No, these are just in a whole another level. If I encounter one of these groups I'll probably stop playing the game.

The video is literally the exact thing you are talking about, also its a game who cares if you get thrashed every now and then while playing as your favorite non nurse or spirit killer just enjoy the games that aren't sweat squads

This recent buff with leather face makes no sense. He was already a known character for camping people. Now you increase his speed and distance with the chainsaw. This makes it easier as a killer but requires no skill and even survivors with experience almost have no chance unless there's a palate or window. Might need to rethink the buff! Not the best update, I honestly am sitting this out until there's a fix.

The buff makes a lot of sense he was terrible and its alright to have a killer that catches you in the open thats literally plauge, myers, ghostface, wraith or any other main m1 killer but he just capitalizes more on it. Maybe just loop him better because his main counter is being prepared and using map resources

  • Purple addons and red addons should just be good either slightly buffing base kit or a large buff which a slight change in playstyle. Not miniture at best almost nerfs with a large change in playstyle and useless red addons aren't the way to make them feel special for their rarity

For the most part, the Entity doesn't like taking survivors from worlds where magic is a widely known phenomenon. I think Kate represents the upper limit for the amount of magical knowledge in a single person that the Entity is willing to abduct. Additionally, it seems that worlds that don't grasp the power of magic are the exception, not the rule.

Societies with little technology will almost always believe in some form of magic as an explanation of the world around them. Most universes in the omniverse go on to codify those rules in their academies of magic. In order to find someone ignorant of magic throughout the omniverse, you would need to find a society that failed to codify these rules, and instead used other methods (conventional physics) to understand the world around them. Think of Kate, whose ancestors absolutely believed in the power of magic, verses Kate herself, who perceived her gift as a "Muse," a much less overtly magical understanding of her gift than the Seer classification of her ancestors.

Even in the advanced parts of our world, the complete disbelief of any kind of magic whatsoever is a recent development. If we're willing to classify religious beliefs that have metaphysical elements as magic, then it's only recently that the general public stopped believing in--for example--demonic possession as being the leading cause of severe mental illness.

It could be argued that it was only after the 1950s (or any given survivor's local techno-cultural equivalent) that people become so completely, irreparably separated from all forms of magic that they became ideal targets for the Entity. This would also be a nifty way to understand why there's no one in the Entity's realm that was born in one of the many modern day villages that still live now the same as they did 3 millennia ago.

This also implies some interesting things about the time periods the Entity grabbed the killers from. It implies that the Entity has a higher tolerance for magical knowledge in its killer servants than its survivor cattle. The Hag and Plague, in particular, explicitly knew about the existence of magic as a concrete force in the world long prior to coming to serve the Entity, and Frank strongly suspected magic's existence. In killers, does the Entity consider knowledge of magic without significant training in magic desirable, even? That's getting too speculative for me, but it's an interesting new question that my explanation raises.

@bjorksnas The Entity grabbed Plague after it grabbed Legion, despite the Plague being thousands of years earlier than the Legion. The Entity exists outside of time and is not be bound by any requirement to only grab survivors from a linear timeline which it must also travel along. In other words, the Entity could grab someone in 2007, wait 3 centuries, and then grab someone from 2004.

It probably takes a lot of energy to move from dimension to dimension and forward and backwards on timelines, my guess is on the dimensions it frequents(idea wise this works because spirit/oni) it just heard a rad tale about aldris and was just like time to change it and take them into my employ and grabbed jane as a snack before heading out to grab plauge.

I’ve found that Legions are typically the friendliest after that would be Pig and GF.

The worst killers are Spirit, Oni, LF and Billy, they’re typically the “try hards” and only play the game to win not to have fun.

    Every other killer falls between.

yes because people who play LF are try hards??

  • Old legion was just not fun, the only legion changes that should occur IF ANY, would be 3 second stun in exchange for removing some of the visual blindness from deep wounds

  • Oni has the strongest power in the game, the downside is you don't have it all the time

  • Claudette it just makes some people angry that I exist, I don't even bother with stealth 90% of the time

Sorry, then. Your previous post confused me. I thought you meant that there should be some exceptions.

