I will go for each point:
"There is no real counter to his power, since you can be exposed while literally standing in front of him and staring at him."
This is 100% correct and needs to be reviewed. You can look at him the whole time and dont reveal him, or simply look in one direction, dont even see him, and he gets revealed. His Reveal-Mechanic is simply broken and dumb for both sides. What is kinda frustrating as well is that the Reveal Process starts again when he hides for a short amount of time, but the Stalk-Meter does not reset when doing it. But I dont know a fix for that, because it should not be too easy to reveal him (maybe instead of restarting at 0, let the Revealing gradually go down).
"This killer is the ultimate tunneling machine, since he can easily counter BT and down people right off the hook again."
Sadly this is a problem with every Stealth Killer, but I highly doubt that you will get friends here when proposing that BT works with Killer Distance from Hook. This would be totally the correct way, because only because that Ghostface is in Nightshroud, or this Wraith cloaked, or this Pig crouching, does not mean that they are not camping. That Doctor which is using Distressing is also not camping, only because his TR is huge af. But like I said, I doubt that this will make people happy when BT actually works against campers.
"GF should not be able to hide his red stain and his TR. It benefits the killer way too much without requiring any effort any effort."
While it is correct that going into Night Shroud does not require any Skill or Effort, this is how he works. He is stalking people while hiddin (or at least he has the ability to do that), and therefore he needs to hide his TR and Red Stain. This is a basic mechanic and should not be taken away. I mean, this is like saying that Hillbilly should not be able to use his Chainsaw until he is 8 meters close to a Survivor - because it does not take any effort or skill to run around the Map with it.
"The ability to crouch spam should be taken away, since it is abused by almost every GF killer."
Eh. Thats a BS-argument. Same can be said for Survivors, people just need to learn that they should not be offended by teabagging in general. The only thing that would be dumb on a teabagging Ghostface is, when he complains about getting teabagged while doing it himself.
"I can see the devs' original intention when creating this killer, but sadly these things are abused by killer main players."
I would not say "abused". The way of playing him without much stalking and just running around in Night Shroud, spreading damage, is the best way to play him, not gonna lie. And this should change indeed, but not by nerfing him. The Stalking Mechanic needs to have some form of impact, because currently you might stalk people, but when they are at a loop, you might not even get anything from it. Or they see you before and then you just wasted time stalking them. Currently Ghostface is only using half of his power, and this is something that should be changed. If there would be more changes than "Make his stalling meaningful" (like nerfing his Stealth Potential) would be up to the Devs.
And, of course, his reveal mechanic should work. Because it is quite clear that new players cannot understand what is going on and why they cant reveal him, when this is not even understandeable for players like me who have over 3k Hours and who reveal Ghostfaces here and there by just looking in a random direction or not by straight looking at him without ANYTHING (not even the own character model) blocking the line of sight.
If I try to answer to this guy I will probably get banned, permanently

I would recommend equipping Corrupt instead of ruin the next patch, trapper is one of the killer that benefits the most from it.
Corrupt Intervention is trash, viable for random builds but so far away from a competitive usage, the one who would take benefit is just Monto with his funny videos...
-
He's my main in the current patch. Next patch I will move to Spirit becouse Trapper has no momentum without the old Ruin, that time which it bought was precious. I will play him again with Noed maybe
-
Vote up to make him read please

I would definitely say give it a try first. Having played around with it, it can be pretty nasty once you get some pressure. Combine it with Surveillance and you also get some outrageous tracking (since generators automatically regress). You'll always know which generators are being worked on.
Only high mobility killers benefict from your update, it's useless on slow killers like Myers/Hag/Huntress. Listen to me, make Ruin slow down the time required for repairing without affecting skillchecks in this way:
- 100s/105s/110s for solo repairing from 80s;
- Toolboxes don't affect Ruin;
- Multiple survivors working at the same gen have the old and classical repair time (np, we have Discordance from the Legion for a nasty combo)
This woulb be a better change which every killer can benefit and still don't hurt newer survivors!

I agree. Too many killers became reliant on Ruin. I did until I started creating my own in-game challenges, one being not using Ruin anymore.
What this mean? Too much survivors are reliant on self-care then

Might as well be the new meta I guess -_-
Yes bud, enjoy your Ruin-nerf beneficts
-
All you are looking for is sit down on a generator and get relax at watching the progression meter until it fills up, so this is a good change
-
No, I'm done
-
Let's make the killer a computed BOT at this point.. No sense to play killer in order to lose miserably against a bunch of noobs which do nothing but press M1 all the time
-
New ruin better? Go play Solitario

It is not. With this change you are allowing the 4th survivor to hide in corners all the game while the other gen rush what the hell get healthy buddy

