Umm This patch was mainly bug fixes and few changes to pyramid head that dont affect you unless you're a tunnler or camper
tunneling is the best thing PH could do. Now he is useless

It kinda is though? Generally speaking people will end up saving before you even have a chance to get over to the cage proper. All this does is discourage people from running straight over to a cage to tunnel/facecamp someone. If you use your brain, and I know that's hard for a lot of you around here, you can still determine a lot of information just by how the cage mechanic works and where the loud noise indicator goes off.
I'd much prefer that they just fix the facecamp issue and make hook perks work in cages, but this change is fine too. Deal with it.
No it's trash, they introduce a killer who is designed for tunneling and now they make him bad at what he is supposed to do.

Did I tell you to hook everyone twice before killing? No I did not
You do realize that you're gonna find him again later on in the match right?
If you love tunnling so much then dont use the cages --__--
"Don't use cages"
Cages are his damn power. If I can't use them they are indeed useless

You're forgetting that just last patch they fixed the loud noise indicator for cage saves.
Not a big deal though

No, No it's not.
This change is to stop camping PH players like yourself.
If you're complaining about not knowing where survivors are at then run bbq? Oh wait I thought majority of killers already ran it.
FYI BBQ dosn't works with cages
-
@Respectfulnancymain said:
How about you cage a survivor and then go patrol gens instead of going back to the cage to tunnel him?
Because as a killer, you have to kill as soon as possible. Hooking everyone 2 times before killing is the worst tactic possible.
-
Simple. Don't get caught in the first place
-
Who cares? Play how you want to, there's nothing bad about tunneling. Your goal is to kill.
-
Big survivor brain time. That's the whole point of the cage, Einstein. Countering survivors meta perks. L2P without these crutches
-
That's the point of this killer, deal with it and learn to play without it. If you are not tormented he can't cage you

Cheryl is the main character and protag of Silent Hill 3 which is who came with the DLC. A legendary skin for Cheryl changes her so you now play as Lisa Garland instead of Cheryl Mason.
Oh ok thanks
-
"Pyramid head has no counterplay, it's a 50/50"
Spirit : "let me introduce myself"

A killer who can't even know where he put a survivor? Are you serious? Or just an entitled survivor main ?

@DetailedDetriment said:
Pyramid Head only has one thing, and it's tunneling.
As a PH main I approve this

Lisa Garland! One of the main characters of Silent Hill 1
I thought his name was Cheryl
-
Who is Lisa exactly? Apart from the hag
-
Crying survivors cry when their crutch perks get countered
-
@Mooshroome64 said:
This seems to be the theme with addons for quite a few killers, Hag as well is a noticable one. Brown - green are buffs to different aspects and then red and purple mostly change how things function or offer completely unique effects. Unfortunately the effects chosen for most of Pyramid Head's addons aren't the strongest so it doesn't work as well.
They could have made more fun things like exposed effect or something
-
I did surprisingly well in this map as the new killer. It's easy to torment survivors. But I agree, the amount of time required to catch up to a survivor who is running in hallways is just insane. The worst thing is there's no way to fix that.

This doesn’t make sense... Maybe if the wording was accurate then it wouldn’t have to be a question. You clearly just have a salty taste in your mouth about being killer.
Hum, I'm not the one asking for nerfs, for me it's fine as it is. I'll be salty when he'll be nerfed to the ground because the devs listened to cry babies

I mean, this is a forum.
Provided they follow it's rules, people can say what they will. You can't just tell them not to because you don't like seeing it.
By the same token if you want to say that Pyramid Head's kit doesn't support tunnelling or talk about what makes the new chapter good, you're free to too; regardless of whether people dislike seeing it.
He's right, this forum is a nest of entitled survivors who always ask for nerfs

Doesnt change that moris require a hook (which the cage is not) hes saying that he got normal morid (like ebony or ivory) after getting put in a cage (which is not a hook). Read moris description if you dont believe it.
I thought he meant the final judgement. Anyway, caging counts as a hook stage, so it's logical

To make no sense?
To counter well known meta perks that are overused by survivors. When I see all survivors complaining about him I realize you rely way too much on these.

Yeah I think that’s why I was so confused lol can’t use anything that correlates to hooks from survivor or killer side but can still mori 😂 Makes no sense.
It's the whole point of this killer.
-
Tunneling is totally fine. It's a legit strat, but survivors always complain about it, even though no one ask them to play in a certain way.
-

I had a good fun time with him, i played him for hours and hours and i had only 2 games where i " lost " , one because it was a SWF who put map offering for ormond , amazing map btw, and the second time it was a 3-man SWF who put offering for haddonfield, another fun map to play on
Yeah he's a strong killer, I won almost all my games today. I usually torment a survivor, hook him, cage him, and then re-hook him : good bye
-
The only thing which is disgusting is the fact he can stand in front of the cage and block it. But it's power is totally fine. You survivors rely way too much on DS and BT. Learn to safely unhook instead of doing it in front of him

learn what is a crutch perk, 32 posts guy. and stop saying "git gud" to people if you don't want to make a new profile again.
Definition from the dictionary :
Crutch : something that provides help and support and that you depend on, often too much.
-
That's what happen when you rely too much on some crutch perks. Git gud
Edit : i'm responding to the first guy who answered

