  • Happy B-day!! :)

Oh here’s another thing I noticed: Not sure if this is relevant the to this thread but here goes:

Besides the major inconsistency between the two, there’s also something I feel as if has been looked over.

Entering the dark, dilapidated cell, Zarina ran her hand across the old brick wall. Her fingers felt a marking and traced the letters: DEATH TO BAYSHORE. A loose brick fell, revealing a gap.

She inserted her hand. Fingers landed on a piece of cold, cracked metal. She fished it out... an old, rusty wrench. A damp chill ran down her spine and she looked down; a man lay at her feet, bleeding, his limbs contorted and his eyes, dark and terrified — her father's eyes. A pool of crimson blood on black pavement. Paralysed, black fog filled the cell and she shut her eyes to push these nightmarish visions out of her mind.

    Then, looking at the Deathslinger Lore;

A thick, unnatural fog streamed through the barred window. He pulled out his old wrench, cracked and rusted, and ran a thumb along the metal, regarding it with faded eyes. He couldn't remember when it came into his possession. He didn't care to remember. At his feet, he saw a dusty path, and, at its end, silhouettes of all who had done him wrong: the boys who bullied him, the executives who took advantage of him, and, again... Henry Bayshore. Emerging from a fog were the tools to dispose of them — unforgiving steel hooks, brilliant and beautiful in their simplicity. Pain tore through his leg as he stood, but he endured, pushing onwards, walking the dusty path, leaving a trail of blood flowing behind him.

    So what’s the big deal?

This lore depicts that the entity can control what either side can see. The major contrast is that Caleb’s (Death Slinger) started with the fog, and Zarina’s ended with it.

Back to my main point; the entity made Caleb see those who wronged him— likely driving him to kill. And it takes Zarina right to a man who is bleeding out— likely, Henry Bayshore.

So, grab your tinfoil hats and unbundle your red twine, here’s my theory which has likely been said and proved before, but here goes.

This confirms that the Entity manipulates what either side sees; meaning that it’s likely applicable to all Killers. For example, Rin sees her father, The Hillbilly sees his parents, the wraith sees his boss. The thing is, those I listed have some form of glowy eye— but in contrast, those without glowy eyes (such as Hag, and Trapper) are also afflicted, but their vision may be different.

  • Probably... a good huntress.

I usually die but Huntress is just more unsatisfying to die AGAINST, in a sense?

  • As a survivor MAIN, I love the breakable walls! I wanna see them on every map, they make the experience so much more unique and it’s a new way to play; with the addition of loops being not nearly as secure as they were before.

  • I just don’t understand that argument in regards to NOED.

NOED just activates as soon as the Gates are powered; there’s not a whole lot of skillful play there. Hex Totems being dull and unable to be tracked makes the perk just super unreliable.

I think currently the major issue is how FAST the game is— the sixty second measure can take up a good chunk of time, especially when doing a gen by yourself only takes 80 seconds.

But the question is, what now?

I want to see more alternate objectives, not just gens— core gameplay refinement is important but I wanna see more unique alternate objectives, such as searching for gas... you get the idea.

  • :) Nice to see these! Real handy. Gonna bookmark as use for a resource, thanks Fibi!

  • Well: somebody break out the red twine, this is my type of forum post.

    Personally, I think it’s a Fisherman.

The reason for that being, the state of the chain. It’s off rusted; meaning it’s aged over time or it’s been afflicted by Water Damage.

Secondly; the chapters codename really hasn’t been anything of basis to go off of in terms of content. However, if I were to go off of said codename, I’d imagine this chapter would be in a location near Romania, or Bulgaria, as it’d likely take place in the Black Sea if it were to be a Fisherman chapter. The only thing that brings this debate into question is the way the chain moves; it’s at a walking pace, only for it to suddenly be chained up to SOMETHING. It could very much be a whip killer as well, as for the DOTF teaser, the Plague’s incense (or lantern) was the first thing we saw. The chains themselves could be apart of the killers weapon.

This also entails the killer being teased before the survivor.

So, what are the characters going to be looking like; release wise?

Basing off of the older release patterns, the following chapter will have a female killer and male survivor.

Stranger Things essentially reset the cycle; Getting two survivors and a monstrous killer; only to be followed with the release of Cursed Legacy, aka Oni (a male killer) and Yui (a female survivor). I’d predict that this time around it flip flops— and this time it will be a female killer and male survivor. But, it could also just as easily be a male killer and survivor, as that type of release hasn’t happened since DOTF (two female characters) so perhaps it’s on the flip side this time.

