I think with the update, people will be using CoH more and less likely to be looking to destroy all totems before end game with the change in being able to locate NOED fairly quickly now.
Saying that though, cleanse totem challenges are still in many tomes, so if someone has it they won't give a f... and cleanse what they can, can't blame them, I would too.

I haven't seen Dredge in ages, which I'm glad about. I lose a lot though, so my MMR is probably really low and I guess he's used at higher levels by more experienced players.

They plan to rework that in a future update to squish the rarity (more purples and iris, less brown and yellows) but they haven't given exacts. Basically just acknowledged its not really gonna gel well with the prestige changes regarding forced prestiges and such and that they're aware.
So basically if you have a killer with a stockpile of addons you want for them, you have to think carefully about whether to p1 and nuke their addons or manage your perk tiers to try to hit one of the catchup thresholds outlined in the earlier post. Technically it applies to survivors as well, but items/addons are nowhere near as important there and you can always use a plunderer's build to farm items in addition to webs.

Like someone said try updating your graphics drivers to the latest release and see if it helps. If you play on Ultra quality, maybe try lowering to settings to see if that has any impact, and also try returning to stock if your overclocking your graphics card with something like MSI Afterburner.

Sorry to ask a question in your thread but i've been seeing if i could get the answer from one of the others, but there's literally so many posts talking about different aspects of the changes.
One of the things they mention currently when you prestige is 'Slightly increases the odds of getting better items on the bloodweb', does this actually increase now with every prestige level past 3, or must get capped at some point right, so you don't have more than a handful of good items per web?

Report them, but you can block them on all 3 platforms no? Obliviously not from matchmaking, but contact, and chances are (I hope) you'll not be matched up with them again.

I like the idea, but think it could be abused. Like someone mentioned swf's could have one DC to vote game end. Also what happens if they 3 survivors play on after a dc, then if two are on hook and 1 downed, they initiate a vote to end suddenly. I guess safe guards could be placed to stop abusing it. Also would hope that those who remained after the DC, including the killer, keep their offerings and items/add-ons.

Sounds like a step in the right direction, the 2mil BP cap is great, The base score categories boosted by 2k each not so sure, how often do people max out each category at the moment. Although, anything's definitely better than nothing.

So they did it only as your got close for save? I thought maybe they were throwing the game as they wanted out, I've had a weird few games with people doing it on first hook recently, but if it was as you arrived, that's just silly :/

Survivor main, and if a killers had a particularly tough match i do sometimes just leave without saying anything, since you never know how they may take a 'gg', even with good intentions might be perceived differently, but sure they just move on from the lobby anyway. Saying that, I play killer sometimes, and pretty much get run around and lose all the time, but i tend to still leave a gg at the end regardless, unless it's a load of tea baggers, in which case i just move on too.
When i get stomped by a good killer, i usually watch out the rest of the game (if it wasn't super early on) and leave a gg too. I like spectating at times, since if the other survivors are doing better, i like to know what i could have done differently to last longer. Wonder if they'll ever introduce a way to just spectate (random drop in on an active game), not select a specific match since it could lead to unfair advantages.

i was trying huntress for a hatchet challenge, much respect to the killers who main her, i don't know how people do it, my aim is absolute trash, managed to get my hits to complete it though so i was dancing ha.
I like playing Legion and running around in Frenzy in my bunny cosmetic, my break from survivor solo where i've been getting stomped more than usual recently 😂

I had a chest defender Bubba when i was trying to complete a chest tome challenge, and i only needed 1 more, and it was of course his one ha! he wouldn't trade it for anything, had to give up since he would do the same, down me and take me back upstairs. Although the other 3 survs spent the rest of the trial with him in basement getting downed and carried up again, i assume trying to steal the holy grail (unsuccessfully). i was the only one doing gens to open gates, returning to heal 3 downed survivors when needed lol.
If you want to de-rank, just play normally but don't sacrifice anyone with 3rd hook and left them all escape?

I'm survivor main. i play killer just for tome challenges and dailies, and also fun because i can just run around without a care in the world. I use Legion, perkless, with the bunny cosmetic. i usually just go for some chases and hooks, and let people get on with objectives, especially if they've been hooked twice (if i even get that far). It's funny how people still insist on teabagging when you've clearly let them off at times haha.
Although i had the longest game i've ever had in my dbd lifetime last night, 2 survivors just hiding in basement and other two playing immersive thinking its Splinter Cell and their Sam Fisher, no gens done after 10mins and i was glyph hunting. Had to sacrifice the basement trolls (since they kept going back there) and chase the other two to gens to do them lol.

Definitely something up with MMR recently, I think they're fiddling with it or making changes. Others have stated that MMR is based purely on your escapes/deaths, and not your contribution to the matches, i.e. objectives, unhooks, chases, etc.

i don't mind going against nurse, even if the team gets stomped, just hate when someone dc's beginning of trial when they realise who the killer is, without even giving the game a shot. I've had it happen on two games today :(

i feel like somethings changed and I'm getting matched up with teammates who use crouch like it's bound to caps lock. Been left to progress well into second stage on hook every other game, while the killers not even near me. People aren't even working on gens, just huddled together on other side of map hiding 😓 Think i'll swap out Bond for Kindred, it'll be better for my mental health 😭

It's sadly just part of the game, may not be very sporting/fun but it's a tactic regardless. Not going to lie, it sucks to be tunnelled out or left in the situation to progress on hook, only to be smacked down as soon as you finally get unhooked ha. Just don't take it personally, you're just a random survivor to the killer.
Maybe the gen time increase, base BT, and OTR will help with this, we'll just have to see.

I'm survivor main and I tried playing Legion yesterday for first time, I use the bunny outfit (my favourite cosmetic in the entire game) and no perks because I just want to practice chases as Killer, went by exit gate while looking for pallets to break during egc, and all 4 survivors there tea bagging lol. Lesson learnt, I just stay in the middle of map now until they finally leave haha. Did find some survivors tend to hang around until very last second though, wish people would just take the win and leave already.

I think past 1mil you do still get some points, no where near what you earned at the end of the trial score board, but I've seen my BP go up slightly before I noticed I was at the cap and spent some.

I'll be honest i'll go to the killer and see if they're willing to farm a bit if someone's dc'd for no apparent reason, like after being downed once.. and we have a few hooks already and literally no gens done. If they hit me and chase i'll just try to play out the game, some BP is better than none. Purposefully dc'ing just sucks, leaving the remaining players in an even worse situation.

4 seconds of aura reading IF the survivors are 40 meters away from you, not in a locker, not behind a gen and without perks that can counter aura reading... decisely not worth it... the only reason that i took that perk was for the %bonus of bloodpoints, now with this feature gone i don't have reasons to take this perk at all...
wow, i never actually knew you could hide behind the gen to counter bbq! well i feel silly, too late now i guess haha
