The Demogorgon.
I think they gave up cool one word "the titles" when they made "the ghost face" instead of "the ghost." I was greatly disappointed lol
Yeah, The Ghost Face is so goofy.

Bhvr will actually come to your house and shame you for doing this. But they won't ban you. They just want you to think about what you've done.

It can be a little frustrating tho, if you’ve run them around the entire game only to suddenly be knocked in one hit. Then they secure the kill cuz everyone else usually escapes.
Yeah it can definitely be frustrating but I try to look like "they needed multiple methods of instadowns to be able to get me" and consider it a compliment.
I've seen killers with Make Your Choice, NOED and Devour Hope. Yikes.
-
I also LOL when I run into a Billy or Nurse with NOED. It's adorable.

Glad you were able to get that off your chest.

Not everyone has 32 Ranger Med-kits with instaheals lol
Why would you use an instaheal on a purple medkit?

If the killer camps so hard that an unhook is not possible, it's still more time-efficient for the survivors to repair the gen together.
The occasions where this perk would actually be useful are so, so rare that it just doesn't make sense to run this perk.
I'm not arguing it's worth carrying lol, just saying it's not completely useless and with some kind of tweaks it could actually be pretty decent. I doubt they'll buff it though.
-
@NoShinyPony said:
@brokedownpalace If the killer camps hard, the time is better spent doing gens instead of running to the hook to trigger Camaraderie.
Kind of depends on how close you are to the hook and a lot of other things, doesn't it? One gen left, survivor is about to die on hook. One stays to finish the gen, one runs over to the hook to pause the timer, one goes to open the exit gate.
Never said it was a good perk, but it has its uses.
-
"As far as I can see this entire perk seems to exist only to help save your life if Nea misjudges how much time she has to get to you before you get Sacrificed."
I think that's generally correct. It could also force a camping killer to waste even more time, too.
-
Just walking when not injured, I believe. Would be too strong to apply to running lol

The new survivor perks are Nice, they're not too strong but compliment other existing perks that they can make some nice new builds.
The Killer perks on the other hand I don't think you'll see much of considering there's much better perks you can run. I was really hoping for some perks to shift the meta but I guess not.
Surge is nice but the 32m range and 40 second cool down limits it to the point where you'd be better bringing Pop since you have to down a survivor anyway and it'll probably most times only effect one generator as well. Pop doesn't require a basic attack down either.
Cruel Confinement again a nice Idea but at most It'll get you 1 maybe 2 free hits if you're close by to the area where the generator pops and know where the survivors are. Very Situational.
Mindbreaker is okay to slow down the timer on exhaustion perks but again very situational.
As I believe Peanits pointed out if you're downing multiple survivors within a 40 second span then you're doing very well already. Surge is just the icing on the cake. There are also often 2 or 3 gens within a 32m radius
Calling Cruel Confinement situational is odd. Generators bring completed is a pretty common occurrence. Comradarie is an example of a very situational perk.
-
Inner Strength means you're idle for 8 seconds instead of 12-40. Not sure why you don't see that as an improvement.
Babysitter complements BT. It helps them get away and then BT is like insurance in case the killer finds them anyway. Also consider that when you unhook the survivor with both, if the killer is standing near the hook waiting to immediately down the survivor again, that survivor gets Endurance and then they can more easily escape with no blood trail or scratch marks while the killer wipes their weapon. If that survivor has Sprint Burst they can get even further.
-
It is supposed to symbolize the pointlessness of life. That is what the Entity wants. 🧐

Would just become a Lets go AFK mechanic then.
Who cares? If someone goes AFK then they risk getting downed when they're unhooked. That's their problem.

Any time a killer is released people say ######### like this. It's better to just ignore it.

If the hatch didn't exist I can guarantee you DCing would increase tenfold or people would suicide on hook if there was even a hint of all 5 generators not getting done. Solo survivor in particular would be a miserable experience without the hatch.
Why don't you just be happy with your 3k? You won.

If the killer is already there then unbreakable is gonna be useless, flip-flop will likely only work if you’re in a corner but the killer can just slug camp you, boil over is a wasted perk slot. DS is the only one that could really help you there.
There are situations where perks could save you, though. Especially if you get downed running to the open exit and the hook closest to the exit has been used. Boil Over being weak is not a good reason to remove one of the few situations where it could help you.
Adding built in cypress Mori would close off a bunch of potential hail Mary plays but it would realistically only make the game end like 5 to 15 seconds sooner. I don't think it's a good trade off.

@Peanits since this is out of the question, do you think we could ever get cypress mori as basekit? Since the last survivor will probably die anyway.
I think there's a difference between the game being over when you're hooked and the game being over when you're downed. What about survivors who have DS, Boil Over, Flip Flop, Unbreakable, or the hook is far away? I feel like built in cypress is just hand holding, personally.

I'm just basing this off evidence, I want to be wrong. If anything if i'm wrong then ######### yeah :) if I'm right, then I'll wait to see if the community is too high on fan fare to care or not.
Also I'd like to share this quote with you that sums up how I approach these situations
You could wait literally less than a day rather than spreading unnecessary negativity based on next to no information.

