i would say it is length of loops. they're too safe. In my opinion, playing territorial == 3 gen. it is just another fancy word for camping.

I disagree. It's not really 3genning when you make the choice to give up a gen in far away area with lots of pallets and safe tiles around it. On most maps there is at least 1 gen that I won't even try to defend. It's not quite the same as 3 genning when you ignore the existence of Badham's house of pain or Dead Dawg's main building.

I was a bit exaggerating earlier. Obviously you can hardly ignore half the map without 3 genning but giving up a shack gen and not chasing there because it takes too long works without doubling down on a 3gen. And since chances are you are going to lose at least 1 gen for your fist chase anyway, then you don't really have any reason to go there.

  • What about Devour-Gorgon? Or Doctor with impossible totem build?

oh yeah for sure. i agree with all of that. pallet camping in particular is really bad weakness in the game. it is the bane of most basic m1 killers. in particular, it counters clown's and freddy power but many survivor do not abuse safe pallets correctly. there is coup the grace that mildly tries to make this less effective of strategy but lunges are still relatively easy to react due to travel time.

Oh darn. I forgot to mention you can also run around his snares and avoid them. Which in larger loops costs you less distance than the hindered effect.

Actually give me a few hours and I can probably come up with a few more counters to him. Like self-care. Which basically allows you to wake yourself up anytime you're injured without having to leave your favority loop.

But I agree that pallet camping is way too effective for how easy it is. I've found that this is mostly due to the abundance of pallets on most maps, which forces many killers to play more territorial. Not necessarily playing for a 3gen but if you can ignore 1 half of the map it's a lot easier and more manageable to deal with this.

freddy only had two good add-on, swing chains and jump rope, -action speed add-on. they got nerfed, rest of freddy add-on were always terrible and nothing really changed for 2+ years.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3539771#Comment_3539771

probably because they thought his snare anti-loop was oppressive. that is why they changed snares. I guess?

Makes sense. After all, a weaker, more limited and easily counterable version of Clown's bottles is pretty busted.

Seriously, it makes no sense how hard Freddy is countered by basically anything.

Healing: Forces him to hit you twice. When he already struggles to get the first hit.

Staying injured: Allows you to do gens instead of healing. And there is always MFT. Anyway, he is going to have a hard time to keep up with you.

Alarm Clocks: Literally removes his entire power in chase and slows the cooldown of his teleport. Also makes you immune to falling asleep for 30 seconds.

Wake-up Action: No need to run to the nearest Alarm Clock. Just find another survivor that is not asleep and have them wake you up to remove his anti-loop and slow the recovery of his teleport.

Missing a skill check: Instantly wakes you up. At the cost of -10% progress on whatever action you were performing and a loud noise notification. But also counters Freddy's power completely.

Predropping: He doesn't deal particularly well with predropped pallets. Just look at Clown without his yellow bottle for comparison. So he will have to break. He also has no way to speed himself up or slow you down to catch up after.

Pallet camping: Nothing he can really do against it. Other than hoping you are so bad that you can't even drop a pallet.

Shift + W: What is he gonna do? Teleport in front of you? You can see the charge and it only works on gens.

Actual looping: If you are awake, then he has no power. If you are asleep, then you'll only make it around the pallet once before you need to drop it.

Gen rush: Completely counters every part of his kit, since it is mostly paired with Adrenaline. No mobility because he can't teleport to finished gens and no anti-loop because you are awake.

Exhaustion perks: End many of his chases instantly because he has neither the power nor the time to catch up to you and engage in a chase that will take him forever anyway.

Synergy with perks: Freddy is not allowed to have synergy with perks other than Pop. Spirit Fury and Hubris no longer work with his dream pallets.

Getting hooked: Wakes you up. I mean, I get it you are literally hanging from a meat hook but why exactly does he counter himself by doing his objective?

Dying: You're dead. Too bad. But at least you can't fall asleep anymore, which would decrease his teleport's cooldown. Not really a counter in that sense but still funny that there is actually a detriment for Freddy killing someone.

It's only natural that he starts the match completely without any power as well. Now that I see this list, I feel a bit depressed. There is only 1 thing left to say:

    aan6bp3id1j01.jpg

  • The sad truth is that they don't really design maps with specific killers in mind (kind of understandable with 33 killers in the game but still sad). Last time they did was the rework of Eyrie of Crows and I'm still looking for the grass to hide traps in (seriously, where is it?).

