As an RE fan, love it of course. As a map in DBD? Still undecided as I've only got to play it a few times. I will say, I did not like playing against Trickster in those long hallways. I also get lost pretty easy, even if I do know the map from playing the RE2 remake. Extra doors/windows/drop downs get me turned around pretty easy and me and my teammates always seem to struggle to find gens. I'm sure it'll get better over time though.

Luckily it's been a while for me, but not long after crossplay came out I was facing pig after pig with speed hacks (they always wore the outfit with the black leather jacket). I could never loop them for any length of time and confirmed there were no speed boost perks. Whatever software they were using must have been caught though, given that after a short period of time, it suddenly stopped and I've never seen it happen since.
I'm sorry to everyone this happens to. I cannot think of anything more childish than grown adults paying money to be able to cheat at video games....

The Devs hyped that they were going to be doing more in this and the Halloween event by cutting other content. I thought this would be more in terms of gameplay. Instead we got what would have been an amazing chapter if not for it the horrifying levels of lag that it's brought and a rehash of the same event/cosmetics from last year. The giveaways are a nice gesture, but that's a very fleeting thing that doesn't add anything special to the event itself.
I think one of the worst aspects of the this whole thing is the lack of any community oriented stuff like contests. A 5th year anniversary is a pretty big milestone, yet nothing was organized in this regard. I felt like an idiot in another post how excited I was to go out and get stuff to make an entry for the yearly contests only to be left going "uhhhhh, wait, what?"
I laid down some money for the RE chapter since I've been a huge fan since PS1 RE3 release as a kid, but after I finish up my tome I am putting the game on the back burner for other stuff. Kinda done with the cycle of hype and letdown, it feels like an abusive relationship, lol...
-
Dang, that is really disappointing. I didn't care about the prizes so much as seeing all the really cool stuff that people put together every year. Hard to believe with a big milestone year that this got left out...
-
I am currently rank 8. Already made my own post and commented in detail on other posts, but for me, it has been outright horrible. I made it out of 2 matches today out of about 20ish. If I don't have teammates DCing I have campers. Even had all 3 of a team try to save someone with Yui's perk to help them, and didn't realize until too late they AFK'ed knowing their were dead. So we all ended up dead.
And to add salt to the wound, I legitimately earned the "Left For Dead" trophy on a Tombsone Myers and didn't actually get it on the last match I played...

Wasn't harassing. Or being snarky. Just correcting an error in your statement. I have an aversion to hyperbole.
I agree it sucks when you are eliminated from the game early. But also think the killer is under no obligation to do survivors any favours. My solution. Move on, forget it, and hope for a better game.
Thank you for the reply, tone and intent is always tricky on the internet. And usually I do just move on, but I've been trying to play for the last 5 hours or so and it's consistently been like this. Normally I'd just take a break, but I'm trying to get through the Tome/Rift since I stupidly paid for the pass before I got to the end of it. Some of the onus is on me as I seem to be a glutton for punishment. =(

From my side every game is gen rush city with 4 survivors that know how to loop really well and constant frame drops so even when i catch them i dont catch them.
Bubba time
I play a lot of Killer too and I do understand the frustration of this as well. I was a killer main until I started to struggle really badly even with killers whom I used to be good with. Not sure if that's the disparity of being on console and up against PC or what, but I know in Red Ranks the games are much faster and much more intense and to a degree, I enjoy that. Not so much when you feel like you can't get to survivors at all. So please don't think I'm one-sided on the issue, balance goes both ways and I absolutely will always make the argument in favor of both roles.

Killers can't hold the game hostage. Next.
But you can engage in behavior that essentially shuts a player entirely out of the game at the start. Taking hostage it might not be, but it is seriously flawed gameplay. If this were a Battle Royale style game, maybe this wouldn't be such a big issue, but when any reward is locked behind the length of engagement in the match and elements outside your control (RNG and Technical issues) take you out instead of your skill, that is troubling and should be addressed.
Also, kindly requesting less snark? Kinda dealing with enough of it right now. Always happy to engage in constructive chat, but all out of mental resources otherwise (anxiety/depressive disorders, please don't harass, thanks).

