there have been leaks showing that the next two chapters will be licensed
3 licensed in a row? Don't they usually go back and forth? Only time I can think of when they even did 2 licensed in a row was Ash vs Evil Dead + Scream in June last year and Stranger Things in September last year, and they compensated for that by doing 2 original in a row afterward, Oni + Yui and Deathslinger + Zarina.

Think about having like an abandoned little town with houses and in the rooms are like 1 or 2 beds where you can hide under.
Yeah, I was thinking like a creepy Abbey map, with beds you could hide under in the Dormitory of the Abbey.

I thought Sam would be a better choice for survivor. She is the one that does most of the running... but I like the concept for it. : D
Ormond as a whole needs to be darker. So do a lot of maps (at least for survivor lore reasons).
Problem is Sam would be more expensive for Behavior to do, as she was played by Hayden Panetierre, one of the most famous actors/acrtresses in the game, and Behaviour would have to pay for her likeness rights for the game which could get expensive. Would be cheaper for them to do one of the Until Dawn characters played by a lesser known actor/actress, like Chris or Ahsley.
Definitely agreed about Ormund and some of the other realms needing to be darker. Ormund is definitely one of the worst culprits though, makes me miss the old days when we had offerings that darkened the lighting on maps.
-
Would be nice to see, especially on certain maps.
-
I haven't the foggiest idea what the next licensed chapter will be. I have several I would love to see, like Conjuring, Until Dawn, Resident Evil, and Alien, but I have no idea if any of those are likely to happen, if the devs have teased any of them. I know they teased the Stranger Things chapter quite hard before it was announced, but I haven't seen any recent teasing by them, so I'm guessing the next chapter is probably an original killer and survivor.
-
Well, are you going for perks, or are do you want killers who are actually viable?
Bubba is great for perks, BBQ and Chili is fantastic for earning points faster, while Franklin's Demise can be very useful against teams who are running alot of items.
Myers also has some useful perks, namely Play with Your Food and Save The Best For Last.
However, Freddy and Executioner are the most viable killers out of the licensed killers in my experience, Freddy in particular is top tier alongside Spirit. Bubba may be viable now after the buffs, haven't played with him enough to tell.
-
Would love to see an Until Dawn chapter with the Wendigo, Ashley, and a new, darker, Ski Lodge map on the Ormund Lodge realm that looks more like the Lodge in Until Dawn.
Another good one would be a Conjuring Universe chapter with the Nun, Ed and Lorraine Warren, and a map based on one of the movies in the series.
-
Might use the bloodpoint earning part only while trying to get bloodpoints fast to max new survivors and killers. Other than that, no.
-
I see some premium stuff I like, but I'm not paying for it. I will go as far as I can go on free before I run out of time.
-
Seems like it's pretty much unanimous, people hate the new auras.

deep wound is already pointless i dont think that will help
My proposed version would have a faster bleedout timer than Legion's version, and if survivors try to escape before they are mended they will die at the gate like with the the old Pig reverse bear traps. Survivors would be forced to waste time mending, and they couldn't pull that save from hook protection hit run to the gate stuff anymore either.
-
I'd say keep the speed increase (maybe increase it to 4/5/6%), but get rid of the 1 hit downs. Instead have it put survivors into a bleedout state like Legion's power, but with a faster timer, that has to be healed before you can escape through the exit gate. The current version is just a crutch perk for weak killers, completely overpowered. My changes would nerf it without making it useless, as the bleedout timers would slow healing and exiting for survivors, and allow you to down whichever survivor you decide to chase since they won't have time to heal while being chased. NOED would become a perk that allows you to get 1 or 2 survivors in the end phase, instead of the current version that can easily snowball into a weak killer getting all 4 survivors on an altruistic team.
Edit: Oh, and the bleedout effect should be added to secondary attacks too, like Demo's Shred and Pig's Ambush Dash. The current NOED only works on basic attacks.
-
In order of importance:
- DS (needs a nerf)
- Moris (should only work on death hook)
- NOED (needs a nerf)
I don't think any of the rest of these are issues.
-
Was just watching Tru3 make fun of it in a video xD