Toba Landing has at least a few spots where you can hide a trap, so I guess it's one new map that isn't quite as terrible?!

Do you understand what a BUG is?

It is something that is not intented by the developers. Balance cannot be bugged.

Skull Merchant is not bugged, she just has horrible implemenatation.

Garden of Joy is not bugged, it just has bad implementation.

The locker glitch was a bug.

Also, with MFT it does not become an infinite. It just takes 5-10 minutes to catch someone as an m1 killer...

So no, it will not be killswitched.

Are you sure? Because I have lost chase with 4.4 m/s killers there. Even without MFT. So I'm not sure that it shuts down after any amount of time.

If it does take 5-10 minutes to catch a survivor, then it is basically just as strong as a real infinite. Because at that point, the killer has to leave anyway and the survivor can use it until the game ends.

  • It's not like you can't play without a flashlight. Most survivors run medkits or toolboxes anyway.

And why would they be faster to fix this, when they servers are shut down? I'm pretty sure not everyone on BHVR is working on this fix at once, so they wouldn't have more ressources anyway.

Haddonfield removed from rotation because it's actually bugged and they were working to rework on this map.

Garden of Joy has no bugs atm and there is no rework for it as well.

    Sad but true.

I just can't understand how this map has not only gone to live like this but wasn't changed in 15 months! I would rather play on old Haddonfield than this monstrosity. Haddonfield at least took the skill to use it right. Garden of Misery doesn't even have that. Instead it offers some of the best camping spots in the entire game. Truly riveting for both sides.

Why does everyone hate Skull? She’s my new favorite killer now. I don’t even have to 3 gen lock, and I still win. She’s the only defensive killer done correctly. I liked Knight, but he doesn’t even work anymore. Made For This lets players outrun all of his summons.

I think only survivor mains hate Skull. If you’re a killer main, or in the middle (Me), you wouldn’t hate her. Unless you’re in solo queue (Also me). Skull in solo is a nightmare. As potatoes and lemming hide all day. For those complaining about holding the game hostage. That’s part of the killer’s job. To keep you locked inside the match until they get you.

I am a killer main and I hate her with a passion. I have had the... Let's call it the "SM experience" 3 times so far. 2 wanted to play chess and 1 started more chase oriented (until we had finished 3 gens). Neither of them were enjoyable to play against. Playing: "Let's break a 3 gen" for 40 minutes is miserable and so is: "Run from loop to loop and go down no matter what, thanks to free haste."

You can't break her 3 gen (in solo queue) and you can't loop either. For me it's not even fun to play as her. I feel like I'm not even playing against real players with her because you basically reduce the survivors to bots. She has no skill floor or skill ceiling and beating her takes immensely more skill than actually playing her.

I would rather play against a gen hostage Doctor with 6.1.0's CoB, Overcharge, Eruption combo than Caitlyn 3Genner now. Hell, I'd take Forever Freddy over her. Freddy would at least chase you. She holds the game hostage by not even interacting with the survivors. This is not part of the killer's job. The killer should chase the survivors not wait until the game shuts down.

  • I have kind of the opposite experience. Since 7.2.0 I've had a great many opponents that just were nowhere near my level. I am not some professional basement dweller but I shouldn't play against people that have just installed the game.

And this has happened on both survivor and killer. I've also had 1 solo queue game with a legacy 3 Dwight with more than 7k hours. That guy was so unhappy with matchmaking that he gave that baby Doctor a free hook.

  • Blight's hugtech wasn't considered an exploit until recently. They knew it was in the game since his release and they were fine with it. Kinda like CJ techs and locker techs. And even then, it is not game breaking. You can still play like normal. It's just that his power does have some unforseen side effects.

For Caitlyn 3Genner I can only say that it's not an exploit. It's just how her power works. I personally wouldn't mind to see her killswitched but I'm not even sure they are within their legal rights to do that in this case. Because they would simply killswitch her due to public demand and not game breaking bugs. And over an extended period of time, since a rework takes quite a bit.

  • Nah. Flashlights are fine as long as they don't make you invincible.