Don’t feel bad about the dc. I’m sick of killers getting rewarded for taking the game hostage and making it unplayable for everyone else. The tunneling and try hard attitudes today are out of control. Plus side, it will show devs Exactly what I’ve been talking about is true.
I sincerely appreciate the support. It is so hard to enjoy this game sometimes when you value sportsmanship and the typical response is "Wah, get over it." Maybe it's cause I'm an older gamer and a horror fan outside of DBD, but horror fans are usually such a chill crowd, it's frustrating. Like, I am not going in expecting to win either. But I want an opportunity to have a good match and with the technical issues and the behavior of other players, it's just not happening right now. And during an event (and nearing the end of a Tome...) that really sucks.
-
Jumping in to confirm all bugs in original post on PS4 launch console. Previous bugfix had slightly reduced occurrences, but last patch has caused as much or slightly more frequent/severe stutters/frame drops/temporary desync.
I am also trying to track DCs in my matches to determine if they are intentional or not, but the number of both Killer and Survivor DCs is significantly higher since the last update than the weeks I'd been playing previously. At least half seem to be occurring at unexpected times for an intentional DC (while healing, chasing, etc).
-
Depends on if you are on PC or Console. Console is incredibly bad after the Resident Evil Chapter release. Prior to this, I personally thought the game was in a great place technically (stability, features working as intended) and a decent state gameplay wise (though issues with killers and perks still be over or underpowered in Red Ranks). Other than to farm bloodpoints, the 5th Year Anniversary has been a pretty paltry offering thus far.

First of all, Congratulations!
I think I'm personally liking the idea of #3, traditional dress with a horror palette! I'm just visualizing now an idea of a blood point bouquet; craft flower stems (maybe spray painted black), with little foam blood point triangles as part of the bloom (easy would be pre-colored red foam, or more advanced, a slightly thicker EVA foam painted blood red!), and little Entity claws coming out of it, made out of moldable foam (or polymer clay with wire armature if small)!
Whatever you decide, I know it'll be an absolutely wonderful day!
Thank you thank you thank you! Some really great ideas here that I can incorporate too! I forgot how nifty the blood points look.
Dang, brain is now bursting with ideas. Thank you again everyone, for both the congrats and suggestions! Much love to everyone here!

As for your cosplay, I’d say go with something that will compliment his cosplay. So maybe something like Kate’s dress or even Meg’s rift dress. Since you said your hair looks like Cheryls you could definitely pull this hairstyle as well!

gasp Horror Bride Susie cosmetic when ;)
I totally am going to spend some time thinking about what twisted crafting Susie would put into her wedding outfit. If something good comes of it, I will totally enter it in the next community contest!