Myers main since 2017, and close to 6000 hrs in Dead by Daylight. Remember whatever is the build you are running, remember you are a mid-tier killer then not supposed to win every single match even if you become a god at sneaking and stalking
Myers build for Rank 20-15:
Deerstalker - Nurse Calling - BBQ - Brutal Strength (a very LOL build)
Myers Build for Rank 15-10:
You are still facing massive noobs, so go for the same build
Myers Build for Rank 10-5:
Spirit Fury - Enduring - BBQ - Ruin
Myers Build for Rank 5-1:
You are not having a really good time at this ranks, Ruin usually get spotted and cleansed early, ppl know what they are doing, win as Myers is not easy at Rank 1, but I give you a build which will make you able to handle them as much as possible:
Monitor&Abuse - Discordance - Enduring - Spirit Fury. Add-ons to stalk faster and Ebony Mori/Offering for Lèry, the Game or Howkings lab
Monitor&Abuse + Discordance have both a deadly sinergy, keep your EW II at 99% and go to the generator marked from Discordance. You will find at least 2 survivors there, and they will have time to run away from you only if carrying Sprint Burst or they see you coming from far away. Some maps really hurt this build becouse it work around M&A and those like Swamp or Coldwind make Myers visible from so far away.. your best choice is to help yourself with the 2 add-ons to stalk faster, and eventually Ebony Mori, or an offering for a closed, claustrophobic map where survivors can't see from where you're coming. That's all
-
will come one day where nurse, billy, spirit, hag and huntress will be removed from the game in order to improve hardcore skills for Rank 1 bald Dwights
-
the devs are well known for being graduateed in removing good features from the game, they don't stop giving free breast milk to baby survivors which are too cute to play against the old Spirit
-
Oh right, this is an old post.
-
While no one talks about how much powerful is the Spirit? She's so unpredictable and dangerous that you make even good survivors nervous by sitting in a place in front of them.
-
In his current state, LF can use his chainsaw properly against good players only if they mess up a hook save in the basement (when you're close), so remove the speed penalty and give him a 4,0% MS while revving (the same of Hillbilly) and when he starts his rush a 5,0% MS (the same of cloaked Wraith) and will be viable at high ranks.
-
Just remove the speed penalty when revving the chainsaw. Hillbilly doesnt have a speed penalty while revving it, and this make him dangerous even if you're close to a pallet/window. Lf can get a chainsaw hit only if well timed in open field, which never happens in high ranks.

The fact of the matter is, it is literally impossible for the Killer to win if the Survivors dont screw up.
Between how fast gens can be done and how long chases can be stalled for it is literally mathematically impossible to win if the survivors are playing properly. There is simply not enough time.
The fact that the Killer side of the game needs to rely on "Hope the other person screws up" is not a sign of a balanced game, it is the opposite.
Killers are absurdly underpowered and cannot win if Survivors are competent and playing to win.The fact that you deny this and your response is "lmao whiny killers" really shows what kind of person you are.
Actually the fact of the matter is it isn't mathematically impossible for the killer to win since if that was true no one would ever play killer. No killer would ever reach rank 1 and stay there, the streamers who're good would be bad etc.
The smart killers, teh out mind game you killers, the killer that play to their strengths prove your statement wrong. The killers that know what they're doing don't rely solely on the other side making mistakes. They know when to break pallets and when not to, where the good hiding spots are etc.
That isn't to say killers don't need help they do but this woe is me attitude certain killer mains display is pretty weak. If you have to rely on the crutch of your argument that's false then the issue isn't underpowered killers but your own gameplay.
When a properly played perkless Freddy can 4k a game with zero gens being done at rank 1 it means your argument is false. The Freddy didn't rely on mistakes but instead played properly, when a Trapper can get 4k's at rank 1 or a Wraith can it's because they played well.
And so, you prove how clueless you are.
1) Mindgames only work on bad survivors who arent paying attention properly or are just outright bad at the game. Attempting mindgames against attentive, competent survivors just allows them to stall longer.
2) Bad map design often forces pallet breaking, even when it would otherwise be more beneficial to just continue without breaking.
3)Killers do absolutley rely on mistakes. Bad positioning, inefficent generator repairing, bad chase pathing, ect.Thank you for proving my point by being yet another clown just spouting nonsense and saying "lol killer mains".
Especially funny since I am a Survivor main. -

Myers without TR at EWIII is broken, I'm figured of how much salt will be disgorged on this forum by main survivors of all Ranks if they make him without TR at EW III but hey
they could create an ultra-rare add-on which can be bought for 20.000 BPs on the bloodweb to make him silent in Tier 3 XD