I mean then what would you suggest, instead of just saying no its bad they need to overhaul it, i dont care how, but giving no examples is pretty vague

Make it 4 perks for each side. Or make it so that you can't have perks in the shrine that you already unlocked for all characters.

  • Honestly, I don't even know why the Paintbrush exists in this way. Are we really that affraid of Freddy actually having a power?

This addon would be pretty damn oppressive on Blight. Oh, wait.... Blight does have his power from the get go.

  • Yeah, I'm with @Pulsar on this one.

I'd rather die in 2 minutes with no points than getting held hostage for 50+ minutes with 20k points.

In my honest opinion this is by far the worst killer they have designed so far. Her lore is convoluted with a bazillion little things that lead nowhere, her visual design is the laziest thing I've seen them do, her sound design is pathetic beyond reason, her animations are uninspired and flat out wrong (nobody walks like that!) and her power has no skill floor or skill ceiling and requires about as much brain power as breathing.

Her only redeeming quality is the different weapons and animations that she has with them. That's something I'd like to see for more killers.

  • Don't forget Myers. Tombstone Piece can counter this crap.

  • Wesker and Oni are pretty balanced.

There are other killers that I would also consider balanced like Huntress and Plague but there are some maps where they just can't use their powers to their full potential, which hinders them greatly.

I do not consider Demogorgon balanced at the moment. He is a great killer and always great to face but honestly a bit weak. At the start of the match Demogorgon has no mobility and first needs to set up his portals. This also means that he can't go anywhere he hasn't been to before, which forces him to give up some parts of the map by default. Not great. His shred is also not the best. It's not all that hard to dodge in most cases, it doesn't work that well on many loops (circles, squares, bushes and other terrible hitboxes) and the pallet break saves you a whooping 0.34 seconds (not counting the charge time). His addons are also pretty terrible. Most of them are not worth running.

  • No offense but I hope we never cross ways when I play survivor.

I wasn't content with cheaters holding me hostage, I am not content with locker exploiters holding me hostage and I sure am not content with Caitlyn 3Genner holding me hostage.

I am not usually one to condone disconnects or hook suicides (in fact you'll find me pleading for harsher penalties) but I will run up to a 3Gen Merchant and force them to kill me, if it becomes clear that we are not getting out of this anyway. Enjoy your wins but don't expect anyone else to put up with it.

  • Until it's either killswitched or fixed I will only play Bubba (facecamp these dicks), Artist (crows go through lockers), Pyramid Head (can hit through lockers too) and Tombstone Piece Myers (can stalk and mori people that do this).

So far I've had 2 groups that used it to hold me hostage and a bunch of people using it to get an advantage.

People who showcase it should be banned

People who hold the killer hostage should be banned

People that are just fooling around with it shouldn't be banned.

Fooling around as in: "Every time the killer comes near I glitch myself into a locker and hold the game hostage by doing it"?

  • Please no.

That is a terrible idea. The shrine needs a complete overhaul. I don't care how but it definitely needs to be changed. It was fine when there were only 50 perks on both sides but now this is really not helpful.

A shop for map offerings is one of the worst things they could ever add. I don't need to be sent to Garden of Misery in every single game that I play.

Cheaters use out of game methods.

This is something that the devs fail the fix and people can do in normal gameplay.

Abusing this bug is against the rules of this game. Otherwise there wouldn't be an option to report people for using exploits.

    I rest my case.

  • I was held hostage by a group that exploited this glitch earlier. Good times.

Makes you question, if you should play basement Bubba. Because apparently Bubba can hit people that use this glitch.

  • @random1543 said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3538445#Comment_3538445

Nobody should be banned for devs mistakes. They are playing the game as installed. If anyone gets banned over this it'll be ridiculous when the devs can kill switch flashlights in a hour.

It's not up to the player base to not use glitches because you can't fix your game. The Fast vaults where technically a glitch, is everyone that did a mega fast vault before patch gonna be banned?

Is everyone playing xeno right now gonna be banned because cooldown glitch?

By that definition even cheaters shouldn't be banned. It's not their fault that the anti cheat in place isn't great.

If you abuse this kind of stuff (and it's obvious when someone does), then you deserve the consequences. You know that this is not intended and you know that it makes you invincible.