Just wanted to say thank you so much for all the kind words everyone, it really means a lot to me. <3
I think I have a great way to incorporate the bloody party streamers. I am going to build a canopy frame for over the guest seating (planning for outdoors, hopefully weather cooperates!). Along the isles, some Spirit inspired glowing haunted lanterns, then drape the BPS across from isle to outer side.
Cake wise, I'm going to do a test run on an idea I have for the 5th Anniversary contests. It's also going to be modeled after the Spirit and is going to be Blue Velvet cupcakes with a toasted meringue top and bloodied sugar glass. I have done an escape cake in the past though, so it's an option I will keep that in my back pocket!
This is all going to be a ton a work, so I'll have to see how ambitious I'll be, but I have always wanted to make a Sacrificial Hook. I could form the archway out of two of them, but that one's gonna be a biiiig maybe.
I will totally keep you guys posted with progress pics if you like! And here's some pics of us and the stuff I've made and will incorporate.
DBDcollage.jpg -
While I think the limited-time code is a bad idea, this is basically the same thing Overwatch does, but you earn sprays via watchtime of selected streamers (though they have updated to anyone streaming OW recently).
There is nothing wrong with promoting their community members. They, like everyone, are trying to make a living, and Behavior is trying to reward that partnership.
Take it from someone who has struggled with compulsions to collect and complete things in games; if you are willing to harrass, threaten, scream about, or generally act age-inapppriate over a couple polygons and textures, you need to do some reflection and maybe seek help.
It's disturbing that this kind of behavior has been normalized in the gaming community.
-
Glad to see this reported. It is definitely a Plague specific issue. I have played other killers before and after my Plague matches that run smoothly.
The teleports seem to place you back at where you started to charge up your vomit as you complete your attack. I also experienxed sound and visuals cutting out as I got too close to a survivor (though that may be a Midwich map problem, not sure).
It feels like it might be tied to the hit validation system, as if it's registering the charge of the vomit at the beginning of the swing of an attack, but that's more of a gut feeling based on the behavior of the bug.
-
I have the same issue on PS4. Multiple killers, happens inconsistently. If I drop the survivor first, I can immediately hook after I pick them. However, this mean losing survivors who are last minute hooks or unwanted slugging if I know I can't make it.
-
- You're math is off. Way off. Each hit to down is -5 HP x 3=15 (85hp). Hook is another -5 HP (80hp). A self-escape after that would be 65 HP after a single hook IF the killer chose to hook. At that point, they could slug. That is part of the point. Now 1/3 of the player's HP is gone after a single chase. Not only that, you don't even HAVE to down with this system. You're still thinking in terms of hook states where a chase is successful when a player is downed. Downing also become a choice. You could instead break off a chase at any time and still be rewarded for the hit. This is absolutely unlike the hook-based mechanic where, in essence, if you lose the survivor they can heal up and you gain nothing. In this scenario that HP lost is lost, period (with the possible exception of gaining a very small amount back through add-ons).
- Guaranteed unhooks are not BS because they are no longer the main focus of the killer. Not only that, they come at a huge cost, the equivalent of chasing long enough to do 3 hits worth of damage and what would amount to a long period of chase.
- I didn't say they had to be removed, but they could either be only a single Mori rarity or that they could instead become an inherent ability of all killers, similar to Pyramid Head's Final Judgement. Then, they would only be available at a very low HP threshold to prevent knocking people out of the match so early. Please also understand, this is a starting point. Lots of things would have to be looked because every change affects everything else.
- Plenty of games follow this. I don't know CS:GO, but I play Overwatch. All the maps are consistent and knowing which characters' abilities benefit different paths to objectives and learning map layout is a skill. Random maps could become a Casual Mode, which this game so desperately needs for variation anyways, with Ranked Mode being presets.
- Let me clarify, because you misunderstood me. New ways to hide or traverse the terrain, such crouching through tunnels under walls, building new locker assets that match maps, etc. For example, when Dead Dog Saloon was introduced, the new sage brush asset became a new way to hide. These items would be in pre-determined locations, but they would be new ways of interacting with the map. And yes, those new items would also be pre-determined. That concept may not be perfect, but it was a start of an idea. There are other ways you can change pace too, but I'd have to sit on that a little bit longer.
- Again, hooking is a bonus...see other points...
- I don't know why you are being so rude about this point, I literally just put a bullet point up. There are all kinds of way to create a voting system. There are ways to not get repeats, let's a single side dominate, etc. The point of leaving it up was for discussion.
- Circumstances change.
- Ok? Again, you've got a really narrow view that "because 'x' happens, everything else stays the same and therefore its awful." I don't agree with the band-aid approach of Behaviors game dev theory. The idea here is fundamentally changing the structure of the game. With it would come a ripple effect of changes. Some features, perks, and mechanics could go away. Many things would have to be reworked in response. Some might be added. I'm not sure what to say about your sarcastic remarks. I just know I've seen posts of new players who feel frustrated at the level of grinding just to get close to having what they would like on their character.
- A: There's a lot here to address...But my playing as the Hag is part of what inspired this rework. Some of the most even paced matches come from playing her, often getting 2 hooks on most or all survivors and everything coming down to the wire at the end. That's the feeling I'm trying to replicate across the board for all players, regardless of who they are playing. B: You would hook survivors because, while they get an (not free, but 15 HP cost) escape, if you did your job, they might be too low of HP to get off the hook (if they don't have 15 to expend, they stay there till rescued or no longer able to be rescued, though this may need tweaking). C. Bloodpoint offerings could be earned through good gameplay instead of the bloodweb. Brown and yellow addons are already nearly useless and are mostly just filler for burning through your web. Heck, you could have a whole new character written into the lore who, instead, teaches the characters the skills and fortitude needed to survive in the Entity's Realm. D. Yes, I failed to mention keys. I'm a human being who occasionally omits things. It happens. E. It's almost like you don't have any idea how to have a respectful conversation with another human being.
- Some Final Thoughts- I posted this because I thought it would be fun to have a discussion and exchange of ideas. I worked on a AAA title as a debugger so I thought my thoughts and opinions might have some value or perspective. But apparently no one in this community can actually talk to another person with any level of respect. Almost every time I engage with the community I come away feeling horrible. It's depressing enough what the world is going through right now, god forbid I just want to kick around ideas about a thing I like. Thanks. Hope this made you feel good about yourself. I'm done with this community.
-
Would you guys mind taking a look at my post? I started writing out a rework of the game mechanics and I think I found a pretty fair way to balance Moris. Granted, there's a lot of changes that would have to go with it, but I am hoping the devs might find it interesting and workable.

