theres plenty of good killer outfits, the very good ones have entirely new sounds and voicelines along with new animations.

Probably a better idea, is not making 10+ movies in a franchise that doesn't have that much story to tell. Saw isn't some epic story like LotR or Star Wars. It should have just stayed 3 movies.
infinitely repeatable concepts are doomed to be infinitely repeated, thanks hollywood

I think bleedout shouldnt be 4 minutes. It should be as long as a hook stage. So 2 full minutes on a hook, and 2 full minutes on the floor.
This would give survivors a sense of urgency in which they can’t leave their teammates somewhere. Killers cannot hold survivors hostage. 4 minutes is way too long.
Buff Tenacity, and Unbreakable. So that the timer is slowed. For tenacity as long as you crawl the timer is slowed. Making it 4 minutes. Unbreakable the bleed timer stops as long as you’re recovering yourself.
Killers get no additional BP for survivors dying that way.
this would do nothing but make bleedout builds more efficient.
-
its fine as is. Its not only slowdown but a good time saver from kicking gens etc.

Wesker is great and all but a good billy is easily the most fun in all of dbd. dodging/baiting him into curves while he does the same is just too good.

The Wraith build proved suprisingly effective against a group that started teabagging me the second I first went after them. 4k at 4 gens left. Next up is Doctor!

That's a good one. I'll do that once I have the Trick Blades addon again. I didn't level this killer once since the prestige rework.

The best I managed in the past was a 3k. But I'm happy to try again. Let's prove how overpowered Nurse is, when you can get a 4k without using her power!
for the nurse challenge I reccomend bring coup+pwyf as the core build

Sure but perks that only work against bad players are questionable design sooooo...
yeah thats true but OP's suggestion would just make it worthless entirely. Overcharge currently has its niche in anti skillcheck builds. Which are very niche, but its something at the very least. it should be reworked but not like that.
-
skill issue =/= bad perk design, new players not being able to hit skill checks is not overcharges fault.
-
Get a 4k as nurse without blinking, no matchbox/spasmodic breath

Theres just not enough actually good artist players out there so everyone ends up dealing with mid artist players who can really only force holding W.

a good artist is so much fun to play against. Sure you hold W a sizeable amount but the mindgames with the birds makes it so engaging.

A luxury Killers have is, they don't have team mates who can ruin things and mess things up for you, and some do it on purpose as well, esp if you are solo in a swf match, is like yeah gee thanks team for leaving me on a hook, not bothering to help and just ruining things, I am all for having fun etc, but comes a point at times that survs take the piss, I miss my swf squad!
thats like the main reason I play killer more than survivor. everything that happens is dependant on me vs them, not me vs them vs my teammates. Theres way fewer things that are 100% out of your control on the killer side of things for the most part. I.E. I can always just leave chase if they go to main building, whereas I cant just get off the hook if my teammates arent saving me. is so much less frustrating.

more stuff like the nostromo gas please

I understand being upset about tunneling/slugging builds etc but its unreasonable to complain about killers playing the game normally during an event.

I like some of the ideas presented but I dislike their implementation. The idea of a side objective is good, but reducing gen times permanently is bad even if we increase gen times. At that point its not really a side objective, its just a necessity you need to get out of the way to win. If a secondary objective were to be added it shouldnt effect generators otherwise its essentially just more gens.
Maps definitely need to be changed
I dont think there should be more tall wall loops. having oneof each type per map means theres not a crazy amount of super strong loops while also creating destinations to reach in chase instead of just running away. Filler pallets have their place as a resource to managed, tall walls have their place as being high priority loops.
As for killer balance, nurse does not need a full rework or any changes to her blinks. she needs additions to her kit that add counterplay, like bringing back stun-fatigue and lightburn. gut blight addons yadda yadda.
I dislike making perks basekit in general but I like the motivation behind their addition. BBQ to encourage leaving the hook and chasing multiple survivors, and ds to make tunneling not exist. but as I said im generally against basekit perks.

This is just a mistimed lunge. If you had waited for him to be animation locked or just lunged a little later he'd have gone down. An actual speed hacker wouldnt let themselves be in that scenario.
-
Their ridiculous and have no place as long as maps can decide the outcome of a match. I had like 20 dead dawg offerings stacked up on my blight and decided to see if I could get a winstreak with them, and I did. I'm like, an average blight at best. map offerings should go.
-
great, that way the killer can be put into even more uncounterable scenarios. but this time, as basekit!
-
Remove the 4%, does more harm than good and its not such a crucial game mechanic that its worth trying to rework to keep it while removing its bad parts. DC's should be punished as much as they are. Bots exist to give the teammates of quitters a chance, not for the quitter to leave more often.

