The perk is horrible at least give survivors the chance to use it more than twice. It’s trash no point in running it can’t even be used in deep wound. So sad to see such a fun perk from back then become a laughing stock perk.

Interesting that seeing your comments you say it is both not good and not fun to use, and yet i am seeing it, if not on every game, then in every other game.

Dunno, for a "non fun and not good" perk its one of survivors most used perks.

spirit has a lot more precise information than dracula. her phase-walk therefore is a lot more reliable to land. Bat form dracula is easier to juke spirit. If you really hate Bat form that much, you could just Iron will vs bat form.

I literally use Mindbreaker right now as dracula because of how strong iron will is vs him. I really wish i could use Stridor but the perk doesn't work. it is still bugged. it is suppose give me sound when survivor use iron will but it does not.

I am trying the reworked Genetic Limits right now. With Mindbreaker sadly if survivors can still see you, they can leave gen before to remove the exhausted effect, but with Genetic Limits you only need to injure them, so they will always have the exhaustion effect.

Also Mindbreaker is 5 seconds while GL is 8 seconds so its more difficult to get rid of it in chase.

  • Dracula should not get touched unless they first buff Wolf form.

This'll be my last word here because I don't want to talk about Bat Form forever:

    1. Yeah, the 2.5 second swap specifically to/from Bat Form is a problem. Switching between Wolf and Vampire on a 2.5 second cooldown isn't an issue.

    2. If a survivor camps a safe pallet, just destroy it and turn back into a bat, catch up instantly. If it's unsafe, use one of your other abilities to hit them, and switch to Bat Form if they run away.

    3. This is about using Bat Form as a catch-up tool, not patroling, so if you lose the survivor because you can't see them for 3 seconds I think that's a misplay from the killer, especially if they're injured and crying loudly.

    4. Just because something has a "counter" does not mean it's balanced. You can counter a good Nurse by breaking line of sight, her power is still ridiculous and massively favours her in chase.

I understand if you are not going to answer but I still want to add a bit more.

I still dont get why, again, the focus is the bat form while he could still do everything mentioned here even before the buffs (hit survivor, trasnform into bat, catch) and yet no one had a problem with it at all? Even there did seem to be an agreement that the bat form was a bit underpowered and did need buffs. So now it got buffed and people are pointing those things that could be done before the buffs?

If the answer is going to be "well it can be done faster now thanks to the reduced shapeshift cd", then again the problem seems to be shapeshift and not the Bat form.

About number 3, that works only if survivor is wounded (and not using iron will, which sadly is a very common perk now). Even if you use Stridor to counter it, if im not mistaken it still sounds quieter. Losing the survivor doesnt mean "the killer did just bad".

Want to end by saying that the difference is that Dracula's counters ar far easier to do and his power is far weaker than Nurse, so its not a very good example.

Batform, find survivor, hit, batform, instantly catch up, down. Mix that with bamboozle and it's guaranteed fast downs. The cooldown on batform needs to be increased or something else I can't think of. Wolf form seems fine still since it's high risk high reward and the hell fire hit box seems very inconsistent but not unfair most times. Just that dang bat form bypassing everything. It's like Chucky all over again

"Wolf form seems fine still since it's high risk high reward"? Im sorry but thats a blatant lie. Wolf form is "high risk low reward"

Wolf form is underpowered as hell. Almost zero time to aim after first pounce, extremely tiny hitbox, extremely easy to dodge. The only way i consistently hit with the pounce is if the survivor is just not looking behind him or i caught him on a narrow hallway. Otherwise the survivor can just bait it and you just need to randomly aim into a direction and hope the survivor goes into the same direction, as i said, you have almost zero time to aim after first pounce.

And another thing, the Wolf form was marketed as the "tracking tool" Dracula has, and it does nothing for tracking. The orbs dont appear if survivors dont move so they can still hide from you and the closer scratch marks and reddish pools of blood are usually not needed in a chase and you could knew where the survivor is anyways. Also the killer instinct when survivor do a fast vault is too short of a duration and you can hear them vaulting anyways.

Arguing about the Bat form seems to be more and more meta right now, but its interesting to see that all of those things Bat form can do and people are arguing for (ignoring vaults, hitting a survivor and going into bat instantly) he could still do even before the Bat form buffs, and people not only didnt care about the form but most of the time it was being said that the form did need buffs because it was also a bit underpowered.