However, the previous paragraph is just theoretical, and could be just purely coincidence. These could change depending on what the consumer (the fan base) wants— as (in my opinion) On the survivor side of things, female characters sold better. Maybe as time passes they cater to the other part of the fan base that wants a male survivor.

But then again... it’s just a chain at this point. Someone needs to take the tinfoil away from me.

  • It’s not aim assist.

It just scotches your camera forward and rotates it to make the hits CONNECT, especially on killers with shorter weapons, or if the survivor spins and gets hit regardless.

It doesn’t have any effect on gameplay; the devs rule when it comes to hitboxes is “Does that hit one touch the hitbox of survivor?” (in terms of hitboxes) The hitcone (the radius you can get as for survivor) hits the hitBOX of the survivor.

All this does is dress up the animation and make it pretty so it shows that it did in fact connect.

  • @Pulsar I’m planning on making a dev stream summary; if I do, I’ll LYK!

60s Hippie Girl would be great. San Francisco Kate.

    PURPLE SET:

    Sunny Sanfranciso Session set:

Warm, cheerful, and delightfully indulgent; the struggling songwriter hits The Golden State in search of a new song.

    In-Tune flower crown:

Kate often took time to write in the forest, and she had reached into the depths of her soul and visited each garden in search of her next home-hitting song.

    Floral Cardigan:

Thrifted from a market near Pasadena, the fabric hasn’t aged a day since it was last owned; though the breathable fabric making the sun hit the skin just as if it wasn’t there.

Patterned Knee-dress: Kate opted for breathable clothing, and a knee length skirt is the best to keep the pesky bugs at bay while you search for inspiration.

  • Imagine that with a floral cardigan, white tank top, and knee length patterned skirt. We rise!

  • I’d love to see a Misty Day inspired outfit, she seems to fit that archetype so well! I’d love to see a hipster or bohemian chic style outfit, it’d work for her!

  • Nancy’s actress, Natalia Dyer, is much more pretty in the show than in the game. The most annoying part about it is, they managed to NAIL Steve’s look so well; and Nancy’s body language is too stiff and her shoulders are far too broad for my taste.

  • I do play killer from time to time, even though I call myself a survivor main.

I had gotten to rank 3 as Spirit post-add-on-change and playing other killers was stressful for me. Also playing both sides can be incredibly informative— the other perspective makes all the difference, especially in chase. I felt too overstimulated when playing killer, it got very bad to the point where I had to put the game down for a few days since there was a lot more going on.

However there’s no black and white in this situation, regardless my skill could be less in killer which constitutes for a small bias I have, however, Both sides played, I suggest killers play survivor as well; it’s a two way street.

I understand that many people won’t have as hard of a time as they would as killer (at least, to my knowledge) but it would help both sides come to a better informed consensus of the issue itself.

  • I want to cater to my play style, not the genuine consensus’s. I have more fun that way, and I experiment with other builds than just sitting with the meta. Ive played meta before just to try it, but it just felt... dull. It felt uninspired. It played well, but I didn’t feel nearly as satisfied as I did when I ran MY build. I like having a unique set of perks to really spice up my gameplay, and I change them all the time. I don’t think meta is completely worth my time personally since it’s just so... boring to me, and when I play killer, I want to face something distinct and unique, so I be that change I wanna see.

  • I always feel guilty. Really just comes to show how empathy can reflect on how you play games, even if they’re fictional characters. All that suffering to meet an end by impaling? The sheer amount of blood loss...

Really puts things into perspective when you think about it.

  • Companies do want to make money.

You just simply can’t sugarcoat it. No matter how much a company wants to hide it, they do, indeed want money. The company needs money for a variety of things— keeping rent or paying taxes in regards to the property they own, paying for worker health insurance, paying livable wages, budget in the IT department for replacement if necessary, likely an exorbitant power bill due to most business activities taking place on computer, covering license fees, and a variety of other things a company (especially BHVR), has to cover. These can be a bit difficult to cover alone, so of course the company wants to continue generating more revenue as well fund other projects and DBD itself. I personally can get the frustration about microtransactions, they can take away from a game’s experience, but sometimes they’re necessary.

    My personal thoughts and opinions.

