That deal has not been finalized and there is other things making that deal to be far from done. So no they can't get anything currently.
-
I have been saying for long time that he would need one more zombie even on normal queue as it seems to be possible now as they are adding two more to 2v8. Before it was said to be a engine limitation why he only had two.
-
I can say on my own behalf that Stranger Things DLC has no pairing of if I continue playing this game. I am not playing this game because of new DLC's even if I do buy them all. I play this game because its fun for me and there is no other game around that could replace it anyway.
Seems like the peak players is around 17000 more already in January than last years January and we are only four days in. So seems like the game is doing just fine.
-
I do random characters and builds that is how I keep my playing more interesting. Still I do enjoy the game still and there is nothing similar to play that has kept my interest.
Its fun when something happens that you did not expect like Moment of Glory healing me full health when being in Trappers trap and because of that not going down when killer hit me while I was on the trap.

Been so long I have seen someone use merciless storm only on myself tbh but that perk is just not that great against survivors that can hit skillchecks tbh.
Funny thing had one last time I played and it does work on some people as I have a friend who really hates that perk as he has hard time to keep up with the checks or he just is not trusting himself of doing them.
-
By Prestige does not tell anything on me as they are too even.
P17: Demogorgon
P15: Wraith, Hillbilly, Shape, Legion, Plague, Ghost Face, Deathslinger, Pyramid Head and Blight
P10-P14: Everyone who has not been listed yet from Trapper to DredgeEveryone newer is lower than P10. Demo is highest as when the old daily challenge system was going I kept getting that "Land 5 fully charged shred attacks" all the time and really started to hate that one. I choose my characters to play randomly so explains the really even Prestiges as I also use the bloodpoints on the character I play always.
If we go by the stats page most played killers are
Twins 30h
Demogorgon 29h
Blight 28,3hIn this same reason with Demo kept getting the daily all the time and same with blight. Still they do get their time with even by random choice. They are not my favorite killers to play and i am not really good with Blight at all. Also have not played Blight in the last 16 killer matches I played most common in those was Wraith.
-
I got it normally playing you just need to get lucky best I got without perks is like 10 skill checks on one gen. Finishing gens fast is not good for this challenge so even hitting skill checks you should not go for great skill checks.
Still you can make skill checks more common by using certain perks like Deadline and One-Two-Three-Four! latter can be used on you by others if you don't have it.
Not 100% if it counts Merciless Storm skill checks so getting killer using that would help a lot.
-
My most played killer is Twins currently but I play all of them by random choice. Still enjoy playing Twins as I find them more interesting than some of the newer killers.
-
Its not just her who does things like that had a Nurse earlier today that noway was in the distance to hit me after a blink and still downed me looked really janky. Even the Nurse did double take when she saw where I was downed compared where she hit.

I have said this few times in other threads about matchmaking in this game. There is always a chance you will end up in a lobby that is not your MMR level. This usually happens when people leave the lobby after its been filled. Game most likely in those cases prioritizes filling up the slots more than trying to match the MMR. So you might get killer who is way higher or way lower in MMR than you are. This can also cause survivors to have one or even several that are not clearly on the same level either. This is of course just my own observation as I play all matches I get as killer or survivor I don't dodge. Usually if I join a lobby where others are already readied up when I join I will usually experience more of skill level differences than in matches where you join with all the rest.
-
I like the freezing of pallets mechanic in the current event would not mind a perk that can do similar thing.

literally a straight up lie
The maps getting smaller is the one thing that people like to state as reason why something sucks even when most of the time they are not even correct as there has not been map size changes for ages or ever on some maps but still the claim persists.
-
Like only change I would be fine with is that you start the match full health but when you first time lose the health state you stay broken the rest of the match. This would give some chance of using it invocations or other tactics.
-
Won matches with it as I do get it time to time with the random build generator I use. Its a perk yes it can cause losses but you can also lose while running all the best perks.
-
You can freeze the pallets that has not been in any earlier christmas season event. So they do update them and add new stuff and have to admit the freezing pallets might be one of the best additions they ever did to change normal gameplay as it can be used by survivor and killer to their own benefit when you use it correctly. You can even do it remotely by throwing fully charged snowball at the pallet.