Leave the Bat form alone as it has enough counterplay already. People are trashing the form but it seems the real problem for them its the 2.5 second cooldown because as i said, before the Bat buffs it could do everything of this and people didnt care.

But again, even with the 2.5 second cooldown, people seem to counterplay me very well on every form. They camp thrown pallets or in windows they do slow vaults/move slow when i am in Bat form so i dont know where they are, they go into obstacles or run in circles when i pounce in Wolf form and they try to do the same in loops to bait the Hellfire. He seems pretty counterable?

It's literally just Bat Form though, everything else is fine. Instant 6.5m/s and ignoring all vaults is too much for a killer to get on-demand as a sub-power with a tiny cooldown.

And I definitely don't want him to be "janky and a chore". I've been playing literally just Dracula over the past week. But that doesn't change the fact that Bat Form is pretty unfair for Survivors right now.

Interesting how bat form could do everything of that (6.0m/s instead of 6.5 but was still fast) and ignore every vault before they even touched it, but no one was talking about that form. Hell most of the people did agree that the form was underpowered much like Wolf and did need buffs.

Now its buffed and people argue non-stop that the form can ignore vaults and follow survivors after hitting them, which he could still do before the Bat buffs. Guess what? The real problem maybe be the 2.5 second swap instead of the Bat form?

Anyways, Bat form is still pretty much counterable. Cannot see survivors. Cannot attack survivors. Has both a delay + slowdown after trasnforming. The survivor can just throw a pallet and camp it and Dracula cannot even touch the survivor even with the addon that makes you shapeshift faster.

Who needs 2v8 when every new killer gets 3 powers?

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/0QOTYSD5W5N2/image.png

Cant that be applied to all killers like, post 2017 or something? Why is Dracula the only one being targeted?

I saw a post in Reddit i think where there was only like 5 "fully original" killers. Literally by getting nitpicky, the rest of the killers in the game have borrowed powers from those 5 killers. It honestly made me think about this.

  • Remove hatch. "Lucky" escapes shouldnt be possible, and it also promotes both slugging for the 4k and the 2 last survivors to perma hide and try to get their lucky escape.

Remove it and once there is one survivor left, the gates power up. Killers will still slug but far less, as its easier to track the gates and it will be a time limit for the survivor to open them. Survivors will also try to hide when there are two of them, but far less as they know that being the last one doesnt mean they can get a lucky escape.

Killer players complained that bat form was the worst variant. Not acknowledging its ability to ignore god pallets, catch up to survivors, or to traverse the map. All because swapping from bat to go for an M1 was worse than Spirit. That's the kind of feedback the devs got, and so bat form got blanket buffs. Despite the fact that the form was already very strong, and had a ton of useful applications.

The problem is that players expect the tools of a killer with multiple abilities, to be just as strong as a killer with just one. Dracula shouldn't be able to attack from out of bat form, because he has multiple abilities, Spirit has one. He has a strong anti-loop power, so he shouldn't be able to teleport anywhere near as fast as Hag, as he doesn't have to deal with setting anything up. His teleport gives him good mobility, that's enough. Should the wolf's lunge be better than Demo's shred? No.

Dracula should not be extremely strong in everything he does. Part of having lots of options is that they are all meant to be on the weaker side. Otherwise he's just a better version of multiple killers.

Dracula is not able to attack from out Bat form. It has both a delay after shapeshifting and he also gets slowed down. Its a small delay/slow? It is, but people somehow are saying that he can play like spirit where she can instantly appear and attack, and he cannot do that.

Against Spirit, if she is just on top of you on a pallet side, she can appear and attack the survivor just before the survivor can vault the pallet. Against Dracula the survivor can just safely stay on the thrown pallet on one side even if Dracula is on top of him with the bat form, you dont even need to do anything at all. If Dracula transforms, you can safely vault the pallet and not get hit.

Windows are another story as doing a slower vault while Dracula transform and not get hit is a bit tricky and needs a bit more of prediction from the survivor side, but you can still mindgame Dracula by doing slow vault or try to walk out from there.

Also, Wolf lunge is not only worse than Demo's shred, it is far worse. Wolf form is so underpowered that even his chase potential is outclassed by Vampire form's Hellfire, which is far better in 95% of situations. Wolf was marketed as a "tracking form" but his tracking is also not good.

