Just played a match on PS4 as hillbilly.
PS software update did not fix lag.
DBD hotfix did not fix lag.
Devs, fix your game.
-
Trickster needs it the most, as he is easily the weakest killer in my opinion.
Trapper deserves it the most as he has been in a bad state overall for the longest time.
Legion and clown could definitely use some overall small buffs as their power is only good at 1v1 chase and they could use something to help with map pressure.
Billy needs the overheat removed and an addon rework to get rid of the meme addons.
Demo and Freddy need addon reworks as many of them are useless.
Actually, all killer addons that inflict blindness, hemorrhage, short term oblivious, or short term broken, need to be looked at. They're all pretty terrible.
The stalking killers need some kind of buff, especially Myers. Stalking has been a pretty lackluster power for a while, and now with the wraith buffs spine chill is seeing more use. That perk alone on 2-3 survs in a match kills myers, ghostface, and pig.
-
I haven't seen a single Nemesis since the patch dropped.

I rarely use franklins but when I do, its not really about destroying item, but making it stationary somewhere and knowing that survivor will come back for it very soon.
Btw does anyone know how many charges new Franklins burn out of the item? Like how many times you have to hit someone to deplete it fully
It burns the charges over time now. The longer the item sits on the ground, the more charges it loses. So theoretically, you could drain an item after only hitting someone once if they don't come back for it for a while.

As soon as they enable cross progression, sure. I'm not gonna lose 3 years of progress and start over.
-
Yep. They borked their game.
Again.
Like they do every update.
Incompetence wins again.
-
Optimization is a lie.
It's not coming.
They said years ago they were planning on fixing it. They've done nothing. The devs lied to us.
In a few days they'll send the mods in to shut down all these threads and ban people who talk about it.
But remember, buy those $kins!
-
These Devs hate console. Always have, always will.
They've lied for years about upcoming optimization and getting the game to run well on last gen console.
It's never coming.
Now go buy the $10 chapter and skins.

MMR has been a vast improvement for me. I'm purple ranks for both killer and survivor.
Used to face constant red ranks as killer, lot of 2 hook games. Now it's more even. Averaging 2-3 kills a game. (Still get some he's that are over in a minute with one gen done, and some where I don't kill anybody, but they are much rarer now.)
As survivor, MMR still thinks I'm better than I am, as I still face a lot of red rank killers, but I do survive a little more often. I'm not that good at looping, so I go down pretty fast, but I'm not facing the top tier killers anymore, so I think it's better.
-
And if you continue to play Pig, and have the same results, you'll get harder and harder matches. That's what is supposed to happen.
Everybody is losing their minds after one or two matches. smh
-
I'm not sure if I'm misinterpreting what you're saying, OP, but the MMR hasn't been active a few days. It got activated 2 hours ago.

you would think but we have yet to get a response from a dev. My only hope is they're at least reading the complaints and understanding our frustration but one comment from them would help.
They'll likely do the same thing they did to the last mega thread about this issue. Wait for the complaints to grow unignorable, and then a mod will come in and say "We hear you, but don't have anything to report about this" then they'll close the thread and do nothing for a year. Then a new mega thread will begin about this issue because they haven't done anything to make their game play better on last gen console.

Myers and Ghostboi are really struggling since the Wraith buffs.
Since Wraith has kinda sorta become meta, I see a lot more people running spine chill, which kills Myers and Ghosty. Hurts Pig pretty bad too.
Those 3 stealth killers need the most help in my opinion.
-
... and sometimes there's pallets at all of those pillars. It's almost like the maps are randomly generated each match.
-
Buff his tier 1 by getting rid of his shortened lunge. He's already slow, why does he also have to have a tiny lunge?
Also, rework his add ons. Stalking speed is pretty useless. The mirror that lets him see auras at 16m in tier 2 is awful. The one that increases stalk rate on the obsession is underwhelming even if it is thematically appropriate.
-
Hag gets the hate cuz Hag doesn't get looped.
-
1. I don't slug for the 4k unless the last person is right in front of me when the third goes down.
2. Pick up my phone or book and wait.
-
The yellow bottles were a complete failure. I almost never use them and have literally never seen them used while playing against clown.
They should have given him something else, his chase power was already fine.
My suggestion was that he carries jack in the boxes he can put on gens. Survivors working on the gen eventually set off the box once the gen hits a certain level of progress. This makes a loud noise notification and releases a big cloud of gas.
-
Strong combo, but it takes up 2 perk slots (on different people yes, but still 2 slots overall) so that means less of other meta perks.
-
You can always DC if 12 seconds is too long to wait.🙄
-
$10 it's coming for the 5 year anniversary. It's probably also part of the cause of the rank reset bug. They're testing it to hopefully release it soon.
-
MMR isn't active, rank based matchmaking is messed up due to lack of high rank killers. This has been a problem for a long time. Nothing new.

simple, the devs know that killers will never willingly opt into going against SWF without a massive incentive
The killer should get a 10% BP bonus for each survivor using SWF in a match.
This will compensate killers for the more difficult match, and the prospect of extra BP might encourage people to play a few more killer matches, helping with survivor queue times.
All without actually changing the balance of the gameplay.