Everyone knows that "just use so-and-so perk" isn't the solution. In fact, I DID run Soul Guard for a while after this, and guess what? I haven't had any Killers slug me like that since, making it a wasted perk slot.
so.... clearly its not a problem if running perks specifically designed to counter it is unnecessary.

I would not put infection to 0 upon hook as this would be a free first aid spray. It should be at 1/100 charges so you have the full duration till you get slowed. This would be about the equivalent to OTR's duration, which is enough.
Sorry for the confusion, thats what I meant. Dropping to 0 referred to the timer resetting though I could worded it better.
-
4 second stun and or sets powers on cooldown when used seems like a good buff.
-
Huntress and deathslinger have a lower speed and a more punishing power because its availability is not controlled by survivors. Xenomorphs power needs to be as oppressive as it is because survivors can completely remove it. Xeno is designed around absolutes, either he dominates you in chase with his extremely powerful tail or he has no power at all. It fluctuates throughout a match but thats the overall idea.
-
The only nerf h needs is for infection to drop to 0 on hook and/or not progress until you do a conspicuous action. when it comes to cooldown and punishment of his power thats pretty balanced . His only real fallback is the second token which while being textbook second chance, is equally as hard to land and is doubly punishing for a miss. Also unless he throws you then his cooldown is 6 seconds per token (a throw starts the cooldown when you leave his grasp, so it essentially happens 3 seconds sooner).

their referring to map mobility, which is important because hers is really nothing special on the majority of maps. meawhile many say she crosses the map in an instant and needs it nerfed etc etc. Nurse has the strongest chase but the weakest map mobility (for most maps, delete midwich)

We're saying the same thing though, that as survivors you don't get enough BP even if you well.
But as killer you'll get more BP than survivors majority of time.
exactly, survivor needs more reliable ways of getting amounts of BP that arent just escaping and sitting on gens.

It's not always that straight forward since you can only grab a tape from a tv that's on.
grab one at the start of the match, at any other time you can see nearby TVs.

You could do 4 gens and escape and you'd get at most 20k. It really sucks that you can reach max points on a certain emblem and not get anything extra after that point.
yeah but if I load up on blight I'm guaranteed 30k as long as I dont throw lol. super uneven.

Dredge's Nightfall
Visual heartbeat system
Doc's old visual effects
Onryo's current visual effects
Puking with Plague
It's pointless and disingenuous to try and call out only one side for asking for accessibility changes.
they should totally add and option for people to make plague use a water gun instead of her esophagus to down you

Tbh, if you specialized in one thing as survivor (doing gens or being in gens all game) the BP gains are abysmal.
agreed, I dropped my all rounder build in favor of a more support and utility oriented one because soloQ teammates can group up to heal or coordinate risky plays. Its deli, we'll make it, empathy and mft though Im considering switch it out for SB since the 10s endurance doenst often come into play, which was the main reason i chose it for this build. My healing points are hella good but everything else is absolute zero.

people like you are the reason i made this post. why does one of the most oppressive powers in the game get a pass for reasons like skill or she has cooldown. THE OTHER KILLERS DONT HAVE THAT ???? bruh
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3565592#Comment_3565592
it would be a fair nerf. why does blight/nurse or even huntress have to go for the slow m1 to get value from Devour or Noed. when spirit can do it so freely? i feel like the past nerf kind of blinded people on her still lingering issues. nerf did nothing to how powerful she is hella strong still
because its one of if not the longest cooldown in the game while completely removing one of your five senses and forcing you to rely solely on hearing and gamesense. I wouldnt even say its that "oppressive" of a power, its good but oppressive is the wrong word. Powerful yes, but its not like spirit is just downing you with nothing you can do.
-
Finding survivors is the most boring part of killer gameplay, I welcome ultimate weapons reign😈
jokes aside it should have a 1m cooldown or gain a token on hooking a survivor.
-
I like the idea of MFT getting you out of a deadzone safely after you were hit, however overcome fills this role quite nicely.