None. I save my shards for cosmetics. Plus I don't like the idea of not paying for new content. New perks and mechanics are the meat of the game and I feel like if I was working on a game myself and I didn't get paid for that core aspect of my work, I would be disappointed.
-
Hi, I have been playing survivor today and had 3 killers disconnect, but they didn't seem like rage quits as they were doing well during the match and were not throwing the game, stopped, etc. A friend also experienced a random killer disconnect as survivor.

Submitted it to steam, I tried two more games an all it did was turn into how I should kill myself against a streamer group, I am mad every time after every game. This is not fun. Your community is not fun. Its completely counter balanced against killers which is the real main draw I had to the game. It sucks. I don;t want to feel bad after a game, I already have enough going on to feel bad about I don;t need it from a game.
Its repeated streamers or discord groups with all matching names an characters. The match making is so unbalanced I don;t understand how the developers let this ride. Its just awful its the worst I've seen in a game that looks like they're actually trying but its just not functional.
Edit: This community is poison god damn.
I'm so sorry you are being treated like this. I have personally tried to be a voice of reason here on the forums and peoples' responses to that speak volumes for how bad the toxicity is. I am on console, so we don't have chat, but I know you can turn it off in the settings for PC. If you can't get a refund, but want to give it another shot, maybe you could try making a posting on here asking for nice people to play with.
Other than that, I don't know how to help. Even AAA devs struggle with managing toxicity, so I don't think Behavior has to tools or manpower to implement anything else. Their current reporting system is incredibly sub-optimal.
-
Just a little FYI, cause I get tired of seeing "it's just a game" or "you're thinned skinned."
Some people have thin skin for a reason. Mine is a legitimate and severe anxiety and depressive disorder.
I have no problem losing. I do have a problem when people try to put me down because I'm not good enough. I already spend a lot of my days beating myself up over not being good enough. I play video games to have fun. I like to be competitive. But I don't like people going out of their way to make me feel bad. My anxiety and depression don't let me "get over it." And I shouldn't have to feel as if I can't do something I enjoy because other people choose to be hateful.
But you know what? Being kind and respectful costs you nothing and could mean a lot to the person on the other side of the screen.
Be better.
-
I'm not sure why people are so against it. On the surface the games seem a little bit kiddish, but the series has gotten a lot darker as it's gone on, especially a lot of the violence that's implied. And I mean it's no more childish than Chucky being a kid's doll. It plays on the childhood fear that a lot of us had of Chuck E. Cheese and his creepy pals.
Plus there's so much lore and so many cosmetics that could be done, even several map iterations if they wanted. And I'm not gonna lie, I think grabbing a survivor, stuffing them in your suit, and crushing them to death with the spring locks would be absolutely brutal.
-
Thank you for the thorough answer!
-
I disagree Fibijean. While the randomized element is mostly absent, this is only a shade off of the psychology of the gatcha games. While those rewards are completely random, the end goal is the same for people who are compromised in those areas: the desire to obtain all of an item. While there is clear progression in the battle pass, the item is not unlocked at the player's discretion. You give the example of buying clothes on clearance? This would be like being forced to buy 1 item on every rack that precedes the item you actually want. And only if you have enough time and/or money after you get those unwanted items can you think of getting the thing you want. While this is not random in the traditional sense, it is random in relation to that which you want to obtain as you did not choose its order.
Secondly, the amount of time it takes severely outweighs what the item is worth. Here we run into that of the Sunk Cost Fallacy, which is especially exploitative of those suffering addiction, and is most likely the basis of the World Health Organization's decision classify over consumption of video games as a mental disorder. Once you start investing time working towards the items you want, you may struggle to stop. All people are suspect to some degree Sunk Cost Fallacy, but those who struggle with addiction may not be able to quit an action until completing the task they invested so much in (completing the Rift). You can find many examples on the forums of the amount of time required to grind these items. Two to three hours a day, 7 days a week seems to be the case. This is absolutely excessive. But if that weren't bad enough, that person who struggles with addiction then has the option to overcome that fear of "missing out" by opening up their wallets. This often means spending money they don't have, because a person suffering from addiction will be lucky to only have one. All of this is an open industry secret. Companies consult the experts in order to extract profits.
A fair system is: I want item A, I pay x amount of money for item A.
A less fair, but still equitable system: I want item A, I earn x amount of in-game currency for item A.
For a Battle Pass: An item of low rarity is earned for completing a low skill task. An item of high rarity is earned for completing a high skill task. The task for the given rewards is chosen, not part of a sequence.
Problem is, that's not as profitable.
-
Thanks, I must have overlooked that. I haven't played much of Legion since that first initial nerf, so I must have forgotten that caveat.
-