Dracula actually is not "extremely strong in everything it does". Vampire form and his Hellfire are "decent" at chases. Hellfire is good but it has clear weakness as not being able to go through high walls. Wolf form is terrible and almost every "pounce" ability from other killers are already much better than his. Bat form is good, but still has counterplay and clear weaknesess.

  • @Rokku_Rorru said:

I think what I'm bothered about is how quick they removed Dracula's Hug tech, yet: Wesker and Billy still have it?

Im totally fine if they remove those "bugs" so the killer itself can be balanced easier without having to take those into account honestly..

  • Bat form did totally need buffs. His teleport was hell slow for a limited range and restricted places to teleport into. The 6.0m to 6.5m mov speed was also a nice change but i dont think it did change much.

People bash on Bat form right now but ignore two things:

    • Even if people bashes Bat form the actual problem for them seems to be the 2.5 sec shapeshift CD. If only they had buffed shapeshift and not Bat at all, people would still be calling Bat form op because "it can ignore vault and quick follow the survivor", and that didnt change before the buffs to this form.
    • Wolf form still underpowered as hell. They should not touch Dracula at all before taking a look at the Wolf form first.
  • I didnt test with other killers because i am playing Dracula-only, but for me it only happens when hooking female survivors. Male survivors scream as always when hooked.

My honest opinion? Finally i can play some games at high volume wihtout having to quickly alt+tab out and in the game again to cut the scream when hooking. As long as you cannot individually change the survivors scream volume this bug is actually welcome.

  • People always bring up how "overtuned" (debatable) Bat form is but completely ignore how undertuned Wolf form is.

it has identity. it is suppose to be good for high-wall loops and good for tracking survivors outside of chase if you don't know where survivors are. it is just under-powered… at both of those aspects. i think i proposed some changes to make it good.

    1. Increase radius that wolf can see orbs to 28 meters
    2. Make survivors drop orbs even when they're not moving. Spawns 1 scent orb every 6 seconds when Idol.
    3. Decrease pounce charge time from 1 second to 0.6 seconds making it easier to use pounce around high-wall loops and tight corners.

the problem is that some post are now saying dracula is too good and i wouldn't want my bat form nerfed. The switching form buff from 5 second → 2.5 second has done so much for my gameplay on dracula. it is crazy how much better i am applying pressure with that singular change.

Your proposal number 2 i have also proposed on other topics many other times and i think its perfect. If the orbs appear when survivors are not moving it could definetly cement it as a "the tracking form". Your number 1 and 3 proposals are also decent but i think number 2 should be top priority. Again, i would be fine if he is not that good as anti-loop as long as he has good tracking tools. I would be fine to increase the orb spawn rate (to about 8 seconds or so instead of 6) if the survivors are not moving, as long as you have some tools to detect them.

Also yes, the 2.5 second cd did actually change his gameplay a lot. Also, now bat form seems to be really good, but i would hate to leave Dracula in that state with a form that will almost never be used because others are good/decent. Knowing BHVR i dont want them to see their "excel file" and say "hey Dracula seems to be doing decent so he doesnt need any changes".

  • @Ohyakno said:

Wolf form is antiloop. I hardly ever see them bother with anything but it.

Because his "tracking tools" are extremely underwhelming. Hell even his antitloop is underwhelming most of the time compared to Dracula's Hellfire, so its mostly used as a "Hellfire on CD/cannot hit with it? Wolf form".

If BHVR doesnt want to give wolf form proper tracking tools its fine, but the form still needs buffs to not be just worse than Vampire and even harder to use.

  • @caipt said:

I feel like it certainly has its identity but could use buffs. In my experience its best used where hellfire's zoning and anti loop arent effective at the loop and a mini wesker could more reliably get the hit. Tall rock filler tiles, low LOS vault loops, the outisde half of shack etc.

I agree with you but i dont think his identity should be just "Vampire's form backup". Wolf form was presented to us to be useful for tracking, but it doesn't even do that well enough, as if the survivors are just hiding and not running, it doesnt track anything at all. Most of the time the tracking appears when you are chasing the survivor but on those times you almost never need it.