Trickster isn't even that bad. Don't be rediculous
Trickster is the only killer who is better off completely ignoring his power. He's a 110% killer with a ranged attack that's only good at short range, where 9/10 times it's better to use melee.
So, F- tier.
-
Trickster needs to be in his own F tier.
-
Trickster needs his own F- tier.
I'd move Hag up.
-
You know there are 4 survivors right?
-
Wiggle was only added to prevent constant basement hooks, so no, increasing escapes would be ebad thing imo.
-
This has been brought up many times. We had a 30 page thread about it that finally forced the devs to take the drastic step of..... deleting it and saying they would maybe look into it someday but don't hold your breath.
My only hope is for cross progression from PS4 to PC, but that seems to have the same priority level as making the game actually run well on ps4.

The thing is, putting down a trap takes too long and people see you do it, and then they can just trigger it on the edge of it, and you have 0 chance of catching them
Idk why she's rated so high, she's terrible at high ranks, VERY easy to counter
Her add on that increases setting speed is one of her best. Let's you put down traps mid loop.
If you're doing it while the surv is watching, think about it as a zoning weapon. Make the surv either run in a bad direction or over your trap. Either way you probably win.
Also, make sure to put down a bunch early as you patrol. Nobody is likely watching then.
And, at high ranks, EVERY killer is pretty counterable. Unless you're good at nurse or spirit, you'll have to work hard to beat a skilled, coordinated group.
-
If you're getting looped a lot as Hag, then your trap placement is off.
Map knowledge is key.
Go for common areas that survivors run through. You can even leave pallets down of you put a trap on one side of it. I get lots of people that way.
-
Because he is a manly man, full of testosterone and violence.
-
My joints give thanks.
-
Just had a match where 3 out of the 4 survs were using this perk and they made a big no-hook zone right away. Managed to get them all eventually, but it was really annoying to have to slug and camp because there were no hooks in the middle of the map.
Best part was after the match they claimed they weren't exploiting anything.
-
For the 10 millionth time: MMR is not active right now. Rank based matchmaking is still in effect.
-
Blight is good on PC. On console, playing him is pain.
Pain and suffering.
Endless, eternal, agonizing pain.
-
I would love that. Saves time too. Don't have to keep going back to the archives between every match.
-
While I don't think it should be base kit, I would like all mori's to go down one level in rarity (and therefore become cheaper) and have the BP reward for getting a mori drastically increased.
Then they won't feel like a waste of BP.
-
Roar doesn't start till she's moving, and faster transition to crouch are all I think she needs.
-
They have a rather dull play style.
Hit M1, chase with Victor, get the down. Hook with Charlotte as close to where you left Victor. Victor essentially camps the hook while you search for another surv with Charlotte. Over and over.
Or slug everyone, which isn't super fun either.
-
I think you need to take some time off and do something else if you're this worked up about the sun...
-
Finally! My thumbs will be very thankful!

You're saying what is absolutely obvious. And in my opinion there's a plenty of stuff which was really harmful for dbd and those were removed. Why it is a bad idea when it comes to the basement?
Cuz it's not really "harmful". Camping all the time isn't viable if you want to win, get BP, or pip. The vast majority of killer's will quickly learn they need to pressure the other survivors or they lose.
Your problem is with camping, and removing the basement won't solve it.

Well, not really, you get the gens done, you leave your friend behind, escape the trial and get -1 pip. So, I don't think so.
No pip for the killer either.
It's a boring way to play and not fun for survivors either, but my point is that if the killer wants to face camp in the basement there is nothing you can do to stop him.
Either get your gens done and get out, or give the killer an easy 4k by constantly rushing the basement.
At least if you gen rush, the camper doesn't get points either and maybe will decide to start actually playing in order to get more BP and pips.
-
As with any kind of camping, but especially basement camping, the answer is: Do gens. If you feed the camper, that's on you.
-
Every killer is viable at low ranks.
The game is killer sided at low ranks as new survivors don't know where to run and how to loop effectively, making the killer's job easy.
A no-addon wraith that refuses to cloak can get a 4k against noobs.
-
Remove recoil, reduce wind up time for throwing knives.
-
Personally, I think the best buff for him would be to reduce the windup for his knives. I mean, Slinger has basically zero windup and his ranged attack is much more powerful, so why does trickster have a windup almost as long as huntress?
-
The removal of the trickster and my 9k shards back?