Honestly, it's just a detrimental to the killers. Gen grabs are almost impossible on dedicated servers. Plus trying to hit anything with Huntress, Deathslinger, and Plague can be incredibly frustrating.
-
They were hit with overwhelmingly negative feedback the 1st battle pass they did. They don't care. They want you to pay money for the chance to earn items. Then, when you don't succeed, they want you to either pay more to finish it or buy the cosmetic so many months down the road when they release to everyone.
It's exploitative on purpose to extract the most money they can from you. It especially preys on those with mental health issues, like addiction and OCD. If you want a really good read, google Exploitation and Loot Boxes or Exploitation and Gatcha cell phone games. Don't quote my exact numbers here, but it's something like 6% of the entire player base of a game spends more money on in-game loot than the remaining 94% COMBINED.
It's a practice that has been made illegal and classified as gambling in certain countries.
-
So sorry this happened to you. I had to fully disable messages and friend requests on PSN because of people I have played with on DBD. The last person before I did so threatened to stalk me until I was permanently banned from PSN and Behavior. I wish people understand just how unhinged they look to everyone else when they act like that...
As for interacting, I WISH blocked users didn't appear in my games, but those systems don't work like that. Like was said above, get whatever evidence you can, report them in game, and then contact steam/PSN/Live and Behavior.
AND god forbid it ever happens, if you get doxxed or threatened with SWATing or anything like that, PLEASE get a hold of your local authorities.
-
What works for you doesn't work for everyone else. Upping the sensitivity that high while I'm *not* aiming would be nauseating for me. Not only that, there is no per killer settings. I am accustomed to the default setting on other killers and don't need it higher. I upped to 70% and it helped for shooting, but I could barely stand it when not looking down the sights...
-
I had kind of an epiphany tonight on the game. I think as long as the game is asymmetrical, the fun is going to be just as asymmetrical. Either 4 people are having fun or 1 person is having fun. Rarely do both sides seem to have fun anymore.
If the killer does bad, survivors teabag, rapid blind, click and taunt forever. If the survivors get taken out quickly, they are queuing forever only to not have fun.
I feel like the problem is that the game design is broken, it's been really thoroughly discussed why, but nothing's going to change for one or more of these reasons:
1)Executing the ideas are outside of the developer's skill level.
2)Creating such changes would require rebuilding the game from the ground up, a costly investment which may not pay off.
3)If the game is profitable in this haphazard state, it's cheap and easy to keep adding band aid fixes and staple on more DLC.
While there are a lot of people who just complain on here, I see many people come up with solid ideas from a game development standpoint, yet these things don't happen. I used to kind of white knight for the devs, but not anymore. The game just keeps getting more and more broken, and as a killer main, I'm tired of bearing the brunt of bad design choices.
The sad part is it's hard to kick something that you've sunk so much time and money into, desperately wanting the game to be successful. And I guess it is, but not for the right reasons.
-
Eh, I think I really needed that extra sensitivity to flick for my hits. Maybe if I keep playing, I can adjust. But there are mulutple skill levels in the Red Ranks. And it you get those really highly skilled SWF, which for me was almost every match last night, it was impossible.
They were picking loops where even if I got my shot, the chain would break before I could get my hit or they were getting the pallet throw down even though I clearly hit my shot first (I know, latency....). When I would be ready to hit for a down, they body blocked, scattered. Too slow to catch up. Had a gen grab, but again, latency let the survivor go. Gen pops.
Around the time Spirit was released, I was a Red Rank killer for like, a year straight. Change after change and now unless I play Freddy or maybe Ghostface and Wraith with top tier addons are the only way I have a chance to do well...
-
Instablind flashlight, 3 man body block, 4 people loaded with 2nd chance perks, autoaim exploit, impossible loops, almost instant sabo, and latency prevents gen and hook grabs.
Nerfing the Deathslinger's aim is the last straw. I put up with the grindy battle pass, all the other nerfs, the grindy blood web. I LOVE the lore of this game and its characters, but I am HATE PLAYING at this point, trying to convince myself I'm having fun.
The survivors can have the game. May their queue be infinite.
-
I played more tonight. Now that survivors are accustomed to him, it's right back to be nigh unplayable. I am tired of this constant bait and switch. Every time I feel like I am starting to have fun I feel like the devs have to come in and kick us in the teeth.
-
I was having so much playing him until the nerf. I give up. Killers just aren't allowed to have nice things...
-
I would second this. High skill players easily dodge his shots at even a moderate distance. As a rank 9ish killer, getting paired with red ranks, I was doing pretty good with him, but I also have a ton of hours on FPS games, so I felt really comfotable with his mechanics.
Please also keep in mind that console players will be hit harder by changes like these.
-
I play a lot of FPS games, so he was comfortable right away. I'm not the best with him, but I like catching survivors off guard, especially dragging them from high ground. Gameplay aside, the aesthetic of his map is amazing and Caleb and his backstory are brutal.
-
This would be really nice. Getting the perks and addons you need can make or break killers right now. This would make it a little less painful at least.
-