Im fine if he is not that good as the Vampire form for getting hits, but at least he should track and find survivors reliably. Right now Vampire form can do what wolf form does, but much much better most of the time. I know that there are times like i said on the post that you are chasing on high walls where Hellfire is not that good, but even on a lot of those loops there are some window/pallet that you can try and get a hit with Hellfire more reliably than the Wolf.

And even on those times where you will actually go and try to get a hit with Wolf's M2, is still hard as hell to aim and easy to juke and dodge, as you dont have any input on the time before the 2nd pounce and you need to adjust extremely quick for it.

why can’t more be in the game? 😂 9% is outdated af

If anything its closer to be nerfed than buffed. That +9% its on a lot of actions, not only vault speed.

Also, for being "trash", im seeing that lara perk on tons of games and its saving lot of survivors to not get hits that otherwise would have got.

  • Before, survivors just gen rushed until the very last second to go for the rescue.

Now why bother even going to rescue the person at all? 10 extra seconds to do gens, so they fly even faster.

  • I always see everyone talking about how anti-tunnel needs to be better, but no one actually talks on those times where you absolutely need to tunnel someone out as fast as possible to have a chance to win.

Im in on making anti-tunnel measures stronger, but not before making some changes on those times where you need to tunnel someone out. Like, if there is 1 gen left and no one is dead, every anti-tunnel and anti-camping measures (both basekit and perks) should temporary deactivate. When someone is dead, they activate again until EGC where they just deactivate.

Make anti-tunnel and anti-camp stronger if they are not on these cases. Also i still think killers should be actually rewarded by going into different survivors instead of just punished by trying to tunnel someone out.

  • People will tell you that "you can go and open gates by yourself", because they know that is almost never the best option for the killer.

For the killer to have the need to go and open the gates means the killer wants the survivors to take some kind of action quickly, usually to unhook a player before the game ends or else the killer gets a kill.

On those cases is usually not worth to go and open the gate, because by doing that the survivors can just unhook the player safely once the killer leaves to open it.

Of course not mentioning that if the killer opens the gates while all the survivors are free, then they can just easily escape.

So yeah, regressing the gates its a good idea to make survivors to chose into not opening the gates but letting them and the killer to have all the time in the world, or to open them to have less time but a safer way to escape. Right now it just favors survivors heavily, because they can chose to have all the time and then just open them when they are all ready. And yes, the killer can also open it themselves, but as i explained before, its almost never worth it.

Being invisible barely matters cause of her directional phase audio, hitting out instantly of phase is the only thing she has over Dracula but good survivors aware of her power's limitations can easily counter it, she sure as hell don't feel like she can do anything faster than Dracula, not with all of her nerfed add-ons and in this IW and OTR meta.

Spirit is still relegated as one of the "top 5" killers in the game, sometimes still even being put at the "top 3" just after Nurse and Blight. Im not really sure on the "can easily counter it" thing.

  • I still dont even know why the unhooked survivor doesnt just lose collision at the very least. This would already solve tons of problems.

  • @TieBreaker said:

Everyone complained that Bat form was crap. So it got buffed. It was already great. Now it's even better.

It was decent, but not "great". I always felt the teleport was extremely slow for a 32 meters teleport and the teleport speed addon did need to be basekit.

Now it still doesn't reach that addon speed but its close and feels much better.

  • That can be applied to like 30 killers.

there’s legit no counterplay in certain situations and I hope he gets nerfed.

Survivors can pretty much counterplay me when i play him.

His Hellfire is dodgeable. His pounce is easily dodgeable. In his bat form he even cannot see survivors.

Terrible idea, what will happen, you hit the person that is saving, after that, you hit the unhooked survivor, since the unhooked is injured, your hit on the unhooked survivor will count as a protection hit, and he didn’t even tried to take a protection hit.

You can see my proposal just two posts above you, it will cover your situation.

On the situation you did describe, DS will work as usual.

  • If the unhooked survivor takes a protection hit after 3-5 seconds from being unhooked, it gets downed (basekit BT and OTR does not protect him) and also DS deactivates. Thats more than enough time for the unhooked survivor to get away from his teammate.

Also, survivor loses collision during this time. This can also help the survivor to not get blocked by the killer from a possible escape route.

    Simple.

