I wouldn't mind if they took some power away from Victor and gave it to Charlotte. But what exactly? Idk.

For example, I played only freddy once and got the easiest 4k, then i played ghosty and got 1 hook, whe i switch back to freddy, its ok
Are you sure its not just you being more used to freddy than ghostface? Did they ever turn killer specific matchmaking back on?

So you're argument is if only a handful can play her so what "decent" then anyone can play her? That is a fallacy to the point of ignorance and exaggerated arrogance. That is the same thinking that ruins games.
I dont think it's a good idea to have a killer that is both easy to play and ignores game mechanics. And with cross play, balancing pc and console separately is a no go
-
Addiction. Say "no" to shadowborne.
-
Probably the survivors that: just stick on gens, let killers drag them off, and kill themselves on hook because they dont like the killer, at 5 gens.
-
You need to work on your bait game buddy.

Sometimes I think DS was designed around Meyers' perks rather than the game as a whole. Ds seems like it's the counter to old dying light.

Dude ######### is this, I was thinking about Paladins literally five minutes ago and how this new update feels so similar to evil mojo/hirez updates for that hot buggy piece of garbage that Paladins is.
Now I see you writing down literally everything I was thinking like it was actually me doing it lol.
Though no one was gonna remember Paladins.
Are you guys talking about cards unbound? I will say though, I remember competetive queue getting a bit faster for me, I guess if you aren't going to fork over money to gamble rank 10 cards, they may as well play a mode that auto locked everything to rank 4 (?) . That was the only positive for me.

Place your bets on who's gig clown is going to steal. I'm thinking doctor's illusions, maybe his stun + teleport.

In the initial reveal of her and David walking together with the fog/distance I can understand thinking it's Claudette with a new outfit as she does have one hair cosmetic that reminds me of Elodie's hair. But it's pretty clear she is someone else pretty fast from there as her facial features are different as well as her skin tone. To add to that, David is in his default outfit so it makes sense the other individual would also be in their default outfit.
But to be fair, I recall some people calling Felix, Ace 2.0. Meanwhile I was just excited to get a generally good looking blond guy in the game. Those have gotten rarer. xD
Yeah, I've heard people call Kate " better Meg". Though I can understand where people are coming from when they refer to people who know they are different but still call them the same thing. I kind of would just see it as a joke. The same way people call Nea a goblin or the kate thing. I just get flashes of "how to purple as medical professional?" from my tf2 days

@Warcrafter4 said:
The issue with her and Claudette's design isn't Claudette's base skin its her cosmetics.
Also keep in mind in game you will not be seeing the front of a survivor in most cased and will primarily be seeing the back and that Silhouettes are the main way people can identity something at a distance.
More specifically "Curl and Glow" which gives her head the same silhouette as Elodie and if shes' also wearing nearly any none overcoat shirt and blue skinny jeans they only difference with the 2's silhouettes is that Elodie has an open mid-drift if viewed from any angel but the front.
This has been a design issue the community has brought up about Claudette's cosmetic design deviating too far from her base is that she's beginning to take up the possible silhouettes for other characters which is what happened with Elodie.
I took a break from Dbd while the blight debuted and when I came back to see the new killer, all I saw was the back of Elodie's head for most of the game. I thought it was Claudette wearing a cosmetic top that was released while I was gone.
Of course later on I realized that it was different character entirely, but yeah...

They should buff flashlights so it gives repair speed when you shine it on someone working a gen. Make it feel like your helping when you're actually not.

Inb4 the only thing big about it is the bugs.

I still have it downloaded. I played it a bit at launch and liked the blood market and progression system. That said I found the controls really awful to play.
Same honestly. I booted it up for the first time in an eternity.
Still feels like I'm controlling an RC car with a butter knife taped onto it... tbf, not sure why I expected any more with it being a moblie game.
-
And I was really looking forward to playing demogorgon but with a hag skin on
-
Tbf in that very situation Huntress, Deathslinger and Demodog can do the same thing. I'd say his problem is more so about loops (similar with Deathslinger) not specifically vaults
-
Its always odd seeing people bring up people streamer's opinions on gameplay elements, hailing their well thought out opinion on one matter but turn the other cheek when an equally thought out opinion on the other side comes out.
Not saying people cant share opinions but it's just weird to see.
-
It's starting to feel like anything you do as a killer is "a problem" now.
-
I mean, if a killer and survivor are both playing perfectly , then who should come out on top?
The killer right?

If you hold crouch while unhooking, the trap will not set off.
The problem is the other person being unhooked needs to hold crouch, too.
99% of the time the other survivor doesn't hold crouch when being unhooked. And that's completely on them imo, though the game could really do with a loading tool tip for newer players talking about this. The game doesn't say this anywhere.
It reminds me of when trapper could trap in front of hooks. You just kind of hoped the person knew they could disarm while they were in the unhook animation.
Would be nice if it were a tool tip when against the hag.
-
I feel like Claudette would be one of the first to die to show the "every man for himself" atmosphere the world is in now.
She'd pretty much be the too-pure-for-this-world character so she has to die.
-
I think the real problem is that the game is balanced in such a way that leaves very little room for diverse builds against people that know what they are doing (for both sides).
It's an arms race and BHVR will earn more in the long run if they leave it like that tbh.
-
Alternative: dont group up so mass slugging is not only hard to do but also to guard.

Then wouldn't camping and tunneling become the main way to win ? And it would actually work since there's nothing to stop them?
Tbf, anything will work when survivors go afk
-
Someone isn't used to headset gamers, lol

Slept on btw.
Tbf, He's going to be hard to tune with what his power does. A lot of people dont like his slowdown and blur, even if its not particularly good.

