The question is if BHVR can make a good incentive for players to want to play it. Bloodpoints and Iri Shards arent good enough rewards for getting a high rank in this hypothetical system.

Glad it's not just me that's been put off Myers. I believe it was GeneralV who was telling me once how Freddy getting reworked put him off playing him, and I didn't understand at the time but I do now
i find myself playing survivor alot more and finding it more fun now that i have a group of friends to play with. Even if we lose at five gens i have a better time than playing killer. Two years ago and the roles would have been reversed, i dont know what changed.

When i load up killers nowadays i just end thinking, why do i even bother? My main Myers got character assassinated and i dont find him fun anymore, ghostface is stuck in D tier and the devs refuse to buff him, i dont enjoy playing blight or nurse so i've just fallen out of love playing killer. I tried playing other killers but its just more of the same. Half of the time i just DC as i just cant be bothered to deal with the pressure of the match anymore. I've even started running NOED more just so maybe i can get a kill at the end of a ten minute slog. I just wish i could find the passion i had for the role like i used to.

Kinda funny that perk tiers are a load baring wall and if we get rid of tiers it all destroy dbd as we know it
DBD perk tiers is like the TF2 Coconut JPG, remove it and everything crumbles i guess.

I find it strange that Demo didnt get some buff/changes this update. Hopefully they are saving it for a future patch.

I'd give it to either Wesker or Pyramid Head. Both have powers that require skill to use and to those who can play them well are beasts without feeling like they are overpowered.

Getting rid of pregame lobby would lead to the death of lobby dodging which would be a huge plus imo. But that would come with the downside of not being able to do last minute changes to your build, even though you can do that before you ready to queue. I feel like the pregame lobby should stay just in case you want to change something at the very last moment and dont want to go through a whole match to change your build.

I like unknown and playing against him, but now he suffers from the good ole power creep. With Vecna 2 Electric Boogaloo out now i'm afraid we wont see much of him anymore as Vecna kinda mogs him with his m2 being easier to use and less punishing. Unless you spent your youth doing trickshots in Cod4 and are already cracked at playing Unknown i dont really see much of a reason to play Unknown over Vecna.

Unfortunately, BHVR almost never release data about escape rates or kill rates, so we really have no idea what recent average kill rates are. The only thing you can do is dig up some older data that they have released in the past.I once compared BHVR to Smaug from the Hobbit because they both like to hoard things. One likes gold, the other likes data. And both wont share their precious stockpiles for those in need.

Imo they should have just adjusted Eyrie or Garden if people hated it, what sense does it make to just make a smaller version of the map just to benefit 'insert role here'? I'm no map designer but wouldnt it make more sense to have just fixed the map or killswitch it later to fully rework it instead of just making a worse version of said map?

It feels like Breakable walls are just a failed experemint at this point. Dead Dawg was the map they went overboard on the idea and after that they kinda just forgot about them.

M1 killers arent making money so why should they bother buffing them? Look what happened to Myers, reworked him the second they found out his license was going away and made sure to coax a couple more bucks outta people. Money talks and thats why Ghoul is still the way he is right now.

Being able to change the color of auras should have been done a long time ago and i still dont know why its not a thing yet.

Mikey has always been fine when it comes to bugs. Even after his rework that turned him into Big Chucky he is not buggy at all or has minimal bugs at the least.

Nah not really. Unless something really bad happens with the balance or something like that the last year of screwups will just become the new normal for DBD.

Doctor not because i think his addons are bad, its because i feel like one of his rarest addons basically be all the others addons merged into one is kinda lazy. Why bother using this and this when i can just slap on Iri king and call it a day because its just like 5 addons in one. I know there isnt much you can do with doctor and idk how you would change Iri King to do anything else but i just feel like this one addon kinda just invalidates alot of his other addons.

i can give ya a couple of wanted collabs from me
- Diablo- i have said multiple times i have wanted Diablo in the game its my most wanted Collab and it was on the 2024 collab survey so it has a slightly higher chance of being added
- Dead Rising- my second faviorite zombie franchise running around DBD as Frank West taking pictures would be pretty fun. Hopefully it would come with the mall as a map
- The Darkness- a comic book character, The darkness had a pair of fps games released in the 2000's the second one was really brutal and having him in the game would be pretty cool
- Gears of War- while the later games devolved more into action, the first gears game had moments of horror. Just look up the Berserker and see what i'm talking about

EA would make BHVR pay a huge chunk of change to have any of their IP's in this game. Not to mention they canceled a Dead Space 2 remake because the first remake didnt sell well enough even though it was a perfect remake. EA does not care about Dead Space and are too greedy to make a collab worth it in the end.

Its best to just detox with some other games. Like when i took my break from DBD after Haunted By Daylight this year i started up another playthrough of Fallout NV. Just play a game that you can just sink your teeth into if you dont want to play DBD right now.

I have an entire build on Pig consisting of Hex Face the Darkness, Infectious Fright, Ultimate Weapon, and Thwack with both Gear addons. Its usually can get you a bear trap kill or two if you make sure to protect the hex well enough.

Not really in my case. I see alot of people talking about how bad tunneling is but I dont really get tunneled or slug and like i said in another post when i do its most of the time my fault because i'm not that good at the game even though i got a p100 character. I just play to have fun even though i solo queue.

Everytime i an tunneled it is my fault because i am hot garbage at the game. Though i will say i rarely get tunneled it happens like once maybe every 15-20 games. I dont bother to run meta most of the time because being the Medic Bill or running around as Scene Partner,and Bardic Inspa Nic Cage is more my style. Its frustrating when it does happens to me but it happens so rarely for me that i just kinda go move on to next game but i do understand most peoples frustrations when it happens to them over and over again.

I dont like playing or going against him now. For the longest time he was basically my main he is my most prestiged killer at p27. I know he was not good before but as a fan of Halloween he was perfectley adapted from the film and strangely enough it feels like i did better playing as him before this rework. But now with this update he just feels so off, Michael never full on charged at his victims first movie its how Laurie managed to survive against him because he walked everywhere. Now in the big 2025 where everyone is sick of dash killers Michael Myers is just Chucky if he was tall and his killer identity has stripped away to make room for a dash.

I'm on a extended break but i would come back to the game quicker if they just fixed all the bugs for both killer and survivor role's. But being realistic its unlikely that even 25% of the problems will be fixed by next March.

Absolute Joker could work in DBD, even though we have not seen that much of him yet. What we have seen has been disturbing to say the least. The panel where he's wearing the "coat" is horrifying.

This does bring up an interesting question. How would hex totems be intergrated into 2v8 would they make a 2v8 specific hex or just port over something like NOED?

when i started playing in august of 2023 i mained killer, it was months before i played survivor on a daily basis. Everything was great i was having fun with the role until houndmaster came out and it just idk got unfun. Every patch starting from Doomed Course has left me feeling less and less thrilled to play because it just started feeling like a stressful chore with with 4 people poking me with a stick and laughing at me. Now with the gens speeds and all these freaking planks of wood everywhere the role is pretty much dead to me. I dont feel satisfied winning and i dont feel satisfied losing. I'm tired man.