For the record, Distortion is still a perfectly reliable and consistent aura blocking tool.
An underrated strength of Distortion compared to some of its peers (of which there admittedly aren't enough, in my opinion) is that it tells you what perks the killer is bringing, with a small margin for error. Knowing what the killer has is useful because it means you can start avoiding future aura reads without using a token on it.
If the killer has Barbecue & Chili, for example, one of the more popular aura reading perks, then Distortion using one token on that tells you it's BBQ reliably (as the other post-hook aura perks have extra tells), and that means you can hop in a locker to preserve tokens when the killer's about to hook someone. If you want some extra answers, there are two, though one of them did get weaker recently.
Off The Record gives you 40 seconds of aura blocking after you're unhooked, which is admittedly not nearly as good as it used to be but it can still let you slip away from the hook and reset without being sniped by a random aura reveal. If that's the kind of situation the killer finds you in that's causing you annoyance, OTR is decent.
Boon: Shadow Step gives you a bubble of complete immunity to auras, which means that - if you use it smartly, it's easy to waste time with it - you can get specific generators done without having your aura revealed. If it's killers approaching your generators that causes you frustration, Shadow Step is pretty decent there.
Distortion works in both scenarios, just less reliably, and it's extra good at beating perks that reveal your aura mid-chase like I'm All Ears or Predator.
Aura perks are quite good on the whole, but they aren't uncounterable. They're also pretty plentiful, but your average killer is only going to be using one or two, and it's likely to be one or two of maybe five ish perks to boot, most aura perks don't really see play.
You've got answers, you just need to be able to identify what aura triggers give you the most trouble. They can still give it one more token to have maximum it would not make it op as it still relies of you being in chase to charge it but will reward those that manage to loop the killer and isn't that the point. You can still lose those tokens quite fast even if you can learn what killer has but there is several perks that you have really hard to pinpoint why you lost a token running through this random part of the map. Like Human Greed and Hex: Undying as you can lose those on objects you don't always see around you as they can be behind obstacles.
Shadow Step is one of those really forgotten boon totems but can be extremely good to have if killer is too reliant on aura perks as you say.

I actually checked the wiki for the distances, its more like 40 meters. Otherwise I would not have made a post about it. I'm pretty sure the perk was just equipped to mask that he was cheating. Entire match was sus as hell.
https://deadbydaylight.fandom.com/wiki/Rotten_Fields
The shed is 8x8 meters. So what I said of the distance is correct. Short end that makes two sides of the shed to be about 26 meters and the other two sides 36 meters from the walls of the shed. You can't ignore the building itself and its size and most likely the survivors were not always standing just on the walls. The map is not a square but is about 80 meters long and 60 meters wide so as I said depends what wall and corner area they were throwing towards as two of those corners areas are closer than the perimeter wall on the sides of the building.
-
Isn't using Tab key quite universal to see ping and other players in the match so makes sense to make the change. As it was really annoying to do if you wanted to check it before as you had to hit esc and then chose the right page to even see them match details.
People asked presets and they got it. You seem to be the minority on this one.
Intro loading every time just took extra time for nothing. Everyone has seen that intro million times and would skip it anyway
Its not bugged. You just click the button that you open the charms page second time so it will close the charm popup window and you can use the search bar now to find the charm you want. Its not that hard to do and I found that out quite fast as its should be logical to just test what happens if you click it again.
Equip focus is not needed as you have the search bar and filters to filter the charms. If you did not know its that tag looking button next to the search bar. You can see it in your picture under the charm equip popup window.
All of these additions are good for the game so they were doing totally requested quality of life updates for the game that is old as sin.
-
Just to note that the actors are both full age and if there is any problems with their characters age that they portrait in the show they can just make the entity take them few years later in the lore. So in short this conversation is odd as there has been few cases already in earlier DLC's where the survivors and killers are not taken from the same time. Good example is Yui and Oni and Yoichi and Onryo.
I would bet that they will address it with the lore stating when they were taken by the entity. Simple and easy.
-
Max is 20 meters nothing will help you getting longer throw. Still Rotten Fields is from the shack to the closest perimeter wall about 26 meters on the sides of the shack. So yes they should be able to get the throw about to the wall if throwing to the closer edge wall but the longer side is about 36 meters away so that side no they should not get it to the wall. Still as you say to the corners if its the corner that is closer to the center then yes but if its not then no.
So in short yes but also no depends where they were throwing and from where but as I stated the shack is about 20-26 meters from the perimeter walls in certain corner or edge so I would say they were not cheating as if they would be they would spam that alert more as at least older cheaters could spam it like all the time.

