Honestly? Nothing.
It might sound strange but I don't really miss past version of DbD. We can say what we want about the game, but I don't recall a certain point where it was all better.
I began playing when the Huntress was out, so I kind of saw it all and yeah. I don't miss hatch standoff.
I don't miss facecamping (the OG one where you couldn't physically unhook the survivor). I don't miss the hatch never closing, or having conditions to spawn.
I don't miss EGC not being a thing and playing Hide and Seek forever. I love all the killers and the quantity of choices and variety between them.
I don't miss old BNP and Moris.
As much as we complain about the game, for we wish it to be better, I believe it keeps improving.

I need you to watch me leave.
I'm not even close to the gates tho. I mean if I was nearby maybe but that's not even the case. Just hold the hand of your friends if you're afraid of leaving alone m'kay?
-
By the way still waiting for that H40 mask Behaviour. I believe in you
-
I can see both sides of this. I'd be sad to see the SM go tho, or any other killers.
Being in a stalemate for 20 minutes is absurd, let alone an hour.
I do find Skull Merchant fun to play tho, surprisingly. Something about putting drones on the fly and having a device tracking survivors is great fun to me.
I couldn't hold a game for more than 10 minutes of stalemate tho. After a while I'll just let people go. Well I would want to kill a few of them but still. Better jump to the next match than remain in one forever. Bloodpoints aren't farming themselves.

Pff, make me.

I like it when you guys run Lightborn. It means a lot of games, you get to run 3 perks the entire game
Actually the number of flashbangs and mines alone makes it worthwhile. That and the look of the survivor who doesn't understand what's happening. Priceless.

To be honest when you can make people losing a match that easy than please killer do tunnel me when i use lithe or balanced landing. Please. I do my best to make you lose the round for free.🤗
Jokes' on you I can lose the game all by my incompetent self. Ha. Gottem.
-
I believe we all have our triggers when it comes to gameplay. Mine are bodyblocking to an extend and sabotage. I hate when someone sabotages me to the extend that I'll remove said player as soon as possible. It can be rationalised that it is for game efficiency but truly it's purely emotional. Getting sabo'd feels like you're about to dig in in your plate and someone comes in and vomit all over it. It's sickening. But it's a me problem.
Also I run Lightborne on everyone so flashlights are my friends.

Yea... and if I do those things to the killer then by all means they can return the favor. But I didn't. And that is the problem. I did nothing to deserve this and yet the killer found it in them to waste my time and be a complete jerk in the process. I don't care what other survivors are doing to piss killers off. Stop punishing a stranger for what someone else did to you.
Innocence, the greatest illusion of life.
-
Tryharding would get me survivor who tryhard more and instead of having fun, having a bad time. Why would I inflict myself with this?
I'd rather purposefully lower my MMR

Tebagging at the gates.
Head-On stuns (especially when coordinated)
Flashlight blinds.
Refusing to leave/go through the hatch.
Bodyblock swarms.
Now you might say "Well, that is all part of the game!" to which I will reply "I agree", but that doesn't make them FUN.
Sadako's mori playstyle, camping, tunneling, and slugging are also all part of the game. But for some reason those are human rights violations and anything a Survivor does is "just get over it, bro".
I have to agree. I mean, I don't mind when it happens - especially bodyblocking, as I understand, but it's so frustrating nonetheless. It's efficient, but not "fun". Then again what's fun for the killer isn't for the survivor. Hence you can't balance around fun.

We shouldn't encourage things that are unfun.
Wouldn't it be be far better if Onryo received buffs to the rest of her kit?
Point taken. But how long 'til it happens I wonder?

Snowman's immune to Trickster's daggers apparently, so screw that.