The only exception that I feel is ok for an anti tunnel perk is not being disabled when you start being healed but instead when you finish being healed

  • @Голубой said:

It feels like every killer I play against is tunneling, mori-bringing, or face camping. And if I get tired of that and switch to killer, everyone is SWF.

I love this game, but I feel like it's so unplayable on weekends, especially Friday for this reason. And I find it is making me more toxic as a result (which is why I quit league). This is especially true with the d/c penalties gone, I will just d/c instantly because a lot of games are miserable.

It mostly is due to changes to gen speeds people feel and basically have to do that to win most of the time as killer

  • @MadLordJack said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1476212#Comment_1476212

Why not? If I sit down at a gen or totem, I'm clearly not getting tunelled and don't deserve the free objective time that having DS currently brings. And if you're healing near the hook, that's genuinely your mistake. You could have run away and let a teammate take the heat, which is the correct play to avoid being an easy slug.

Yes thats exactly what I mean when you aren't getting tunneled actively you shouldn't have the protection of an anti tunnel perk

  • Honestly I feel that the totem rehide and buff to small game should be its own mid chapter patch,

New small game I feel should work like this to be better team centered both for swf and solo queue

You have the undeniable capability to sense danger.

Reveal the aura when looking in the direction of Totems in a 45° cone within a range of 10/11/12 metres.

Aura is revealed to all survivors until the totem is cleansed

Small Game has a cool-down of 30/30/30 seconds each time it activates.

  • Only if you give a killer the chance to randomly get a mori midgame would I accept more keys outside of survivors just using plunders

  • Honestly I keep all messages on my profile because I think its funny how mad people get over a video game, 31 pages of steam comments at the moment which is around 180 different people being clowns and the other two being someone who asked if I store my cat in a bank and me saying always

lol None of those are second chance perks. Sorry, NONE of those halt the ability for a killer to proceed with his objective.

    Unbreakable alone, hook the survivor.

Soul Guard Alone, hook the survivor.

DS is the only one along with maybe BT.

    Premonition? WHAT!?

    You...you're funny.

and only name 2 that halt a killer's objective. your words not mine, you made fun of 18 and gave me I criteria and I destroyed you with your own poor grasp on most likely your first language, Check mate

Abusing the hitbox standing over where you're not suposed to normally stand over, just like when survivors could use old dead hard to get over boxes from high places and then get banned for it.

Yes because the killer being able to use map knowledge to their advantage is much more criminal then survivors being immortal and killers only choice is to dc to exit the match most of the time

  • The entity feeds off survivor emotion and feelings mostly, Gonna guess that they get drained pretty fast but nothings says no one from that time period doesn't have anything left

So a Hag, waiting for her traps to be set off.

A Spirit reading to phase back.

A Nurse holding her blink to port back.

A Demo waiting to port back.

Have you seen these players with MYC? They immediately race back to the hook to down the unhooker. Yes, it promotes anti-tunneling, but imagine when these are into effect, that DS does not activate when you're within 32 meters.

    I can't even imagine.

so just hook bomb the exact same strategy that makes bt work and all those strats with make your choice not

    lol 18?

I can name off 10 perks that halt a survivor's objective and only name 2 that halt a killer's objective.

It's not my first time defending DS, want me to prove you wrong?

So you want to make this a pissing contest ey lets see if I can name 18

Sprint burst, lithe, deadhard, balanced landing all extend chase halting killer objective, 4

Unbreakable, Soul Guard, No mither all halt slugging which halts killer objective, 7

Decisive Strike Prevents gaining killer objective from recently hooked survivors, 8

Resilience, Dance with me, Quick and quiet, Iron will, calm spirit help make chases last longer preventing killer objective, 13

Premonition, Object of obsession, Spine chill let you run away early which wastes more of the killers time halting killer objectives, 16

Finally Red herring and Diversion divert the killers attention usually when he is looking for someone else to keep at his objective of killing people. 18

Not all arbitrary numbers are just hyperbole, think a little more before posting next time.

  • @MadLordJack said:

There's no point in even suggesting changes tied to chase mechanics. The Devs have said they have no interest in reworking them and that they want killers rewarded for being in a chase, not being rewarded for not being in a chase. Yes, it's dumb, and it genuinely comes across as either lazy or poorly thought-out. (Their main reason is Bloodlust, and yet chases are designed to be easily broken for a microsecond so that bloodlust gets reset. Go figure.)