  • @NotJared said:

After a few days of playing with and against the buffed Shapeshift cooldown, I think I can safely say that I feel Bat is waaaaaaay overtuned now. The cooldown was honestly pretty fine and balanced before the buff.

Shapeshift NEEDS a cooldown, thanks to Bat's speed and ability to completely ignore vaults and pallets. With the new buffs, Dracula can shapeshift, hop over a pallet or window, and turn back before Survivors get a chance to run anywhere.

It's as if Spirit's cooldown was completely removed AND she could walk through vault points - there's just nothing Survivors can do to get between loops, he is instantly on top of Survivors in seconds.

I think either Shapeshift needs its original cooldown back, or leaving Bat form needs a bigger slowdown to allow for more counterplay.

If Dracula transforms again into Vampire (from bat) from a side of a pallet/window where the survivor is, the survivor has enough time to vault it again while dracula is transforming + the delay where he cannot attack after transforming. The shorter cooldown didnt change a thing about it.

If i am not mistaken, to have enough time to attack the survivor, you must bait the survivor to vault into your side while you start transforming, then the survivor must finish the vault and start vaulting again into the other side, and thats when you can hit it. Otherwise it will not work.

  • Im fine that they removed that exploit. Having said that, if now the Wolf still feels useless, they can buff it without taking into account a possible exploit and give him a much better basekit.

  • Honestly im still surprised people are still complaining about Weave when its extremely easy to counter by getting your item into a corner of the map and the killer have to play without two perks (franklin + weave).

    But bruh in SoloQ..

In SoloQ when i get into the item's range its not that hard to know where the item is, knowing is a 12m radius circle. I do the same with my mates items.

B-but thats something my teammates should do!!!

If they dont and you are paying for it, its your teammates problem, not the perk itself. I dont see anyone calling Devour Hope broken because "my teammates dont go cleanse totems!!!".

  • @Skoegul said:

Love that they justify their nerf for Distortion by pointing out the actual problem:

    ***
Dev note: Distortion counters a lot of Perks & Add-Ons. The token system and recharge mechanic makes Distortion far too effective and allows Survivors to go unseen for the entire match.

    ***

This perk wouldn't be this popular if there wasn't aura reading for literally everything in this game by now.

Load into the game? Aura revealed.

Walk past a totem? Aura revealed.

    Heal? Aura revealed.

Are you anywhere near a locker? Aura revealed.

Item on the floor? Aura revealed.

Someone gets hooked/unhooked/killer kicks a gen/you vault/you exist a little too obviously? Aura revealed.

There's more, yes, and I don't have to list everything for anyone to understand I hope. I just feel that maybe aura reading as a whole needs to be looked at before we completely slaughter the one perk survivors have at their exposal. Obviously if 'one perk counter too much', then there is 'too much to counter'.

And before anyone cries, I play both. I don't use Distortion and I don't use aura perks on my killer. As killer I shouldn't be relying on these to track down a survivor. Not with the amount of tools I already have at my disposal. From my own eyes and ears to the little things like scratch marks, crows and Killer Instinct - which as we all know has zero coutnerplay. And all this I get without using any perk slots, hurray!

Maybe we see the return of Shadow Step and boons now tho. We will see…

And before anyone cries, I play both. I don't use Distortion and I don't use aura perks on my killer. As killer I shouldn't be relying on these to track down a survivor.

Well, honestly….cant you say that to literally every perk?

"You shouldnt use gen regression perks, you shouldnt rely on these to control gens."

"You shouldnt use chase perks, you shouldnt rely on these to catch survivors."

"Yo shouldnt use any perks at all, you shouldnt rely on perks to help you in the game."

I mean… I myself dont use much aura perks, sometimes i put BBQ but thats usually all i have, but that argument seems a bit…silly?

adapt. hellfire is not suppose to feel like other killers. it is own unique ability which i love unique abilities. My only problem now with dracula is wolf form feeling not good to use. if they fix that, he will be complete awesome.

I would not say "adapt" that lighly, as that can be said to literally anything and no one should be able to complain.

Hellfire is already unique by not going through high objects. You are saying that you like "unique" abilities but that "uniqueness" thing about Hellfire is actually nerfing the ability. You do not follow with the camera after the cast so its harder to hit. Also, if the survivor is just running in a straight line from you, there is a possiblity that Hellfire will miss even if the survivor is at range because it will outrun Hellfire.

