I personally love Billy. I love mobility killers, and hitting curves is the most satisfying thing in the game imo. He could be much more enjoyable without overheat tho :(
-
She isn't overpowered, but she really isn't balanced either. Idk, she has her own little grey area that Deathslinger also belongs in. While her power is pretty much uncounterable, she's an M1 killer with a long cooldown.

You can apply the same logic to 90% of meta Survivor perks.
Well said, I completely agree.
-
I shouldn't have to stop playing a killer simply because a survivor doesn't like it.
-
Yeah, his basekit was the perfect example of balance. All they needed to do was give him an addon touchup, but they decided to destroy him instead. He's still strong but feels much worse.
-
My favorites to play against are: Demo, Oni, Blight, Hillbilly
-
Definitely Oni. Hearing Oni charging you down from across the map is a unique form of terrifying
-
my opinion
-
Would be an awesome feature to have, I'd love to be able to see the match from the another player's perspective
-
I would love for this to be permanent, but it may cause issues with BHVR's licenses for the legendary skins. Namely Cheryl, Pyramid, and Legion cosmetics.
-
It's definitely a step in the right direction that they're taking player feedback. Although in the end it's probably not going to do anything.
There was multiple questions about how scary the game was, and not about balance. Kinda seems weird to me.
-
Well they either take an incredibly long time to implement change or just don't. I get it would be annoying but there's massive problems with the game that just get ignored.
-
Getting from Rank 20-1 with killer is gonna be draining. I probably won't even try because the rewards are so minimal. 250K BP? Really? What is that, like, 15 or 20 levels?
-
Rainbow rank matchmaking should never happen. But, there's such a large shortage of killers at any rank that matchmaking has no choice. Hopefully the MMR changes in the midchapter will fix it.
-
I would say anywhere from $1-5k
-
I understand it can be frustrating to be "gen rushed," but it's literally the survivors' objective. Same complaints can be said about camping/tunneling, what about a built in counter to those?
-
Both sides can be equally toxic. It's the community not one side or the other.
-
Pyramid or Oni
-
I played against one yesterday. Was the least fun I have ever had in this game.
-
Chainsaw/Blight rush to where I think the survivors spawned
-
It doesn't really have a large effect on his gameplay, which is good, but like... what is the point? All it does is screws over missing chainsaws (which I do, a lot) and ruins double engravings.
-
While I do think that Spirit needs some changes, this is not one I think would be good. I'm not defending Spirit or anything but sound is pretty much the most important thing in her kit, and robbing her of it would make her significantly worse.
-
I don't mind Phead, and I love Blight. But I absolutely despise Deathslinger. In a chase with a good slinger, there's pretty much nothing you can do. You can't juke a good slinger, he just misses.
-
New tomes and rifts usually come out along with the midchapter. So probably about 2 weeks before the new tome and rift release
-
I usually play killer, but if my friends ask me to play I'll do a swf with them. I play solo very rarely.
-
If your entire team goes down at five gens, you're probably doing something wrong. Just a thought.
-
Favorites:
Hillbilly (I love zooming around the map and curves are sooo satisfying)
Oni (Once again, love zooming and he feels very smooth)
Blight (Drug dealer man, hitting his rushes is fun and I love his sound design)
Least favorite:
Nurse (Never bothered to get good with her, but I absolutely despise her gameplay)
Hag (Cool concept, but having 0 chase potential as a 110% melee killer really sucks)
Clown (Nothing against clown, I just don't really enjoy him)
-
Billy's animations and overheat mechanic.
-
I really hope they turn down the volume a little bit. I love Elodie's design but my god her scream is ear-piercing.
-
In my 1.7k hours, I've seen two cheaters. A speedhacking legacy Nea, and a guy who head on stunned me for the entire game.
-
I was bored
-
They can't just drop everything and fix stuff like this. It's a latency problem, they can't force a killer to have good connection.
-
I'm a killer main.
-
Oni and Billy are my personal favorites. Blight's fun too, but I love having an instadown. Zooming around the map and one shotting survivors is so fun
-
A bit basic, but Hillbilly's P3 looks really good with these pants imo
-
They're just pressing a button on their keyboard. Don't take it personal. They're not trying to attack you, it's really just them being cocky and overconfident. And while bad manners can suck sometimes, it should have no impact on the match.
-
In my opinion, Hillbilly. When I'm facing a good billy that knows how to curve, it's genuinely scary. Sad thing is, I've only gone against one good Hillbilly since his "rework."
-
The new downed animations look really good imo. But the standing and injured running animations look really out of place. It's kinda surprising someone looked at these and were like "Yeah, this is perfect"
-
Clown. I know he's not a strong killer but he's just such a pain to go against. Going slow the whole match and playing every pallet the same way is really boring for me.
-
I only like the new downed animations tbh. The injured running and standing animations look really out of place compared to the others.
-
Haddonfield is licensed property, so they most likely can't change anything major about the layout. I think Coldwind would be the next reworked realm since it's the last of the three base realms.
-
The way they stand perfectly upright looks kinda goofy, same with the injured running animation. It feels... unfinished?
-
I get that being slugged is annoying, but you have the strongest perk in the game to counter it. Besides, at high ranks slugging is pretty much necessary and making it easier to get out of would hurt A LOT of killers.
-
Kinda sad to say but I feel you. Game's been super stale ever since the Twins and the new PTB just made it worse. I'm not gonna quit but I'm taking an indefinite break if this godawful UI goes live.
-
Deathslinger or Clown
-
Urban evasion would be good if you tend to crouch a lot, Calm Spirit stops you from disturbing crows so that could be useful as well. Although overall, Iron Will is a great perk and I'd recommend it
-
Kind of sucks to say but I have to agree. I switch mains a lot so I can learn more killers, but it's simply not fun anymore. Whether I'm playing Oni, Blight, or Billy, I'm just bored.

What build are you running?
Right now I'm using Enduring, Infectious Fright, BBQ & Chili, and Pop

I am not a hillbilly main anymore but used to main him both pre and post buff phase (Rank 1).
It is not a matter how long you have to master him but rather how you spend your time trying to learn him. Watch Pro Hillbilly players from YouTube to learn what you could do better. Watch how they play and try to learn from that. That's the fastest way to grow with any killer. Then it is only a matter of applying what you have learned to use in your own game.
Hillbilly is all about speed. He is the fastest killer able to travel great distances in few seconds, thus perks that give you awareness of where survivors are can make a great difference for hillbilly as he is able to take advantage of that information and go to where other killers would not dare to waste their time to walk.
Also, do not try to force a chainsaw kill. More often than not it can be just as beneficial to just injure the survivor and let them go and go give pressure elsewhere while they waste time healing. Or if not, at least next time they will be easier to down.
Hope you get your Hillbilly game improved, he can be a really powerful and fun killer if you know how to play him right.
Thanks for the advice! I've been watching OhTofu play Billy and taking what he does into my games. I've gotten some curves but I got a long way to go
-
Thanks everyone for the responses. I'll keep playing Billy until I get pretty good, his gameplay is super fun
