For me the worst part of billy is the fov when charging the saw. Survivors abuse that aproaching you and is almost a matter of luck if you hit them or not.
Bubba is better than Billy in everything except mobility. I was a main Billy back then, now I'm not anymore I still play him sometimes to have fun running around.

There aren't that many keys out there, so you can dodge all the lobbies with keys.
The only problem is when they equip the key in the lasts seconds, you have 3 options: pay atenttion and dodge inmediatedly, disconnect from the game and watch some youtube or twitter 5 minutes or just accept the result and prepare to be t-bagged.

I never see a Killer camping the first or second hook, specially when gen speed is fastest than ever.
If the killer camps the firsts hooks, just rush the gens and leave. Punish the killer for that behaviour instead of asking devs to do so. It takes less than 30 seconds to do a gen with 2 people working on it + prove thyself.
I always like to go for 12 hooks, constantly chasing people, and they still rush the gens. I can't imagine camping being effective in this boring and fast meta.

This isn't survival of the fittest.
Survivors are supposed to work together to survive.
That's why there are 4 sides to a gen and a shared goal.
What's the point in me using my teammates as pawns for some stupid perk that forces me to either: A) play in a group which every killers hate or B) Equip counter perks by predicting BBQ while I cross my fingers and hope others will do the same.
It's stupid.
Of course you have to cooperate with your teammates as solo, maybe I didn't explain the point correctly.
You have to work together until doing so will cost your life. You can't make them to play better, if they lose against BBQ the best thing you can do is try to survive by yourself.
-
Someday people will realize how bad and unhealthy is the gen speed for this game, almost all of the "problems" and "toxicity" are directly or indirectly related to how fast gens go. Slowing down the gens would be great for killers and survivors.
You want to know why Killers run Noed? Why they tunnel? Because they are losing a gen every 40 seconds and they need to do something to apply some pressure, or to punish that behaviour.
You want to know why dead hard is so good? Because it buys time, and time means more gens are flying.
One thing devs could do is to increase the reward for doing dull totems, it would encourage some survivors to stop going for M1 all the game.

That's because even if I do, others won't and what's the point if three other survivors die and I have like 3~4 gens left?
That's not helpful at all.
But when you play solo you should have as a maximum priority your life, not to get everyone saved, sadly. Without communication you have to asume that some sacrifices have to be made.
-
"I don't wanna hear hide in a locker" but dude thats basically the major counter of BBQ.
Is like asking "how to counter noed" and saying "don't tell me to do totems".
-
I will definetly play this killer with Hisoka's theme in the background. My head is arleady vibing with the spanish guitar.
-
That happens too when the survivor is next to a gen. Its a bug and some survivors are exploiting it. Report him and move on to the next game.
-
Its funny to see people defending the spam clicking as "part of the game to bait the killer" when after a thousand hours I only saw that movement to BM.
Sadly they will not remove that because of this kinda health problems so...you have no choice other than dodging lobbies with flashlights (they can still find one in a chest though...)

Downing a survivor who just got unhooked isn't tunneling?
It is, but Killers right now can't afford to chase everytime a different survivor to go for 12 unhooks, unless there is a big skill cap between the killer and the survivors.
If you chase a different survivor everytime, you'll get rushed. Killers have to focus in 1 or 2 survivors to drop them off the game asap.

ooh we survivors wouldnt complain if we had an anti tunneling perk (DS doesnt work becasue it barely works lmao) they just count in there head and slug you
Well, unhooked survivors go directly into a locker so...they are almost saying outloud "hey, tunnel me". Maybe we should consider that the abuse they do with that perk is the problem, not the perk itself.
-
Its totally fine to tunnel, specially with one of the fastest meta ever. I would like to know the average time per game, because as both killer and survivors my games seem to be like 4-5 minutes. Its crazy.
So tunneling is the best way the killer has to slow down the gen progression. Survivors know that, thats why they complain about tunneling, they want to keep escaping and mocking the killer.
-
Any build with Pop Goes The Weasel is meme, because you think you'll reach the gen after a hook and suddenly its done.
-
Use Noed, its a pretty good perk to catch down school bullies which in my experience there is at least one in every match.
-
If I'm not mistaken its the same skillcheck as DS, so survivors are used to it. The only advantatge overcharge has is that it might take surivors by surprise the first time.
Its the kind of perk that I use when I have nothing more to complete a semi-leveled killer.