I think it’s a buff to toolbox’s tbh yes they have less charges but have you seen how fast a gen can go with them?
I have been playing killer quite a few hours since the update. I am getting thrashed constantly. I used to be a consistent red rank killer for about a year, now I feel useless. The more they tinker, the more unstable the game gets. In the hands of skilled survivors, these "nerfs" are huge buffs. And with the sabo change, SWF denied me at least 4 hooks in a match they sped through. I only got kills because they tried to 3 man bully me out of a basement hook as Leatherface after gens were all done...
-
Yeah, the BP offerings remind me of slot machines. You place a dollar bet, you "win" and the machine makes a ton of noise, lights, etc. Then you look and it's like, 12 cents back. A net loss.
From the buzz around the forum, it seems like people are generally not that fond of the blood web, especially new players. Yeah, it seems fun, it ties to the lore of the Entity being a fickle, unpredictable thing, but in the end it's grindy, wasteful, and frustrating.
I would much rather go RPG style and allot skill points into abilities or something. And then create another way to earn those BP bonuses, such as leveling.
-
Thank you guys so much! The hotfix seems to have reverted movement back to its previous behavior and I am back to being able to hit with the same consistency as before. Really appreciate you guys getting this out so quickly!
-
It really helped in overwatch. You also get 1-4 lootbox periodically for good ranks. Small Irridescent shard bonuses for high reupations could be a great incentive. Also, keep awards anonymous like overwatch, so as to prevent the dota issue. Can't stop them saying in chat, but you can always disable or screen cap and report.