When the game is balanced the way that it is, you have to accept it unfortunately. Make good use of the abandon feature to respect your time.
I would even bet most of them are not even sweaty they just play normally. I for example want to play normally with the event powers because its interesting how looping can be messed up with it from both sides. Like new tactical layer and rarely get any interesting matches with it because people don't play really.
-
Sorry but people don't need to bend to your opinion how the mode should be played. My survivor viewpoint to it is play normally and if the killer starts to goof around then survivors can goof around. I have seen way too many people start messing around in the start of the match and then get killed because killer is not in the mood. They then ruin the match for everyone as its going to be a dud anyway then.

The skip I suggested would still play the animation for the killer, but the survivor could choose to skip it if they don't want to watch the mori. This could work for both sides when it's the last survivor alive. Nothing would be lost, unlike when abandoning.
There is nothing loss by abandoning either but you don't seem to be getting that. Do you want to know the only thing you lose when you abandon? You lose items and add-on's even if you use offering that should keep them. Trial is not also counted as completed. You will also lose MMR the same as you already lost when you got the abandoning option. So in short you lose basically nothing and if you are so afraid of losing those then just wait the few seconds the mori takes. Tab out of the game if you don't want to watch or something.

If there was no correlation, the rest of the year wouldn't be that different. I’ve heard those concerns over and over again, but they wouldn’t be a major issue if rewards were added to Ranked mode.
Also, that problem is still happening even now, when the queues aren’t separated.
Rewards barely work currently.

"people don't all celebrate christmas there is other religions " Agreed, but kinda wrong in 2025 tho. I'm from a Christian/Muslim family while being an atheist myself + I have some jewish friends and everyone celebrates Christmas. It's not so much about religion but more about the period of the year, especially in younger generations (which contains more players than older ones).
"Why would they also not play the game seriously its their right to decide how they play that does not correlate anyway of their personal life or if they have family or friends."
Never said they souldn't play seriously. I'm just pointing out that I haven't had such sweaty games during the entirety of the year.
Wether you think like me or not, I strongly believe there's a huge correlation. On your first point. Ok so how does anything you stated there counter anything I stated either? Like even if you know or even if I knew people from other religions that celebrate christmas does not make my statement that all don't anyway more of a fact.
On your second there is no correlation you are just some reason either getting matches you yourself classify killer to be sweating or they just happen to be doing so. I would really love to get a cent every time I get called sweating as killer when I played totally normal match. Still I can also then use my own experience today and state I have not really seen much sweating just normal gameplay from killers.
-
or it might be the fact that people don't all celebrate christmas there is other religions and in the end its three days do you really think everyone has something to do on all three days. I for example spent 24th with family sharing the gifts and then the other two days we do what we want. Not everyone celebrate its like you think they do.
Why would they also not play the game seriously its their right to decide how they play that does not correlate anyway of their personal life or if they have family or friends.
Also to note I had bad matches and good ones on both sides did not really differ at all and expecting killers not to play the game is oddly selfish statement.