1- She can see scratch marks and hear voices with headphone. even a monkey can know where they survivor is
2- she has addons of low rarity that literally tells her the exact location of the survivor when near them
3- she has 2 addons that make her get her power back instantly. either be stuned or break a pallet.
4- she has a green addon that recovers her power by 40% faster.
5- she can come out of phase and hit you before you have a chance to dtop the pallet at the correct side
6- tell me you dont know what you talking about without telling me you dont know what you talking about......
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3565579#Comment_3565579
i dont even know if you are trolling or not. i am assuming you are trolling for our sanity
1 - scratch marks are delayed and unreliable for exact positioning, something spirit needs anywhere that isnt a deadzone. Good spirits use grunts of pain, which you mentioned.
2 - cherry blossom is not low rarity, it is purple. Good spirits dont need this addon and in fact find it to be a detriment because they cant use scratch marks to get a general location. Cherry blossom is only useful in deadzones or when the survivor leaves the loop when she starts phasing. Anywhere else and it will not affect typical spirit mindgames.
3 - Both of those addons are seen as mediocre or bad. Kintusgi is quality of life at best, to regain your power a few seconds quicker when you overextended your phase at a loop and lost the mindgame. In that situation it can be good, but a good spirit should never be overextending to the point that they use their whole phase when playing a simple pallet loop. if it worked like alchemists ring, it would be an issue, but it does not. And the one on stun is pointless because you should be avoiding getting stunned in phase, and most survivors will just predrop or camp the pallet out of confusion.
4 - the green recharge addon drops her total cooldown from 15 to 9. I dont know how cooldown is calculated when not fully depleted so I won't bring that up here. Thats too powerful of an effect and should be nerfed 30/25%. Still, a 9 second cooldown is sizeable compared to blight and nurse who will have 10 and 6 second cooldowns maximum without addons.
5 - That ones a skill issue. Spirit is predicated around mindgames. If you accurately predict her then you win the loop and move on. You dont and you get hit. She isnt fast enough to hit you during the drop unless you are playing based on reaction, not prediction. Therefore it stands to reason that you should not be able to deny her power value if you aren't playing around it skillfully.
6 - This is unclear as I didnt number my original comment, and this response is non specific. I will assume that it is referring to her built in downsides and how I believe limiting her perk choice would be too far. She is a 110% killer, an inherently huge downside considering she isnt a ranged killer. She absolutely requires her power to get downs in any sort of manageable timeframe, especially in this meta. her cooldown is very large, possibly the largest in the game if im not mistaken. Leaving the loop is some of her best counterplay in a lot of situations because if done right, she will use a significant chunk of her power and be on cooldown for a sizeable time; a large downside considering her power is necessary for playability. Unlike blight, you can just use phase for map mobility and play m1 in chase and do an alright enough job. Her being 110% automatically makes that nonviable. And not being able to see survivors is an especially large downside. They cant see her either, but they have a permanent large area in which they can get a general idea of where shes coming from. Aside from relatively unreliable scratch marks, spirit has nothing but prediction and mindgames to hit healthy survivors. And breathing too if you count that, but I won't because thats some god spirit level stuff. She has a massive power spike when survivors are injured, but she is at a disadvantage while trying to get them injured as she cant just follow their sounds. This is why a lot of spirits run sloppy, because it keeps people injured more making her stronger+slowdown. Compared to nurse and blight she has far more built in limitations to cap her strength, which is why they are special and she is basic.
7 - I think they were referring to starstruck nurse builds, not just regular nurse. I remember before 6.5.0 I heard it was getting removed so naturally I gave it a shot and... its just a free win. Midwich+starstuck build is just a winstreak button. Spirit cannot utilize it the same way, especially due to the aforementioned disadvantage when chasing healthy survivors.

And yet, if MfT is truly a problem, then a 3% speed boost directly and completely counters it.
In fact, bloodlust is free and more than counters the 3% bonus. So do a large number of killer powers.
I'm just convinced at this point that there are an insane number of killers who have no idea how to use the killer base kit at all and the only 'skill' is bitching for nerfs on the forums.
The sad part is the bitching works to nerf a ton of stuff, and the sadder part is that it never solves the skill issue so the goal post moves every time to the next 'hUgE IsSuE' and the cycle continues.
Bloodlust: 5%, takes around 16s per stack, goes away on hit, goes away on kicking pallets, goes away on using power.
MFT: 3% permanently no wind up no deactivation just be injured and chase 20% longer
Im just convinced at this point there are an insane number of survivor players who have no idea how the game functions on a fundamental level and that just because bloodlust is 5% haste doesnt automatically make mft balanced in any way.
There are only 4 or 5 killer powers that counter mft. I'd say nurse, blight, spirit, clown and skull merchant. Nurse blinks dont care how fast you're moving, but mft does double your distance gain. A good blight can use his power anywhere and get a hit. Spirit as well. Clown hinders and hastes making mft relatively irrelevant. SM has built in haste/hinder. Literally anyone else in the roster has nothing. Every killer but the top 3 has areas where their power wont get value from using it, so you dont. Therefore in those scenarios they function as an M1 killer and deal with mft as such.
it baffles me the logical leaps you'll make to call mft balanced.
-
buff survivor bp in general. Its not fair that I, the killer, can get a 2k/tie and still have like 30k while the dead will barely manage 10k regardless of anything they contributed to the escapees.
