  • Just ask them on the wall of the forum, don’t need to ask a question (through this means) for it.

  • If it is the case, report them in game for the suitable offense.

Then go to DBD’s support website, and file a ticket

Frequently asked questions about our mobile game

File all the information provided, and put it under the “Add-on for report” Category.

While the offense is still up in the air, I’d file it anyway. No harm in not.

  • Attempting to 360 only to run into a tree.

As killer, thinking that the ambient screaming (on Léry’s) was pointing towards the direction of the survivors. I ran into the center so many times and had no idea.

  • League, CSGO, Overwatch... many games have a toxic community these days. It’s a bit sad to say, but this isn’t anything new. You just see it more since the game doesn’t have that big of a forum community as other forums (see OW forums).

  • depends on how valve wants to go about the license, since he still is their property and is licensed

  • RE Chapter: Would either have Claire or Leon as a survivor. Maybe even both, or just one in the form of Jill.

I’d imagine the next survivor is going to be a dude, or it’s going to be a year of female survivors and a year of male survivors, then licensed content.

It’s hard to tell with the recent releases.

  • They’re the best pants Jane has.

All of her pantsuits aren’t form fitting and are kinda ripped.

My biggest wish is to have a shoe option. I normally am not a stickler for this, but the gladiator sandals make pairing the outfit with a cropped business pantsuit top look odd.

Her flats are cute too, it’s a shame really.

I wanna see more exploration with Jane’s style, even though her look may not change that much her style is something that modern not something athletic— compared to many survivors attire. I’d love to see hats with long hair, flashy accessories or hairpins, anything really.

Jane’s style is something that I personally think is super chic— but the pinstripe pants are a big no no for me due to how they look with the rest of her attire.

Not to mention the Skater Dresses, which are adorable with cute sixties glamour with the boots. One of the other options is kitten heels, something I’d like to see on Jane. Nothing too crazy of a heel, but something that is a little more chic compared to the rest of her footwear.

I’d personally love to see formal wear outfits on anniversary, where Jane is either rocking a crimson dress with a lipstick to match.

This is simply due to the fact that it’s a challenging makeup look that Jane could probably pull off- IF the cosmetic team took time to look into makeup more (contour, matte foundation, more fun eyeshadow).

Sorry for being irrelevant to the post, but I think that all the survivors have what it takes to have really interesting styles, but the person they’ve designed the best (in terms of actually wearable clothing) would be Jane.

  • Depends.

Usually it’s been The Ponytail(Jane’s), her summer top, and the white jeans.

I love those jeans, and I can’t wait to get a new pair for new and fun colors :)

  • They need an open hand to vault, repair, throw down pallets, and open the exit gate. You can’t do that being weighed down by more than your normal body weight, or not having an open hand.

  • Me and the girls out here painting nails under the table. YAKWTFGO.

  • I felt really unsatisfied.

The challenges felt mundane and I didn’t have any incentive to do them outside of the premium track of the rift.

The challenges took way too long to complete as well, and since you couldn’t complete many at a time the progression felt super unfun, and I felt like I had a lot more fun if I didn’t do them in the first place.

I love the cosmetics and art direction, but in terms of challenges it didn’t really add anything to gameplay— there’s no new features ever, so you don’t get to get to know something and have fun with it, but rather, you’re stuck with these really really specific and boring challenges.

I understand that the refinement of the core game itself is important, but for a first rift and all the hype I expected more.

It felt like I wasn’t doing anything productive when I did a rift challenge either, and overall, it felt really underwhelming and unsatisfying. Will I buy it again though? Probably. It gives me something new to do, but in terms of gameplay overall? It was super draining and boring. Some of the challenges felt so situational they were hard to come by, which made the completion even harder.

TLDR: I felt like the rift was really unsatisfying. The grind was super dry and I couldn’t be bothered to do the challenges as they felt super dull and not worth the long time it took to complete some of them.

edit: I also wanted to say that the lore was neat but it felt really filler. It made me appreciate Claudette more but the backstories tied to specific challenges made them hard to get past, and the entries felt really unsatisfying even after I completed them.

I did like Claudette’s eight Birthday though- it was super bittersweet and I saw a lot of myself in it. I liked it more than the other two entries we got.

  • I suck at reading killer movement, so I can’t last long in chase unless the killer doesn’t manipulate their stain.

I also run into walls too easily, surprised my Jane doesn’t have a few bruises from that.

Mate, we all know the good parts of the change.

The issues are in the stuff surrounding this change.

