- This same topic has been said almost verbatim every single time, every single update, since the existence of the game. It is not "worst than ever".
- I'm a Rank 1 Killer who mains Demo for a living. And I get accused by the saltiest of players for "tunneling" and "camping" because in their eyes, I should ignore anyone around their hook and go across the map and stare at a wall for 30 seconds to a minute before I even think about going for the player who unhooked them. This is when DS has never gone off and BT has never gone off.
- DS and BT does absolutely counter it. That's the whole premise of the perk. If you still can't get out of that situation with 1 or both of those perks. That means 3 things. A) You're a potato. B) You or your team wasted all the pallets in the area for you to loop the killer and make your escape. Or C), RNG is not on your side based on where you were downed and where the Killer hooked you in terms of vaults and pallet drop locations.
- Event has nothing to do with your initial statement, so idk why this was thrown in there.
- Because other Survivors know how to catch on and play? You also have to think of the difference between the Killer main community and the Survivor community. If you noticed, Queue times for Survivor are almost instant whereas Killer requires you to wait 1-3 minutes. Sometimes even 5-7 if you're really unlucky.
- No lag issues unless you're a console player but so far, I haven't seen any on PC and my wife who plays on Playstation also doesn't suffer from lag issues. That's not to belittle your statement, I've seen quite a few posts in the forums about lag issues when it comes to consoles, but it doesn't affect everyone equally.
1 - Of course its worst than ever since i'ts instant T , im playing since 2018 and i never met so much tunneling before. So yup i guess it will be worst again in the future
2- stop talking to me as an newbie, i know that the killer wont leave an hooked surv if someone nearby. Im talking about the ones that are in the opposite of the map but that gonna come back just to sue you to death, that have the choice to start another chase but that gonna choose the easy way out and ruins someone else game on purpose. Yeaah its part of the game... just like making a fishtail in a F1 race
3- No, if a killer wants you dead, he will eat the DS and the BT no matter what. You can be unlucky with the map structure but stop calling someone's gameplay you dont even know potato, at this point its laughable
4- because the event is just basically this. The killer tends to play more unfair since he will be rewarded anyway
5 - once again, no. I can answer that maybe other killers can catch on, have 3k or even 4k without being jerks ? We wouldnt have such DC's as survs if the game were fair. And i dont know why you talk about queue times but ok.
5- im on PS4, and its awful i can tell. Anytime the killers hits someone, anytime someone use dead hard, and some randoms moments for no reasons, you got a 0,1 sec freeze.
For others yeah sure i'm a survivor entitled blah blah blah git gud blah blah blah..

Even if the PS5 looks awesome and if now DBD on ps4 is fully lagged, i dont have 500€ to waste now on such thing . So no thanks, ill keep playing DBD on PS4 until the day this game will be totally unplayable on it ( which is close I guess )

Meh its both. Most of the time i got the same as you, but sometimes i got potatoes survivors i feel guilty to kill and sometimes i feel IM the potato between the 3 others survs lol

Some killers assume a good team is obviously SWF, which its not always true. How many times i did see killer streamers whining about me in game being unfair SWF while im solo lol

Survive With Friends, which could mean potentially having communications devices and so a certain advantage in game. A team, simply as that. The opposite of a SoloQ player, which is... solo.

I just have a match against trapper
Doors opens, 2 survs left. I ran to the middle of the map near hatch, theres was a full health Claudette that refused to heal me and was waiting for me to leave to get hatch.
So i ran for 30 secs and get downed by the killer almost at a gate. We both died on timer while she at least could escape or give the hurted surv the hatch and escape by gate but... no. Typical Claudette

DC is bannable OK
But hook suicide is part of the game, even if its already been "nerfed" - taking few more moments to die - survs have the right to do it. Not cool, but legit

I would love some kind of Charlatan, 20's style magician, with some illusionnal abilities like taking the appearance of a survivor, a gen, or a random element from the map to surprise survs and attack them.

Dont get your hopes up too high. They implemented checks around every corner. There is probably no way to get around them normally, from within the game. So guess we are done.

There is no camping issue. Losing isn't supposed to be fun, and putting killers in a situation where a single survivor is equal to (or stronger than) them is just poor balance. That's how asymmetrical games die, when the 1 in the 4v1 is equal to each individual survivor.
Camping is only fun for one type of player: trolls. They are not killer mains, they're trolls. Their "fun" is in seeing threads like this.
Again, you're still new. I can escape despite camping, and so can other survivors.
Yes, THERE ARE camping issues, stop deny it, i'm not a new player, always been solo Q and i faced it way too many times, still now 7 games on 10 in red ranks.

Camping, - such as tunnel , genrush swf comm etc - stays an issue , part of the gameplay but very unfair. It may have no solutions but thats a kind of issue thats make new players totally lose interest on this game and dont coming back, so denying it , its just ridiculous

Many of my matches against him today have ended with him receiving an effortless 4K on a silver platter. Bully squads. I do enjoy having my max brightness screen boosted to 100 whith a massive white light every 30secs. It's vry fun to have my eyes ache from a swf group coordinating to just make my day terrible. It's the same time investment issue as the campers.
I'm don't have solutions to these problems, but can we stop pretending they don't exist. Every single thread devolves into "that's not real," or "you're just entitled" posts.
For reference I'm a killer main, and not good. I have to sweat hard to break into green ranks, let alone red.
I can tell that ranks 1 camps/tunnel af too XD

Even if its not bannable, camping and tunneling still ridiculous at rank 1, yes. Why you need so much attention to come here to post this ? To me this is the typical "look at me im better than those average mad players ive ruined the experience by playing unsportlike, im so superior" useless shaming ..