Maybe there should be a system that balances depending on your skill so it's fair for everyone instead of one side having the odds in their favor every game.
For that to work there would have to be a working matchmaking system that can actually predict skill levels and put those players all in the same lobby.
And the million dollar question is how do you predict that in a casual game that isn't very skillful to begin with. Not saying there isn't some skill in this game, just that dbd is more about knowing what and when to do things because the execution of said thing is bare bones basic.

I guess 14 seconds isn't that long after all.
-
"Lately", This has been the norm for a what seems like a couple of years.
-
I mean, if 60s is what makes it a counter to ds, then make your choice would be an even greater counter
Its 60s and gives you a reason to not go after the same person.... in theory. Most of the times I've run it, the rescuer immediately runs away and I end up running into the same person that was just on the hook because of how loud they are.

No offence but that's a bad idea.
"If someone else gets hooked = ds deactivates"
Yesterday a Bubba camped me. A teammate unhooked me (I'm solo so no Borrowed Time) just before I went into struggle. However Bubba mowed us both down before I was even able to run so he camped and tunneled me.
Obviously he hooked Claudette first. Now my DS would have been deactivated if DS worked like you propose even though he straight up camped and tunneled me (he kept tunneling me even after eating the ds).
"if you're in a chase, the ds timer pauses"
'Cocky' survivors would abuse it to chase the killer after their first hook allowing them to literally harrass them making it less of an anti-tunnel perk.
I don't know. Why would someone dive right into one of the strongest defensive killers in the game without a second though?
I don't doubt that it's unfun to be camped, but sometimes I question whatever happened to making (or even recognizing) safe saves or punishing camping?
I do believe that DS is a necessary evil, but there has to be some limit to it so it isn't "for 1 minute, do whatever you want, where you want". Also, If someone gets farmed without BT, should the killer be punished for it, because in that situation, you weren't tunneled. Your teammate made a bad play.

When I fast vault and land I should not be hit you are safe as soon as you land a fast vault test it out I'm telling you. Its frustrating.
I don't think it's ever worked like that. You don't get invincibility frames anytime while or after vaulting windows no matter if its fast, medium or slow. You can still get hit over a window and you can get hit if you hug the window, all that matters is the distance from that window.
I don't doubt that some people are getting phantom hit when they are well away from it, but there seems to be a few that think windows act like a physical wall and not.. well, like an open window.
-
If it's a survivor is dancing around for you and immediately runs into a random area where there is no generator. It's always a bait, because there is no reason for killer to chase a survivor into a zone like that.
Though sometimes you'll follow the general rule of "don't chase survivors that want to be chased".

It is iffy. In most of my games, it works just as expected and other times it feels like my melee hatchets are just not registering. Like blood bursts from their chest but no damage. But it seems to only do that when we're practically grinding against each other.

It's people like you that blame others for their own problems.
I play solo queue exclusively and NoED is rarely a problem. There are perks that let you see totems, run with them. Just because your team doesn't do totems, doesn't mean you get to blame the perk for the problem. Survivors can blame themselves if NoED goes off. Most are just too lazy to do totems because they "shouldn't have to do anything besides gens."
To quote you, "use your brains hun" and choose perks to cover your weaknesses instead of blaming everything/everyone else.
ditto. Sure it sucks for the first guy that got downed, but I have rarely ever seen NOED get more than 1. And when it has it's either greedy survivors thirsting for saves or survivors that don't respect the "exposed" status and group up anyway leading to a quick snowball.
sometimes there does seem to a few people that want secondary objectives because gens are boring, but they also want those secondaries to be completely optional and inconsequential.

We need more Demogorgon killers! Might be the only killer without a nerf/no counterplay/random hate mob following.
You'd be surprised. I still remember a few calling for him to have a bigger cooldown for using his 'Of the Abyss' to zone windows and pallets. If he were more popular, I wouldn't doubt it would come back up.

should I be reporting survivors for not lining up to dig me out that hill?

Good luck! I really like his chase music tbh.
For real.
I was so impressed by all his audio when he released. I still love it the rare times I see him.
The gurgling portals, the stomping, the distant roaring accompanying the screams of a downed survivor, and TR/chase music.

Stay with us... forever.

Myers for sure.
I'm sorry but at least you'll be able to take down Laurie and her perks with you.

He might not be yet implemented but I think the page may not be up to date.
When you to the "Discover the Killers" page, he isn't listed, but Huntress and Legion have a portrait, but not a page.

I blame the matchmaker or lack there of.
It's easy to get used to endless escapes/4ks that when someone finally loses, something is wrong with the game.
-
I feel like the only way for this to work would be to add some detonation time.
Like , after 5 seconds of a generator being completed, a 36 meter cage manifests around that generator. The cage dissipates after a survivor is hit.
That way, survivors have some way to play around it that isn't:
just tank the hit and/or just go down because the gen is in a dead zone.
Even then, the perk isn't good, but it's also not just a free hit every time.
-
Some survivors are just cursed like that. I feel like Nea had a similar thing going on.
Either they kite for a gen or go down in 10 seconds.
And don't get me started on Nancy. She might as well be split screening with the killer with the plays I see them make.
-
I've always though Freddy's stun sounded comically brutal. It sounds like Meg really put a dent in his skull.
Other than that Demo's screes and gurgles are always cute.
-
I honestly feel like the best part of lightborn is that people waste a slot for it.
Infectious Fright will help you avoid flashlight saves ( on top of pallet saves) and gives you the heads up on when to slug and when not to.
Just hard pick that Infectious Fright. It will give you more all-round value throughout the match than lightborn.
-
What if your killer is an inter-dimensional screeching alien that might not be a carrier of or infected due to biological differences?
But then again, I guess it's better to be safe.
