I don't know what is up with it.
When I was looking up pig to find out how long it took for crouch to get rid of TR, it said it fades at .66 m/s, which cannot be right. otherwise it would take ~ 48 seconds for it to be gone. But on the spanish page it says it fades out over 4 seconds.

Killer should of been iconic k-pop stan Oli London.

RIP snow plow

He could look like whatever, but if his power stays the same, he'll stay in back of roster next to the other flavor of the week killers that died off after launch.

It's quite obvious when you have as many hours as I do which groups are telling each other where killers are. Most SWF groups do that, and just because half of those groups are either terrible or just okay doesn't mean that it isn't completely disadvantageous to the killer. I am a person that likes fairness for all. I currently play with 2 others and I think that with the stuff we do with our mics it would be fair for us to lose one perk. So a group of 3 loses one perk per person and a group of 4 loses 2 perks per person. I feel like that is the best place to start. This isn't HALO 4v4, this is 1v4 in a game where clearly you aren't meant to know what every survivor is doing as well as where the killer is at all times.
My question is more so towards to how would the system tell if they are using comms.
-
New killer is a manlet, so he has a better chance doubling back on some rock loops compared to our hatchet goddess.
-
The spaghetti has indeed fallen out of the bowl.
-
Visually, he's really neat. I like his wild and playful colors, but power... eh. I'll probably still play him because I like killers with some ranged option.
-
how would you tell if someone is using comms? what stops someone from using an app on their phone instead?
-
The killer just feels like a legion to ranged killers.
-
Its 20 seconds, and some of that time is wasted walking to a hook. It doesnt give survivor positions like Infectious, all they have to do is run away. I dont really think any of the perks are particular good.
-
Farms maps like other ranged killers. But on the flipside, you'll probably just flatout die on autohaven maps... like other ranged killers.

after seeing the mess that was Death Garden: Blood Harvest's hunt with friends, Please god, No.

"a rank 17 ace clearly a newbie player"
Honestly, every time I've thought that I get hit with a purple/red number at the end screen.
-
I hope they do something about that when they make 12 hooking viable.

I really don't get this idea of uncountable. Maybe I just haven't leveled him up much, but he seems ridiculously easy to dodge.
It's mostly moments like this
https://clips.twitch.tv/HilariousCrispySandwichSoonerLateror
https://youtu.be/40gHL0W48HA?t=100he can shoot you over a lot of loops and slowly make his away around. Or you attempt to dodge and he walks up to you and downs you.

Why not make a mode for swf just by itself and keep them away from ranked play?
because, lets be real, no killer would ever queue up for it unless it had some massive pay out.
-
You could always switch to killer and play party clown for those swfs. Also, it's the weekend and you know what that means. RED ALERT.
-
Was this a farm game or something?

That is an interesting take I didn't think how the desync affected player's play styles etc. Could it be that many people have just not been playing since rank reset because of the desync glitch and therefore never actually rose in ranks and are just now returning to the game. This usually doesn't happen at this time because it has been a while since rank reset.
I also forgot that during that desync time, there was also an emblem bug that would only give you unbroken if you escaped instead of the usual based around how long you survived the trial. So you had really good and bad survivors depiping.
I will say though that I do feel like over all, survivors have gotten more generator efficient. Even a few extra seconds in a chase can feel like a mountain of catch up work, even if the person you were chasing isn't particularly pallet/window conscious.
-
I also think the desync has gotten some survivors to learn a more safe approach. So it might be harder because they are less greedy.
-
He's uh... in weird place. I feel like he's fine, because he averages out to be good to a bit above that. His attack is not reasonably dodged but there is so much built in time wasting (as well as the range/ and not every shot landed has value like a Huntress hatchet) that in respects to the whole match, he's not overpowered. Just obnoxious to go against.
-
what ever it is, I just hope it isn't a 110% ms killer.
-
I dont think he ever knows (like told before hand exactly who they are), but I do know he likes to try and puzzle out with everyone else over the clues.

You don't have to pressure everyone at once to dictate the flow-- everything you do is something they now have to play around. Whether it's downing people, forcing them to come save, slugging, forcing the decision between healing and staying injured, ect.
I say survivors decide the flow of the game because they have the strongest option available to them: Which generators to do and in what order.
Yes you can slug, but that only works if they survivors are close enough that you can chain them. One of the best tactics has always been to play separately. Spread out on generators. A killer cannot lockdown survivors without the survivors making dire mistakes first. Forcing a save , but they have 1 min to decide when to do it. They can do half of a gen before dedicating time to the hooked person as well as having perks that facilitate easier saves. It's not to say that all killers have no input, spirit and nurse can dictate the flow because survivors have very little options. If they are good, you go down. If they want a fast game, they can because pallets/windows don't do much. perks don't do much, you kind of just die.

Because the Killer is the moving force of the match. They're the one versus the four. They dictate the flow of the game, because they're the boss to beat. People like a good boss fight. People also like being able to play the game, which is a right the killer is fully able to revoke at basically any time, regardless of how self-sabotaging it is.
And ultimately, the ability for both sides to ruin the experience of the other via dumb and unfun tactics that are simultaneous incredibly lame and incredibly efficient is a design flaw that falls squarely on BHVR's shoulders for making in the first place.
"They [killers] dictate the flow of the game, because they're the boss to beat"
I dont know about that. You can't pressure 4 people at the same time.
-
It's honestly better this way. If you couldn't handle that, you probably cant handle the weird ######### people say after chat
-
I can only assume that we are back to where we were before last patch queue wise. Where there isn't that many killers at your rank so it just throws you in whatever it finds. And it works both ways like the image above. Sometimes you'll get yellow teammates and sometimes yellow killers.
-
how long are your queue times?

Finally a counter and it works on all the B O R I N G killers.
Brb, gonna write a post about how killers are op and spam "look at the kill rate!"

You know how to counter that? Master a top 5 killer(nurse if in pc),the rest should be easy after that
what's unfortunate about that strategy is that you don't really win. They default and kill themselves because any resistance = B O R I N G K I L L E R.
-
The only thing I want right now is for some loops to get a collision pass.
Sometimes I have to take loops wide or otherwise get stuck on some invisible edge.

5 players at the highest level of play is not the player base. In fact, it's not even 1% of the player base. Normal players do not play the same way and aren't running in SWFs with optimized perks.
Think of this in terms of the Nurse. If high-skilled play indicated a killers strength, then why wouldn't the Nurse be nerfed? It's because almost no one can play her at the skill-cap required to user her. Normal players can't play Nurse at high-skilled levels, so why nerf her based on what less than 1% of the player base can do.
And yet, they nerfed her anyway.
-
5 games btw

At the very least it should have some post trial BP multiplier.

They actually nerfed moris?
Yeah, they are only usable on death hook now. Its just that depending on the killer, the animation may take longer than just throwing them on a hook. Map offerings are better than a mori now. but I don't think anyone would say the change was bad, just them leaving keys as they were soured some people.

I guess it would be pretty nice if solidarity lowered the range you could hear survivors while being healed similar to technician and pharmacy for gens and chests.

Anne Hathaway to portray the next jigsaw killer in saw 59 4D VR?

Sometimes I wonder if it's some sandbagging with friends group trying to get each other killed.
Idc as long as they keep me out of it.