Not to mention, new content keeps the game fresh. Siege has differentiating characters and styles of play, DBD doesn’t. It could be difficult to keep players engaged, but it also should be said with the nature of perks as of late, they don’t exactly do anything different, especially in survivor gameplay. The highlight of two chapters so far has been TWO perks, Head On and Inner Strength. I just feel like that new perks can only add so much to the game- the rift pass is one of the few reasons I’m playing as of now. I want to see new features, new items... it’s feeling stale. I understand that core gameplay refinement is extremely necessary, but having the same core gameplay for four years now can only be so fun for so long. I want to see a push in different playstyles, new objectives, features, and counterplay. The maps always feel so big sometimes, as well, and I think with times changing, the larger maps make it hard to control where gens are popped, which just... snowballs.

I feel as if game health is now a major priority, but I don’t think the whole Operation Health System everyone keeps mentioning just wouldn’t work. Let it be said that just happened with Siege, and the Operation could either be majorly successful, or a major flop. It does make sense that BHVR may not have a whole lot of staff on DBD itself, after all, DBD only grossed 30 million dollars out of 110 million dollars BHVR made from last year alone. These numbers may however change.

    Closing thoughts, reflections, and feedback.

The game needs a major quality of life overhaul, in my opinion. To see to issues both sides are facing is difficult since the current agenda of the devs is currently unclear, so it’s hard to make an accurate guess of what the games direction is headed in as of now. Some more communication in regards to as whatever else is going on needs to be addressed; such as QoL issues in gameplay.

Additionally, I think patch notes need to be a little more, understandable. I see a lot of misconception happen when the patch notes are released vs the actual gameplay. A few touch ups to make the writing a bit more cohesive and understandable would be great to really help (especially newer consumers) understand and invest themselves in the game a little more.

I think the Dev Blogs should be a little more frequent, and more push for smaller patch releases (such as hotfixes and reworks) should be put into effect to make the game feel a little more dynamic, and improve how the game feels and is played.

    Acknowledging fallacy, and bias.

I also wanted to clarify, most of my info is just an inference based off of the information provided on their (BHVR) website. I have a bit of business knowledge, but no certifiable education basis to give an accurate and comprehensive answer, as I just took a few classes on it, and frequently keep up with Stock Papers and analysis. If I did by chance glance over anything or something I said didn’t make quite sense, be sure to ask. I’ll take any feedback I can get. I am by no means afflicted with BHVR, I’m just providing my thoughts on the ordeal.

  • DBD terms, Corrupt Intervention scares the crap outta me sometimes.

Outside of DBD, it’d probably be my teammate jump scaring me in Fortnite.

We were in voice comms too, and they blindsided me and I freaked OUT!

  • Fiesta Salsa. Always doing Raini proud when I play her.

She’s a curvy girl! She has the butt but clearly she doesn’t OPTIMIZE its performance enough due to the nature of her clothing. That and I doubt that wearing an enhancing underwear would be practical in the trial. Not that’s there’s anything wrong with modesty. Do keep in mind she’s on DAYTIME TV so her butt doesn’t necessarily need to be at optimal performance at all times. The modest and saggy nature of her clothing radiates. A Boho chic vibe from her summer set makes her clothes very high fashion, considering all of them fit the Hollywood lifestyle she works in. Let’s talk colorschemes. Things tend to pop more if they aren’t in neutral colors, and if they’re too bright it’s hard to see the actual curve. Bolder colors such as bright blues, purples, or even reds make things pop more: but patterns ALSO add to it. The more present the pattern (especially pinstripe) the harder it is to really see the curvature. The pants may be fitted; but as you can see, the pants are ripped (in the case of the pantsuit) which would make sense since it would provide easier and more free flowing movement, since fitted clothing (especially in the legs and rear) can be super difficult to move in, especially when it’s tailored.

Anyone can have a decent butt really; it’s more so accentuated by how you dress, how saggy the clothing is... you get the idea.

  • Unfortunately Jane’s are unable to care for fecal aspect of Moo Moo care, as we frequently get our nails done and we are NOT breaking a nail or chipping our polish, as it would require even more of an exorbitant budget to our department as is. However we as Jane’s will see to the sanitation of The Game once the fecal matter and corpses have been removed; and we will wipe the remaining grime away with the baby wipes we keep in our purses.