That uniqueness about Hellfire is actually nerfing an already nerfed ability that does not go through high objects. Not saying Hellfire is bad, i think its pretty decent, but i dont get why the ability itself needs to be "double nerfed".

  • I also think Wolf form need buffs, right now seems to be better at chasing by just getting into the orbs (they do not appear when survivors are not moving so the tracking part is "meh"), but his pounce attack feels that is still hard as hell to hit. Sometimes you dont even want to do the second pounce but still does.

About Dracula form…still bugs me that Hellfire casting position is completely different than the rest of ranged killers. It is casted instantly at the moment you release the button, while on the other killers its casted some frames after that, so you can still follow survivors with your camera on those frames and hit them. With Dracula that does not happen, and if you try to follow the survivor when you release your attack, you will miss.

I think it is like that because you have completely free camera movement while on other ranged killers it locks on you, thats why their attacks can follow them. I would argue that Dracula's Hellfire would feel much much better if the camera is locked like the other killers but you can still follow with your camera after the attack is released.

Let's remove Black Wards. They are used by the sweatiest killers using the best addons.

Both sides can be sweaty and play things to their advantage when it's accessible to do so.

Survivors have the equivalent offering to protect their addons. The same could be said for them.

But hey, removing both the black and Sac wards and the map offerings too? LET ME IN!!

It does work if there are four of the same offering. Sac wards make the map selection random, so you can be sent to the map the offering was for by happenstance.

Any way, make sac wards brown. Offerings are fine.

Thats what i was saying. Sac wards doesnt work if there are 4 of the same map offering, which means that if i am with my swf and want to bully the killer in a specific map, he is going to go there and cannot do anything about it.

  • What i never understood is that the Sacrifical Ward offering removes the rest of the map offerings that got burnt. Okay, thats good, but why in the world does not work if there are 4 of the same map offering? I mean, is just another way for the SWF to annoy the killer even more??

  • @doobiedo said:

Windows of Opportunity should really be made basekit. It helps lower the difference between Swf and solo-que, and just being a neet and having thousands of hours to memorize every possible map permutation does not equal skill. Why can Killers see aura of generators basekit but Survivors need a perk to see windows and pallets, which are essentially the ONLY resource survivors have to escape the Killer in chase?

These are totally non-related things tho. Survivors job is to find and repair generators, while killers job is to patrol them and kill the survivors, thats why killers see the generators aura, they are not supposed to "search" for them like the survivors.

Thats like if i say "why survivors jump over windows at a much faster speed than the killer but killer needs perks to vault at almost the same speed! Not fair, give killers the default survivor vaulting speed!!".

You are not supposed to see the "best looping path" by free.

  • What i would do with both DS and OTR:

Before the first 3-5 seconds, DS works same as always. After that, if the survivor gets hit while doing a protection hit, DS deactivates. Or in the case of OTR, if it is a protection hit after the 10 seconds have passed, OTR will not give endurance and the survivor will get downed.

I think 3-5 seconds after being unhooked is more than enough to get away from your mate, if you are still near him you are protecting him. With OTR needs 10 at minimum because if you get hit on the first 10 seconds you were going to get endurance and OTR was going to deactivate anyways.

This way, if the survivor bodyblocks on purpose (uses DS or OTR offensively) they will not work.

  • Extremely good perk and deserves a nerf.

People will tell you "its only good for newbies" because you are supposed to know how the pallet spawn works. But there are 2 things:

    • Even if there is a pallet spawn point, the pallet maybe didnt spawn there, and if you are on a chase without WoO you can maybe go there thinking there is a pallet but there is none because it was not on that side of the loop.
    • People almost never talks on how good it is for knowing when your teammates drop a pallet and its destroyed. People are like "just with game knowledge and seeing where they are looping you can guess the pallets that have been thrown". Like, if you are that good at gathering info, im pretty sure you didnt have any problem with old eruption, as you were 100% aware of the killer situation and when he was going to hit the survivor so you could always stop doing the gen and not being "erupted", 100%.

Perk is near the "overpowered" state and should be nerfed.

They wouldn't feel weak, because if all bugs, then both sides.

CJ, Window, Crouch, FOV, 360 etc.

I think it would actually kill the DBD, because both sides would become incredibly boring.