What do you base that on?
Survivors friend lists
-
Don't try to follow survivors rules. Play like you want to play. Even if you have to slug, camp or tunnel.
-
@Bovinity said:
People always forgetting that on some platforms it's really fast and easy to check if a group is a SWF or not. (On PC, at least)
What's weird to me is how many SWF's will go on denying it even when I can see their friends list. Or how many people on forums insist that they would never do things like communicate.
It's ok, guys. Everyone does it. 😁
It's not as easy as it used to, before they implement dedicated servers
-
@Seanzu said:
It's not even hate dude, it's just a lot of the members here even when playing solo have been accused of SWFing, it happens all the time and while you're making your life easier which is fair enough the majority of the time you're just tunnel mori'ing solo queues so good on you, lol.
LOL dude, most of my games in red ranks are against swf.
-
Leave us alone. We already lost our p2p lobbies, now we don't know when survivors are swf, and you want killers to be nerfed even more
-
For the 360, make a simple m1 attack. The auto aim should do the job
-
She takes skill and practice
-
I really wish they will leave the killer as he is, because h's fine, but survivors mains will cry about not being able to use DS, BT... And once enough people will have bought the DLC, they will nerf the hell out of him.
-
@Raccoon said:
His long range attack is so easy to doge, it may as well be non-existent.
He's like the huntress, what's good is that you can cut loops. I love him
-
I play nurse, and not for fun. I mean, in red ranks, if I try to play chill, I get destroyed, so I have to sweat as hell
-
@OniWantsYourMacaroni said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/154966/nerf-swf
I think many people extremely overestimate SWF.Sure coordinated SWF are really really strong but they are very very rare too.
Most SWF are just a chill group of friends.
The only way to handly SWF is to buff solo survivors to a level that is similiar to SWF and then buff killers accordingly.
It's a pvp game. Some players are chill, but many of them will sweat. And they should balance the game arround these ones. You can't balance a game arround casual players
-

I don't know if I agree. SWFs aren't always guaranteed to be god tier players. It helps them, but it's not a guarantee that they're great at communication.
No matter how good they are, they will always perform a lot better in swf.
-
@Lavos99z said:
I disagree that there should be a penalty for that. I think there SHOULD be adjustment based on if they're together or not (like it is slightly easier to rank for the killer, for example). I think there should also be a display indicator that tells the killer who is in a group together. Perhaps BHVR will get the idea soon enough.
Yeah, some info would be good. But it wouldn't change the fact it's unbalanced
-

What's really funny is I shot this idea to tru3 too, and he said it would be a great idea but they would never implement something like that. So BHVR let's prove him wrong, what do you say?
Devs are too afraid doing anything against survivor mains
-
Play nurse
-
Get over it. Survivors can teabag as well. Move on.

I’ll go through what I disagree and what I don’t mention I agree with. I’m also going to add an E tier to the list and remove SS.
- I would Spirit to the right of Nurse as at this point with add ons Spirit is on the same level.
- I would swap Billy and Hag. Hag is very powerful but she needs to set up and she doesn’t have as much map pressure as Billy.
- Huntress goes into B tier for me. There’s just a ton of stuff survivors can do to abuse her but in the right hands she’s still a monster.
- I would put Plague down to C tier. Nowadays she just gets cleanse rushed and ends up with little power by the time she can do something.
- Trapper goes down to D for me. He has a very weak early game and he mostly depends of survivor mistakes to win.
- Pig is C tier. I think she has a lot of potential but she usually downs survivors pretty slowly.
- Freddy should be low A tier for sure below ONI and Hag. He has so many tools to his disposal.
- Legion goes down to D tier for me. He can keep people injured but as long as they don’t heal, he basically becomes a 115 killer with no power.
- Doctor goes up to mid B tier for me. He’s capable of shutting down most loops in the game and he also slows down the game a bit with his madness.
- Clown goes to E tier for me. The worst killer in the game in my opinion. The only thing he can do is be slightly more effective at certain loops but he has 0 map pressure and 0 mobility. Chases still take a long time to finish as well.
- Demo goes up to low B for me. His portals allow him to traverse the map quickly and his shred has tons of potential in chases.
- Ghostface goes up to high B for me. I think your grossly underrating him. He has a powerful insta down, the ability to turn off terror radius and the ability to crouch. All these combined make him the best stealth killer in my opinion.
- Id put Bubba up to C tier since he has potential with nemesis + PWYF combo.
Thats about it so my list would look like
S: Nurse, Spirit
A: Billy, Hag, ONI, Freddy
B: Ghostface, Huntress, Doctor, Myers, Demo, Deathslinger
C: Pig, Plague, Bubba
D: Legion, Wraith, Trapper
E: Clown
Agreed 100%
-
Too many red rank survivors and simply not enough red rank killers. That's the problem. Maybe they should make the game more enjoyable for killer at high ranks.
-
Devs already nerfed her, so she will not be nerfed again for a while