Moo Moo should be moved to Coldwind for the sake of accessibility and access to friends; however, if possible, the department of Jake’s or Pigs should be called upon to watch over them; Jane’s do not have the mechanical coordination to make sure that Moo Moo is held up comfortably.

  • Will we ever get an option to uncap FPS?

If not, why is there a cap on FPS in the first place?

  • I don’t think these are things you can really control.

Not to mention; not advocating for these actions but people are allowed to play how they want to. Some survivors waste pallets for different reasons, but then again it IS a learnable moment. I just don’t see the point of telling them not to do something when wasting pallets usually is a low rank issue. That of course is my personal opinion, and sometimes it really is just impulse.

Secondly in regards to the anger, I get that but you can’t control someone’s anger or temper. The best thing you can do is report them at the end game screen, but if it’s on Xbox or PS4, that’s out of their hands.

Let people play how they want to; it’s an online game and they should be aware of the consequences of how they play or behave towards others.

EDIT: Just to clarify— I don’t think the whole being MEAN part is okay by any means; but with the nature of this game usually that’s how it ends up.

  • To those of you who really want an answer; not anytime soon.

DBD only grossed 30 million dollars of the 110 million they made last year.

  • I mean... whatever gets you through the day, right?

  • The department of Jane’s send their dearest regards to BigBootieJudy666- an inspiration to Jane’s and killers alike.

Moo Moo must be cared for, so adequate positions of a comfortable resting place must be met; preferably in soft, tall grass out of the way from weather. He must have adequate access to food and water, and if he so prefers, he may stay in the weather or hang wherever he wishes.

Gen speeds either need to be fixed (slowed down), or preferably give survivors another objective, because as mentioned, holding M1 isn't fun. I have a whole thread about repurposing Dull totems into another objective for survivors: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/121627/ruin-nerf-gen-speeds-and-balance-suggestions

I’ll take a read then! Thank you so much for answering my questions, I appreciate it.

  • @OMagic_ManO said:

I'm not sure what you want done about holding M1 on a gen, I agree it's too fast but I mostly solo gen so that's just base work alone.

It’s just a lot of people call for the “gen times should be extended” argument, when doing a gen is already stale as is. I don’t think gens themselves are an issue, but rather the lack of other things that need to be taken care of in order to escape. The issue with that is, survivors already have to worry about unhooks, healing, running... but those seem so minor compared to what a killer has to deal with, since many people feel as if killer is stressful (which, in my experience, it kinda is), and so I just wanted to counter the potential argument of the extension of gen times before it began, because I don’t think the gen times themselves are the issue, but as you can see, I didn’t communicate that part clearly.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1064817#Comment_1064817

The point i'm making is i'm tired of going into a game as a killer and have 2-3 gens pop before the game even gets going and i end the first chase. Literally this happens almost every single game, and it's ridiculous. I have realized that its not fun for anyone. The killer or the survivors. But when the game goes on long enough and chases start happening (the fun part of the game) both sides have more fun when the gens aren't flying. And on top of that, its not an "omg entitled killer you don't deserve 4k every game" because even when i got 1K, half of the "games should be 2K/2E balance" i still had fun, and so did the survivors.

That frustration I can understand; it is frustrating having three to four gens popped during the span of one chase is an issue. I think something definitely needs to be done about that when people say to “apply pressure” when some killers can’t supply said pressure based off of their kits alone. I wanna see some exploration with other objectives, or something along the lines of that. I don’t think Gen Times is where it’s at, but there needs to be other things to do that is REQUIRED of the survivor in order to escape, such as Gas Cans, or iirc more stuff to do with totems; and Gens already being a huge part of the killer experience (the lightbringer emblem) makes playing other killers so much more difficult than it should be, which is why I’m hoping this MMR system would work.

  • I really don’t get what you’re trying to say here. Gen rush isn’t fun for survivors either, trust me— holding M1 is boring.

There isn’t a lot of substance to this post to go off of, we know that killers have more fun when there isn’t gen rush, but I just can’t tell what you’re trying to say, could you clarify for me please?

EDIT: I just don’t know what OP is getting at. What do you suggest is to be done about Gen Rush?

  • Artist: Lana Del Rey (first two), Dua Lipa

Song: Doin’ Time and or The greatest (can’t decide!) and Physical, and One Kiss.

  • My only complaint is that it just doesn’t stop when you’re not even injured anymore, and it makes me waste the perk more than I actually get to use it.

