Well it starts with constant spamming, I've witnessed this on Twitter about eruption. One team thinking their gods and got defeated by post Eruption from a killer they considered beneath their godly feet soles won a match?
Defeated them and they spammed Bhvr claiming killers without skill should not have an opportunity to capitalize on survivors from a perk. Well god-damned if the killer power didn't work out, or the add-ons didn't help in or their other three perks did diddly squat and they brought them some time because incapacitated status ? was awesome status.
Having such an effect on a killer perk is unfair and unbalanced quote on quote?
Meanwhile survivors have DS, Adrenaline, Borrowed time," very very" strong instant healing perks,med-kits with instant healing basically and a wholeeeee lotta other things that I don't even bother to care about reading the description that stacks and guess all these things do they buy the survivor "more time"? So yeah if you don't sqe the double standard there " I cannot help you friend" ?
Also Pyramid Head shadow nerfed multiple times and no one noticed but i did ?
Eruption is the worst example you could've used to make your point but okay

Buffing a perk like this just to get it picked more is silly. Considering what it does has a very strong effect for what it's designed for. You run silently, pretty much negating all mindgame attempts by a Killer that has no LOS on you. They have to make a blind prediction on your movement at a tile, while not knowing if you are even still there or not.
It goes on a cooldown too by rushed vaults by the way as if it's doing something spectacular and most tiles have vaults so it's even more limited than not working during injured LOL. Yay, got lightfooted value for 2 seconds... Sad.

"until recently won around 80-90% of my games, despite the fact the game (and devs) naturally favors survivors"
The game and the devs "favor survivors" yet you still win %90 of your games... It's as if the favorism isn't working or it doesn't exist... How interesting.
For real though I can't believe how you wrote that sentence and didn't stop to think how contradictory it is within itself.
Forums never disappoint me.

@_Onyx_ said:
The whole point of the perk is to be able to peel away from any tile you want to without the Killer hearing you do so. Why would it need to work while injured when you're grunting up a storm?
And/or use it to follow the Killer with Breakout without them hearing you behind them.
It's perfectly fine as it is.
Never seen anyone run this perk once and it has %0.9 usage rate on NL to give us an idea. I don't think that screams "perfectly fine" but rather "hot garbage". Just like all of Ripley's perks.

Like what is this bloodweb... brown & yellow trash.
-
Hope this fix is a priority. It feels like a scam to spend bloodpoints right now, especially during an event...
-
Yeah I realized this bug too for some time. When you're on hook it sounds like the killer left the area but when someone unhooks you it's like the killer was actually close and didn't leave that far. They aren't undetectable either.
So it's like hooked person can't hear the terror radius until they get unhooked.

When survivors complain enough then BHVR will take action. The so called 'rework' is actually a big nerf for the killer.
Freddy: BHVR's fault, survivors didn't ask for this. Forever Freddy was not okay but this didn't mean his add-ons have to be garbage after rework. BHVR decides to do that. He was boring before the rework and still is.
Legion: Indefensible. Turns out survivors are the ones that have to deal with that BS if you design a Killer like that. Also he isn't the worst Killer right now.
Hillbilly: BHVR's fault, survivors didn't ask for this. Also which survivor complains about Billy? BFR.
Onryo: much stronger now.
Skull Merchant: much stronger now.
Trickster: much stronger now.
So help me understand the "when survivors complain enough" narrative. BHVR flops with a rework and it's the survivors' fault even though it's BHVR who decides how the rework is suppose to be like? Stop the us vs. them. Thanks.

the question is killers never stop chasing or trying to kill survivors so why should survivors ever stop doing gens or not prioritize gens since it's their only objective and escape route

Wait, is this only on Pc and Epic? Looking at that bug report, it is said that the platform is pc and epic. I play on Ps5.
I don't think bloodwebs differ depending on platforms but I'm not sure. The best way to test it would be if you have a P100 on console level them up once and if the new web doesn't have 2 guaranteed iris: it's broken. This applies to survivors too. Almost all my webs are brown and yellows, filled with trash.

Wait is there that kind of bug? When did it happen? I think I saw Tombstone Piece on Bloodweb two days ago.
I think it's easier to see if you have a P100 who is constantly on Level 50.
You can take a look at this bug report. Somebody also made a video explaining it in detail:

so its like every other event, but worse? how fun. time to go play wolfenstien the old blood
for real. you can still give it a try to see if you enjoy it but playing something you actually enjoy unconditionally is better. dbd has turned from one of my comfort games into a stressor so i'm taking breaks when i can. we all already have a lot to deal with in our day to day lives so we should dedicate our gaming time to something we love!
-
tbh only if you care about the limited time cosmetics they give during the current event.
it's not even worth spending bloodpoints right now on a character you like because there's a bug where bloodweb doesn't even give you any iri or purple addons/items sometimes. this is a bug during an event where you are incentivized to spend a lot of points. how sad.
killers don't care about the event and sweat their ass off with 4 gen perks and turbo-tunneling. survivors give up and end themselves over any little inconvenience.
smallest qol features take ages to be implemented and nobody has the patience to wait anymore because we are mortal.
maybe i'm feeling a bit pessimistic today but yeah.