That is too cruel you're taking it too far. Just kill everyone as fast possible and camp/tunnel.
You have to appreciate the finer things in life. There's no point killing someone in their sleep when you can drive them insane before delivering the swift mercy of death;
-
Depends on my mood.
Most of the time I'm fine letting everyone go if I get them to death hook, as I care more about BPs than gaining MMR. I like my games chill, thanks, bare the occasional challenge that requires me to kill people.
Some times tho I'm obliterating anything remotely on my path. No second chances, no repartition of the hooked ones, no fooling around. I'm here to kill and kill I shall.
I can even be extremely sadistic sometimes, nurtuting hope just to slice it abruptly. Best example is carrying the last one to the hatch, then closing it in front of him, then joking around and carrying them to the gates to let them open it, until they get blocked by No Way Out, and then I down and kill them.
As Amanda said, "No excuses, No equivocation, No crying".
But those are extremely rare instance. And now I have bots I can torture instead. It's better for everyone.
-
Man, I never get bored of watching this "Us vs. Them" mentality of some people here. To quote a Youtuber I like, it's like watching a car crash in slow motion except you've been warned before when and where it'll happen.
-
Jeez, talk about being overly dramatic for no reason.

Yeah but this is a game that can match you with someone who did the tutorial yesterday.
Of course, not saying the opposite, far from it, but I've been in games where the weakest link was still able to loop me long enough.
Eruption's useless on a completed gen, or if no one goes down.

Every time I've seen it, it turns into a boring slog of a game where the killer desperately defends three generators like there is a bomb planted in their necks that'll go off if the gates get powered.
Eruption can take a long walk on a short plank
Actually it's less a bomb and more of an inevitable humiliation at the pillory that is the chat. Which tends to lessen after a crushing and humiliating defeat. And I doubt anyone wants to endure that.

Don't forget that killers can just not chase the guy who will probably last 3 mins in a chase. They know how to go after the weak link, I don't understand their argument. Most lobbies aren't balanced and sometimes even prestige can give you away.
It does depend on how weak said link is, tho.

Use to be but it's now a comp game with a theme of horror and not actually scary
It never was scary, even years ago. It is when you begin, but that feeling fades away quickly.

Yh I'm pretty sure the lore is that the entity resurrects survivors that are sacrificed or die in the trials and wipes their memory too. Untill their soul is slowly drained and erroded unto nothing and their husk is dumped into the void.
I'm not sure about the wiping memories part, because eventually the survivors lose hope, and are then discarded or turned into killer for the Entity (this was something established a long time ago so it might not hold water anymore).
I think it's even more traumatic for them to rather be conscious of dying over and over again, and that the Entity may feast on that.
-
Wesker, because it's freakin' Wesker.
Legion, I love them conceptually.
Knight, I keep playing the ScoobyDoo music in my head, might help.
Pyramid Head, I wish the sound of the knife on the ground was a bit louder Killer-sided.

gotta love it though cause it’s makes survivors to ply smarter.
I doubt deciding to be a pity child and hide in a locker not to survive but purely out of spite to deny an achievement is even close to the definition of "smart"

I do know it is 4v1, I play the game (although I play solo queue and that is at best 2v1 usually). But that doesn’t help me understand why the killer should be able to see who is in the lobby.
16 perks vs 4, you have to be able to prepare beforehand. It's not that hard of a concept to grasp. Each killer perk is absolutely instrumental on how the game will turn out. Thus they must have context. You can literally not afford to waste a perk slot as a killer.

You still shouldn't be losing that much in such little time
Even if you did nothing, I'd still be impressed if they popped 3 gens in a minute considering gens take 90 seconds solo.
Correction, it takes 90 seconds without item or perks, both tools that survivors are rightfully so using. I doubt the math is that simple.
-
He's bad. Like really bad. His power is trash when you want to play properly. We good? Cool. That's out of the way.
I love him to. There's something with his map and design, idk. It made me want to play Mount and Blade and make a character like him. And he has a weird Cleanrot Knight vibe from Elden Ring too.
He's bad but I love him.

1/10. I'd make a better bait in my sleep.