In how they took this entire update only looking from a low ranking survivor angle.

In how they removed the most effective early game perk from the game and replaced it with a bad one. (Yes, even with the inconsistency of ruin, you can't deny it's effect)

In how they changed a killer only looking from a survivor point of view.

In how the 3 benefits to the new ruin are only benefits to survivors

In how killers apparently need to work for their bonuses but survivors don't.

In how they changed ruin for being overused but didn't look into WHY it was used.

Please, actually read what people are saying.

Gonna leave you with a quote from scott jund

"I didn't need ruin to win, I needed it to play nice" (may not be word for word what he said. But the sentiment is there)

I get that, but I think that now it’s safe for perks to just not be “ruin” level.

    You know?

I feel like gen rush wouldn’t be such an issue IF we looked at how gens are done.

Now that ruin is gone, this will definitely show that games go too fast even after the changes, which will likely bring about hopefully new changes or objectives.

If we want to figure out why gen rush exists, we should understand that speed and reasons why gens are done is so important.

Ruin was holding the game back— in my eyes. Now we can move forward and bring about newer changes; and hopefully make a game where a perk isn’t required to have fun.

  • I think it opens the playing field for the slowdown perks.

Now we don’t have to constantly compare it to ruin, but rather, we can modify them to be all equal to one another.

Not to mention that it significantly shakes up the meta, which is something I like to see.

I wanna see the same thing with survivor perks, just the game in general.

It’s annoying when all the meta builds are practically the same.

  • I don’t think it’s that deep.

They’re just polishing him, and making him less annoying to play against.

Which, in all fairness, is a good thing, because it’ll make the game more enjoyable.

I don’t think it’s fair to call it survivor biased, but more so, a middle ground.

You can’t really expect balance in a asymmetrical game, but you can expect nerfs and buffs.

  • And what about it?

Don’t really see the big issue— the same can be said for flashlights and mist offerings.

  • As much as I love Nancy... the shoulders, man. Her expressiveness in the menu isn’t GREAT either. I get what they were going for, but the camera angle where you see the survivor doesn’t work for the pose she’s in.

  • They’re all super unsafe except maybe a room.

  • Solidarity with my healing builds. Surprisingly useful!

Poised, because... damn, that time is so useful.

FlipFlop, great info for healing builds, interchangeable with Babysitter.

Fixated, god tier and good info tell.

  • No, it’s fine. This 99% Tech has existed for a long time, you can’t rework it without reworking the other exhaustion perks.

  • Oni is in a good spot. He seems to have an interesting and viable playstyle. Maybe a few QoL changes.

    Xoxo, your fave survivor main.

  • Anything for the bag.

  • December 18th.

For further reference, I would look at the in game announcement of it— it has all the release dates for times there.

    826EC779-6CD4-4515-BAB3-AA243220B7F6.jpeg

These dates, as stated above, can be subject to change.

  • Ignoring a major part of the audience is a bad business plan.

I think they do, but BHVR hasn’t really experimented with consoles prior to this game, really.

But it honestly (on console) kinda sucks with FPS drops, especially when playing characters with longer hair.

  • Not every perk has to be meta.

It adds more variety, and can also cater to different playstyle, giving a unique depth. You can experiment with perks to find YOUR perk build, something you enjoy or you find useful.

  • If you think about the changes objectively, they make sense.

In regards to Spirit, I picked her up two days tops and I nearly always won, the nerf (as a spirit main) was called for.

Just like the thanato changes that never went through.

Survivors have also had perks nerfed due to community complaints, but if you analyze the feedback it makes sense.

Exhaustion Perks, make you exhausted, you shouldn’t recover them while running.

Old DS was super annoying and had slight requirements for a major ability.

    You get the idea.

  • I was in the first one (if you don’t count the one that was cancelled).

To my friends in the experiment, I got 425,000 BP and 3-4K thousand shards as reward for participating in said experiment. That should give you a rough idea, however, I don’t know how long the experiment was held for, and other factors— but I’d expect that amount.

  • Honestly, it’s just a downer(I didn’t realize this was a pun ‘till I read it). Imagine doing a bit of everything and running the killer for ages to be downed— you know?

The perk is fine, but it always sucks to be hit with it.

  • Last time (I was in one of the first few), it gave me around 425,000 BP and 3-4k shards. I can go check the email, but I would doubt they’d hand out cells.

    EDIT: Whoops! Wrong currency.

    that outfit... gurl.

    New main wo a doubt

  • I’m a H.O. for head on.

My fave perk because I’ve gotten saves with it, and it’s gotten me out of tough situations.