My advice to you is just ignore rank. Is not important at all since it gives you 0 rewards, is just a number and in most cases high rank only means you play a lot.
Pip system is kinda broken right now for both sides. Doing a massive 4k due to snowball and having a blackpip is like the game saying to you "hey, don't be this good because the system can afford you". On the survivor side, yeah playing solo is painful and like every team based game it relays on luck with the team you got.
-
I don't want to be rude but this post is obnoxious.
Gen progression is unbalanced, is actually so damn fast that makes perks like Corrupt, pop or ruin a mandatory if you want to compete.
So yeah this post makes no sense.
-
I played like 20 matches since the patch and I didn't find a single one yet. I agree.
-
Camping is not an actual thing, because if the killers camps he loses the game (if survivors are smart enough to work on gens, which sometimes its not the case).
The idea is bad because on red ranks most survivors just rescue in front of the killer, they just rush the hook sometimes even while the killer is carrying the survivor.
You also have borrowed time, and remember that sometimes the killer has no other option than camping.
Whoever says "I never camp", he never played killer seriously.
-
Its not about the distance, not even avoiding a hit or reaching a pallet with that, its about the time.
DH has the power to extend a chase, making like 30 seconds instead of 20 (this is an example). I don't have a problem with dead hard I have a problem with comitting just one time to the wrong chase or get tricket by dead hard and instantly lose the game because of how fast gens go.
So I would not nerf dead hard, I would nerf gen speed.
-
I don't think they will nerf gen speed, so we better adapt to it or just play another game (I cameback after a few months tired of gen rush like you, but its still the same).
I'm running corrupt, pop, tremors and monitor on my Deathslinger right now because he is so weak to rush, you better run gen disrupt perks.
My tip against SWF is to camp. They tend to be super altruistic.

i got a question: do I have to finish repairing the generator WHILE dark sense is active?
No, just having the perk itself will do the job.
I did this challenge in my first attempt after realising that in some games I did the 4 repair without having the challenge active, so I just tried with a gen-finder build.

It did a bit. Tool boxes were nerfed a bit with gen speeds. Great skill checks were reduced from 2% to 1%. There might've been more but I don't remember if it was within a reasonable time from now.
And ruin got nerfed too, same with pop. If they nerf gen progression/regression in both sides the situation doesn't change at all.
-
In which universe gen speed got nerfed?
Anyways, I'm okay with dead hard nerf, not because they can "avoid a hit", is just the time you lose because of that. At same time I'm okay with iris huntress nerf.
About the OP, Its true that neither killers or surivors get satisfied, but nerfs go to both sides (on my perspective, specially killers at least in the last 2 years).