I have been playing a ton of killer on PS4 today and it is miserable. It's like survivors have maximum sensitivity while mine is the same. But the amount of auto aim is also the same, meaning I can't even adjust for my swings. Survivors are 360ing me right out of sight. I am missing about 80% of my short swings on red rank survivors. Probably 95% of lunge swings. I just about had a breakdown one match, constantly getting tebagged and clicked at, taunted, body blocked. Missing hits I KNOW I could make before this patch. Pair this with the gen grabbing glitch that disabled all my abilities and I just can't...

Ooooh! This sparked another thought! If they added a queue # or some indicator to let survivors know the killer to survivor ratio, do you think some survivors would switch? Maybe a banner on the main menu which indicates either "Recruiting Killers" or "Recruiting Survivors"?
They did this for a very short time in the form of a queue timer for the role, but pulled it the next update. No idea why.

Well, 2020 is officially here. I think my resolution is going to be to play some single player horror games from the backlog of stuff I have/Resident Evil 3 remake when it comes out. If you guys continue the discussion, hopefully the devs will take an earnest look at the feedback.
Have a great New Year everyone!

You don't need to grind all the way around.
It doesn't matter after sometime, things here is about cosmetics.
Just set a time for playing, play some matches then stop.
Blackx2:The problem, as I stated, was that I paid money for the Premium Rift. I only was able to earn back about 700 of the Auric Cells I spent. It was made out to seem that if you played regularly, it would be no problem earning those back. And that's just not true.
Also, as I mentioned, it is a mental health issue, like telling compulsive gamblers or alcoholics to just spend 20 bucks or just have one drink, it is very, very difficult. I'm personally working on it, but until I'm in a better place, it means walking away.
KillerRaccoon: I love Overwatch too! The monetization aspect is much better. The only thing that gets me there is SR grind. So close to getting to Diamond as support!

Thanks for your reponse. I'm always apprehensive to post given how often people get attacked, so I appreciate starting us off on a good foot.
I really wish the industry as a whole would seek out mental health professionals to understand how these tactics hurt vulnerable parts of the community. But also have a frank discussion of the real costs of game development and how perceptions of the $60 standard don't hold up.

So the next time you eat a meal you don't like, make sure you don't criticize the cook. Doesn't matter that you paid for it, become a chef yourself first before you dare criticize them. See how dumb that sounds?
You're getting mad over words you're putting into my mouth. Everyone can critique something, regardless of their skill or knowledge. Critique. Critique is not the same as insults. But if you had a client who , with zero knowledge about your craft started telling you how to do it right, you honestly wouldn't be upset?
That's the statement I'm making, not what you are trying to twist my words into. But knee-jerk misreadings are a hallmark of modern thinking, and it's frustating.
Ugh, I think I might just be too old for this crowd. Time to hang up the hat and chill with the boomers.