I just came out of a match with 3 people that last second switched to flashlights and held me hostage. You'd think the last person would do gens but nooooo! Once they realised what was going on they went afk. So I had exactly 3 options. Go afk myself, wait for the game to force close or disconnect. Great! I decided to go afk and when I came back I was disconnected and didn't get any points. At least the 3 ######### with their flashlights got a bunch of BP each.

  • I mean, Billy is not the strongest killer in the world and right now he has some different issues with the meta but placing him below Freddy and Clown is a bit of a stretch.

Freddy is arguable the second to worst killer in the game.

I also don't understand how Demogorgon would be that high. He is a decent killer but that's about it. He doesn't excell at anything and he has a terrible early game. Low to mid B-tier would be more accurate.

Pyramid Head and Artist in C-tier is a hot take for sure. I would love to hear your reasoning because I would place both of them in A-tier. Artist is potentially the third strongest killer in the game.

  • @Yatol said:

I won't go into detail but it is possbile for survivors to glitch themselves into lockers using flashlights so that they cannot be hit or pulled out.

  • @ratcoffee said:

they were just in a foul mood and taking it out on you. not fair to you, but you gotta recognize there's nothing you can do about it, sometimes people have it in their head they have to be unreasonable

You're right about that. But even looking through this thread you can see some different interpretations on what tunneling actually means. This a lot like what I expected. Because from an outside perspective it's hard to tell, if the killer is actually trying to tunnel or just stumbles upon the same survivor multiple times.

    @Pulsar said:

    Depends.

I generally soft tunnel people. I'll try to two hook two Survivors before going after the others. Let's me swing control back easily if I feel a momentum shift coming.

Hard tunneling is either 3 consecutive hooks or 2-1-3

I agree with this. I don't really consider soft tunneling as tunneling quite yet because to me tunneling always follows the intention to eliminate a survivor early on. But this is just semantics.

Although I would say that a death at 5 hooks can still be tunneling, if as @C3Tooth said, someone takes their hook stage instead. It's also possible to get another hook before the first person is unhooked and then targeting them again.

    @Xxjwaynexx said:

I think its very subjective, I played as nurse( perkless and no addons) they brought me to the game, i spawn in and see Feng tea bagging me already I down her but don't pick up due to flash light nea makes a mistake and I down her I go back hook Feng and then nea DCs her partner also DCs. There's also a Kate whose stays I play normally and chase whoever I see. I noticed one of the bots haven't been hooked and Kate( suicides on hook) is dead the other bot is dead and Feng is death hook. I purposely tunnel the last bot to give Feng hatch and low and behold in end game nea calls me a trash tunneler and tells me how bad I am at the game, and then comments that I faced camped him and his friend on my steam profile. Point is people see what they want to see.

My rules are if you use bt to body block for the unhooker then it's fair game,

If I let you go because the unhooker disappeared patrol gens and happen upon you again it's just bad luck

I play pretty similar to that. If someone demands my attention, then who am I to ignore them?

But that doesn't quite answer the question. Do you consider this to be tunneling? Or do you follow the definition of 3 hooks, 1 death = tunneling?

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3538392#Comment_3538392

I may have expressed myself poorly. When I say weak link, I'm not referring to the weakest individual in the team (there will always be one). I'm referring to one individual whose game sense is nowhere near their other three teammates; things like knowing when to go for an unhook/who should do so/if and when to reset/who should bait chase/where to run the killer/which gens to pressure/whether to take a hit may not be evident to them. I would argue that going for the right play at the right time is more important than being a god at looping who always makes poor decisions (and thus for killer AND survivor).

As far as the hyperefficiency part, I also disagree. I really don't think teams need to be as efficient as they are currently against 95% of the killers you'll play against in pubs. I use solo queue as my time to work on challenges (mostly very stupid and inefficient gameplay, like stalking the killer's TR, or doing every totem, etc.). Despite the fact I waste a lot of time, typically, we'll still finish the gens very quickly if we coordinate to do so. I had a game like this yesterday with some randoms where I did every chest on the map while everyone else was messing around. We had a pretty good Legion as our killer. We had 5 hooks without a single gen done, then we decided to hunker down and start cranking them out. We 4 outed at 5 hooks.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3538403#Comment_3538403