Doesn't sound like anything new is being brought to the table here. Same talking points as always.
I regularly get my ass handed to me by Trappers, Wraiths, Pigs. I regularly run Billies, Nurses and Spirits around for multiple gens. The inverse is true as well.
Wraith is my favorite killer to play as.
I play this game because I enjoy it. What about you?

So far you said that you would use botany knowledge if it slow or stop bleeding (but let's be honest there, what use of it if you still can be tracked by blood, so we're saying it stops bleeding). Did you imply after healing (because that's a point a perk) or actually passively (activating instantly/on demand)? Also you said there is no point in a perk with ani-bleed if you also groan in a process.
I can't understand some of what you're saying but no I did not say there is no point in an anti bleeding perk if you still moan in pain. I said if you use No Mither for its antibleeding then you need to take Iron Will because No Mither means you will be moaning in pain 100% of the game.
Sorry but I don't want to have to keep correcting things you have misunderstood and reiterating points I already made so I'll be leaving this discussion.

instacough-cough
Anyway, so basically you want a perk that permanently removes bleeding from the beginning, or activates immediately when demanded? Preferably also removing groans and scratch marks?
I'd suggest reading my other comments because I've already addressed the second half of your comment.
As for instas.. they are rare, one time use and should be nerfed. That's like telling a killer to bring a Mori if he's struggling to get any sacrifices. Not a realistic or helpful solution.
-
@avilmask said:
I actually know one cool perk idea.
Healing: stops bleeding after being healed.
Seriosuly, though. All bleeding perks of a killer work only when survs are injured and countered by not being injured. I guess in current meta healing is too much work to do?
The idea is to help you lose the killer when you're already in a chase. Not sure how healing accomplishes that. 🤔

Here's the problem; blood is a huge way for a Killer to track someone, or see that an injured Survivor is in a locker.
To stop blood pools, the perk is going to have downsides. You're removing one of the best ways to track someone, and some Killers can see blood puddles better for easier tracking.
The perk could make blood disappear faster or just make you bleed less frequently. It doesn't have to completely remove blood. That's why it would be good added to Botany Knowledge. Because by itself simply reducing bleeding isn't worth a perk slot. Combine it with faster healer? I'd say that's worth it.

Remember? Survivors don't get to have decent perks. How foolish of you to think so.
Haha.. imagine if the devs released an anti bleeding perk and the downside was you were always exposed. Who the ######### would carry that?
-
@Locker_Monster said:

...Maybe it's because No Mither gets rid of your bloodstains the second they hit the ground?
Which means it's an anti-bleeding perk?
Kind of funny, you asking for an anti-bleeding perk and being given an anti-bleeding perk. Almost like...people were answering the question....for some reason... Huh. Weird. 🤔
It's pretty obvious that I and others are asking for an anti bleeding perk that doesn't have MASSIVE downsides. Not only that, if you want a stealth build, which is what an anti bleeding perk would be for, you'd need to take Iron Will to not be moaning in pain all the time.
-
"Oh you want a perk that affects bleeding? Bring this perk that gets you downed in one hit and makes injured music play constantly."
That's basically what four separate people felt the need to say for some reason 😅
-
@CakeDuty said:
Would be great if they added it to Botany Knowledge since it already says it "Slows down bleeding". When I was knew I actually thought it did just that. Make the perk an exact counter to Sloppy Butcher as well since it makes you bleed more and makes you take more time to be healed. Botany would heal you faster and make you bleed less.
Yes please. I'd carry Botany in my stealth builds if it was buffed to slow or stop bleeding

They don't, because Microsoft and Sony don't allow two environments of the game. Even Overwatch wasn't able to do their PTRs on consoles. It's also expensive to push updates to consoles.
PUBG has a PTB on both PS4 and XBox. It's basically downloading a separate game though

More perks = more playstyles & fun combos.
That's just it. It's not that big of the deal since gap is not that big yet, but still. I would rather have 50/50 than let's say 60/50. It feels more "balanced" with same number of opportunities (combos) for both sides.
I think quality of perks is more important than quantity. Most perks on both sides are not worth carrying. I'd rather they balance existing perks than worry about making an even amount for each side
-
Well the killers need to follows the Entity's rules

6 survivor perks? Or are they swappable skins like Legion?

Turning left or right is an exploit
-
NOED does not need to discussed ad nauseum. But, just like DS, it will be. Forever.
-
@se05239 said:
It always have been.
The very definition of an exploit is to use something to gain an unfair advantage and in this case, survivors are using their smaller collision boxes to GAIN DISTANCE on killers by pressing themselves closer to objects than a killer can.
Devs don't see it as an exploit and since it's their game they get to define what is and isn't an exploit.

Except it isn't irrelevant. You said "Not everything they add is in response to something" which is untrue. The perks I mentioned were added because of the complaints by the community.
So, you think every perk they add is in response to something? I didn't say NO perks were. I said NOT EVERY.