Not really an issue. The Abandon-Feature is completely fine to avoid bleeding out, which can take up to 4 minutes, but Moris are only a few seconds. Plus most Moris happen to the last Survivor and at this point they can abandon anyway.
I think the main issue some people have with watching mori is that they see it as salt to the wounds as they have already lost and now they get specially killed. There is no real good reason to have just feature to skip it.
-
Yeah but it was just tunneling feature when survivors did not lose it on hooking.
-
@Anniehere said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/4040246#Comment_4040246
We lose progress when abandoning a match. A Skip Mori option could replace the Abandon button when a survivor is locked in place until the animation ends.
This may sound minor, but waiting 7 to 12 seconds for the animation to finish just to move on isn't fun, especially during long play sessions with multiple Moris in a row.
I think this feature would be appreciated, since we wouldn't lose anything by using it.You clearly don't know that no you won't lose really anything. You don't lose bloodpoints, expirience, challenge progression etc.
-
Abandoning feature already does this in most of situations. Even in those situations I would rather remove the ability to abandon as its pointless as you are going to be in the end screen in few seconds.

It's also funny how people who defend DC penalties get angry when their teammates who want to go next throw the game and die instead of just DCing and giving the team a bot. If not for the DC penalty, you would get bots more often than just dead teammates, but causality here seems to be too hidden and complex for some.
Yep every time its been off after it was implemented. DC'd start happening in about half the matches and reason can be as petty as getting hooked the first and not to get to use Deliverance.
-
No it should never be removed. This is always the worst suggesting right next to having ranked mode in this game.
-
No we don't. Then we have people complaining here about sweats that play casual side as why bother with ranked when its just more annoying and this game has not enough players to have constant two queue's going and then for events three.
-
Most likely nothing to do with the cheater as EAC servers were most likely down you just happen to get a cheater before they went down.
-
Its connection issue to EAC servers. Would be better if it would be stated to that but "EAC client cannot be instantiated." just means the EAC program on your computer is not able to connect to its servers that it needs to connect to work correctly.
-
It means EAC is not getting connection to its servers you reinstalling anything will not help as its a connection issue.
-
Bubba has three tokens for his power each token is 2.5 seconds base time for chainsaw sweep. So even with basekit if the player times it correctly you can get about 7.5 seconds of chainsaw sweep as you have to click to use a token after the first initial start of the sweep to extend it before it runs out. He also has add-ons that effect the duration and speed of the sweep and his Iridescent Flesh add-on refresh the tokens every time he hits survivor with the chainsaw. He gets one token back every four seconds base without add-ons.
Bubba is one of those killers only new people complain about as he is not that strong even with one hit down with his chainsaw.
-
You or someone else hit her with snowball while she was inside a snowman. Its a bug the animation gets stuck in the jump animation when they jump in the snowman. I think it might only happen with the spawning in snowmen not those that you create yourself.
-
Only thing this would do is survivors hiding more on the start while trying to move to the other side. It just would cause more wasted time in the start of the match for both sides. Thats literally what it does currently and in reality is not even that useful. The main thing it does is spread the survivors around when they start moving to find a gen that is not blocked. In some cases in my opinion it would be better that few of them stay on the close gen and you as killer can get easy chase with no searching too much.
This is not a fix to anything it just would change the start of the match for no real benefit in my opinion.

The tags in the title are automatically added by AI, as you can see by reading the BetaHub documentation. However, BHVR can also edit them. Is the reason we see strange tag classifications that they don't intend to go that far?
I only saw two “In progress” tags initially, and no more have appeared since. The number of “closed” tags has increased, but most of them just tell you to contact support directly. While bug reporting itself has become easier, I couldn't quite grasp how BHVR intends for this to be used.
You can yourself edit the tittle after the bug is posted. Done that on few of mine where the tittle did not even make sense.
Its not that bug reporting was made easier its the fact that Devs have way easier time to see bugs that are reported. Earlier with forums and what ever other reporting ways they had someone needed to move the bug to their inner bug reports platform and then now you might even see that someone is going to be fixed or is being worked on. It sounds to me what most people wanted more open view of what is being done behind the scenes. The reason why there is not that much activity on dev side on the new bug reports is the fact that they still have a lot of reports on their old bug reports that they are most likely prioritized to be fixed first. This comes of me asking what happens to the old reports and answer was not to move them to the new one so have not done that and just make reports of new bugs you experience.