The part that I don't understand is when a team tries these absurdly reckless moves, fails, and then gets mad at me in the post-game chat. Really feels like they're only having fun with the game when they're winning...
Don't get me wrong, I love going against hyper-altruistic "bully" squads who try bodyblocking and flashlight saves more than they try doing generators, I find those the most fun matches DBD has to offer. It just seems like those squads get super touchy and mad about losing even though they're clearly throwing the match for a laugh.
They're touchy because you're not supposed to have fun.

Take care of yourself tho.

Ah, my favourite Pig strat. I love seeing the RBT crutch their pitiful heads.
Game Over.
-
Force of habit, I always expect it personally. Well, at least one hex perk. That's why I run Counterforce + Detective's Hunch. I'm the totem jokey
-
Right, sorry. I'm not totally awake. And a bit sour for other reasons.
Nevermind then, I retract my statement.
-
What's the reasoning behind this. That's dumb. That's just giving a freebie to t-baggers at the exit gates.
Great. Well, if toxic is the name of the game, I might as well play.
-
I'm not being friendly to people who'll taunt me at every opportunity.
-
I stopped feeling bad for people insulting me in chat after destroying me before I even had the chance to say "GG".
-
Not gonna lie I feel like every match is a sweatfest and camping has never been so attracting.

Most Blight's run those add-ons because they make winning easier.
Congratulations, that's the entire point of add-ons, making the killer stronger. Or the items stronger.
-
Sometimes I tunnel when I'm clearly losing and I really want to kill one. Happens. I try to limit it tho.
But most of the time tunneling is because I always end up finding the same survivor or running into them. I mean, I'm not trying to, but what am I supposed to do? Let them go? No.
At best, if it's been too soon since last hook I'll down them and leave them bleeding while checking for other people.
There's also a lot of survivors that want to play hero with the extended basekit BT, protecting the unhooker, and, sure, I get it. But if you want to take their hit, I'll make sure to give you the full run.

shattered hope? i thought they removed it for good so if the killer doesn't have shattered hope then the totem will be replace with a regular totem and you can bless it again?

Just because you lost doesn't mean you should be so sour about it as to take genuine GGs as an insult. All it tells me is you're so deep in toxicity that everything is an offense. Sportsmanship isn't an insult.

Reminds me of that time I made a friend.
He stood by me for the entirety of the gen.

I'm going the route of P3ing all killers as that's what I mostly play and it will make leveling new killers much easier. On the survivor side, I'm doing it as @WorthlessBeing mentioned and running one main survivor then P1ing all the others that I don't play, then leveling up their perks in my main's bloodweb.
Funnily enough I found keeping all killers I don't main as P1 is funnier because a Bloodweb without perks is boring.

Yes, I didn't count any of that. It is definitely may take less time.
I also forgot to add the incentive.
To simplify it for OP: It will take some time, but you don't need to have all characters at P3, P1 gives their three perks at level 1 to each survivor/killer and you can gain the two other levels in the Bloodweb. That's how I do it.
-
@kaeru said:
There ts 29 killers and 33 survivors in game. Prestiging one character takes approximately 1 million bp. So you need 186 000 000 bloodpoints to p3 every character.
If you play 4 games per hour and earn 30k bp per game, you will need 1550 hours.
If you play 2 hours a day, it will take a couple of years.
Not counting the dailies, archives, and any offering that boost BP gained.
-
Way I see it, the perk is pure benefit. You don't lose progression on losing stack, and your great skillchecks actually fill the gen more. Not to mention it trains you to hit them more consistently.
I see no reason why you shouldn't run it.

So basically what I said about favor the shooter system is right. killers get the advantage if they have the higher ping. It's BS and will always make the game unfair.
Yawn.
There's no lag here. She got hit, period. Stop screaming lag for your mistakes.
-
As long as I'm not dead, I keep on playing. Although if my team keeps diving on the killer and getting down I eventually give myself up to the Killer, then they decide. I don't care about either dying or surviving.

Assume every Chris fan is a Wesker Simp.
And I don't need to name myself something weird to show my love for Albert. My Prestige will do it for me.
