Yes, the MMR was tested fairly recently for a 24-hour period. Currently there is no further info on it right now, but the official socials and forum will let everyone know when there is more information to be shared.
MMR is like Bigfoot; sometimes there are reports of it slouching in the distance, a grainy shot or a footprint. Enough people believe it is out there that we keep hope alive.
$10 it's coming for the 5 year anniversary. It's probably also part of the cause of the rank reset bug. They're testing it to hopefully release it soon.
