it was useless. I don't get value every game, but that's a good thing? I don't get value from OTR if the killer doesn't tunnel me at all. That doesn't make the perk "useless". Reassurance isn't as strong as it was on the PTB, but it is far from weak. It literally counters some of the strongest killer strategies in the game.

And... uh... Detective's Hunch is somewhere between decent and good? It's probably the best totem perk in the game. Those have limited applicability which is why it's not better than decent/good, but that's definitely not trash? And if you need to do totems or there are Hexes present, it's very strong.

Maybe you just don't know what the word useless or trash mean? Or you think that all perks other than old Dead Hard are trash? Or you're still learning the general flow of the game?

I have more than 5000 hours as survivor. This perk is trash

  • @Nos37 said:

Reassurance was changed so that players in the struggle phase could not be kept on the hook indefinitely against their will, yet that is exactly what survivors are still able to do without any perks needed. They can spam the Unhook interaction to pause your struggle progress.

    Please fix.

That wasn’t the reason, it was the excuse

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3162167#Comment_3162167

Survivors are allowed to play in any manner they can "get away with". But what they are not allowed to do is make a decision to finish gens before rescuing friends and then get mad at the killer that just lost 1-2 gens and is now defending a hook instead of giving away a free unhook. In the instance of gens before friends - you made your choice.

Agreed. Killers don’t deserve to lost any gen

DBD Stranger things part 2 ideas

    Ability:

    Passive:The Curse Of Vecna

It’s similar to the dream world from Freddy but instead of basic attacks putting down clocks puts them in the trance

Main: You can place clock traps down so whenever a survivor triggers them they scream then go into a trance like state and they get 2% action speed penalty but for the obsession they get a 3% penalty, when they get hit they snap out of the trance and they get hemorrhage along with it

Mori: for the basic built in mori on the screen of the survivor getting mori’d screen and vecnas screen vecna is grabbing their head and jamming his fingers into their eyes (like in the series) but on the survivors that aren’t getting mori’d screen vecna is standing with his head tilted at a 45 degree angle watching the survivor while the survivor has the animation of the sadako mori but their jaw breaks and they are bleeding from the eyes, but for the offering mori he scratches the survivors face and uses pieces of a broken hook with telekinesis to jam them into the survivors heart, lungs and brain and then opens a portal to the upside down and throws them through the portal.

Weapon: Vecnas body was modified when he got pulled into the entities dimension his abilities and body was modified during the transportation

Vecnas claw is now on his right hand instead of his left and he uses his left hand to summon clocks

    Perks

The wanderer: whenever a survivor gets downed by any means, the wanderer activates, the generator with the most progress explodes and gets blocked by the entity as well as any pallets nearby for 5/7/9 seconds.

Chrissy’s Demise: Whenever a survivor is hooked all other survivors get the hindered effect and they can only slow vault any vault locations for 30/60/90 seconds.

Grudge For Eleven: Whenever your obsession stuns you by any means they get a action speed penalty, and the

oblivious effect for 15/20/25 seconds while the killer gets the undetectable buff for the same time as the survivors negative effect

    Addons:

Faster movement speed after injuring or downing a survivor while they are condemned level _

    Able to carry more clocks

    Faster clock placement

Clocks inflict the hindered effect when triggered

Instead of a survivor screaming they are afflicted with the broken effect when they are injured or downed and if they are healthy next time they are injured or instantly downed they are then afflicted with broken

    Lore:

Henry Creel More commonly known as 001   Or “vecna” Had just manipulated Eleven into pulling out his tracker chip that also nullifies his powers and now he was massacring all the children in the Hawkins lab but Eleven Had walked into the rainbow room while he was killing one last child before eleven confronted him. Both him and eleven started a battle of telekineses and he started winning but eleven managed to use her anger to overpower Henry which he got thrown against a wall and eleven “disintegrated” him opening a portal to the upside down. After a few days of wandering he encountered a cloud of particles that are nearly alive so Henry managed to shape them into a spider and he became the primary organism of the upside down hive mind.

Years later Vecna was fighting eleven in max’s trance but he was losing badly, Luckily he managed to turn the fight to his side and beat eleven then made her watch as he was about to kill max but he noticed a black mist engulfing but then he noticed something was different… He was less powerful and felt as if someone or something was watching him while knowing it was more powerful than him and his surroundings looked changed, He was in the entities realm and the only way to survive was to do the entities bidding.

    Survivor:

    Maxine Hargrove

    Perks:

    Survival:

After Fully healing You get immunity to the haemorrhaged, Hindered, And deep wound effects for 15/30/45 Seconds or until injured.

    Escapist:

Whenever you escape the killer by any means your scratch marks are visible for 2/2.5/3 seconds less.

    Lockpick artist:

Unlocking chests is 10/15/20% faster when not in chase but when in a 5 meter range of the killer it’s the normal unlocking speed

    Lore:

After nearly becoming victim to vecna killing her max started getting engulfed by a dark mist and she started having a panic attack but then tried to calmed down realising that vecna was walking towards her so she got up and started running deeper into the dark mist.

If there’s something you think I should change just let me know in the discussion.

Why always survs deserve trash perks?

1 2 3 4 … 23
