fix this bug already it's been over a year!

I don't care about winning; only fun. It's not fun getting bullied by 4 survivors.

They tried their hardest to bring out a good chapter and they did. The balance and scream changes are good, the maps done right, the killer is really fun and good and the survivors are top notch. I'm glad they made survivors better now that eruption has been nerfed.
HAHAHHAHA

generally, staying together is a bad idea sooo...

Her playstyle is to draw out games. Place 3 Drones at a 3-gen. Survivor disarms and gets trapped. Other survivors work gen. You come to gen and replace drone. The cycle keeps going until she gets a hook. Boring to play and play against.

because the meta sucks

I'm mad and angry but more I'm very confused.i saw a ghost face creeping from like 32 meters away he slowly walks towards me and I aim my character at him and he's dead center in my screen...nothing.i run away and slowly he keeps looking at me and I turn and look at him..... nothing I drop a pallet the second I do he exposes me and I spend 30 secs just running away tryna waste time he downs me and I almost instantly expose him even though my character on the floor is not looking at him.
My main question... What the ######### was I supposed to do? I looked at him and nothing happened should I run into the ######### like Idk how to get better at looking at him without taking a hit
he has a drastically longer stalking range then your revealing range. i encourage you to read the wiki.

I've completed twice as many killer challenges as survivor challenges

People are boycotting purchasing the DLC and using shards instead because they believe it was rushed, lazy work. Killer's Mori. Her model is a scaled-up survivor -- only her bionic arm and animations are new. Major perk and gameplay balancing issues. Survivor cosmetics make no sense -- they're kite flying beach bums in the same DLC as a futuristic bionic killer. "New" map which has nothing to do with Brazil. Adding 2 survivors instead of 1 in an unlicensed DLC to bump up price.
The killer and perks are weak, no question -- but not every DLC will be strong.

If you're a good Spirit player, you'll be long distance dropping guards easily on survivors

Did you see her purple cosmetic? LMAO

People who bought the DLC didn't play the PTB 😂

Oblivious isn't a strong enough deterrent for holding the box. Tapping the box when solving it giving Pinhead the heartbeat sound is incredibly annoying being the killer. They should make it so holding the box for too long starts chain hunts and makes the box respawn or a similar punishment.

There's a new chapter coming out in 15 hours?

I think he was perkless

I think Bubba took it.

"Killed"? In quotations?
These perks are UNDEINABLY killed. Current regression will ALWAYS kill a perk. 20% of current will, on a 99ed generator, only get rid of 19 seconds. And thats only at 99. Half? 9 seconds. a quarter? 5. Seconds.
Want the values for new eruption? cut the previous ones in half, AGAIN.
You... you want ALL regression perks to be like this? This has to be a troll, I just cant understand how someone could think this...
Generators dont just stop being repaired, you know. Playing killer with no slowdown/stall is absolute hell against good survivors, because everyone is preparing for the 4 man SWF or the comp nurse and wants a chance against it. Meaning anything below there will be unbearable for either side.
I just have this really nagging feeling you just dont play killer often. I dont mean to sound entitled or anything, thats just how this comes across.
"Killed" In quotations makes it seem like you think either of these perks are still viable... eruptions practically doesnt even regress and gives info at the worst possible time, forcing you to slug to get value or completely ignore it. And pop... oh how you have fallen my dearest. For an entire hook it doesnt regress nearly enough. The entire point of old pop was so that you could commit to chase, win, pop kick a gen and make up for the time in chase. Now its just a pathetic perk, objectively worse than pain res (arguably and imo the most balanced slowdown perk).
Are we going to nerf things based on pickrates? People run things because their good, yeah... but something being good doesnt make it overpowered. Pain Res rewards good play and snowballing and punishes survivor mistakes, windows is soloq heaven. I guess since windows has a 30% pickrate, it must be overpowered and they should bring back the cooldown.
This post acts as if the simple idea of slowdown existing and being impactful is bad, or OP lacks the understanding that slowdown is part of the game and that this idea is simply just a bad one.
You're jumping to a pessimistic conclusion. I haven't said I want this change to happen. (I honestly should've put this topic in the Discussion section). Pop and Eruption are okay in niche circumstances. In a 99% gen, Pop does the most instant regression than other perks for it's 20% reduction. Post-nerf Eruption has a little of both regression and info; could be paired with Lethal Pursuer for an aggressive Infectious Fright-like playstyle. Every perk is viable; doesn't mean it's good.

I could see that pallets are more concentrated in the middle because of the introduction of new dead zone tiles (the pits and the altar [does it always spawn a pallet? I don't think so, right?])
Running around the edge of the map is a lot more dangerous. That's why you see survivors looping the middle in long chases.
-
I've been playing for 6 months and I feel the same way

I can promise that if you end up gutting all regression perks like this, killer will essentially be a dead role. Gens don't just sit around at 99% all the time for maximum % current progress reduction.
"When the developers will take action". Such a weird statement to make. These are the mindsets getting killer perks nerfed over and over again.
I'm not saying THEY SHOULD implement this change; I'm just being realistic considering the trend

Well, with killers being locked in before searching, this seems like a completely possible idea. However, if you’re at an MMR where you’re seeing the 3 strongest killers on repeat, then search times might be problematic.
Is it better to play 3 difficult / unfun matches in the same timeframe as sitting in a lobby for 1 good match? Everyone has their own opinion on that.
I play both Killer and Survivor so I just flip flop whenever I see the x% bonus cause I know I'll get a match quickly. However, I understand this could be an issue.