-
Seems like pretty much everybody wants this. Please take note devs.
-
Perfect as is. Iron will mostly counters it, unless the killer has their headset volume cranked up so loud that they are causing themselves hearing damage.
-
Definitely.
-
I don't ever tea-bag at exit, or at all during a game, because I'm not toxic. But I do wait at exit for awhile (not the entire timer), both to get those final bold points for escaping a chase as you run out the exit, as well as to be nice and give the killer extra points for the free hit.
-
Killers with good map pressure are definitely better than killers who are just good in a chase. No matter how fast you win a chase against a single person, you still have 3 other survivors out there potentially rushing generators during that chase. Obviously killers who are both good in a chase and have good map pressure, like Spirit and Freddy, are top tier though. Spirit is not only fast in a chase, but she can get around a map quickly to check gens and scare survivors off of a gen when they hear her phasing sound because they don't want to get pulled off the gen. Freddy is also great at both, his traps make several loops unusable which can end chases faster, while his gen teleporting and teleport fakeouts are great for map pressure.
-
Any killer with instadown capability really. Ghostface, Myers, Billy, Leatherface, a few of the others also have instadown capability with add-ons. But currently, Billy is my least favorite to go against since he has good instadown capability all of the time. I assume that Leatherface will soon be my most hated to go against, since he is buffed in the next patch while Billy is nerfed.
I know alot hate going against Spirit, but I've never really had many issues vs her personally, since I run Iron Will on all of my survivors all of the time. It's a great perk against most killers, but especially against Spirit, since she relies so much on audio while phasing.
-
He's fun to play at the lower ranks. He's not viable at red ranks though in my experience, and even at purple ranks he can struggle at times.
-
Playing as survivor, no I don't miss it, the nerf made survivor much easier. Playing as killer though, I definitely miss it. That early game slowdown it provided was crucial when playing as some of the below average killer characters, without it 2-3 gens are usually repaired before you can chase down the first survivor you find and get them on a hook.
-
Spirit
-
One of the few well balanced killers in the game currently imo.
-
Survivors definitely have the advantage currently. Balance was a bit better before the Ruin nerf, that early game slowdown it provided was crucial for many killer characters, without it, often 2 or 3 generators are repaired before the killer can chase down the 1st survivor they find and get them on a hook. Devs say they think that 2 survivors sacrificed and 2 escaping is optimal balance, not sure I agree with that since 2 escaping means all 5 gens get repaired unless a key is used, but even if you do consider 2 sacrifice/2 escape to be balanced, the game is not there currently, 3 and 4 escaping combined is more common than 2, 1, and 0 escaping combined in my experience, both playing as survivor myself and playing as killer myself.
-
Yui, but chose Cheryl on the poll since Yui wasn't an option.
-
Definitely team nerf. If the perk is supposed to be anti-tunneling, then why does it last a full minute? Right now DS is so often used by trolly SWF's, you're either stuck leaving them on the ground until DS expires which gives the other 3 a chance to gen rush while you're stuck guarding the body until it is safe to pick them up, or you're forced to slug them and then leave to go back to gen patrolling, or pick them up and take the DS stun.
They need to change it somehow, either a simple reduction from 60 seconds to 20 seconds, or maybe have it disappear if the DS person does anything besides run, vault, or drop a pallet.
-
I have always hated Gideon Meat Packing Plant. The bathroom gen sucks, the small size sucks against Doctor. Have only played 3 matches on Midwich since I started playing the game again, so I can't offer a great opinion on it though.
-
Note: These are based on which I think the best killers are overall for the entire playerbase, not necessarily my own personal opinions of each of them. For instance, I'm terrible with Nurse and Huntress because I play on console, but in the right hands, especially on PC, they can be quite good. Also, my Billy and Bubba rankings are based on the current PS4 build, not the new new PTB changes for them, which I've heard make billy much worse, and make bubba much better.
Note 2: Several of these are based on my perceptions from survivor games and watching Tru3Ta1ent play them, because I only own like half the DLC's.
Note 3: My personal top 3 best killers are Spirit, Freddie, Doctor. I have the best luck getting sacrifices with those 3.