However, other than that, the only two criticisms I have are the fact that it's radius-linked (Demogorgon, Hag, Huntress, Billy, Oni, Spirit and Nurse all want to say hello) and that it's still 30 seconds, which is a huge amount of time. Someone could come off a hook and just sit under it and heal, or their teammate could farm them and get away with it. Sure, 2 uses is great, but the deactivation conditions should be super strict. Maybe if it deactivates after 5 seconds of doing an action with a progress bar?

Any progress to the state of the match is too much for an anti tunnel perk, healing, cleansing, being fully healed, or starting to repair all shouldnt be part of the anti tunnel package

  • @BigBrainMegMain said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1476173#Comment_1476173

    You literally contradicted yourself.

Tunneling, as soon as being unhooked, the killer tunnel visions YOU and only YOU.

Using an Insta-Heal during a chase while the killer is following you, after being unhooked is still considered tunneling.

Is it not? Haven't you healed for 2 or 3 seconds after being unhooked and then you hear his terror radius making his way to you?

I'm sure we've all been in that situation, and killers like the OP want to take that away? What, you heal for 1 second and DS is deactivated?

    What a laugh.

So you want like 18 second chances on top of the 2 that the game already gives you, talk about entitled survivors

  • @BigBrainMegMain said:

    2. This timer will pause when you are in a chase and while you are down. This timer will immediately deactivate if you start repairing a gen, cleanse a totem, are fully healed, enter a locker or unhook another survivor.

Unfair. This negates insta-heals during a chase. Negates Second Wind. Negates Inner Strength when even looping the killer who's tunneling you by entering a locker. It punishes survivors for not fully healing, even with We'll Make It which is a 5 second heal, the killer could already be on his way looking for you.

    1. Decisive Strike has two tokens. You lose a token after being rescued from a hook within 32 meters of the killers location, otherwise no tokens are consumed. If a token is consumed, you have 30 seconds of DS being active

Does this mean I lose a token if I'm farmed off the hook and I have to wait for the killer to leave the radius in order to go for the unhook?

    Please explain this.

Anti tunnel perk if the killer is outside of 32 meters going after someone else its kinda hard to get tunneled

the only time i dc is with midwich and any OoO. as much as i say theres never a reason to dc, i take that back, that map with object is enough of a reason.

Nah that's just DBD in general. You'll be having a blast when you either face that lovely NOED Ebony mori Stridor Spirit who only sees you or that amazing team that brings Mary's Letter and 4 Object's. The bug is just another way of the game showing that it does, indeed, hate you.

thanks to the dc penalty being disabled the only love so far has been iron will not working on both sides, and 14 second matches before I realize its midwich with 4 objects

Damn guess it's just one hell of a coincidence that every time I've experienced that bug, as survivor or killer, they're/I'm using Iron Will. Truly bizzare.

    It's a bug. A really broken bug.

  • Your initial though are right those are the most useful hex totems in the game at this point although the most people might change the build might be remove ruin in favor of thrill of the hunt for better totem protection or if they are a meme lord remove devour (the best hex) and replace it with hex the third seal to have more fun.

  • not fast enough

  • @Ghouled_Mojo said:

He certainly has a very versatile way to play vs some of the other killers. I love Myers but I wish they would take his stalking limit off per survivor. Maybe they will make a few more with his add-on versatility.

A cool change instead of taking off the stalking limit would be to whenever a survivor saves another survivor their stalk limit balances out, example 1 survivor has 10 points left and another has 0 they save them and both have 5. This means you can stalk the same person more than just the 10 base points they had and also stalk a little off other people at the same time, bonus effect to this you can go from 99 to tier 3 off almost anyone.

  • @BÆYKUS said:

I am trying to find a killer which is good&reliable, but also fun.

Oni,Legion,Freddy,Demogorgon,Pig and Hag. Which one to pick from?