  • I once saw a group of megs just running in circles together. I joined.

    It was fun.

  • Misinformation is so hard to pinpoint at the source, so it’s important to always ask “Is this credible?” “Can I rely on this?” and or “How is this relevant to what I am talking about?”

Fake information can steer the game in the wrong direction, so it’s important to stick to the clear provided data. If you cannot provide a reliable source of information, this not ultimately weakens one’s argument, but can also be just flat out embarrassing.

Thanks Jean for addressing this issue, it’s so frequent but I don’t think anyone had the courage to say it.

Edit: I also wanted to add that sometimes it’s also misinterpretation on the forum users end; so don’t be like “Hey! That’s wrong!” But more like “I don’t see [x]”, or “Where did you get that idea?” Because sometimes it can’t be the users fault when data can be “up to interpretation”— and it’s not their fault sometimes, but you just need to be constructive about it. You’re not getting anywhere by flat out ignoring what someone else thinks, so it’s best to listen and address; because sometimes, you can be wrong. And that’s okay.

  • I honestly just learned to laugh at it. Sometimes you’re simply outplayed, and if I look stupid? Okay, I’m fine with it. It’s a learnable moment. I’ve played against a few of my fave streamers, like Cahlaflour, and honestly, I just look at it as more content from them with the added bonus of “Hey look! That’s me!”.

I don’t treat the games any differently than how it would playing against a normal set of survivors, because beside the fact they’re streaming, they’re just players like me, you, and everyone else. I’m not gonna bother going try hard on something that doesn’t really matter to me personally, I get too stressed out when I try hard, so it’s not worth the hassle.

Have I done really well on stream? Yeah. Have I done really bad on stream? Yeah. But hey, at least I’m playing with the mindset of “I can improve” not that “I need to improve”. But at the end of the day I don’t mope over it, and I just go back into another match. Streamers can teach valuable lessons about the game while just being flat out fun to watch; and who doesn’t like that? I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything else.

  • I was in one of those experiments. I was required to run no perks, completely no items (excluding those found in chest, you just had to unequip them after the trial).

They gave us the key learnings, particularly, the following:

    • Playing vanilla is a lot of fun!
    • Interest for such event is tremendous.
    • Upcoming experiments will be better organised 😊.

While these don’t provide very satisfactory answers, this was emailed directly to me around a few days after the experiment. No more particular data from that. The concept of complete vanilla (as in NOBODY run perks addons, offerings, or items) was actually a lot of fun for me.

This is just my experiment from the second experiment (which was, really the first as the original had some sort of issue), and this data was recorded in July of last year. I don’t know much else, this was all they informed me off.

EDIT: Sorry if this wasn’t the direct answer you all were looking for. This is the most info I could provide. (Not to say I’m at liberty to be silent about stats, but I literally don’t know anything else).

  • I made it to tier twenty. The grind feels a lot smoother, my biggest complaint is the killer challenges. As someone who doesn’t play much killer, getting into games made the challenges so much more annoying to complete as I usually didn’t get that challenge done in one game. Survivor one’s I liked, and I am determined to get to tier 70 this time around.

  • I’ve had that warning a dozen of times, and I personally haven’t had any issues.

I’d avoid it if you could, but I doubt it’s anything detrimental.

  • Scream Queens, stream it on Hulu and you won’t regret it.

While you have a lot to catch up on, I recommend AHS. It’s a fun watch and I really liked the latest season, which has various nods to Slasher Movies.

  • Slugging (during EGC) when you’re the only survivor left.

Nodding, intentional “gg ez” in chat, sandbagging... it can go on for a while

  • Personally, I snack on foods that are filled with calories due to the nature of my diet; so protein bars like Quest Bars.

But if I’m unbothered and have had enough calories for said day, I can eat whatever I want so I settle with Jalapeño Chips or some sort of spicy food.

With how long the queue times can be, I have a hard time believing someone who just spent 15 minutes trying to get a lobby would back out and go back in over and over again.

People who want to play with friends are not gonna waste their time in these que’s, and likely just flat out not play the game. And with the current state of matchmaking, this would significantly worsen the que’s altogether.

Not to say I can’t see where you’re coming from; some players will just shrug it off and play the game but without SWF, matchmaking would take significantly longer than what it is NOW. I often don’t take the game super seriously when playing it, and so does my group when we play together.