Found a really cool fan concept for Tucker & Dale as survivors. I need this Behaviour!
-
Not a fan of the idea. We already have 1 clown, why add a second? It'll just make the one we already have get played even less than he is already played.
There are so many other killers from film and other game series they could try to get the license for:
-Xenomorph
-Predator
-Chucky
-Jason Vorhees
-Wendigo (Until Dawn)
-The Nun (Conjuring)
-Pinhead (Hellraiser)
-Dracula (Van Helsing)
Etc.
-
My most wanted for each:
Survivors:
Ashley (Until Dawn)
Tucker or Dale (Tucker & Dale vs Evil)
Ellen Ripley (Alien)
Lorraine or Ed Warren (Conjuring)
Van Helsing (specifically the one from the 2004 movie played by Hugh Jackman)
Killers
Wendigo (Until Dawn)
Xenomorph (Alien)
The Nun (Conjuring)
Predator
Count Vladislaus Dracula (Van Helsing)

Best killer in the game imo. Her ability to quickly reclose the gap on a survivor after the first hit is invaluable imo. Time is everything in this game thanks to gen rushing, so her sheer speed makes her a great killer. Also, with monitor and abuse she is great at pulling people off gens. Get stridor on her as well since you can't see much while phasing, the extra sound cues it provides are invaluable.
I do fear they are going to listen to the whiners soon and nerf her, which is a shame because she is one of the few killers left that stands much of a chance against a SWF at high ranks.
-
Easily huntress. Better range, ability to fire multiple times in relatively quick succession, has a 1 hit down add-on, can arc shots to hit people hiding behind a gen or wall, can sometimes get a quick 1-2 hatchet + basic attack kill, has better hit boxes. Deathslinger can have his chain broken far too easily and suffers a long stun when it does get broken, has to waste time reeling people in, has slow reload/cleaning/etc. speeds. In a game where speed is everything for killer due to gen rushing, deathslinger is just too slow at everything.

Huh that's odd, i'm on PS4 and queues usually don't last that long unless i'm in a SWF. What rank are you?
10 currently. Was a 1 in the past, before I took a 10 month break, which caused alot of rank resets.
-
And we're back to 25+ minute matchmaking times on survivor again tonight....
-
My top 5:
- Yui
- Cheryl
- Feng
- Zarina
- Nancy
-
Why you trying to nerf my Spireh?
-
Been getting a few better games today thankfully. More balanced and without people quitting/disconnecting. Matchmaking is still slow though.

The new graphics look AMAZING! Great job devs! My only question is how will the console frame rate keep up with it? It already suffers a lot
I guessing that only the PS5 and Xbox Series X are getting the graphical upgrades. Doubtful PS4/XB1 are getting them, and no way Switch is.
-
I've often thought about this myself. At this point the game has a ton of perks thanks to the high number of survivors and killers, yet only about 10 of them are getting used a decent amount. A 5th perk slot and better perk balancing would be great I think, but you can't have the 5th slot without better perk balancing I think.
-
Yeah, this sounds bad to me. I can often tell in the lobby if I'm up against a SWF, because usually there are lots of flashlights, med packs, and keys (or sometimes I remember the names of SWF people), and I like to change to one of my better killers when I see a possible SWF because I don't like to get bullied by SWF's, but this change will force me to go against them with a weaker killer. I feel like this will basically make me stop playing my weaker killers entirely.
-
Your overwhelming presence buff could be broken on certain maps with certain killers. Imagine dealing with a doctor on Gideon Meat Packing plant who is running overwhelming presence, he has add-ons that increase his terror radius size, so with an additional 40% size buff from Overwhelming presence you would be in his terror radium pretty much the whole game. Combine that with Thanatophobia for additional slower survivor action speed, Sloppy Butcher for mangled slower healing, and Coulrophobia for slower healing, and people would basically be unable to heal the whole game, forced to work on gens unhealed at very slow speeds.
I do think that Overwhelming needs to be changed, as slower item consumption is pretty worthless unless you're up against some annoying flashlight SWF (even then you are better off with franklin's demise usually), but just the 3/6/9% action speed decrease would be a good enough addition to the perk, the 40% terror radius size increase and passive degradation would make it broken.
-
Wait, how is trapper the most picked killer? I think he is terrible. I only pick him if I have a daily challenge.
-
I wouldn't mind a demo rework. Something that allows him to drag survivors into the upside down, where they can't work on gens or even see other survivors, and have to waste time running to a portal back into the real world. I wouldn't say he needs a rework though, he is pretty good as is, his kit just feels a bit disappointing compared to what I would have expected from him based on the show.
The ones who actually need reworks now. Hmmm, maybe deathslinger, as is he just feels like a less good version of huntress currently. Clown is also quite weak, but I like his concept, he just needs buffs, not a full rework. Trapper definitely needs something, I hate playing as him.

There are hardly any killers on PS4.
Playerbase is the most toxic from the 3 main platforms. SWF teams.
Just wait until cross play, it'll fix the queue times.
When is crossplay happening? Hopefully soon, these matchmaking times are truly atrocious.