I disagree that survivors need to be "so much better than the killer" to win even as solo queue. A 3-gen SM is a different story, but you'd be surprised how many of them will get overconfident after someone DC's instantly and they finish tunneling out the bot. In fact, I had a SM send us to Midwich yesterday (with the chess grandmaster build: overcharge, oppression, sloppy, eruption with shotgun speakers and the skill check addon). Someone instaDCs because it's SM on Midwich (can't blame them) and she tunnels the bot in 2-3 minutes. I spent the rest of the game BMing her and baited her into a few chases. My teammates were extremely efficient on gens, hopping on every time she left, and they were able to finish all of them and 1-outed. Bit of an anecdote, but no one plays perfect (killer or survivor) and killers will get sloppy if they figure they're playing against solo queue.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3538407#Comment_3538407

Coordinating to avoid a 3-gen is another thing that can happen organically with a little gamesense. This is typically what I'll do at the start of the match: look for the nearest gen and start working on it. Did I spawn with someone? I will point to the gen and signal for them to do it, then run to the opposite side of the map (or any critical gens) and start working on a gen there. You also don't NEED to run xyz on every survivor (and if you feel the need to do so, you may be the weak link). I've had teammates that ran No Mither, and ONLY No Mither, that juiced up killers for 3-4 gens. Again, knowing what to do, and when to do it, is more important than amazing plays or bringing strong perks.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3538454#Comment_3538454

You are literally saying what I said in the OP. Looks like we're on the same page.

Oh, you misunderstood my point. There are certain killers that are way more effective against solo queue. And in these cases, there are only 3 options for solos to win. Either they get lucky, can somehow communicate via pointing and waving (very unlikely) on a level close to a casual SWF, or they are so much better in the 1v1 that they shouldn't play against this killer to begin with.

You do not need to be especially good to beat most killers in the game but SM, Sadako, Pig and Pinhead can become real nightmares to face in solo queue. Because these killers punish uncoordinated groups disproportionally. The same can't be said for Trapper, Clown, Freddy, Doctor, Myers and so on.

Solo queue is completely fine as long as everyone is pulling their weight and you don't go against a few specific killers. But when this happens, the lack of communication becomes a real issue.

  • It falls under exploits, so it is reportable. Whether or not they will actually ban anyone for it is a different story.

So far, I've had 4 people abuse it and I'm 100% fed up with it. The next person that does it is getting some quality time with Bubba.

I really hope this gets fixed soon because it seems that more and more people are aware of this.

Edit: So far I've camped 10 people to death, that used or tried to use this exploit.

Playing more survivor than killer at this point but still hitting irridescent 1 at both, for whatever that is worth. I am not sorting them within each tier, that is just the oder they came up on the list.

Nurse is high A but it's laughable people say that's the strongest killer with a straight face.

Ghostface is very close to S in the right hands.

Doctor is a B for killing but an S for scoring easy points and generally just running high scoring games, so it kinda depends what your priority is.

Dredge is C overall but like S++ on the Racoon City Police Department maps and F- on the farm ones. Even most of the C's are honestly perfectly fine they just don't have any particular thing that makes them stand out as super strong to me. Some of the nastiest killer players I know run people from C and do just fine for themselves.

Trapper is satisfying to win with but yeah...

I'd play against Nurse 100 games before 1 decent Legion, which is still as busted as it's been for ages people just got sick of complaining. Legion is still all the proof I need that BVHR developers don't play their own game.

Mother of all hot takes! That is a lot of potential for a discussion.

I will keep this brief because this is a thread about Xenomorph's ranking and not tierlists overall but if you'd like you can always create a new thread.

Nurse is the strongest killer in the game. No doubt about it. Because Nurse doesn't play the same game as everyone else. You could have 10000 pallets and 12000 vaults on a map and Nurse would still be able to power through. Hell, Nurse could even deal with infinite loops. That is something that even Blight could struggle with.

Legion is nowhere near S-tier. When survivors don't make stupid mistakes you pretty much never get the 5th hit and are reduced to a M1 killer with no other power than occasionally delaying survivors. Good luck catching a good survivor around shack or pretty much anywhere on GoJ.

The same goes for GF. Even in the right hands, you are not always going to catch survivors off guard. And when you don't have the element of surprise you are only a M1 killer without a red stain in chase and still need to get the hit on a marked survivor. If they even let you mark them that easily.