So we need to :
Report it in the endgame match screen,
Report to the forums,
Report it on their discord server,
Report it on their twitter account,
And then report it on their betahub bug report..?
Then there's the question why some things take months and years of fixing, no matter the severity.
Kaneki's kidnap took 4 months to fix.
Fog-vials have yet to be fixed and are left to rot.
then theres the much older list of killer bugs that arent fixed or say have been fixed but somehow still break again, like slingers chain breaking faster than it should.
Why would reporting it on more platforms, do anything?.
I ask because, if the precious platforms dont seem to work, wouldnt that suggest it being an internal issue?.
In my perspective, reporting on the bug report section, seem'ed to work fine for me. I wish that would've been expanded instead of just adding another website,
For example, if people used the same keywords, the website would suggest checking out the unfinished open threads to see if its the same issue and post on it or make a new post.
Another worry is, there have been cases where reports have just been outright ignored, like trickster seizure bug, where the cut effects would flash the screen.
Which just leads to the question, what would doing another platform do?.
The simple answer is that there does not need to be other people in the between moving the bugs to the inner bug reports platform they were using. That was literally what was happening when mod said they brought it to the devs attention. Now with it being in same place where they most likely keep the inner bug reports they don't need to have middle men moving information that they can now easily check themselves. Also the forum never had anyway of marking bugs to be important or what is higher in priority than some other bug now its done automatically by the system. There is tons of things on the new system that beats the bug reporting on forum that is literally one of the oldest and in reality worst ways to report anything. The reports being ignored is literally because of the not optimized way it was done with forum posts as if nobody ever moved them to the "real" bug reports they are never really fixed as there is no knowledge they exits. The change was to streamline the bug reporting and in my opinion that was the right choice as the forum or where ever reporting was clearly not working.

I think the elephant in the room here is that even with this objectively superior system, will the extra effort on our part to go make an account and post bugs make any real tangible difference in the long run? There are already over 400 bugs listed on that site. How many will get fixed? How many will break in the process? Will the game look or feel any different in the end?
Not all of those are even bugs and some are bugs they are not going to fix as there is some that you can say is a bug but does not effect the real gameplay of the match and is so niche to get to happen that there is no point to fix those at all. Some of them are people literally missing what perk does by mixing it with another one. Some of them are tech issues and some are connection issues that mostly has nothing to do with bugs. Not to mention those bugs that have been reported several times. There is at least three bug reports on about moss texture floating in air in one of the Yakamoto Estate realm maps.
How do I know this? I check most reports there because I am curious of what interesting bugs people find and have reported several myself last one was of bots not being able to start healing a survivor who is already being healed by another survivor.
-
Just a bad day had one few weeks back. Usually SoloQ is totally fine of course playing event queue people horse around too long so give killer advantage so mostly lose because of it. I am on that mind in that mode if the killer messes around then I will mess around but until then I play normal and maybe do some minor event point farming on the side.
-
I have to admit I don't really care who they are bringing in as survivors as I am fine with anyone but I hope one of the legendary skins would be Eddie Munson because that character deserves to be in the game and would imagine be quite popular even more with voice lines.

Thanks for the info,
Can see this being hated by a lot of survivors very quickly, being actively punished for doing gens or going for saves will inevitably lead to people not doing gens or going for saves leading to frustrating games, & people dead on first / second hook.
Likewise a survivor being somewhere else meaning they also aren't doing gens or saving team mates.
Of course we'll see how it all looks in reality once it's in a ptb, but I expect in ptb killer will be "too weak" & on lauch mega buffer & "too strong"
But that's kind of how it goes these days anyway..
I'll get the chapter regardless (always do) but can't say I'm interested or enthusiastic about it.
Its just same as Freddy you just don't gain the sleep over time but when you do something not much of difference in my opinion. People will still do objectives and saves its not going to deter anyone who knows how to play the game.

Apparently they can access it from your Cloud ID
No they can access their server side logs with it. Would still be helpful to have the players own logs as there can be things that server does not log that the players side does. Not to mention they can then compare if there is something that differs.
They should add instructions how to get the logs as its not rocket science just knowing where they are located on your computer.