You cannot just count every Gen equal in your "math". The first 1-3 Gens are faster and the last Gen is most likely taking longer than the first 4 Gens combined.
As Killer it is logical that you lose Gens early. Survivors are the strongest at the start.
You can easily play a game as Killer, lose 2-3 Gens before your first down and then get a 4K without any more Gens completed.
I agree and this is usually the case. The first 3 gens don't really have much meaning on how the game is going to go.
-
But you don't understand... If the Killer doesn't get a 4k they won't be able to feed their family. Have some empathy.π

That's so cute.
I'm also waiting under mistletoe to give Killers a gift. π

For clarification, this thread (at the end, especially) is Feedback. This is the category for Feedback & Suggestions to go, so it is not lost among the threads in General Discussions. This allows feedback and suggestions to be visible to be taken back to the Team; not to be "hidden" or "removed".
And to respond to the OP, the title was edited to be a little more concise with the post <3 Between some real world obligations and being sick the last week and a half, I didn't get too much event time in just yet, but I had a few rounds last night throwing snow skulls as Krampus Trapper :3
oops! I meant to type "move" and accidentally wrote "remove" LOLπ
I commented that because the OP was being funny and cute on their post HAHA.
CATCH THESE!
-
Just let it go to be honest. It's been some time since it was removed and obviously it isn't ever coming back. There's no actual reason to reintroduce this at all. We all know why they removed it long ago.

If you come up with a more realistic task in case that happens (and it will), i would actually quote you on that.π Lithe, SB, Distortion, WoO and i also Resilience are most likely going to get nerfed rather sooner then later.
I add even another one, and you can quote me on that aswell:
Killer mains will compain very soon about Deja-Vu. "Its the new prove thyself but much stronger" "Now that 3gen is fixed, nerf Deja-Vu"
I would be so disappointed and lose all hope in DBD's decision-making if that ever becomes true...

I will eat my mouse and keyboard live on stream, and you can quote me on that, if BHVR actually nerfs SB and Lithe, but especially in the light of the current meta and their "unbearable pressure" on the killers population.
You know I would be watching as always.πΊ
-
Props to this person for taking the time to explain it thoroughly. This needs to be fixed ASAP. Especially during an event where everyone spends more bloodpoints and invest in characters they care about.

The year is 20xx. The last 4 survivor players are choosing between a 105% for 2 seconds sprint burst and a 110% for 1.5 seconds lithe. the 8 required generators take 10 minutes each. toolboxes can reduce this by a maximum of 3 seconds with ideal addons. the killer meta includes a perk that permanently exposes all survivors and shows their auras. somewhere, a killer player is calling the game survivor sided because the survivors finished a whole generator before getting the 4k.

Im not sure you understood what he said, he ment that it gives "a free health state" because they run away and therefore they are not getting a hit.
If it is dead heart / off the record or other second chance perks, or if it is the perks OP mentions. The end result is that the survivor gets away from them with out loosing a healt state.
It's still flawed logic though. Just because someone used SB or Lithe doesn't mean a hit is denied. It may be delayed but not denied. Meanwhile DH or OTR grants endurance which is actually more comparable to a health state. Just because you made some distance doesn't mean you're invincible. So saying SB and Lithe grants you a "free health state" is still incorrect and just an exaggeration.

they give you free health state and survivors are not healing because they are safe with exhaustion perks. they know they can run to shack before chase starts. they can run to safe loops with exhaustion perks. survivors are so safe with exhaustion perks.
why heal when you are safe? they will repair generators even faster. that is broken.
why heal when you could be doing a gen? = play survivor for once then you'll get it. it doesn't give them a free health state either- you're stretching it to make it sound dramatic.

lithe and sprint burst perks are giving free health state to survivor, they are running away before chase starts. if you follow them, you will waste good time. generators are so fast, chases should be fast too for counter them but those perks makes chase longer.
why bring a perk if it doesn't give you an advantage? why do you expect survivor perks to be useless? ofcourse it's going to give them some distance because they are haste related exhaustion perks? that's the whole point? what do you want them to do? also it's not free? they dedicated a perkslot for that perk to do one thing and it's doing it and they have a cooldown?

Anyone know what's happening to the exclusive cosmetics in the DLCs? So yun-jin's orange polka dot shirt for example. FAQ didn't really answer this
"The recolored Cosmetics can be purchased individually from the in-game Store if you already own the DLCs or do not wish to purchase the new DLC Packs."
This sounds like they're just going to be added to the Store and be available for purchase.

I can see how it's a bit annoying because AFAIK it doesn't have a cooldown and it can be constantly activated back to back but I don't think it's comparable to MFT.

Here is the reason why nightlights survivor usage rate is quite accurate: you are getting 4 samples collected in the wild for each game played. And often through several MMR and skill regions, because that's just how the MMR system works.
The data of the survivors I verse matches a lot with the official releases one. The official data, though, is the global numbers over all skill levels and regions of the so are bound to be differences from what you verse in your own games.
That so much matches up, though, makes Nightlight a good temperature barometer IMHO. Its not to be taken as an exact tool, but it shows trends very well and you could see the raise and favor of MFT in real time on that page, while people were mockingly stating that MFT wasn't even in the top10 of BHVRs released stats of that time, wh8ch was purposefully ignoring the fact that MFT wasn't released for half of the time bracket that BHVRs stats were collected in.
Hi Akuma! "Its not to be taken as an exact tool, but it shows trends very well." is exactly what I'm saying and I agree with what you've said. It paints the general picture of top perks pretty accurately and back then it almost completely matched the official data with small differences which means if NL says MFT isn't even in Top 10 anymore, there's a very high chance it's correct information. I keep emphasizing that I'm ONLY talking about top perks and not Killer pickrates or killrates etc. but some persistently misconstrue what I'm saying.π