  • my-image(6).png

This from an average to good killer perspective with a range of addons in mind. Some killers would rank a bit different, if I were to rank them with only their strongest addons in mind.

I consider Xenomorph a solid A-tier killer overall.

  • I agree with most of what you said but you can't deny the advantage that comes with coordination in this game.

Solo queue groups can perform very good as long as everyone is alert and knows what they are doing. Even more so, with perks that actually help to play in a team. But at some point solo survivors have to be so much better than the killer to actually win, that these kinds of games shouldn't happen all too often. I. e. beating Caitlyn 3Genner in a game of chess.

Just yesterday I played a very good solo queue game. We powered through the first 4 gens with relative ease but we weren't looking out for a possible 3 gen. It worked as a self fullfilling prophecy. We rushed ourselves into a nasty 3 gen on Thompson House against a Dredge with Jolt and Pain Res. I want to make it clear that this was 100% on us. That Dredge did not try to force us into a 3 gen but he did what he had to in order to have a chance to win.

It took us a bit until we found a rhythm and pressured all the gens at once with special focus on one gen that was a bit more secluded than the other 2. If we had had any means to communicate this would have been a much easier task. We still got 3 people out the gates.

I don't think a voice chat is necessarily the best option for solo queue. In fact, I would prefer they never add it. I don't need to listen to a 12 year old screaming slurs into their vacuum cleaner, thankyouverymuch. There would also be the problem of a language barrier. Most people speak English but some are more fluent than others. Instead I'd prefer a chat wheel with some simple call outs like "Heal me.", "Gen nearly finished.", "I'm running towards XYZ." and "Come to me." (obviously with a marker where you are at).

  • To get value out of Nurse's Calling you need a killer with mobility to even get around, spread hits and scout people healing and also a stealth killer. Otherwise people will stop healing when they hear your TR and then you run around with 3 perks.

On top of that, Nurse's Calling is very unreliable. What if survivors stay injured all game and play into their Adrenalines? Or what if they heal in secluded area of the map? It's also information that you don't always need. It might help you get into the next chase a bit quicker but chances are you are going to see them heal while you are already in chase with someone else.

It's not a bad perk by any means but it doesn't really serve one specific purpose and that's why people tend to run different perks.

  • Kate. I kind of like her.

And Wraith. I'm not sure why he is even here in the fog. Poor guy isn't really evil or anything. It's just sad what happened to him.

24-meter Terror Radius in Crawler Mode gets reduced to a 16-meter Terror Radius.

Also going into tunnels disables all Flamers so people will know if you are in the tunnels, their motion sensors also beep aggressively when you are leaving the tunnels, MaA gives you more flexibility in your approach.

Ok. I see the point but it still seems like a bit of a "don't fix what's not broken" thing to me. It's not like survivors will abandon their gen every time Xeno uses the tunnels. And if they do it's free slowdown + info for the killer. I'd use pretty much any info perk over MaA.

Don’t sleep on rapid brutality on xeno. Pair it with STBFL and it is soooo strong.

You could also go with STBFL and drop Rapid Brutality. 8 stacks is still enough to get a M1 into M2 before the survivor can make it pretty much anywhere. Both is just overkill in my opinion.

On the topic: Can anyone explain to me why they think Monitor is such a good perk on Xeno? I think it's highly overrated because you're going to approach survivors from inside the tunnels anyway. So your TR is actually a non factor when it comes to engaging in a chase.

  • I was reported for allegedly working with the killer multiple times. I remember a game against a Knight who hit me half way through shack. He looked at me in shock, started shaking his head and left without picking me up. After that the game continued like normal. Later on I was lucky to be the last remaining survivor and after the killer downed me they gave me hatch. The other survivors were not happy about this.

I also had a game as killer against a 3 people SWF, who did 10 minutes of non stop macros. It got so bad that I had to turn off the sound completely because I was getting a headache and felt nauseous (sensory overload is not fun). After that I got a lucky down in a good spot and camped that guy to death. The other 2 followed suit. The last survivor had nothing to do with this, so I gave them hatch. Guess what. We were both reported for "teaming up".

So I'm happy they don't go around banning people left and right over this kind of stuff.