Ok, I'll give you that. The objective of the post was to state that I believe the Devs should focus on Buffing low tier killers more than nerfing the few viable for high ranks, that's it. The title was a way to drag people in (1000 views till now so...)

But maybe I should change the title to help this focalize

Titles that draw people in can also grant misconception, like in my case. Just title your post what the topic of it is.

  • While I like your idea, I think this needs to be stated: Giving a perk to make killers viable is not a good method of balance.

The same goes on the survivor side of things, you shouldn’t have to run a perk to have decent counterplay over a killer.

  • Allow me to rewrite my claim, then.

This thread, in my opinion- is pointless. Not only is this thread subject to major bias on both ends, but I felt like it was meant to cause dispute.

    The target audience is unclear.

Peanits even said this himself- this title is mocking something that DOESNT exist.

Even if you have relevant experience on both sides, you are still capable of being biased.

I spend time in high purple ranks and red ranks on BOTH console and PC, I don’t have an issue— I think this criticism would’ve been better placed on FireHazard’s recent thread— which explained more in depth that they want more diversity in killers at red ranks.

I think that thread would be a lot better than straw manning survivor players (assuming that your going for the stereotype of crying survivor main) by saying “KiLlErS ArE ToO poWeRfUl, NeRf ThEm!

But, that’s just my two cents on the subject. I’m merely applying criticism, not attacking you personally— but I just feel like your message (while important) was obscured by how you wrote your original post.

  • For the eight millionth time, no.

You can’t punish people for playing together, que times would suffer.

  • I love fishing, but this isn’t good bait.

I don’t think anyone has ever said that, like... ever.

Maybe in some cases but ALL killers?

    No.

  • No, I don’t think I will.

  • I think that people who owned exclusives previously have a right to an exclusive charm at the very least. Something glowy and distinct- and not obtainable through the rift. That way, it’s just a charm that can’t be obtained otherwise (and charms are already pretty small). I owned exclusives myself, and I can get the reasoning behind why they’re becoming free— and people were getting scammed, and that’s bad PR which BHVR can do nothing about. Granted, they did spend a lot of money over an ingame item, but that could be said for any game with prominent skin trading, such as CSGO where knives can cost thousands of dollars.

I was upset— of course, but I received my exclusives through a giveaway; rather than tournaments, PAX tickets, all that jazz. But I want to have a reminder, and a charm could be a good thing to replace it, and charms hardly matter in the grand scheme of things, and since they’re minor, (and couldn’t be received via code or anything), it maintains it in a way that isn’t completely in your face and can serve as a good reminder.

TLDR: I think people who owned exclusives prior to this deserve a charm, it’s only fair to them. The charm needs to be somewhat flashy and stand out compared to regular charms, and cannot be obtained in any other form.

  • JenDenise (even though she’s been playing more WoW) because her montages are sick, and she’s B I G S P I N Z

Geistra because... icon. Need I say more?

BoxGhost because her laughter is contagious.

Cahlaflour because her commentary and reactions always make me laugh.

To be honest, I just watch people with my type of humor. I can respect all other DBD streamers, and it’s nice to see familiar names. It’s good to know they’re still thriving.

Devs have said the Ghostface in the DBD universe is pretty narcissistic. He's really upset about the new teaser.

    Darn... Ghostyboi deserves better. :(

  • Maybe he doesn’t like the spotlight. Ever consider if this ghostface is kinda shy?

  • Having a personal dance party (I love my dbd playlist), Go on my phone, go on discord, browse the forums... twitter, read articles, study, attempt to clean up my workspace, and maybe get some jumping jacks in if I really do feel like it. Sitting for that long isn’t healthy, so I try to move a bit while I’m waiting in que. Plus that helps me focus, I feel much more motivated to when I get up and drain some energy.

  • ...You could just drop a GG and leave, prevent it all from happening.

You can even disable end game chat.

I think Left Behind is great as is. I always run it when I’m playing solo because I usually end up being the last man standing.

If anything, I think killer needs it’s own variant for counter play purposes.

i mean, let’s be honest, in an actual match, the new Left Behind is far more useful than the original.

However, I do think in Custom Games, you should be able to do whatever you want. Including bouquet offerings and using old versions of perks.

Bouquets were scrapped because devs wanted more control over lighting on maps (and it was time consuming to make the variants).

  • Jane Romero is Latin-American.

I would like to see someone from the Middle East, personally.

  • Hair and Cardigan are cute. It’s the dress that kills it for me.