I did mention the killers but of course i do also mean survivors.

I still think all bugs should be fixed. If something ends being "weak" or "boring" you can change it with actual features.

You mean things like the individual guard cooldowns? Which were made basekit?

Those Survivor-sided Devs again! Giving Killers what they asked for! >:(

Nice sarcasm at the end. Loved it!

But no, i was refering to:

    • Knight being able to grab survivors with guards. Bug that improves knight. Knight gets killswitched for a month and patched. Mind you, on this time no other bugs that were actually detrimental to the knight got fixed.
    • Knight guards started going around pallets instead of through them when the survivors drop them. This bug happened some time ago after Knight was released. It improves survivors. Bug is left there and never fixed.
    • Knight guards start not following survivors that go near windows. Bug that improves survivors. Bug is converted into a feature.
    • Guards stopping sometimes moving in the chase and staying in place. Bug detrimental to the knight. Bug never fixed.

Keep in mind that im missing many other bugs that are detrimental to the knight and im not remembering.

Also, the individual guard cooldowns is not a very good example, as it was again another bug that was good for the Knight and got fixed by release. They only did revert it back after community negative backlash.

  • Never forget how Knight bugs that negatively affected him were turned into "features" or just be left there and the ones that positively afected him were removed.

No bias at all, i suppose.

  • All bugs should be fixed, from the Wolf one to the Knight. But yes, they have a lot of bias by fixing the bugs that improve the killer but making into "features" the ones who are a detriment to them.

They should not go sometimes black and sometimes white. Fix all the bugs. If a killer ends weak because people were abusing a bug, then buff the killer.

    Easy as hell.

  • I have been playing as survivor many days and seeing many Draculas since it came out.

If i play 7-8 matches, at least 4-5 of them are against Dracula.

  • Yes, game is survivor sided as hell.

Sadly it makes sense from a business standpoint. By being an asymetric game if you favour one side it will probably be worse for the other side. Like, if you buff one side, ofc the other side will be negatively affected.

Now having said that, which side do you prefer to favour? The one who plays one player alone, or the one that has 4 people (more people to make happy) AND they can also bring friends to play together and increasing the number of players?

Sadly it has sense that the game heavily favours survivors. The worst part is when people believe the "60% kill rate" myth.

  • Worst part is those tunneling and camping nerfs affects negatively both killers that want to tunnel/camp since the beginning and killers that need to tunnel or camp on a very specific moment because it is needed (for example 4 gens done and no survivor dead, im sorry but at that time you need to take someone out asap).

hook timer was increased due to gen time being increased eons ago, guess what, killers were still tunneling with the extra gen time, with the buffs to PR and pop, etc —— people who play like this will continue to play like this until it's no longer the path of least resistance

Fun fact, increased hook timer affects both tunneling/camping killers and the ones that dont even tunnel/camp equally. When i hook someone survivors just dont come to unhook even if i am already chasing another survivor. Why lose time coming to unhook if you can just smash the gens and come at the very last moment before the survivor reaches the hook 2nd phase? Survivors who knew how to play already did that before, but now? With the extra +10 seconds thats easier than ever.

  • Vampire: is overall good enough, but his casting of hellfire simply feels weird. I would either make it as other killers, that it land where you are looking at point of actually casting, or as PH and lock the camera.

This right here. For some reason with any other ranged killer even if you release your M2 button the attack still starts a few frames later where you are looking at, even if of those frames you did move.

For some reason this does not happen with Dracula and makes aim to surviros weird, you follow them with your camera but your attack still miss because it did start already before that moment.

  • Bat has not been buffed from PTB though, as far as i know.

Damn, don't kill my vibe hahahah

What other characters do you see being introduced as a Legendary Skin for Dracula? I think any other character other than Carmilla would be insane. Although I did play only a little LoS, and most of my love for Carmilla comes from the Netflix series tbh

It just sucks that Dracula is so much fun to play imo, and I know it would be sooooo much cooler for me if he had any female vampire as a legendary skin, then my dream of being a vampire lady would come true 😥

I always assume that everyone asking for a Carmilla skin its because of the show. But they do not have the show rights so…

But anyways i would still not like it. Because both i dont like Carmilla and Dracula is so damn leagues above her in "power" that i would feel like i am playing a nerfed character. 😂