Acknowledging weakness and opinions: I regularly use the function; so you can interpret my opinions based off of my relevant experience provided to the topic.

But so many others use this feature; and playing with friends can make the game so much more enjoyable, and KYF (while fun sometimes) just doesn’t feel as good as going in blind and getting BP, in KYF I never feel like I’m productive, per se. Maybe for making edited screenshots, but that’s as far as I draw the line.

EDIT: Grammar is a drag to write with. Yuck.

  • My old Xbox username.

It was WaterySpore for the longest time, so then I settled for just “Watery”.

    Haven’t looked back since.

  • Professional Jane Head here!

As our Guardian has been banned, I am a temporary replacement. If they ever do come back, I’ll work right under them no questions asked.

If possible, I’d go for “Guardian of Jane’s in training”.

I will make sure all of butts look good and our hair is done, as well as overview makeup application process to fit Jane standards.

  • Finally!! I have spent so many hours trying to find a decent chroma, it’s nice to see one being made.

  • That just drives the point; people would stop playing. Not healthy for the game.

  • @gaydavidking said:

    Shirtless David. Enough said.

    Username checks out.

    Tasteful, though.

EDIT: I play Yui sometimes because I have a super cute outfit on her.

  • Always do. Drop a GG in the chat and give them a follow.

As someone in the community once said “Be the change you want to see in the community”.

I take those words to heart.

  • The game is actually healthier with SWF.

People would just dodge lobbies until they’d play together.

  • You can see some of the outfit, the arms mostly.

    It’s also visible during mori’s.

Spend your money how you want to, if you don’t think it’s worth your money, that’s your opinion and I can respect it.

  • OP, if you’re worried about NetEase, I wouldn’t bother.

Taking a look at a marketing paper on this, NetEase invested in BHVR, not a whole corporate partnership.

They may get some shares or a stake depending on how the deal laid out, but it was labeled as an investment in the paper I am reading, so I assume it was in regards to Stock.

To quote the article itself, it states:

Following this investment, Montreal-based Behaviour will continue to operate independently under the leadership of Rémi Racine, its President and Executive Producer, and NetEase Games will nominate a director to Behaviour's Board.

As you can clearly see, this indicates NetEase games doesn’t have any involvement in regards to the game itself, but rather, is providing funding. It would make sense to have someone present at the board, most companies (especially, investors) have people to monitor the progress of the company (BHVR), and report back to NetEase with how things are going, which in most cases, it’s not inputting as much funding, or if at all if a product isn’t doing so well, they can withdraw funding entirely.

This has been happening since July, or at least was made public knowledge, however; the only thing discounting against the source is that it is by NetEase, and placed on a PR website. However it is officiated by the contact information provided, one being VP of BHVR’s communication department.

/PRNewswire/ -- NetEase Games, the online games division of NetEase, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTES), one of China's leading internet and online game services providers,...

Here’s the article I was mentioning.

Also; to clarify, I am by no means affiliated with BHVR nor NetEase; the company’s internal affairs is beyond me because marketing papers can only do so much for me.

Hope this helps to ease your worries OP!

Edit1: Added a new sentence to expand on my thinking. It’s in italics.

Edit2, Reflections: Saying that just it was just a director isn’t exactly great either however, but I believe that in this case, the board executives are more collaborative and work together towards a common goal. I would say they’d have a little sway, but not very much. It is an investment known as a minority stake, which is less than 50% of the enterprise itself. With the gross BHVR got from last year alone, (130 million dollars) a share likely went to NetEase. Not to mention, this isn’t the only company NetEase has invested in last year and this year, in fact, they did invest in Bungie (the creators of Detroit Become Human).

It would likely be a lesser investment however due to NetEase being a primarily Chinese company; which in this case, video games in China are being weirdly affected by their censorship laws- in this case, DBD is graphic; and has banned Blood and Corpses, which in this case, there’s a lot- take Hawkins, Mori’s, and the injured state. Basically, the game may be at odds with the stringent censorship laws in China, so NetEase likely is investing in BHVR for the sake of gross (money), and contributions would likely have to be on the American Branch of NetEase. Since DBD is rising in terms of sales, and one of the larger game development companies in Northern America, there likely is a lot more investment in that regard.

Grim Matsuri cosmetics hardly fit anyone, I doubt they have any relevance to character lore: or nothing of importance.