Oni is your best bet judging from the options if you own the other killers of doctor, bubba, and plague he is a monster

Bbq, corrupt intervention, Moniter, Infectious fright for an early game build

Substitute corrupt for pop for a mid - late game build

Oni has the strongest power in the game by far the only downside is you don't have it all the time, but whenever you use it you have the potential to win the game then and there if used right.

  • @oh_0k said:

Bruh Gf is already the best stealth killer rn all he needs is some minor addon changes

Doesn't mean he can't be even closer to the best killers in the game, also there are addon changes somewhere in this mess

  • Clipping on all objects even the sky in this game is random if not poor at times, you think they want to fix their mess of all the maps just to make a new killer.

  • Anti tunnel perk should be anti tunnel, not im immune and get free gen time

  • I thought he was going to say object of obsession

  • Love the movement speed outside of chase but maybe have it work inversely for early game or have a mechanic to start with stacks and be able to lose them to make it an early / mid / and late game perk

  • @Guiltron said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1465458#Comment_1465458

Ah yes, waste your time chasing the survivor that got distance instead of patrolling.

Seemingly you lack the experience to argue about this kind of thing the optimal play was build pressure through getting a hook to try and pull survivors away from gens but having them spawn scattered on 4 different gens is really strong for the survivors and if they stick to those early gens the game can be lost then and there especially with the weaker killers in the game they might not have had any comeback at all. Also kinda hard to get the survivors who won't make any distance with a 32 meter terror radius.

  • Oh and don't worry, you don't have to use your listed combinations yourself, there 1 killer out there isn't running them thats enough for now.

  • Ok but all survivors can't have more that 1 meta perk

  • @Deadeye said:

Have to repeat myself on that one: Spirit's wooshing is not bound to her TR

There is a point near the edge of her TR where you can hear both. And stuff like Distressing seems not to affect the wooshing distance. At least perks tested in KYF, but hearing both also confirmed in normal games. Might be a bug but still a thing then.

I heard people saying "you can hear her footsteps, easy counter for phasing". I noticed that actually. Yes, you can hear that. But you only hear ONE step, two at most and then she hits you, no time to really react. The distance you hear her footsteps is minimal compared to the her speed in phasing, even without addons.

I would just suggest a simple thing to test, as it should be a simple change and easily revertable (also without knowledge about the code): make her wooshing directional for a PTB and see if that breaks her or makes her fair. (@Peanits would that be as simple as I think? Or thoughts about that change?)

So just change it so outside tr but close is always phasing noises

As a console player, I welcome more Nurse games.

I've also played against more Hillbillies than anyone in these forums can imagine, so I'm a little over going against him.

I also prefer to keep the add-ons out of the conversation for as long as possible. Yes, Myers can just delete people and have permanent Tier III, and I find those both annoying and unfair. Pig's add-ons are detrimental half the time and an RBT kill is more rare than an ethical facecamp.

Lol my bad on console it will be spirits not nurses, have fun

  • Some changes to the ideas

    Solidarity

Sharing painful experiences has the power to heal

After healing a total of 4/3/2 health states solidarity activates

Heals 1 survivor a full health state upon use then deactivates

    Any Means Necessary

You stand up for yourself, using whatever's on hand to gain an advantage.

Press and hold the Active Ability button for 3 seconds while standing beside a dropped Pallet

to reset it to its upright position.

Any Means Necessary has a cool-down of 110/100/90 seconds.

If this perk has been off cool-down for 30 seconds the auras of dropped pallets are revealed to you within 20 meters

He is though. You have a FREE and EASY TO USE instant-down on demand. One that also provides the best mobility in the game and enormous map pressure

GF and Myers have to work for theirs! And they have zero mobility options!

Less billy = more spirit and nurse

Yes his power has been nerfed considerably both addon and overheat wise

Myers can instantly kill people with tombstone piece and have permanent insta downs with fragrant tuft of hair

Ghost face is myers and pigs second cousin twice removed the only difference is he has a stronger base kit and only a few good addons

  • @Ivaldi said:

There's really no other way to fix her; and giving her an aura wont affect that much since her speed is still a lot faster than survivors.

This one is a tell that lowers mindgame potential which ideally is enough to knock her power level down a peg without making her terrible

  • Maybe if it only appears a second or two after so you don't get torment on survivors with the ranged attack but you still get some area covered in torment.