  • Old Freddy. That one was at least a faithful adaptation. He was unique and, from what I've read other people say about him, fun. Sadly, I was not around to experience this version of Freddy.

Current Freddy has nothing to do with the actual movies. I mean Dream Snares?! Come on, BHVR. Surely you can do better than that.

  • Trickster: Maybe if he was a completely different killer. I just don't enjoy his play style.

Caitlyn 3Genner: Nothing. I hate this killer with a passion. The only way to win me over would be by completely reworking every single aspect about her. And I mean EVERYTHING.

Freddy: 2 options. They either commit for the meme and give us a Sharp Hand Joe cosmetic with the lullaby: "Where did you come from, where did you go, where did you come from Sharp Hand Joe" or they go back to his old kit and make some adjustments.

Hag: That's a rough one honestly. I enjoyed her a lot more before survivors could remove her traps by default.

Twins: Give them an addon pass, get rid of the 7 seconds cooldown on Victor after a successful down, make survivors actually want to get rid of Victor and most important give Victor one of Feng's bunny sweaters.

Three petrified oaks and I bet you the killer still makes it to a hook.

I fail to see how that would be a problem.

What you suggest, is to make the killer lose by default whenever someone drops a Petrified Oak. If they can't hook you simply because of an offering, then how do you expect them to do their objective? It is way easier to sabotage or bodyblock a hook, then it is to get a down. If this would guarantee you that the killer cannot hook the person they carry, then that breaks the game.

With that being said, I have seen some rare occasions with no hooks around for miles (no Petrified Oaks) and 2 hooks so close that the survivors on them could shake hands. The former happens mostly on Badham around the main building and Midwich and the latter can happen on RPD and Midwich as well.

  • I encountered this bug for the first time today. I saw a Nicholas Cage repairing a gen and spinning while still performing the animation. Then, they seemingly teleported and pointed at me. Later they explained to me, that they were actually walking around invisible and would only become visible when they pointed at me or dropped a pallet.

  • How about we buff some actually weak perks instead? Like Overcharge, Call of Brine, Ruin, Predator, Beast of Prey and so on.

    Eruption is quite alright.

I find it harder to run her after the update. 3 blink nurse wasn´t a thing for a long time. Now its coming back. Revealing the position when she teleports through you, also is very inconvenient. Those are buffs to me.

3 blink Nurse was always a thing, so I'm not sure what you mean.

This video is from before the second addon pass:

    I mean 6.5.0

She received a nerf in the form of special attacks not counting as basic attacks anymore and a addon pass that buffed her.

I would hardly call that a buff. Her strongest addons were deleted and replaced with lots of mediocre addons (which is enough in her case) and some strong addons. But omega blink Nurse is gone.

The last time she got a buff was way before that in 5.5.0. And that was supposed to be only a quality of life improvement.

The average M1 Killer will not be playing against Survivors who use the perk to its potential.

Also, the thing with Freddy is likely ping related. Same reason you can fast vault against Clown, Pinhead or Doc.

This game is seven years old. By now most survivors have learned how looping works. Of course not everyone is completely immune to mind games but MFT still makes a big difference. Even just holding Shift + W and making your way over to the shack is a pretty safe option in most cases, thanks to MFT. And once you're there, its not all that difficult to loop with MFT either. Play like you normally would and MFT is still going to help you out with another loop around a pallet, the distance to make it to the window etc.

I doubt it was ping related. Everyone in that match had a good connection and that was more than a full second after they stepped into the snare. Even if the hindered status had ended right before the vault, they should not have gotten a fast vault (too little momentum).

    Finally. That's good news.

Hopefully they address all his busted addons without ruining his basekit like they did with Billy.

I think there is no way around some base kit nerfs for Blight at this point. Otherwise all of his addons would need to be pretty damn bad. I'd rather Blight be slightly weaker at base and have some nice addons still.

But I agree that they should not Billy him. That one was a crime.

Freddy been touch so many times already tho? They don't know what to do with this man. He been trash, op, than back to being weak again. At some point you just gotta leave him as is.

The funny thing is that they shadow nerfed him a few more times. Dream pallets used to have synergy with pallet perks. That's no longer the case.

At this point I'd rather play old Freddy (with some slight adjustments) than our current version.