If this mean all the other 27 killers are going to be fixed, reworked and balanced around Wesker level, i'm in for your suggestion
But i guess you don't understand why you're facing always those killer right ?
Because their Add-ons, not necessarily their powers, are busted or am I missing something? I hope they'll get rebalanced too.

can you report players on the forum?

I've been collecting data from several matches since the last patch dropped and noticed an increasingly worrisome trend: matches have become VERY survivor sided. It's borderline impossible to have a normal match as a killer anymore, literally every single survivor group is comparable to a SWF sweat squad and gens pop at rapid speeds. I also see bp incentives for killers seemingly throughout the day, that's how bad things have gotten.
You want some pics? I got pics.

This is my profile; I currently have over 2600 hours on DbD. I've been playing since 2018, mostly as killer.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/4DJLM9XTECBZ/last-18-games.png
This is a compilation of recent matches, 18 of them in total. I've been playing as Knight, Legion and Plague in those games and it's been one loss after another.
Some of these matches even featured players with hacked items (yellow flashlights with instablind capability, being able to blind from behind the killer) which has drastically lowered my enjoyment of the game. It's plain torture, not even camping seems to work against these teams.
Everyone brings Adrenaline and Dead Hard, every single survivor is playing at maximum efficency and chases take so long that half of the survivor objective is done when I finally hook someone. The constant information buffs for survivors have created a gap that's so vast that most killers can't even cross it anymore, it feels completely hopeless.
I urge you to revert these HUD-changes, survivors should NEVER have this much information to begin with. The killer entirely relies on survivors mostly lacking coordination and stumbling around; you've put this important aspect entirely on its head and enabled survivors to make a mockery out of killers. This cannot go on.
Sounds to me like your problem isn't the HUD; it's Dead Hard and Adrenaline. I agree they're getting stale and game needs a meta change.

Despite being META, nobody brings Shattered Hope. Why? Because you need to FIND where they blessed in the first place. I guess you could bring Undying to see them near totems, but once they cleanse it, you're lost again. Maybe I'll test Shattered Hope + Undying + Pentimento + 4th perk build, but I'm skeptical of its power...
Turns out despite being a powerful perk, most survivors just bring stronger, more self-centered loadouts with medkits cause you heal way more quickly with them... I played a few games with this build and I had 0 survivors bring boon perks. :/

YES I reported about this a week ago!

Blessing absolutely triggers Haunted, but blessing Plaything counters Pentimento. That said, blessing takes 2x as long as cleansing a hex totem. I would like to see totem destruction upon snuffing be basekit though.

Personal, I wish Blessing a hex Totem with a boon perk shouldn't be possible or rather instead of Destroying it, it instead deactivates the perk until you snuff it and regain back the hex.
This change will make survivors have to choose between Blessing the Totem and keeping their boon perks active with this Totem, while risking that it will come back; or... make the decision to properly cleansed it and have the Hex gone for good.
Interesting... So you're saying that if a Survivor blesses a hex totem, it makes the hex perk dormant until the Killer snuffs the boon?

I mean getting a boon down for healing after people start getting hooked is common.
The most comon time to find and snuff a boon is when you down someone healing at one right before you go to hook them
As long as 1 plaything totem gets cleansed you can get it to proc on all 5 totems completely eliminating boons from the game
I don't understand what you mean. Plaything only triggers once per survivor so max. 4 times.

It absolutely does. This post is predicated on incorrect information.
Blessings hexes is a good mechanic. Takes longer and counters penti to a degree. Good risk/reward.
According to the Wiki it should. I've played with a Random Hex + Haunted Ground + Pentimento + Random Perk loadout on different killers for the past week or two and I've noticed some games where Haunted Ground never went off. Maybe it did go off, but the red timer UI on the perk image is bugged? I highly doubt that I just didn't see it on my screen. Maybe I should record my games... 🙄

Whats your solution for when everyone runs plaything completely making boons unusable.
I forgot about Plaything... BUT! By the time 4 different survivors are hooked, does it make sense to set up a boon on the 5th totem? By the time 4 different survivors are hooked, would there be a boon blessed already? Potentially making only 1 Plaything trigger if all survivors blessed a boon?

Can't complete "Spilling Blood" without Devout...

happened to me yesterday when I tried rekindling with pentimento

There are so many counters to the perk. Just let the survivor drop (not with you on the shoulder) to wiggle free from height - stagger will make him be in very short distance from you for very easy re-down on flat floor.
Moving to sides does nothing if you are not in lery's or other indoor map/going thru doors.
The only real effect is hiden aura of close-by hook. So once you become a little observant, you will understand that the perk makes almost totally (you can still get stuck on a doors sometimes if you don't take care enough) 0 difference ever.
oo dropping them off the ledge is a great idea!

happened to me 2 days ago; had to reroll it

ok thank you