@Imagine_Milk said:
I'd say NOED is a crutch perk for bad killers. If a killer is not performing well in the match before the last generator is completed, they will most likely rely on NOED to be lethal and carry them. When a killer is carried by NOED, they are rewarded because of this perk.
Same can be applied to decisive strike and dead hard.
NOED is deadly but keep in mind that the killer is playing the entire match with just 3 perks...against 16 perks. Noed punishes gen rush which sadly is still a thing so yeah...I think is fine as it is.
-
Don't be confused, the toxicity on Killers is born because of survivor's behaviour. Every game has 4 potential toxic kids against 1, is logic to realise that.
Most of survivors are rude to the killer, with t-bag, flashlight clicks, "ez" in the endgame chat after being carried by DS and DH...so yeah what do you think the killer would do if he is being provoked that way...he will be toxic and play iris huntress, noed, mori etc next game.
So basically as survivor (not OP, I mean in general), the less toxic you are the less toxic killers you'll find.
I just played a game as deathslinger and 5 gens were done in almost 4 minutes. Toolboxes, DS inmunity and stuff, you know what they said in the endgame chat? "Ez game, don't play killer". You know what I'm thinking? Playing noed next game.
Is simple as that.
-
Dead Hard is overpowered not because it allows you to avoid a hit, or reach a pallet. Dead hard is OP because buys TIME.
Time is the most precious thing killers have, because gens go crazy fast this days. Its not a big deal to play around dead hard if we are talking about doing a hit, the point is that it can extend the chases 10-20-30 seconds or even more which basically means losing one or two gens more.
The dead hard meta is so hard that survivors are more confortable while injured, which basically speeds the meta much more because no one loses time healing, just rush the gens with prove thyself.
I don't think dead hard needs changes though, I think its about the gen speed. Injured survivors should have a decreased speed doing gens.
-
I guess it means you're finding good killers. Camping was never a good strategy for the killers because allow survivors to freely do gens, they complaing about camping because they don't play killer at all. Sometimes camping is needed thought, if you don't have any other objective to patroll (for example having the last 3 gens together with the hook).
About tunneling, with Borrowed time and Decisive Locker (Strike), tunneling is kinda hard. You focus in one survivor and 4 gens will pop in 3 minutes.
Basically both strategies are bad because how fast gens go.
-
Nice bait.
If you just want 1 minute inmunity to the killer (4 inmunities in total, one per each survivor) this is not the game for you.
Try to improve your chase mechanics, or just follow the meta and do 4 gens in 2 minutes. No time for tunneling if the game is 5 minutes long.
-
I can confirm this happens with the rocks on the hill. I can provide video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYWvjZdOEG8After a few minutes I was able to sprint out of it. But I wasn't able to get out walking, sprinting or crouching. Hope the video helps the devs.
-
I think Dowsey made a video about T3 being better than T1...then Otzdarva thinks the inverse...
I guess is just personal preference, I agree that having a notification more frequently might be better but it can be annoying while in a chase.
-
Noed is really good against gen rush, and punishes the overconfidence altruism.
-
In fact one is a consequence off the other. Tunneling is a consequence of gen rushing. If you get rid of the second one, the first one will decrease dramatically.
-
Its bugged. You have to aim a little bit down now to be able to connect the vomit.
-
Stridor -> Spirit Ears
Beast of Prey -> You can know stop moonwalking
Dying Light -> Meme Light
Hex: Ruin -> Hex: Ruined by devs
Overwhelming presence -> Overhelming bad perk
Franklin's Demise -> Sir, your wallet!
Fire Up -> XD
Rancor -> Kill the claudette
-
Noed is fine, punishes survivors for gen rushing and not taking care of bones.
About DS, its supposed to be there to prevent tunneling but what it does is just 1 minute of invulnerability.
-
Its a confirmed bug and devs already know about it.

I get camping if there's 2 survivors left and you know the last guy is going to save him, so you can secure a kill. But camping after a single save or literally the first survivor is not the way the game direction should be heading towards.
If the killers camps in the first hook he'll loose 5 gens if the other survivors are smart enough (not the case usually). If he camps and you stay around the hook the fault is yours.
Camping is counterproductive for the killer, except when he can camp and at the same time patroll last gens.
-
Ormond and Haddonfield offerings is a good reason too.
-
Dodge SWF.
-
Almost any online game has a toxic community, because internet is the easiest place to be an #########.
The tbaggers an flashlight clickers just want the attention they don't get in real life, probably because of a miserable house ambient or even school. If you ignore them its the best thing you can do to remember them how miserable they are.
-
The stun time is not a problem if you slug.
The problem with DS is being forced to slug and lockers, not the stun duration.
-
My english is bad but...as I understand, the Killer lock is ON but the new MMR system is not in the game already...right? at least not on PC.
-
The problem with gen rush is that makes the game unfun for both sides, specially Killer...but as survivor, is not that fun to just press M1.
Chases are the most fun part of this game and if the Killer has to drop 8 of 10 chases to not lose 3 gens well that's when the game is in trouble.
-
Legion is actually one of the weakest Killers, or at least one that requires more skill to have consistant results with him...and Thana actually needs a buff because even with 4 injured survivors the numbers aren't that great so...yeah.

But people don't see it that way and I usually am the only one to notice at times
Survivor mains will never say that gens are too fast, neither Killers with a tremendous level of skill thay they demolish most of the games (and they even get rushed sometimes). Killers in brown-green ranks probably don't see it either.
The worst feeling is lack of counterplay and even powerless, which is really bad for the killer side.
-
Gen progression is an actual problem, unless you manage to snowball really hard or you're far better than the survivors. In a game with equal skill you'll probably get rushed.
People have to understand that only because a Killer is able to 4k a game doesn't mean that the gen progression is fine. If you 4k but they finish 3 gens in less than 2 minutes that's something big. Anyways the biggest downside of the genrush meta is that Killers are forced to make 0 mistakes, commit 1 time to the wrong chase and the game is done. There is not that big punish on survivor side.
In a situation where you hook a survivor, you chase another one, and the third one is going for the safe...if the gens are still poping fast...yeah, the "apply pressure" is kinda a meme.
-
Are the Ace's perks the worst ones on Survivor side? Even worst than Quentins?