Hello, as a Myers main I tell you that your win conditions with this killer are not very smart solo players, a good map, and a solid build. Always dodge SWF groups as Myers. His main strength is the lower terror radius, which you can make more lower than the default with the Monitor & Abuse perk. Michael is a loopable killer but he's defenetively better than the Wraith becouse of his one-shot ability and the fact that you don't need to uncloack to surprise the survivors. Your general strategy to kill should be this: with Monitor & Abuse, keep up your Evil Within II close to 99% and bam pop EW III on a survivor that is in a bad spot. With this perk he will never know that you are close unless he see you. Avoid wide and open maps like the Coldwind Farm or the Autohaven Wreckers becouse in those maps Myers can be see coming so far away, giving the survivors time to hide in corners and prevent stalking. If you want to tryhard as Myers always burn an offering for Lery or the Gideon Meat Plant, since these are tons of walls that prevent the survivors to see where you are, and always use Monitor & Abuse. Your general build should be this: M&A - Enduring - Ruin - BBQ&Chili. If you want turn Myers in an unstoppable killing machine pick up the Fragrant Tuft of Hair and this build: Thanatophobia - Brutal Strength - Enduring - Ruin. Thanatophobia is a must on this build becouse good survivors will not heal themselves completely to use some meta perks like Dead Hard or Iron Will, once they know you have infinite level 3, so Thana should punish them for not healing. Keep Enduring to recover faster after getting D-Striked and pallet stuns, and Brutal Strength to get ride of pallet faster, or eventually punish survivors who stand still on the other side o a pallet to t-bag you.i played myers only to rank one and it got to the point where i preferred to play red ranked SWF teams because they are so altrustic
Not always SWF teams are so stupid. When I play SWF we are pretty organized and we never rush hooks against a killer that can snowball potentially. We suck only against good Nurses.

The pallets are fine.Devs removed Myers collusion because spaghetti code, and left it because trapping in the basement and tombstone g people was a fresh hell. Dead hard is SUPPOSED to go through traps, watch the trailer which features the perks. **If the killer hits someone, solely because of a stun (they were to far away to hit before it) there is DEFINITLY a problem, and if you disagree, you’re smoking hot garbage.
You are never supposed to go for a save in the basement when any killer with one-shot mechanic is camping there, even with BT is risky, this is another excuse to hide the salt. If you get tombstoned by a Myers that camps the basement is your fault. And DH that allows to step the traps is totally dumb. Maybe if you actually payed attention like a normal person should, you’d know I’m listing these reasons to refute someone who said the bugginess is pallets shouldn’t be addressed, and that it’s not a bug (it is). Anyway the spaghetti's code reference is a thing which only devs should to deal. From a player with 2.500 hrs at playing Dead by Daylight, I'm both Rank 1 Killer & Survivor:
I heard from a recent live stream that the "hit for hit" mechanic will be removed and changed in a sort of new pallet vacuum. The "hit for hit" is referred as the ability of the killers to punish a stupid survivor by hitting him through a pallet when he just mess the correct dropping timing. You can't remove this since the "hit for hit" is actually the only chance for every "walking" killer (Wraith, Hillbilly, Myers, Freddy, Pig and Trapper) to end up a chase in massive loop areas against inexperienced survivors. I don't think that a noob deserves free extra-loops against a good killer. Please devs, don't apply this change to the pallet. The current state of the pallets is fine - just git gud at don't mess the timing. Bloodlust nerf is OK, no one good killer rely on bloodlust to catch the survivors. If you really have 2500 hours playing both sides, have can you believe that the current state is fine? Honest question here
With the current state of the game, you mean the current meta, which is still far away to be fair and balanced. As a killer main, I think the survivors should be buffed, in order to get more ways to escape the killer, beside running in circle for the whole map. Actually stealth is a joke, but devs could nerf the actually best killers tracking perks to make a challenge for him in finding and don't losing LoS of the survivors, and maps fixed to prevent looping. Bloodlust also should be removed, becouse currently this ability literally punishes only survivors who doesn't loop. Give the survivors more funny and fair tasks to do, will also prevent gen rushing. Since the Sabo removal and flashlight nerf every half decent survivors spend 100% of their time on generators, so when you are using a non running/blinking killer like the Trapper or the Huntress, you are gonna be forced to waste 2 perk slots for Hex: Ruin and NOED to mitigate gen rushing. In other terms, the survivor's gameplay should be FAT, varied and fair, in order to improve the skill of your killer. Not doing 5 generators in half 3 minutes and leave.

I'm sorry, but you're sayin' that killer getting the hit he really shouldn't have is fair?
I, personally been hit when i already was on the other side of the pallet way, way too many times, it's not alrightThe issue with this change is that even players with a huge lack of skill can prevent their capture by simply camping every pallet they find, unless the pallet is unsafe you will be always forced to eat the stun and then break it wasting precious time, which is unfair. Survivors need skill to keep the killer busy in a chase, not a braindead pallet buff. You need to play every killer besides Nurse, Hag and maybe Huntress, to understand how dumb is this buff.
